How is it possible adsense have banned all big faucet and not this ? I'm happy for this, because i love freebitco.in and his lottery, but have any explanation ?
ps, the lottery end from 2 hour, 2,5 btc for first prize

...and so far not this one...adsense is never in a hurry to ban...

freebitco has decreased the minimum earning from 800 to 500...
this is perhaps a foreplan that they couls be banned...

The reward was always based on the bitcoin price and because the price is higher now, the rewards are lower.

We are a premium publisher with adsense for more than 5 years now, if there is a problem with the website our rep lets us know and we fix it. Only new (and maybe non-premium) publishers get their accounts disabled if there is a problem.

How came the negative balance? Your website hacked?
-0.00280359 BTC

We deleted the accounts of some bot users and deducted the referral commissions that you made from these users.
If you are using a proxy connection for anonymity does not mean it's bots

Must I pay for my referrals?
280,000 divided by 500 sat an hour is shown as banners on the site and how much you earned 1,000 impressions for $ 0.25
And but i am must pay for this chet?

Show where these bots to buy, or you have seen in YouTube?

280 000 разделить по 500 сат в час  это сколько баннеров показано на сайте и сколько вы заработали на 1000 показов за 0,25 $

Покажите где таких ботов приобрести, или вы в ютубе увидели?

The accounts were not deleted for using a proxy, a user is deleted only after we have sufficient evidence that they are cheating, our detection algorithm is pretty lenient. You were already paid commissions for these fraudulent claims which was simply taken out from your account, we have not penalized you in any way.

How the bots can bypass capthca and how you detected it ? If that bot can be use at freebitco, other faucet also will not be safe

I have a multi-step bot detection setup that is continuously improved. Even after doing this we have probably lose $10,000's to bots. Unfortunately I cannot give details about how bots are detected as that would defeat the purpose because botters would improve their ways to avoid getting detected.

486  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitGold.com IS COMPLETELY SCAM on: December 29, 2015, 12:06:31 PM
They haven't paid me over $2k in affiliate commissions that I had earned a couple of months ago. I tried chasing it up with them but never got a reply back. My affiliate account is still active and shows the $2k as paid but never received it to my BitGold account (verified my account like they asked so the problem was not from my end). Literally forgot about it until now and had marked them down as a scam or maybe eventually planning to scam.
487  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 29, 2015, 05:47:28 AM
...
I do not understand the recent fascination with people wanting to collect 800 or 1,000 satoshi every hour by hitting faucets. That was never my intention with freebitco.in. I always made it to be a place where people could have a bit of fun and play for a shot at winning a significant prize. The low rewards are in place simply so that if you do not win a big prize, you at least get something.

Well, if that's your goal, why not tweaking the payout structure to increase chances of winning anything higher than basic payout? Say, something between 10-20% instead of current 1.14%.

Judging on my referred list, it looks like most people would click few times and then let it go. Giving higher chance of winning even just slightly higher amount could give a small psychological boost to the users and could help maintain active users base.

Just my suggestion. It's your site and your decision.

Increasing the rewards would not be possible under the current circumstances because as it stands, the ad revenue that we get is not enough to pay the free play rewards which is currently subsidized due to the multiplier. So unless we get much larger multiplier volumes, we cannot pay more that what we currently are.

Maybe users would prefer to have a larger shot at winning $20 with no chance of winning $200. It is too much of a risk to adjust the payout tiers directly so I would need to run some tests to get a better idea of what kind of prizes people would prefer to win.
488  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 22, 2015, 05:06:32 AM
The increased rewards are only for 24 hours (actually 48 hours since it took 24 hours to just email the users who had been active in the last 15 days).

Although the minimum reward that we give might be lower than some other faucets, the average amount that we give per roll is much much higher due to the chance of winning the bigger prizes. I don't think users would like it if we increased the lower rewards permanently at the cost of reducing the bigger rewards. As the price of bitcoin has gone up, although the rewards have gone down, page views to the website and the number of free plays have actually increased more than 50%. We now get more than 1.5 million page views and more than 500,000 free plays a day. Although it may not seem like much to users, every 100 satoshi increase in the lowest prize actually costs us 0.5 bitcoin a day which at current prices is about $225, costing $6,750 a month which is not a small amount of money.

Increasing the smallest reward by 50% did not do anything to our traffic (number of free plays actually decreased a bit) which confirms my belief that people use our site not to collect a few hundreds or thousands of satoshi but for the chance to win big. A few thousand satoshi, although better than nothing, does not do much for the user and only makes money for the referrer. However the chance to win big prizes is what brings the users back to our website.

Sorry for the late reply, I was not getting notifications for this topic.

I don't think people would like it if they were asked to play 8 times to get a ticket, I would get a whole bunch of emails regarding that.

The ticket numbering system is something that I had though of earlier as well but it would not hep in any way to make the game provably fair. I could just as easily pick the winning number to be a ticket of someone who I would like to win. The number picking cannot be made provably fair even here due to the variable number of tickets in each round.

Making the game provably fair is certainly possible I think, just that I haven't figured out how yet. I am a bit busy with stuff now but I shall have more time in a couple of weeks to think about it and maybe I will be able to figure it out then.

Why not change the lottery to a number game? Make the lottery tickets slightly more expensive {Let's say for instance = to 8 x daily faucet rewards} You could then have the

system generate numbers for each ticket, and it would be displayed to the user on his profile. The people would need to visit the faucet 8 times per day to buy 1 lottery ticket to be

able to enter the round. {This would increase the visits to the site} The lottery numbers are fed into a single pool and 10 are drawn. This way, players can visually see that they

have been entered into the draw. {Logs could be placed online of all the qualifying numbers entered into the draw} This is a bit more transparent... hope my suggestion makes sense.  Huh
490  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: November 03, 2015, 06:31:49 PM
I am fine with that, and the code being posted... the question with most of these Lottery games are... How can we be 100% sure that it's that code being used, when the

winners are drawn. You could have a valid and legit code, used for proof and a separate manual method to select the winners you pre selected? This is how most rigged lottery

systems work. There is no verification for the users that the winners are drawn from the same code, they give as proof. I am not saying you are doing the same, because you

have a lot to lose, and the 1 to 2 BTC you would score from this in comparison to your total profit you get from this faucet, is but a mere drop in the pond. I would not risk

losing my reputation and a great profit from the site, over a rigged lottery.  Roll Eyes Have you thought of any method to verify winners?  Something similar to the way you prove the

PROVABLY FAIR HI-LO game or asking some reputable person or company to verify it?

B.t.w congratulations on reaching the 7 BTC mark from donations from this faucet. It's awesome what you doing.  Wink

I understand the concern and would actually like to put in a provably fair system in place because many users have the same concern with the lottery. That being said, I still haven't figured out a way to make it provably fair because the total number of tickets changes every week. If the total was fixed, winning numbers could be pre-selected and hashed before the round starts to make it fair. However, in the current state I do not have any ideas for making it provably fair but am always open to suggestions.

Only other way would be to have a lotto type of system where the users select 6 numbers but there are many referrers who haven't logged into their account for over a year but are still getting paid and accumulating tickets in each round. It would be unfair to ask such users to have to log in every week.

Also 95%+ of the tickets in each round are given out for free to users for free plays and referrals so the prizes for each round mostly come out of my pocket. So there isn't anything that I could gain by rigging the system because it's not like the lottery actually makes any money. It's just a bonus to encourage users to keep playing.
491  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: November 02, 2015, 08:03:05 AM
Let me try to explain how it works using the code that is used in perl to select the winners. There is a database table created for every active round containing the user id's and the corresponding number of tickets they have in that round. Then once the round ends, 2 arrays are created - @userids containing all the user id's and @tickets containing all the tickets. This is done by going through the table record by record and using the following code:

Code:
my $user_tickets = $db->SelectARef("SELECT userid, tickets FROM lottery_active_tickets WHERE round=?", $current_round);
foreach (@$user_tickets)
{
push @userids, $_->{userid};
push @tickets, $_->{tickets};
}

Then after these 2 arrays are created, the following code is used to pick the winners:

Code:
my @winners = ();
my @winner_tickets = ();
for (my $i=0; $i<10; $i++)
{
my $total = sum @tickets;
my $rand = int rand $total;
my $selected = 0;
my $limit = $tickets[$selected];
while ($rand >= $limit)
{
$selected++;
$limit += $tickets[$selected];
}
push @winners, $userids[$selected];
push @winner_tickets, $tickets[$selected];
my $removed_userid = splice @userids, $selected, 1;
my $removed_tickets = splice @tickets, $selected, 1;
}

Once a winner is picked, their userid and tickets are removed from the arrays and the loop above is run again to pick the next winner until all 10 have been picked.

493  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 25, 2015, 12:22:01 PM
The weird thing about the draws are the results. People who buy the least tickets win the most money. Only one or two people who spend a lot of money buying lottery tickets won

any of the Jackpot prizes. It should be the other way around... there should be lots of people who buy lots of tickets winning these prizes. I was under the impression that the more

tickets you buy, the higher your chance to win the bigger prizes or any of the prizes for that matter... but the results of almost all the draws reflect the opposite. hmmmm....  Huh

That's true of course but(i'm considering the latest round) when you have a total of 11m of tickets also if you have 90k(the person that won the 4th prize) tickets you still have only less than 1% of probability to win the first prize.

We get a lot of emails about this but people don't realize that because the tickets are picked randomly, even buying 100k tickets only increases the chance of winning and does in no way guarantee a prize. It's the same as any other lottery - even if you buy 100k tickets in the Euro millions for example, there is a very big chance that you would not win anything. 100k tickets is less than a 1% chance of winning.

Hi I won the lottery the first prize of a week 1.06600787 BTC and withdrew. Thank You Very Much.

Thanks for letting others know about your win. Most people don't for some reason and I really appreciate the fact that you guys did.

Also, it is possible that newly registered forum users might post that they have won because in the email that users get when they win, I ask them to post directly in this thread to let others know. Previously, I just used to send them the link to the forum home page which could be why people did not post. FreeBitco.in gets a lot more traffic then this forum (according to alexa atleast) so it is very much possible that many users are not members of the forum.

I am open to suggestions on how the lottery could be made fairer.

If I may ask... Where does the winner quoted in this post receive a hash? Could this hash be posted and verified once the draw was done to make it more transparent?

I have been playing the lotto since day 1 and the results was instant on the first couple of draws. I now have to refresh many times until the results are posted on the site. Has something changed from the first draws?

You have shown great vision to add this thread to the email send out to the winners. Hopefully more of them will respond here, and more people will trust and use the lottery. A weekly Jackpot 1st win of 10 BTC is

in our future.  Wink

The hash posted by the user is the transaction id of the withdrawal he/she made of their winnings.

There is a delay of about 5 mins after the lottery ends before the results are announced due to the time it takes to pick the winners and also due to the website caching previous results. The caching is done to reduce load on the database so that people refreshing the page over and over does not slow it down for others.

Ah, I thought it was something like Bustabit, where they mix the hash with the clientSeed (decided by the provably fair seeding event) using hmac-sha256. They provide proof

of every game and explain it here ---> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=922898.0

It would be great if your lottery could provide a public hash that could be verified like that.  Wink ... I also get what you saying with the refresh... it was just strange, and I

thought I would ask.  Huh

Edit : Also wonder how these people will be doing it with their lottery --> http://digitalmoneytimes.com/crypto-news/lottoshares-combines-blockchain-technology-physical-lottery/

Thanks, I shall look into those. Not sure how bustabit works but the main issue with the freebitco.in lottery is that every week the number of tickets that are available varies greatly and so it is not possible to pre-determine the winning tickets before the draw and hashing the result.

From a quick read, the lotto shares website in the article only mentions investment into their physical lottery business without explaining how the lottery will be made provably fair,

Just finished applying a new design to the MULTIPLY BTC page. I would appreciate any feedback (positive or negative) that you guys may have about it.

About that design, actually, can you add an option to switch back to the old layout? The new one is a little bit overloaded with graphics for me.

Do you mean that is is difficult to look at or does it take time to load?
