481  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: July 08, 2018, 03:54:01 PM
Yeah, the tremendous growth if ICOs are making certain centralized exchanges go into the shadows. I quite remeber when I entered crypto, people used to ask in telegram, "when binance", but I hardly see such messages nowadays. It could also be the market fall that's making them cold, maybe a rising market price will wake up the dead ones. One aspect we should also cconsuder is that, the competition in crypto is wild and hectic. You don't take care, you'll be wiped out within a twinkle of an eye.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: July 08, 2018, 03:47:57 PM
I haven't any plans regarding that as such. But you have a good point though! We really need to assess that aspect and get backups for our funds and assets when we're not around. I suggest maybe if you have some children you start teaching then about these things and get them acquainted with crypto, but shouldn't give then access to funds yet. Maybe when they grow up and you think it's the right time, you can keep your passwords and important files at a trusted lawyer and then he may hand it over to your next of kin when necessary.
483  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Switzerland the best country to launch an ICO on: July 06, 2018, 06:42:16 PM
Is Switzerland the best country to register a new company to launch an ICO? what is the concept of registering dual companies & what are the tax implications of registering a company in switzerland?
It could be. I have realized there are many projects that base at Switzerland. It seems they've also set certain regulations there to help favor people who want to set start-up there. Estonia is also another place many ICOs base.
484  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is the attack "51%" legal? on: July 06, 2018, 06:40:19 PM
Is the attack "51%" legal? In which countries is such an attack pursued by law?
The thing is that I was wondering if there will be any consequences for mining pools (other than loss of reputation) that will make the Attack "51%"?
To me I see 51% attack as a fraudulent activity in blockchain, and hence it can be categorized as illegally. It think because the regulations on crypto are still evolving, they might get regulations for that as well.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: India choked its cryptocurrency ecosystem to near-death on: July 06, 2018, 06:35:52 PM
From today, bitcoin will not add even a rupee to your bank balance today is the last day to monetise the investment in India as all the banks and financial entities will stop operating accounts linked to virtual currencies from tomorrow ...guys what to do  now how to withdraw the funds to indian rupee any solution?

Well, then I think you'd have to resort to peer to peer transactions then. By the way sorry to all Indians who got affected by this. Anyways I hope they gave you guys some time to withdraw funds from the banks and financial institutions?
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is to blame; the fall of the market! on: July 05, 2018, 09:08:06 PM
There is less interest in ICOs this year in general because we have to wait for the outcomes of the ones launched on previous years. When some of these succeed everything will go again up.
That's definitely true. It seems all those metrics form part of the correction we are experiencing. The cryptoecosystem has been experiencing so many different forms of corrective fundamentaks and diminished interest in ICOs is a major contributor. Well, maybe when the market gets better, interest in ICOs will boost...
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government really scary? on: July 05, 2018, 09:04:36 PM
Well, tentatively the governments say they are doing that to protect cirizens from fraud. Well, Sometimes they might be right because the scam in crypto was high though I think the current market situation is reducing the scam and fraud. But one thing I have realized is that the governments now know that they can also get something from us who're in crypto (tax and maybe the tech) so they've started embracing crypto with regulations.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever consider this; The end of Crypto on: July 05, 2018, 10:26:02 AM
if this is the end of the crypto, then I'm sure there's a big dump is going on and maybe this time all crypto is not worth it, but its all not happening.
if this is the end of crypto, do you think big investors or often called whales will be willing to lose all their assets? certainly not and they will do anything to restore their assets.
Yeah that's true. That's the logic here. No one is willing to let go now. It seems all those who wanted to leave have already left here. This same thing happened sometime ago and when market recovered everyone came back. Let's HODL on, we'll get back to where we were very soon.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Who is to blame; the fall of the market! on: July 05, 2018, 10:21:09 AM
Last year we experienced a major upsurge in the cryptospace. Everyone is blaming anyone for this even though we're seeing some signs currently that shows we can moon again. I am therefire trying to conducta little study to find out from us (the largest crypto community). What do you think caused this great fall?

You can share your opinion if it's not in the poll. Thanks
490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market dominance on: July 05, 2018, 10:09:24 AM
When bitcoin price down, Automatically BTC dominance rise and Altcoin dominance lower
When BTC price going up, BTC dominance going down,
I think this happens due to the whole market capacity
What is your opinion guys
Yep, it means when Bitcoin goes down, the alts follow and tge weakest ones die out making BTC dominance even higher (competition reduced). It is the same way vice versa- when BTC moons the alts follow along and hence even the weakest ones get the momentum to skyrocket thereby increasing the overall competition. I think this is the reason why many people ask whether Bitcoin can be overtaken. Well, in my opinion I don't think so. So far as BTC dominates with such a percentage, it shall be veey difficult.
491  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BITCOIN IN AFRICA on: July 04, 2018, 11:16:53 PM
Which African countries allow Bitcoin transactions? Is Bitcoin currently used to purchase items in any African country?
Many countries in Africa are cryotofriendly. I think South Africa is very friendly when it comes to crypto activities. And yes, you can purchase something with Bitcoins in Africa. There are malls that accept that.
492  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India and Bitcoins on: July 04, 2018, 11:06:39 PM
Well, Indians have suffered some bad news recently. The Supreme Court has refused to grant them their plea on the ban of exchange between fiat and crypto. That's very bad to hear in this times but anyways we hope a redemption comes soon.
493  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe Wants To Know Who You Are? on: July 04, 2018, 05:35:28 PM

so much for using the block chain and having a hidden ID in a transaction
must be a tactic to tax everyone in crypto?

That's very sad to all of us in the crypto community. But one thing I have realized is that fr us to make sure governments keave us alone for us to enjoy our cryptoecosysytem benefits, we'd have to surrender our anonymity to them.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do if the altcoin price dumped? on: July 04, 2018, 05:33:05 PM
Lately, we know the market price of altcoin weakened. Whether or not the purchasing power decreases. Please explain to me what makes you interested in altcoins? And give me an explanation of what you will do to overcome things when altcoin the price dumps?

Well the only thing keeoing me going is my hope and belief in the market. I have realized the market can still make a rebound and so i atill continue to hold on to anything that I have. For example, if I had sold some of my alts i wouldn't have enjoyed the recent profit increase over the past three days.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: July 04, 2018, 05:29:49 PM
I still think bitcoin is an asset, and it's hard to call it currency.
Because currency is going to be widely used, and bitcoin is hard to use on a large scale right now, I expect the lightning network to change everything.
I also side with you. Currently it seems it's being considered an asset rather than a currency because of how unfriendly the governments have become towards crypto. Also, one other interesting factor is that Bitcoin is able to perform the functions of a currency. Well, the debate is still on!!
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain initial promise fade away? on: July 04, 2018, 04:44:33 AM
I don't see the motive dying out. I think we are now going to experience the greatest impact. At first when it came, we thought something of such sort (blockchain) couldn't exist but now what do we see, even the governments who are against have started integrating it. Some have even invested in the study of blockchain. It is going to become better and more utilised.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokensuite Bounty Campaigns on: July 04, 2018, 04:41:31 AM
Wow! i never took the chance to review all the projects that were scam to find out those managed by them. Anyways that's a sad thing to hear from the side of such a reputable management team. They've put their dignity at stake.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Neo go to 10USD on: July 03, 2018, 07:01:40 PM

Anything can happen with this market and make NEO push up back to that price. Currently since Bitcoin controls the market, I think mooning of all alts happens when bitcoin pumps. That's what we just realized in some few days ago.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is far more than an investment venture on: July 03, 2018, 06:59:26 PM
Today's cryptocurrency investors, most of them speculators, don't care about the technology and use of passwords, just about when prices will rise. So I don't think it's a bad thing for markets to fall sometimes, we need more believers than speculators.
Well as I said in this topic, Should the market continue this way for another long term, people will truly understand the essence of blockchain and we'll all realize that blockchain and crypto are not only about 100x, 1000x profits.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is far more than an investment venture on: July 03, 2018, 06:57:16 PM
Crypto market soared extremely high and fast and that attracted many amateurs. Meanwhile trading and investing is very difficult kind of job and unfortunately many novices bought at historical highs thus they did not earn anything. Anyway they got nice experience. Meanwhile many investors are waiting a new bullish crypto market so all wishers will be able to earn again.
Yeah that's true. Many of us are awaiting another bull run so that we can make up for our losses. We all hope this bearish season ends soon so that we can cover up. Anyways as you said, it was a nice experience though!
