You're a newbie first you should study all of knowledge about CryptoCurrency as: what is bitcoin? what is Ethereum? Blockchain, Altcoins..... This will help to understand the way cryptocurrency is working after you have to determine that what do you want to do with cryptocurrency? This is quite able to happen in the future because nothing is forever exist in the life. If it's appear a coin which have technology is better, surpasses bitcoin then it will instead bitcoin, same as Yahoo when Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo because technology of google is better yahoo. Bitcoin is first digital money which can use to instead of cash in the future but if bitcoin can't prove advantages its with human then it will be disappeared.

I think to dogecoin reach $1 is very difficult because if dogecoin reach $1 then its marketcap is $134 billions but it can still happen, in 2009 bitcoin price was $0.005 and no one could be imagined that now is $6700. Patience is key in crypto, but must be made with real Projects. Waves needed like year to show price like we see now. Same with Lisk, ARK needed months also. If you don't have a lot of money i would go for saving. If you have money you can invest. For me investing is good because you sell and earn like a pro. I invest mostly on altcoins.
Altcoins have a huge potential because they are cheaper than bitcoin itself.
Investing into Altcoins are the risky investment that can bring big profit and you can rich faster but also make loss all your money. At the moment many altcoins rise everyday and how to avoid bad altcoins which make you loss your money this is a big problem you said that If you didn't have a lot of money i would go for saving but i advise you should invest even if you have little money because saving until you have a lot money is too long. you should divide your money into two parts, a part use to saving and a part use to investing |

if investment is long term my viewpoint will choose Ethereum because:
View price charts bitcoin in 2017 we see bitcoin increased from $1000(on jan, 2017) up $7000 (at the moment) same time Ethereum also increased from $9 up $300, mean if you had invested to Ethereum on Jan, 2017 you would have got bigger profit you invest to bitcoin.
The price of Bitcoin is $7000 and i guess it will equivalent $13,000 in 2018 but i believe the price of Ethereum will pass $1000 even $1500 in 2018

if you dont want to waste time with a bad project then i advise you always do this. Now many bounties campaign (twitter, signature..) which you join it will pay for participate by bitcoin weekly but a lot of member still join to bounties campaign which will pay by token because they expected to get bigger profit when they join to a new project You should read whitepaper of project which you want to participating, research dev team, product, token before participating any project |

hallo guys, i am new to trading btc. and days before the bitcoin gold fork, i was advice to sell my btc (which i did) because it was suspected to drop in price few days to come. But surprisingly, from then till this very moment, btc has been on a continuous rise. now btc is at $7000+ and we are getting close to the next fork in mid-nov. DO YOU GUYS ADVICE I BUY BACK BTC AT THIS CURRENT PRICE OR WAIT for a possible drop in price?
When i research the price charts bitcoin in 2017, bitcoin is into strong uptrend and i feel to regret for you sold bitcoin. Bitcoin will continue to increasing the price but i think it will adjust down $6500 - $6800 on some next day. So i advice you should not buy at the moment |

As i know you almost can buy altcoins with FIAT money, you only buy altcoins with bitcoin or ethereum so you should use your FIAT money buy bitcoin after deposit to exchange site which like bittrex, poloniex.... and use bitcoin to buy altcoins that you want |
