I am inclined to buy below 013, in increasing size all the way down. 012--013 was the last moderately stable intraday level, and represents a 50% retracement of the impulsive weekend move. But I won't buy much. Unless it gets crazy, like under .01. Then I will abandon restraint. Top monero bulltard turning bear now?  |

I myself think there is a more than 50% possibility that we take a breather, so that the year end price is lower than the current price. We raised from 0.004 so recently that it is still a realistic possibility to revisit. Going below does not seem realistic in my view. Based on this reasoning, I voted 0.011-0.016.
The voting scale is constructed so that there are 10 choices, and they are in a logarithmic scale (each cohort is 41% higher than previous). The midpoint price today was selected as the midpoint.
Even if I believe the rise to have a somewhat lower probability than the decline, I strongly encourage buy/hold. This is because of the Monero's explosive nature and its long term prospects: if the price rises now, it can go very high in a short time. But even if it goes down - nothing bad really happens because it will rise back, just as it did so many times in the last 2 years.
It was 0.004 before people realized it may be the primary coin used in DNM... I'm hoping a price above 0.01 stays for the additional influx of money the DNM brings and because of the new money that came in because of the attention. I agree it will need to take a breather or retrace a bit, but I hope it doesn't go back below 0.01.... it sucks to be a bag holder and wait for another rise. Don't wanna be waiting for a year, especially if BTC starts pumping again |

wake me up when there's a lower low. until then the trend hasn't reversed. stalled yes. reversed, no. Wake me up when Monero is 0.03 I guess I will be sleeping for a long time?  And I wasn't suggesting a trend reversal, more of a resistance + dip. The trend is probably bullish on the hype of DNM adoption until Sept 1st when people realize hype was over-hyped and transactions in XMR is not as high as people assumed |

Shouldn't this be the Rise and FALL of Monero? There is no continued rise, the dump will happen. At this moment we are all playing roulette on when it will all come down. The thing that is keeping the price up is the hype around DNM adoption. Come Sept 1, when DNM Oasis and AlphaBay both starting using XMR... if for some reason we low volume or lower than expected usage I can see the price come tumbling down. But from now to Sept 1st everyone is riding the hype train and it is much harder to manipulate the price down. Of course long term I'm bullish, and I think 0.02 will happen... but I'm a little worried about the first week of Sept. Too much hype always leads to some form of disappointment Lets go first with 100 millions $, then $10 a coin. After that we can go higher.
Both of those things already happened earlier today. What's next? 0.02 sounds like a no brainer to me, especially relative to the market caps of LTC and ETH. Then $500M market cap M i rite guys? |

Sold all my XMR @ .0121 avg, 572btc worth. Will buy it all back at .005  Good luck, not gonna happen. Doubt we will see 0121 again even We'll see. When people say things like it'll never go below X that's exactly when it tends to happen. Going down to .005 seems too drastic at this point but I wouldn't rule out a retracement to 0.008-0.009 I am 99% sure you never get it back at .005 ever. I am going to call it early and say you made one of the worst decisions of your life selling quite early. Nor do I ever see Monero (XMR) going back to previous levels. I see a general gradual upward trend that is only continuing. That depends, in bullish times people tend to forget the fundamental; where does the money come from? In order for a coin to just maintain a certain level, then will fresh fiat constantly have to be put into the ecosystem. I do recognize the dark adaptation and the future gui app. However I think is very difficult to make any predictions right now, since all the sharks have landed to get their share of the pie. If you look at the trading right now, the majority of orders are just bots doings their thing. Don't get me wrong I believe in XMR, not trash talking here - but 2-3 days of graphs is a very thin basis for predicting anything. Cheers What's your timeframe to 0.02 and 0.03? Or do you think it might not go that high |

But yes, not soon. I think somewhere in the 2020-2024 range it is likely that 1 XMR = 1 BTC. But both will be at a much higher fiat/gold price by then.
