481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How can I do Hodl or Quit on: February 06, 2018, 07:09:23 AM
HODL! Be patient and wait until crytos stabilize. Altcoins are just affected because of bitcoins dump. Sooner or later, it will go up again, just have more patience and courage to take the risk. You will not regret it if you do.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: February 03, 2018, 02:31:45 PM
Many of us here are saying, why is the cryptocurrencies market is getting a dump these days. Some are saying is because of the FuD, others are saying it is because of regulations laws in south Korea and India which is also child of FUD. But did you know that  when ever you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump and you are also attacking the blockchain technology!
Exactly! Almost all of us are complaining why bitcoin dumps, when it will rise again, is it dead now without realizing that we are the one making the price of bitcoin, so it is us who are making those prices and if we are not trusting this one, then how could it become successful? We should all unite together to create things based on our expectations/predictions by simply holding what we do have.

Yes indeed, the price of bitcoin depends on its market, and WE, people engaging in bitcoins and other cryptocurrency is that market that contributes to its price. Whenever it dumps, it's because of more people are selling their bitcoins, it's either because they need money or because of their panic that bitcoin might fall more and that it can't recover, but some of us don't know that we can also contribute for its price to pump up again which we wanted to happen. If we buy bitcoins now, price of bitcoins might rise again just like last year  or even more than that. So stop panic selling and hodl your BTCs and let's all enjoy bitcoin's recovery.  Grin
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm taking a break on: February 02, 2018, 02:11:11 PM
Last 6 months crypto has been more as an obsession than a hobby.
Fortunately I invested nothing except some money in mining equipment.

I'm going to uninstall all crypto tracking apps from my phone and pick up some good video games to keep me busy until my vacation which starts 25th Feb.
It's only too bad that my vacation money is in crypto. But I hope it will bounce back somewhat in early March so I don't have to sell half my portfolio.

Yeah, you should probably take a break. If you feel like keeping track in any cryptos and dealing with it that you feel like it's becoming an obsession than a hobby and past time, it's really not helping you right now. You really need to have time for yourself and rest for a couple of days or weeks and be free from stress crypto world is giving you. With the price of crytocoins especially BTC, we can't deny the fact that somehow, we feel worried about the future of cryptos and also wanting to buy more now that it is in its dipping price and yes you really need a break from all of it. Feel free from stress and enjoy doing other things than monitoring cryptos. Just come back with clear mind and enjoy profits when BTCs price recovers anytime sooner.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm so happy this is happening! on: February 02, 2018, 01:46:59 PM
I always kind of hoped that one day all the fair weather fans would start to wander off. The folks would lose interest and forget why Bitcoin got to where it is today. It blew up so fast that I worried I'd never be able to acquire Bitcoin but it seems a miracle has happened. Everyone in this space now has no idea what the point even is!

Smiley It's terrific, before Bitcoin hits 100k and eventually a million a whole new wave of noobs are coming and going driving the price back up and then eventually leaving. You guys know this exact thing already happened right? The people that get Bitcoin keep stock piling, everyone else loses interest time passes and it explodes up again.

Anyway, thanks to everyone that contributed to bring the price down. I truly appreciate it and it was good having you around for a while. Smiley

Well it will never happen if it's not because of the help of this newbies who wanted to earn money instantly. Let's thank them for making this happen. Now we can buy bitcoins as much as we want and wait patiently until bitcoin rises again. Bitcoin is still taking it's time to correct it's market price and anytime sooner, we can enjoy with its skyrocket price which can leave other people regretting selling their bitcoins just because they panicked and got bored waiting for bitcoin's recovery. It's always the one who's taking courage gets rewards at the end.
485  Other / Meta / Re: How to avoid useless posts ? on: February 02, 2018, 05:42:31 AM
The thing is, some Member rank and even up to Sr Member rank also post useless reply for signature bounty sake.
Merit will definitely help for accounts level Jr Member and below but those with Member rank and above, I don't see Merit as an effective solution to get rid of useless post from existing higher ranked member.

It might not be and that's why there are other options being looked in to, such as the trusted members of the forum being able to tag accounts as spammers, that's just one of many suggestions you'll find looking through the meta section. There's no solution that's going to work for everything but merit should at least be a start.

it seems merit is not collusion proof. I dont know the solution other than more mods.. but that doesnt seem to be sustainable
Of course it's not, and especially on bitcointalk where 30% of accounts are alts and 80% are garbage shitposters.  But at least it's a system that might do some good.

I've been at odds with these scumsucking boogerbags since day one, and there's no perfect way to combat shitposting short of eliminating sig campaigns--and that won't happen.   So report shitposts when you see them and give out merit to people who actually deserve it.

Merit can't really be a solution to eliminate or reduce shit posts but it can delay ranking up of forum members who are making shit posts just to reach quotas in signature campaigns. I think this merit thing is really useful to people who exert effort in posting replies with constructive words and they really deserve to rank up by giving them merit points but, totally eliminating shit posts is really hard to do and yes reporting shit posts are the only solution to lessen shit posts as well as shit posters.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of crypto? on: February 02, 2018, 02:29:50 AM
Bitcoin will not die just because of countries and governments banning bitcoin, its transactions and everything about it. Market will always find ways to get what they want, and if they want to keep investing in bitcoin, they will do everything to make it happen. Bitcoin from the very start is unstable, it keeps growing and falling. Not a single day we can't see any difference with its price. It grows continuously in days and falls as well. This is how it works. But we all know that bitcoin always rise and grow after falling and this, we hope so will soon happen after this continuous fall.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2018, 02:48:00 AM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

Yes, I believe that there are lot of people who thinks that they will get rich in an easy way by just engaging with crypto currencies which is really possible, but what they don't know is that they should exert effort and patience for it to happen. Some people thinks that if they make small amount of effort, they  can become millionaires already which is impossible. Some gets bored if they don't see any changes with their lives and cryptos which they invested in where what they tend to do is to just sell their cryptos and stop investing in it. What they didn't know is that this cryto (whatever crypto is it) has really potential to change their life but because of lack of patience, left it which they might regretted later. So yes the key to success is to have patience and have faith in cryptos to invested in. Have a good choice and be smart enough for someone to reach his/her dream of becoming rich with the help of cyrptos.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin became more popular in 2017 on: January 31, 2018, 10:39:28 AM
Yes, i agree bitcoin became more popular in 2017. More people get interested to invest in bitcoin especially that it reaches $20,000, from then, they believe that bitcoin has lot of potential to increase it's price more than anyone expected. Now that bitcoin is back to its dumping price, (well we can't  consider$10k and $11k are dumping prices, but compare to $20k, it can be considered to have much lower price that's why we can also considered it as dumoing) and now, as more and more people are hooked to join and invest in bitcoin, more and more countries are also banning bitcoin for that they think that these people who wants to make money with the help of bitcoin can't be controlled and with this, government are threatened that's why they prefer to ban it than to support it.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 26, 2018, 01:52:53 AM
I don't think ICO will die.  ICO helps cryptoworld. If it's not because of them, their will be no circulating altcoins right now. They are promoting products that can can generate more cryptos. They also help people to have good investments with the help of their bounty programs that gives chances to people to earn money. What ICO needed is to remove scam ICOs and the quality should be improved.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is stuck at $10k dollars, what is wrong with you people? on: January 26, 2018, 01:14:20 AM
Because bitcoin reaches $20k last year, they think that it's price will always be like that. They should know that bitcoin doesn't stay at its high price if that's what they wanted. They should be aware that BTCs price is unstable and yes it may be $10k for now, but compare to other investment out there, I think it can still make good profit. And also we know that bitcoin will always recover, we just have to wait and be patient.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Reliability and perspective of cryptocurrencies? on: January 25, 2018, 11:06:54 AM
Do analysis of mainstream analysts about development and the future of cryptocurrencies serve to make confusion and create suspicion in the reliability and perspective of the cryptocurrencies?

Some analysis given by these analysts are useful and reliable while others are just merely nonsense. Some of them really know cryptocurrencies, they might also be trying and using cryptos that's why they can make their opinions and analysis about it. But also their are analysts who know nothing about crytocurrencies. They only share their opinions for them to show that they are aware and that they know about innovation that is happening to technology, just  like using cryptos, but the truth is they don't really know anything about it. They just give their analysis for them to confuse and yes, to give suspicion about cryptocurrencies.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stupid millionaire or risk to be Billionaire ? on: January 24, 2018, 01:36:08 PM
if you had many bitcoins now, do you sell them or hold?

remember if you sell now and :
Price drop : you will be lucky millionaire.
price goes up later : you will be stupid millionaire.

if you don't sell now and :
Price drop : you will be broken.
price goes up later : you will be Billionaire

If I got to have many bitcoins, I will do both. I will sell half of it and hold the other half. I know becoming billionaire is really awesome and exciting but I don't want to be all in in investing in bitcoin. I don't wanna take the risk of investing all of my bitcoin for the future, although I believe in bitcoin, we still don't know what might happen to it in future, it may rise, it may also fall and it would be sad if bitcoin price fall.
493  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pollution on: January 24, 2018, 12:56:49 PM
Yes I agree that technology mainly contributes in pollution here in our planet. Because of technology, inventions are made and this inventions are the main contributors of pollution, especially vehicles. Smoke coming from vehicles causes air pollution. Even establishments that produce smokes and chemicals which goes to our atmosphere are the reason why we are now experiencing global warming. Also, not only air are polluted because of this technology, but also our water resources and our land.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is banned by the government on: January 24, 2018, 03:40:12 AM
I think the reason why bitcoin is being banned by governments is because they feel threatened for bitcoins being decentralized. It only means that government can't control it and I think this the reason why they ban bitcoin. If people keeps investing in bitcoin, government would not be able to control these people, know their transactions, if they're doing illegal things or what.
495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We are not the owners of this planet. on: January 23, 2018, 01:55:49 PM
Humans may have totally over taken the planet earth but that doesn't means that we are the owners of this planet. Being the most intelligent species comes with responsibilities. We have urbanized this planet. n other words we have destroyed the home of many species. Biodiversity is way more important for our survival than we realize.  We should let other live if not for them but ourselves.
It is true, some of us - humans think that we own this planet and that we have rights to do whatever we want with this , even destroying it. Everything here in our planet, even us is made by our creator, God. He made us superiors from all other creatures and he gave us knowledge for us to take good care of this planet, and not to destroy it like what's happening right now.
And yes we should know how to take good care of our planet. It's not yet late, if we start today, we can still save our planet, we can still save everyone. We need to change in order to save our planet, and this change must start with ourselves. Let's be discipline enough to know what's good for our planet Earth.
496  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to break teenage video game addiction on: January 22, 2018, 02:13:50 AM
If we don't want children to be addicted in video games, we should have disciplined them from the very start. We should have given them time limitations in using gadgets. Like what they've said, PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.
Addiction is really hard to stop especially if a person doesn't want to change his/her lifestyle. What you can do to help them stop is to help them redirect their attentions to different things just like sports and other activities that might be useful and worth it for them. Discipline them by confescating their gadgets if they don't want to stop playing video games.
497  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIRGINITY before getting married on: January 21, 2018, 09:20:57 AM
Most of people now a days thinks that virginity is not really important. That it is part of a relationship and that it is normal to do it with the one you love but for me it matters and it is important. Some man wants to be married to the woman they love and knowing that they haven't lost their virginity yet, tend to love, treasure and respect them more.
498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading or working in signature campaigns? on: January 19, 2018, 02:18:40 AM
Right now, I am doing signature campaigns and still waiting for my tokens. After I get my tokens, I'll try investing in other coins and I also want to try trading. I want to learn how to do day trading to make big profits where I can double my money. I want to do both. I want to explore the world of crypto to earn money for my future.
499  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 10:01:12 AM
What I would want to do with my bitcoins is to keep hodling and investing it. If ever bitcoins price is to dump again, I would grab this opportunity to buy bitcoins and keep hodling it till it reach skyrocket which can give me better life for my family and for my future. I would also want to make business with my profits in bitcoins that transactions are done with the use of bitcoin so I can make more bitcoins from that business.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: 99% of the people still think that fiat money are better than crypto on: January 18, 2018, 09:43:05 AM
I think bitcoin has also its disadvantages and only fiat money can fulfill that disadvantage. Some people can't be force to use cryptocurrencies for the reason that some of them do not really know what bitcoin is, and some may know and are using it but still as what I've said earlier, bitcoin has its disadvantages and one of them is that, it can't be use anywhere, anytime. Transactions with the use of bitcoin can't be done without internet and also it can't be use in daily lives just buying a piece of something in a grocery store. Fiat on the other hand can be used in that instead of crypto. Also people who doesn't have gadgets like beggars and poor people can't afford to use bitcoin/altcoins as a currency, even old people, it would be hard for them to use it as well.
