481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OMG what happend with Litecoin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: December 13, 2017, 01:20:45 AM
Yeah I think it's a pump but is probably going to dump pretty soon, thats what I expect but I'm only a newbie  Smiley
As like bitcoin, in altcoin their will be a pump and dump. But the differenve is there may huge reduction in bitcoin. In altcoin it was not like that so. Advantage of investing in altcoin is ,it will give you 10×,20× even 100× of invested money. Now the price of lite coin raised more than a 360$ ,it reach almost Ethereum. All the holders of lite coin ,will have lot of dollars in his pocket. Cheers
Here's a friend, we should know that Litecoin has been around for a long time. Since I first met Bitcoin, I've seen Litecoin there. As for Ethereum, we know that Ethereum came after Litecoin. It is true that the development of Ethereum prices very rapidly and quickly can even beat Litecoin. But we must know that Litecoin will not remain silent, Litecoin will not let the market go away. Litecoin will continue to grow although not as fast as other cryptocurrency. And I'm sure, Litecoin will continue to grow in the future.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would anyone do such a scam? on: December 11, 2017, 11:07:43 PM
Stumbled across this news: http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/12/08/ico-scammers-new-cybercriminal-breed/
The thing is someone threatened to give a bad review on ICO if they refuse to pay him for a good review. Well, they refused, and the guy started to call them a scam. I'm pretty sure they are not. But anyway, why would anyone do such a thing? Waste their time to do bad to others? I mean his time could be used better than that.
It is dishonest but that is the way things are, it is not rare for icos to pay someone to write articles favorable about them, so it is not surprise that the opposite were to happen as well, where someone asks money to give a good review and if the ico does not comply then its gets a bad review, this kind of thing happens not only in icos but almost in everything in life where reviews are involved.
Yes, a lot of things like that. I guess it's been around a long time and not just ICO's needing such a review. Many online business websites or online jobs pay writers for their services that write good article reviews. This is not a good way to promote an ICO or an online business. In addition can be misused, the person who writes articles can be careless and erratic. I myself have never read such a review article. I'm usually looking for a good ICO by looking at the various discussions on the internet. For example like in facebook group and online forum. We should stop reading at various review from unknown sites.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ICOs right now? on: December 11, 2017, 11:03:57 PM
The HQx Token: What It Is and Why You Want It
If you have a business, you likely spend a lot of time every quarter trying to figure out the best way to utilize your marketing budget. You want to reach the most potential consumers for the least money possible. Likely you have noticed that more and more of your budget is being spent on internet advertising. In fact, for the first time, in 2017, a plurality of advertising expenditures worldwide went to the internet. By 2021, half of the money spent by businesses on advertising is expected to go online.
If you want to know the popular ICO and the lucrative ICO, you can search in the Services section, it is one of the sub-forums in this forum. Usually there will be many campaigns or bounty available from various ICO. So later you can know which ICO is running. If you've found the various ICOs there, you can start to find out and do some research on the ICO. You have to make sure if ICO is legit and not a scam. The easiest way to make sure of that is to look at the testimonies of the various people who have tried the ICO. Or you can read the whitepaper and see the developers.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 15k to invest - how would YOU spread it on: December 11, 2017, 10:52:07 PM
I'm looking to invest around 15k possibly up to 25k in bit and altcoins. Just curious how some of you would invest the money for the short and long term. I use to own some bitcoin a couple year's back but stupidly didn't see the bigger picture at that time. Trying to research as heavily as I can to get the best understanding of what's going on now. Look forward to hearing others opinions and reasoning for how they'd go about this.
Im so envy with how much capital your possesing. If on your shoes with that much capital I would buy 40% on btc and the other 60% on altcoins. Look for a coin that has a potential in the future or you could just look on the top 10 alts or the top 20. In my case I would buy ETH, LTC, Waves,  or Monero. Or you could atleast spare 10-15% to invest on good ICO's. All of these investments bears different level of risks so better be safe and research all the time.
If you want to follow my advice, I'll let you know. If you have that kind of money, then you have no financial problems and can try new things. I suggest you to invest into Bitcoin alone if you want to focus on one thing. But there are some people who think that Ethereum and Waves investments are a good investment. If you're in doubt about Bitcoin, I suggest you invest in Ethereum and Waves because they can be used as backup plans or other sources of income other than Bitcoin. It's important for you to have more than one good source of income. So if one of them has trouble, you still have another.
485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i lost 20% of my budget on: December 10, 2017, 09:54:31 PM
Its hard to accept that you lose your money in just one click, but you need to accept that losing money is part of trading, that's natural, just study a lot about trading so you have learn avoid losing money  .
One of the most painful things about trading is that. From the beginning you decide to do trading, you must know the risks and consequences of every action and transaction you make. In every transaction you make when trading, it must save the risk between loss and profit. You can lose and profit at any time, different if you build a store or a company. Keep learning if you believe that you can be successful with trading, but if you do not like to take risks, you should look for other opportunities to channel your ability and time. You can try to build a mining business, or work on projects to raise money.
486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: December 10, 2017, 09:51:59 PM
Well, sad to say that most of my trading miss the good opportunity, some of my campaign did not execute properly and have not enough idea in some camapaign rhia is because there is more important things need to finish. Like studying, so to manage my time I spend a day of 2 to 4 hours in checking the price of every coin I have, posting and reading news.
I have some plans and time-sharing as follows: I am a freelance worker. I always set aside my time a few hours a day to post in this forum and do other work apart from my main job. Normally I will do my main job always and I have to finish first. But if my main job is having problems or constraints, I usually do my side job. Usually I will post in this forum on the sidelines of my main job. So I can collect money for food and daily necessities while I collect Bitcoin. If all the main job are done, I will make sure all my side job are done as well before I rest.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the time to buy Bitcoin on: December 10, 2017, 09:41:35 PM
It is best to buy bitcoin when the price is low, but the bitcoin price goes up everyday, so i suggest to buy now because its i believe it will never goes back to its previous price.
The problem anyway is still subjected to the fact that we do not know the low point yet as bitcoin has a way of ultimately surprising everyone. Like you said, buying now is still pretty perfect, whether it goes back to the previous price or not. I missed buying at $5700 because I was hoping for dip and then I missed buying at $6000 again cause I was still waiting and here I am now still waiting Grin and that is what happens when you miss the right moment and end up buying higher eventually.
There is no time to buy Bitcoin, if you buy Bitcoin while the price is still low, you are lucky. If you buy Bitcoin while there is a price drop, you are lucky. But we never know and can never predict when the price of Bitcoin will go down, rather than wait for an uncertain time we better buy and collect Bitcoin as much as we can. If you keep waiting, Bitcoin prices will continue to rise as time passes. Do not ever wait to buy or have a Bitcoin, you'll just lose it. The sooner you have Bitcoin, the sooner you get a profit from Bitcoin.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of Bitcoin ? on: December 10, 2017, 11:52:24 AM
That's a possible speculation since part of it is already practiced today with bitcoin. Aside from those speculations written, bitcoin's price could also reach hundreds of thousands in the future as more and more investors pour in their money on bitcoin.
I think there are so many factors that affect the price of Bitcoin, not just because investors are investing into Bitcoin alone. And I think Bitcoin's future is not just about price, but there are so many other factors that will be related to Bitcoin. Like for example: Bitcoin ATMs, Bitcoin stores and restaurants, donations and maybe weddings that use Bitcoin, and a free market that uses Bitcoin. The more important, there will be many poor and middle-class people who will become rich because of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin not just to invest. There are some people who believe that someday, Bitcoin will be the currency of the future. They believe that Bitcoin will play a very important role for economies around the world. Usually such a person would not sell their Bitcoin, no matter what.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: December 10, 2017, 11:29:24 AM
If you are mining the good alternate coins, perhaps, that puts you in the win column. You might also be mining those very rare and not so familiar altcoin today that will be elite someday. So just hodl it if you think that coin has a future.
First of all I have to tell you that mining is not easy and takes a lot of money. Mining is not necessarily successful and profit, you have to calculate everything you need and all the suitable hardware. You should also do research on cryptocurrency that you seek and you want. So in other words, mining is only for people who have a lot of money. If you do not have enough money, and can only collect cryptocurrency, then holding is the most suitable for you. Never sell if you're not in a state of urgency, sell your cryptocurrency when you've got a lot of profit.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: December 10, 2017, 11:24:12 AM
Bitcoin users are currently dominated by upper-middle-class society, as they already have support for accessing Bitcoin, like computers, laptops and smartphones, while those whose lives are below the poverty line do not have it all. In essence, Bitcoin is still individual. so if in my opinion, Bitcoin can not eliminate poverty.
I do not think Bitcoin can eliminate poverty all over the world. The only way to get rid of poverty is if the whole world unites and does what we have to do long ago. Sometimes I think the world is very strange. Here we can have fun, play ball, hold concerts, make love, and various other spree things. However, on the other hand there are various people who die of hunger and laboriously work hard only to get a bite of rice. So I think Bitcoin cannot end world poverty. One person cannot change the world, the world must work together.

494  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: December 07, 2017, 02:15:06 AM
It could happen, maybe in the future. Indeed bitcoin users have spread across the country, and have changed many of their economies, but there are still countries that ban bitcoin as a means of transaction. But all possibilities can happen if bitcoin is really used in general.
Bitcoin is already a global currency, but it's secret and not official. Bitcoin itself is not the official currency of a country and nobody can control or manage Bitcoin alone. Maybe some countries can control Bitcoin with large mining companies. But it takes huge money capital and all countries can do it. There are also some countries that ban Bitcoin, and that is the reason why Bitcoin can not be called official global currency. We can use Bitcoin, but some of us should use Bitcoin in secret unlike dollar. I hope my country will use Bitcoin as a tool to increase economy in this country.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need more BTC forks? on: December 06, 2017, 06:58:58 AM
Everybody can fork the chain and go on their own way. Majority decides what is beneficial. Most forks are dumped in exchanges pretty quick anyway. More forks doesn't hurt real Bitcoin. I wouldn't complain about that. When people realize these forks are useless maybe they will stop doing that.

The answer to the OP question is definitely mixed. Some say that fork is useful for us to buy Bitcoin and start Bitcoin investment. But maybe there are some people who think that fork is harmful and they do not want fork anymore. Usually people who have invested into Bitcoin will not want any fork to happen and they just want price increases to happen on Bitcoin. There are also some people who panic when the fork, usually such people are newbie who is still new to the world of cryptocurrency. But for some people who work to get Bitcoin, fork is nothing because the payment is the same.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Get out of ethereum while you still can! on: December 06, 2017, 06:55:20 AM
I always had faith in ethereum and definitely still do. Ethereum will always have a good place among alt coins because of it's uniqe specialities. There for it will only get more valuable with time. I don't see any risk with ethereum in long term.
I do not have nothing against ethereum, I just hope people here in the forum did not bought at the all time high because right now I do not see how ETH is ever going to reach that price again, if you bought ethereum before that or right now when you can get a good price then that is fine, if you do that then you can hold ethereum for the long term and enjoy your profits.

I'd love to invest in Ethereum too, not just Bitcoin. But I'm confused because I can not afford to buy cryptocurrency. I can have Bitcoin just from the Signature Campaign I'm working on in this forum. I also want to work on Bounty who pays me with Ethereum. Is there a job that directly pays us with Ethereum without a token intercession? Hahaha, I guess I was too hopeful. But maybe someday in the future there will be many people who pay Bounty with Ethereum in this forum. Someday I will hold and invest Ethereum for a long time.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: right time to buy alts on: December 06, 2017, 06:48:46 AM
The market of altcoins seems to gradually recover. Slowly, everything begins to grow. But this is due to the fact that bitcoin is standing on the spot. After the 18th it will go up. Alta down again. Maybe the market now is get rid of the addiction to BITCOIN and will not be so responsive to its growth
Yes, slowly but surely I think, but not now. Bitcoin is still on the rise and people are bullish as to buy more and more bitcoins. If only there is a coin that can withstand Bitcoin's grip and be able to stand out on its own with its own following then I will that other route.

Actually I'm confused to answer what if given a question like this. To be honest there is not the best time to buy a cryptocurrency. While you can, you should collect cryptocurrency as much as possible. The price of each cryptocurrency is always up and the way to collect it becomes increasingly difficult. Therefore we must immediately collect while we still can. So if you can buy or collect now, then it should be you soon. You see the price of Bitcoin 3 years ago, and compare it with the current price. So also with the price of other cryptocurrency.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Rising on: December 06, 2017, 06:43:43 AM
Im believers of the ethereum and I have some ethereum and I will hold it for few years to make more profit. I think ethereum will become 1000 dollars in the next few years. Those people have ethereum it's better if you hold it for few years so we can make more profit in the future. I hope new investor will invest to the ethereum so we can make more profit.

I'm glad to hear it and I'm happy for you. I also have the same thoughts with you, I want to invest into Bitcoin and Ethereum. I used to see Bitcoin only, and did not want to see another cryptocurrency, but I now realize that Altcoin also has potential. Ethereum is the best Altcoin and suitable to be an investment solution after Bitcoin. I also had the idea that Ethereum could be a backup plan for Bitcoin so that when Bitcoin gets into trouble, we do not panic. We still have hope with the Ethereum investment.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum grow like bitcoin ? on: December 06, 2017, 06:37:51 AM
Etherum is extremely well ranked second after bitcoin. I think that Etherum can not replace bitcoin, but Etherum will have the same bitcoin as a solid base for the entire thriving crypto market. 2018 will be the strongest year for etherum.

Yes, Ethereum will follow in the footsteps of Bitcoin. The price of Ethereum will be the same as Bitcoin a few years ago. Maybe even Ethereum price will reach thousands of dollars someday. But to reach the Bitcoin price, I guess it will take a long time for Ethereum. The development of Bitcoin and Ethereum prices is very different. Bitcoin prices always go up quickly while Ethereum is not that fast. Maybe the price of Ethereum will reach $ 10,000 but it will take a very long time, even longer than Bitcoin. To accomplish one-tenth course can not.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Taxes on: December 05, 2017, 08:18:02 AM
It is really be a challenging part of the government if they want to imposed tax to all bitcoin holders, not only because of anonymity identity but also of some person that never tell the total amount they hold. And i believe that this taxation plan won't succeed is just because a lot of people will opposed to this and maybe it could just create a misunderstanding with the authorities and it can lead from banning cryptocurrency.

This is the uniqueness of Bitcoin, we do not have to deal with the government, we do not need to pay taxes, no transaction restrictions, no limit on the amount of money for transactions, no personal information such as name, age, and residence, Bitcoin is a true solution of freedom. But we need to know that, the country has enormous resources to take advantage of Bitcoin. If the state wants, they can find ways to monitor and control Bitcoin. Maybe the country will not be taxed from people who use Bitcoin, but actually the country can still use Bitcoin for profit if the country is willing to learn Bitcoin.
