Made a nearly 1 BTC bet (.999 to be exact) for the thrill tonight and it came down to the 0.40x vs the 1.0 multiplier...luckily for me it fell left to the 1.0 multiplier the suspense was fun. Later came with .115 and turned that into .286 but lost it unfortunately (was going to stop at .50). It was a fun time and I know people in chat got some bot handouts as I got it going from the multiple bets I made. Hope you guys do another happy hour / high roller bonus, just saw the thread earlier today, I'd def max bet the game next time you do it if so. Happy to hear that you had a good time! maybe I'm wrong, but what I got is even if the yabtcl site owner(s) decide to play some tickets, it won't alter anyone chance. this is because when the tickets are listed in the file, the lottery result will depend on a event that will happen one and a half hour later.
Yes, you are right, I stand corrected. In case of a lottery, additional players do not alter your chances of winning. Of course, additional players influence your expected return, but they do so while paying into the jackpot, so it's all in order. 3rd edit: still not sure if they are provable fair. (Have to agree with mem though: their explanation of their system is rather hard to follow.) As they don't put the txids of the bets in the results, you can't prove that payment occurred, thereby giving the operators the possibility to play for free, which goes back to my previous point.

To prove that we didn't touch the file after the generation of the winning numbers, we timestamped the SHA256 hash of the file (248963103EEC8E07889EA6E843662F7F26256F2F79809189513964BA53F7650F) with a bitcoin transaction (374a0f85a8fb175c31fa1e06e1bc76575d18d6369526343dfe328785379801d4. Click here to check the SHA256 hash of the file against the transaction. Maybe the 5th time Ive looked at this and I fail to make any sense of it. What people don't seem to realize in the Bitcoin gambling world is that there are degrees of "provably fair", as illustrated by yabcl here. (Some started using just "fair" or "provable results" to distinguish between different degrees of "provably fair"; always meant to write a post dedicated to this...) Anyways, any multiplayer game cannot, by design, be provably fair. This is simply because nobody can prove that the site owner did not use shills to alter their chances. This applies of course to all multiplayer games, so every poker suffers from this for example. It's just wrong to call these games "provably fair". Something as done by yabctl is more like as "provable as a multiplayer game can get". And @BRules: because of the same reasons, investments are never provably fair - you'll just have to trust the operator

luckyb.it reviewed and approved, I quite like the use of binary string to determine right/ left.
Awesome! Thanks a lot for all the work you are putting into this! If we may suggest an improvement for the list: a legend of the merit badges would be awesome!

Everyone please be assured, if the issue with howzar's ban isn't resolved, we, the operators of LuckyBit, will pay everyone that entered a deal with howzar on behalf of LuckyBit. We would like to prevent any negative impression stemming from this problem to fall back on LuckyBit.

Lol, I hope this doesn't affect your legitimacy in paying people for the Luckybit campaign.
Rest assured, if this isn't resolved, we, the operators of LuckyBit, will pay everyone that entered a deal with howzar on behalf of LuckyBit. We would like to prevent any negative impression stemming from this problem to fall back on LuckyBit.

Can't seem to open the site right now on my phone so can someone tell me, does this site work with litecoin also or just BTC? thanks.
Bitcoin only, sorry.

ok well I tried to connect for the first time. I can't play if I'm using Chrome or something? Never had any problems on any site before...
Depends on your browser. Chrome usually works best, but Firefox is also ok. Safari should be ok. Recent IE works as well. Opera fucks up the layout.

A lot of our players have been waiting for a new LuckyBit's crazy hour... ...and now the time has come!
This is like our already famous happy hour, but going nuts!
!! CRAZY HOUR !!
Main prize 1 BTC! Over 1.25 BTC in total prize money + chat lotto giveaways! Play the LuckyBit Crazy Hour http://luckyb.it Thursday, May 8th 21:00-22:00 (9pm-10pm)
All times are LuckyBit time (also known as UTC/GMT)
The rules are almost the same as in our previous edition (except the "high roller bonus" up to 1BTC).Crazy fact #1 The chat lotto will go completely nuts. You can expect awesome giveaways by just chatting. Crazy fact #2 5 bets will be selected from the list of bets played within that hour (LB time) in a provably fair manner. We will hash the following strings: <number_of_bets_played_during_that_hour>:1 <- for first winner <number_of_bets_played_during_that_hour>:2 <- for second winner etc. From the resulting SHA256 hashes we take the last 4 bytes, convert to a number, and use that number to select the winners from the bets that occurred during the crazy hour (with modulo). (bets are sorted by time, in case of conflict, lower txid wins)All of the selected winning addresses get 0.05 BTC! Crazy fact #3 The largest bet played during that hour will receive the "high roller bonus". If this largest bet is played during the first 1/2h, the "high roller bonus" will be 1 BTC, and if it is played during the second 1/2h, the "high roller bonus" will be 0.5 BTC.
If there are several bets with the same amount, the winner is selected randomly among them using a similar method as described above for the first winner of crazy fact #1.
All winners will get their rewards immediately after the crazy hour is over.
See you on the most friendly bitcoin game in the universe!

why is it so slow with coinbase?
Because coinbase is slow...with everything. Don't use it. We generally recommend blockchain.info, more secure and very fast.
