Australia once again threw away a very good chance of getting to a big score. From 206/2, they have now collapsed to 268/6. Their middle order has failed once again. Wade/Green/Paine made a total of 14 runs between them. Cameron Green was very impressive during the warmup matches, but I don't know what happened to him after that. He has performed poorly, both in the batting and bowling departments.
After a long partnership it is very common to lose wickets in quick session so we can't blame much and the credit goes to Jadeja who took wickets early and put OZ under pressure which was later shattered by pace attack. As I predicted OZ reached 320+ and only one wicket remaining in OZ but the bad thing is Smith is still holding his bat in the middle.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 08, 2021, 02:17:59 AM
Wow Jadeja gets the another, first Marnus now Wade..
Jadeja is getting more impressive these days, he strikes two good batsmen, and the one who is middling the balls right from the start now only the wicket of Smith will be the target by Indians. As of now Bumrah and Siraj attacking the batsmen with aggressive fielding like slips and gully hope they will find another one and will restrict the OZ with something under 320 then IND will be much happy.

Don't know much about the project particularly but based on the things you said they aren't a complete scam but it doesn't mean it can be successful. Even a 100% legit project can become an utter failure if it is not actually a convincing idea.If I was in your situation then I won't have any hope on that token anymore just will look for other coins to add into my portfolio.

After such a horrible start, Australia managed to reach 166/2. I wasn't impressed with his performance during the warmup matches, but today he handled the Indian bowlers really well (aided by some poor fielding from the other side). Now it is up to the top Australian partnership of Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. Tomorrow we will get an idea about which way this match is going to swing.
If Indian batting able to handle situation then most chances we are going with Draw option otherwise after watching today fielding its going to be for Australia because if you are dropping catches then you have nothing to do just wait for some big burden of runs and feel pressure like Pakistan done few days back.
AUS is going to post a huge total I guess, if the rain didn't stop the play then probably they might be unbeaten at 300+. Two new test bowlers managed to get each wicket still the line up looks weak against such a huge record team on a particular venue.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Very serious Question the New money system on: January 07, 2021, 06:12:14 AM
There will be no new money system maybe the government will change the banking system but the controlled fiat money is what make the economy of every government alive, only people may consider using the decentralized cryptos which makes the paper money to go worthless. Will there be such a scenario in the next 50 years?
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 07, 2021, 02:14:20 AM
Before match summary itself stated that there is very less chance for the match to get completed. As per the present weather forecast we can expect the match to end in a draw or it goes completely a one sided match for the home team.

Lunch has been taking earlier and the extra 30 minutes will be rewarded before the end of the day if there is any gameplay left for today. As of now, the weather is still the same and it's raining so even if the rain stops now it will take an hour before the match resumes. OZ has great records against India on this ground but it is not the real issue now, if we can see the full game lay for the remaining days then results can be achieved for sure.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 07, 2021, 12:37:24 AM
No movement at all so far in Sydney and ball coming at bat nicely, it's clearly a batting track but David Warner looked in hurry and threw away his wicket, poor guy..

I am expecting big totals here.
Rain stopped the play too early, don't know how this day is going to be because the clouds are still dark so possible for more drizzle in Sydney. Warner came back after a break and threw his wicket too early to Siraj. Good start for India hope they will continue the things as of now if the game resumes.
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: The profit in Bitcoin hodling/holding on: January 06, 2021, 01:05:19 PM
Gold also has continuous supply, the continuous supply is one of the reasons that make the an asset not to increase in value the way it suppose to because supply decrease asset value while demand increase it.

if you split the gold PRICE in half. you will then have a rough idea of supply vs demand

if it takes ~$900 to mine gold. then no one. no where would dare sell gold for less then they mined it. as thats stupid
however the other $1242 'speculation' half is volatile based on demand.
obviously with gold mines and factories shut down due to covid lockdowns in spring 2020 this created a speculative demand for gold. but most gold miners had cheap diesel and those able to mine had less cost.
its estimated that some miners previously averaging a $900 cost in 2019 were getting a $600 cost in 2020
but with less miners. the speculation demand pushed up the profits for those miners.
they basically had a $900 cost and a $1800 sell (100% profit) but in 2020 at $600 cost and $2100 sell.(250% profit)

in short this $2100 is a bubble.

bitcoin mining can also show the same dynamics. and although there is a good underlying cost that prevents bitcoin going to 0 unless mining cost went to 0. you can work out how much of the speculative zone is inside the price to work out when things are just a slight inflated value or a entire bubble inflation amount

right now the mining costs are $16k-19k depending on if hardware is s9-T19
so only 100% profit.
Clear overview about mining cost in 2020 so unlikely any new miner comes to mine now due to the expense factor because domestic power charges are actually higher it's even a lot higher on certain regions along with air conditioning and regular maintenance will make it less profitable.SO the term halving itself used for the speculation which keeps boosting the prices up after every halving event.

I think the bounties were already distributed to every participants so they all are waiting for the listing or deposit to open so once they began surely they will be dumping their coins for a while. I actually don't know the idea and team behind the project but it was one of very few project which successfully managed to raise enough funds so possibly the team can take this to the success level.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 06, 2021, 08:41:45 AM
My guess was that if Pakistan could not take any of NZ's wickets in the first session of the third day, then Pakistan would lose the match by an innings. And I told it before. What I thought happened. Pakistan lost not only by an innings, but they also lost by a huge margin of innings and 176 runs. This is their fourth defeat in terms of innings and huge runs. Their biggest defeat was against England, that was an inning and 225 runs.
In the last 2 or 3 years, pakistan was on the losing side by biggest margin, saw some tweet yesterday which said pakistan was the opponent when team scored highest run in an innings on a test match. Is it actually true?
491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice - What wallet for iphone/ios? Electrum is not supported?? on: January 06, 2021, 04:43:57 AM
Coinomi is one of the good alternatives and easy use interface so anyone can get used to UI in real soon so the best choice for beginners when they are newbies. There are some others like Mycellium and Jaxx liberty but these apps are unstable and full of bugs so it may get us pissed while using those wallets.

Kiwis and Proteas are literally bullying Pakistan and Sri Lanka respectively.
And look at that home track bully Kane Williamson (JK) lol, scoring double tons for fun nowadays Grin

Not a good sign for test cricket. Even test matches involving teams outside the big 3 are getting lop-sided now. South Africa literally destroyed Sri Lanka. But this same South Africa will lose by a big margin, if they play against any of the big 3 teams. I am gradually losing my interest in test cricket. What is the point in watching such one sided matches? Only the matches involving big 3 teams are interesting nowadays.
Those two team failed to produce good quality players in the last few years that is the reason why these teams are struggling now but its all part of their cricket journey. Soon these teams will find someone who can lift the confidence among the other players and that is why lot of domestic leagues were conducted all around the world.
I think Pakistan is still fine they just are not able to get a stable team but talking about Sri Lanka their future is absolutely disastorous. The problem with Sri Lanka is that there are no senior players in the team to guide the junior guys who are coming in. All the big guns vanished from the team all of a sudden. I think the 2011 World Cup Sri Lankan team was the last best team from Sri Lanka after the retirement of Sanga, Jayawardane, Murali and Dilshan the team can't even be compared to our India-A team. They have a pretty dark future lying ahead of them I feel soon Afghanistan(if they can part ways with terrorism and such conflicts) would become a better cricketing nation than Sri Lanka.
Lot of political issues are also one of the main reason why they can't be able to find the talented players. I will never agree with the smaller population means less talented people because talented people were refused to given chance for various reasons which is also exist in most of the cricket boards.

World cup team in 2011 was the best team for Sri Lanka and after that as well they had some good players still Sri Lankan cricket board dropped some of them after few failures.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Discussion thread for non-paid, non-listed ended bounties. on: January 05, 2021, 04:11:24 PM
Actually it is a great initiative and it is not possible to list all the bounties which didn't pay the hunters by a single person because there are hundreds of bounties that will be launched every day and it same goes for the bounties which are about to end. So if possible one who is constantly doing bounties should repost it here so OP can be updated with a combined list of all.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 05, 2021, 03:29:38 PM
Picked all three because actually, I do all of them.  Used to spend my earning from signature campaign to gamble on different platforms not just only on the platform which I am wearing the signature but most of the time I choose to HODL it in my wallet and actually not gambling on casino games for a while now apart from sport bets.

496  Economy / Economics / Re: Loan scam in India allegedly headed by a Chinese Narional on: January 05, 2021, 08:52:33 AM
When it comes to China vs india do these people just realize that they are making wrong mistakes not just it would cost them years in jail but also have fights ivey them in nations.
Scams are really common thank you for sharing your news. I do think that the most simple minded people do get caught up in things like these but now they have the guy I do hope something can be done to return the money of those poor people.

Easy loans always have hidden agenda butbthe financial status of the people get them trapped in such traps and en up paying huge or even giving up their life. Heard that those loan apps taken sensitive data like private photos, contacts and call history of someone who took loan which was later used to blackmail the defaulters. I think this should be taken care if government since it looks like exceeding the limits given by government.

There is no such thing like easy loans!!!
You need to trust banks more in this case.

If you take a look at those particular loan apps, they don't need any collateral all they need is your KYC documents which can be given by anyone who doesn't even have any job. But these apps will take some amount for the interest which is a huge amount compared to the loan we are taking and the remaining one will go into the bank account and the loan money should be paid full in a certain time like one week or 10 days if not then the issues will start to raise for the defaulter. But in banks, they will give the full loan amount and collect the interest rate along with the capital only.

Kane Williamson is slowly closing on his double hundred against Pakistan, and New Zealand is approaching a total of 500 (right now they are at 487/5). I was expecting a better performance from the Pakistani bowlers, after their good showing with the bat. But they look out of sorts and incapable of taking the wickets (even with supportive ground conditions). It is going to be an innings defeat for Pakistan.
NZ scored 659 before they declare their innings, Williamson played exceptionally and scored 238 in an innings. Now pakistan trail by 354 runs and they already lost One of their opener before the stumps. Two days are still remaining so its an impossible task for PAK to draw or win this match.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't ask about the price. No one knows! on: January 03, 2021, 06:16:41 PM
No one knows what will happen in future so literally no one can say what will happen to the prices which is not limited with bitcoin alone. Some people acts bullish and trying to increase the prices as much as they can on the other hand Fudsters started to buzz about the buzz when price reached from 30K to 35K in no time. Everyone should have their own analysis about price movement and hold or sell accordingly, just don't be a product to someone's trap.

500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why did Funfair do a HUGE spike on Jan 1st? on: January 03, 2021, 04:39:03 PM
Just by looking at the trading volume with total market cap then we can easily identify that it was a man-made bump like a whale or some exchange did that intentionally and now again the price went back to the original value as before. No need to give too much attention to every coin's movement because the simple analysis can differentiate the dump and bump action is real or just a trap.
The only reason me and my friend wanted to know what happened, is I have over a million FUN, and he has over 3 million!
Would have been a life-changing sum for him if he had cashed out near the max price yesterday - but he was unaware - so to say he is a bit peed-off is a gross understatement! Sad

Thanks to everyone who replied!

When you are holding such a huge amount of tokens then you should be watching the prices all time or at least set the price tracker notification so you will get a notification once you see a certain range of bump or dump in the prices so you can act before the moment goes away.

And why you get pissed off? if you are holding means you have belief in the coin/token so it means having the potential to grow further right?
