481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions to prevent scammers launch new shitcoins on: August 10, 2014, 04:02:13 PM
This is the never ending problem with an unregulate free market. If you regulate the market, you will get hate because you are quote limiting odds of something good popping out.
If you do not regulate the market, you risk being flooded with shit. Its a double sided sworded.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins - Which are the best? on: August 10, 2014, 04:00:57 PM
As of to date, XMR is still the king of alt coins my friend. Let me say that there are other proyects out there coming up with interesting stuff but let's be real tea for a second here, if you are not going to use the coin to buy commodities, your coin is pretty much dead. XMR has the anonymous side covered and is working with i2p, henceforth is the most solid anonymous alternative to Bitcoin. Other coins really haven't got a legit place to exists.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is the greatest pain to use? on: August 10, 2014, 03:35:12 PM
Well any legit new technology is going to be a pain in the ass to use at first, just like early ass versions of Bitcoin were a pain in the ass to use. Well in fact, Bitcoin is still a pain in the ass to use if you don't know what you are doing, it still needs improvement. Also look at that Tested video where they buy a BTC on an ATM machine and they get literally scammed. This needs work before we going 10K mainstream.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever reach $1000 dollars again? on: August 10, 2014, 03:33:40 PM
even if it goes to 1000, it changes nothing for most of us boat missers

That's wrong. It's at like 500-600 right now if it goes up to 1000+ thats one hell of a profit.

Well not really, unless you own a big amount of BTC, and most people don't even own 1 BTC.
485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Decide where to place bought BCs? on: August 10, 2014, 03:32:29 PM
The most inmediate way is probably Virwox by using your paypal account but the fees are insanely high.
486  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help configuring SGminer - Able to restart an 'overheated' card??? on: August 10, 2014, 03:28:49 PM
Dude if you are risking your actual graphic card I wouldn't risk it specially during summer, unless you know for certain the coin you are mining is going to blow up and that's impossible to know, on this scenareo then it's clear you have more chances at blowing up your GPU than you have to make any relevant gains.
487  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers Use Bitcoins??? on: August 10, 2014, 03:27:05 PM
Scammers use dollars? Scammers use euro? scammers use any gold? Scammers gonna scam. They are going to use whatever medium they have to get gains with minimal efforts, and if they don't get caugh well, they won.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: August 10, 2014, 03:22:56 PM
Most definitely your best chance at making any relevant amounts of BTC (aka NOT what you can get out of faucets) is pretty much offering your services similarly as you do for FIAT by working or doing whatever you do. The only other option is moving FIAT into BTC.
489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges on: August 08, 2014, 12:45:08 PM
cryptsy is improoved alot lately, no waiting for deposits, withdrawals, customer service is good too.

I have not tried Cryptsy again since my AUR dissapeared for 7 hours of of nowhere only to find out them back again when I wake up next day. That scared the shit out of me and I decided not to participate on Cryptsy again. It's good to hear they have fixed their shit and got their shit together finally but I feel it's still to early for me to decide to move all my shit in here again. Might as well stick with Poloniex.

You are missing IconicExpert on that list.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FCN] Fantomcoin. CN based, anonymous. Merge mine with BCN, XMR, QCN, duck. on: August 08, 2014, 12:40:30 PM
Still big upping this coin. Deserves a bigger spot for popularizing the merged mining technology. We need merchants to accept the coin, without this any coin ever is fucked. Someone needs to get in Tor and I2p and try to get services there as well.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: August 08, 2014, 12:39:30 PM
I've been ignoring the Stellar thing as another alt coin bullshitcoin. Is this really something? can anyone sum it what the fuzz is all about? I dont stop seeing Stellar this Stellar that lately.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you really believe that Bitcoin will hit 1,000,000 on: August 08, 2014, 12:38:38 PM
1 million dollar per bitcoin sounds insane to me. Yet again, 1000 dollar per bitcoin sounded insane to anyone in 2009. We never know where is the limit with disruptive technology. It could go to 0 or to 1 million, who the fuck knows tho.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: August 08, 2014, 12:37:42 PM
Daytrading is all luck unless you have inside information to get on the nice pump and dump scams and take profit out of it. So my advice would have been: get your fiat money in BTC in small doses monthly, dollar cost average seems like the best. You can also get paid by doing services for BTC related businesses.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2014, 12:36:25 PM
I wonder if Facebook is trying to somewhat buy Bitcoin as in the brand? They bought Oculus Rift and these guys seem like they have no limits on their ambition. They have shitloads of money and im sure they are looking into Bitcoin as we speak.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: August 08, 2014, 12:35:31 PM
What is freedom tho? Free will is an illusion. Henceforth, what would we qualify as freedom? Bitcoin reduces barriers, but there is no such thing as freedom. You are always subject to the amount of BTC you have, to your hormones, and to your genetics to adquire these BTC.
497  Economy / Services / Re: Selling my signature space! on: August 08, 2014, 12:32:51 PM
Primedice is one of the oldest and most solid ones. For me guaranteed payday is everything, of course decent ammount to be paid as well. For this I trust Primedice. Dicebitco.in looks good but I do not know if they've paid a single time yet since it's new.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: You work your butt off, and a rich dude does nothing and gets rich - how? on: August 07, 2014, 10:56:31 PM
well some of them are already rich since birth, other i know become rich because of luck or talent, i think luck play a big role here

And what is talent? Exactly, luck.
499  Economy / Economics / Re: Making your investment grow in a bitcoin economy on: August 07, 2014, 10:55:14 PM
Dollar averaging seems like the solution, spend 100 dollars monthly and get the best of both worlds. Imo 10K is too risky now, it could go both ways.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Is 1 bitcoin a decent and good investment? on: August 07, 2014, 10:49:29 PM
Bitcoin in itself is a risky enough investment to worry about investing in altcoins. There isn't a single altcoin besides Monero (and it would be a secondary altcoin) that's worth holding long term, absolutely no other coin has a point to exist, beyond pump and dumps (fuck my life, didn't bough on that Supercoin thing.. but then again, it's just all a lottery).
So yeah, focus on dollar averaging on BTC.
