I guess it can't go to 50$ until the end of this year. But it may go to 50$ in a year, probably after the bitcoin halving. Bnb-binance, they are doing incredible buildings and adding new features all the time. Lending, airdrops, IEOs, burns, futures etc, these will drive the price up for sure but it may not very soon such as the end of this year.
I also think that the BNB cannot cost $ 50 when Bitcoin is cheaper than $ 10,000. Now, when next year Bitcoin will be $ 20,000, then the BNB has a chance to rise to $ 50. |

The key thing for me I think is market confidence. Alts only surge when confidence is really high, such as the back end of 2017. If confidence is lower, then people hedge their bets and buy BTC as the safest and least volatile crypto. The long bear market may have ebnded, but it still casts a long shadow in terms of the effect on investor confidence. It may be some time before confidence returns to really high levels and creates an alt surge. But BTC price impacts this, too. As BTC price goes up, confidence grows, and the higher it goes the more the alts look undervalued and more of a bargain. So I think an alt surge is largely confidence-driven, but BTC price is the main thing that impacts this confidence level.
If the price situation depends directly on the level of confidence, then we only need to wait until the level of confidence is very large. I think that in 2 years the situation will definitely change for the better. |

We don't really understand what happened. Bitcoin suddenly grew but the alts did not, and even decreased. I think the reason is that sharks are trying to buy more bitcoins, so this happened. The alts have suffered a lot from the sell-offs of high money investors.
How about the more logical reason that all these alts were pumped too high and too fast during socalled alt season and ICO frenzy? How could most tokens that came out from nowhere and were not even used by anyone be valued so highly? Because they had nothing more than pumps,,, plain and simple, that is all. Yes, indeed on Altcoins we now see good and real prices. The prices that were at their peak in 2017, these were very high prices. The last time bitcoin reached it's ATH a lot pf altcoins suffered. The reason must be, some people sold their altcoin to invest in bitcoin. Once bitcoin price settles, investors goes back to their alts, so it slowly recovers.
I also think that without Altcoins, the cryptocurrency market cannot be liquid and will develop further. Altcoins are an integral part of the entire cryptocurrency market. |

If you do not want changes, then you need to invest in the TOP 10 cryptocurrency market coins. Then of course it will be a fairly reliable investment and your coins will have good liquidity. TOP coins of the cryptocurrency market now have not the lowest prices this year. in January there were lower prices. But other Altcoins now have the lowest prices, lower than they were at the beginning of this year. |

if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
According to my own experience if btc drops, the same happens to most of alts, only a few are not affected, the best time to trade alts is when btc is stabilized, also traders buy stable coins when btc drops. Currently it exists a project called mintMe where traders and investors can deal with entrepenuers by buying custom tokens that belongs to a particular project, this tokens can be created at the same mintMe platform. That's because of money coming into the market. In order to buy alts, you pretty much need Bitcoin. Sure, there's exchanges with USD listings, but you're still going to trade for Bitcoin then trade the Bitcoin to get the alts. This is why when you see the Bitcoin market cap up higher, all the alts also seem to be going up in price as well. That's right, BTC dominance is still too high, so for trading alts we always must check out BTC graphs before buying any alts Over the past 2-3 weeks, the price of altcoins has not fallen so much and I'm sure that we are now seeing the lowest prices this year. I choose Altcoins that are not in the TOP-20. |

I think this could be like you said because the price condition of bitcoin which is not too good anymore makes traders disappointed because before Bitcoin is said there will be bakt that makes prices go up but instead it is only FUD so many traders are more turning to altcoin to try to take advantage of the moment on altcoin.

Preferences, features, geographic conditions, and many can change these options. As a result, we live in a free-market economy. Each coin has its own characteristics. Diversity always means better competition, and we live in a period of tough competition.
Some altcoins may disappear but I don't think it would be as big as 99%.

Personally I trade manually. I agree that crypto trading bots could make great profit, but only for experienced crypto trader. It depends on how strategically the bot is set up as bot can only generate profit for one who knows how exactly to use the bot.
Bots must win money from someone, I think that most bots work mainly on commission fees for exchanges. Bots in principle cannot earn on the cryptocurrency market on a large scale. |

I don't like Libra for having a centralized network but I like how it is pissing many regulators from different countries. Should it be halted? I don't think so but that's not for us to decide. Some countries will ban them for sure but so much money has already been poured into this project and stopping is no longer an option for them.

yup! i think you are right. i also see that the crypto market is still full of investors, old investors and new investors. so as you say now crypto will not go to zero and i hope it will continue to last for a long time. and while the market still has value, i think, we should be able to collect more profit from each coin we have chosen. Things like that won't happen to ripple. Knowing the secret team behind ripple will speak louder than whatsoever we post here. Ripple will contend with Libra coin because the big giants believed in ripple for privacy than; getting into Libra coin without privacy protection. Centralized tokens will take turn to be patronized in the nearest future because, they will be the favorite for the government to control. Ripple will not die just like others did in the past, those behind ripple are more like the government, then, why will it die?
I also think that ripple is quite strong and liquid. The team that promotes ripple will not give up and will still show a high price for the coin. |
