481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 15, 2023, 09:29:31 PM
Quote
Ah, but what’s good for the sports bettor is good for the sportsbook. Sportsbooks won’t ever shut down wagers on AI driven bets one-hundred percent, but they may request a larger vig, more juice, to place bets on AI driven options.

Do you really think so? I think that the sportsbooks are pretty much the same as casinos. The casino wins when the players lose.
The sportsbooks aren't so different.
AI cannot predict the outcomes of sports events. They might be helpful in gathering and analyzing data about past performance of the sports teams and athletes, but that doesn't reduce the luck factor in any sports event.
By the way, how can a sportsbook platform reveal which bets are AI driven and which bets are not AI driven? I don't think that the sportsbooks have such tracking system in hand.
This is a big challenge for any industry to identify the difference between AI vs normal and with sportsbetting, there's no way yet to identify this one or maybe they are still safe from AI predictions as this is sports and we know that anything can happen in sports. I'm sure there are gamblers now who are using AI for their betting strategy as it provides a concrete history of data. Casinos for sure is already working for a system that can identity gamblers who are using AI, this is not illegal though but they still need to regulate it.

483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Timing and Trading on: August 12, 2023, 09:57:26 PM
Timing is actually the main goal for your analysis, you are doing TA so you can have a perfect timing either to buy or sell crypto and every trade should work on this.

Though scalpers and day trade seems not working with their timing as they trade for whatever the trend is and leave within a hour or even a minute. If you’re a long term trader, timing should be your focus.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of casinos that allows "free spins and no deposit" on: August 12, 2023, 09:44:33 PM
I am trying to compile a list of crypto casinos that are offering free spins and no deposit promotions.

If you're into crypto casinos and looking to get your hands on some freebies, there's this awesome topic that's been put together and consistently updated by a user Pmalek: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets
This could be a good list already and OP can choose on where to start with.
Though most of those bonuses will still require you to wage so you can totally enjoy the free spins and of course the reward of it so depositing some funds should be an option to you. Tried faucets before and it is still fine for a free crypto.
485  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano nga ba ang Vishing? on: August 12, 2023, 09:36:37 PM

Katulad nitong report na to last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80tOoThymcE
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: August 12, 2023, 09:28:50 PM
If the same scenario keeps on repeating then you should know when to stop. When you reach almost three digits then stop for a while and just do it again the next day. You just have to get along with the usual movement of your activity and don't force yourself to reach a high target if you are having a hard time reaching it.
There's nothing wrong in stopping for a while pr resting if you can't hit your target profit. Sometimes our greed could make us lost everything in an instance so baby steps would still be good than rushing to reach a high profit.
This could be the best solution to stop the trend and I always do this, especially if I’m not winning with the same number that could be my indication on being not lucky on that day so I have to stop and cut the loss. Gambling can be very tricky as well and an exciting like this one, so if you are more thrilled to have this kind of scenario then make sure to have a good strategy to address this problem because if you can’t find any, then you might ended up with the same result again.
487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Play Simple telegram-bot game "Unix Season" on: August 12, 2023, 09:09:33 PM
Is there a catch here?

I don't like Telegram gambling games, but I tried a few of them... everything was fine, but for me, there's no excitement. Maybe it's just me, I enjoy some other games a lot more...
Have the same experience with telegram gambling games, I find it weird and complicated though the instruction is there but if you are going to guess the date, you’ll be more confused at first. Considering the competitive casinos that we have right now that gives good promotions and bonuses, for sure gamblers will prefer the traditional casinos compare to this one.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 12, 2023, 08:58:38 PM
Would like to know your takes on betting as a group to raise chances in local
Lotteries

I know that mathematically the chances are still really low even if you multiply it 100x but in Brazil at least we’ve seen some local lottery prizes given for small groups of 20 or 30 people betting betting with 5000x tickets let’s say

If dreaming alone is cool dreaming in groups can be even better

In the US this is done all the time.  Not so much with other strangers but as a collective group friends but mostly in your work environment.  A lot of big winners comes from a group and those are likely from a work place.  For an employer I always thought that would suck because you would have a mass exodus of your employees if it's a big enough lottery.  I'm all for it, no reason for 1 person to win such big lotteries.
At least this is an organized group and I hope they all have the terms to follow because in my country greedy people can’t even lead a group so how you can trust them in the first place. Having a group can increase your chance of winning, its good to hear that there’s actually a group like this because when it comes to collection of money, that can be more risky in my country.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: August 12, 2023, 04:50:51 PM
Stopping advertisement, disciplined bank roll and shutting Internet won't help in stopping the addiction. If you are addicted then first acknowledge your addiction and then work on the probable solution. It is not easy to acknowledge that is for sure. My simple suggestion would be to join a group of addicticts who are facing the same problem and want to get rid of it. A proper councelling can also help in stopping an addict from ruining his life and that of the others.
Counseling is the best option here, if you’re already addict you already need professional advice and of course a big support from your family. Being addict can cause a lot of depression, stress and anxiety especially if you are losing money. Getting away on any platform with regards to gambling can help but I see this as an temporary solution, if you really want to recover then start looking for help.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legality of Online Gambling in Different Countries on: August 11, 2023, 09:55:40 PM

Nope, the government ban gambling because of the religion and they're poor countries. Although UAE and North Korea are small countries, but UAE is rich and North Korea is a private country. Gambling should be only for the rich because poor people can't afford to lose their money and can't find entertainment during gambling.

Yeah they can access via VPN, but sooner or later the casino will ask KYC or terminate their account.

I'm living in a third-world country but gambling is legal here in fact our government is the one running the lottery here and also the casino so, in general, it's not the condition of the country, it is the government's choice to ban the country if they want to, our government-run lotteries and casinos funded our health system the one that benefits is the poor and needy sector.
We cannot say that gambling is for rich people because there are poor people who can play in casinos and other betting platforms like horse racing and other betting platforms, and these venues accept you whether you are rich or poor.
This is how our government works, they manage lottery system and now they are planning to create their own online gambling site to meet the demand of the gamblers since its volume rises during the pandemic and now they want to make more money from this. Yes its legal but some sites are still operating illegally, so better to be more careful on choosing where to gamble because not all is legit.

https://www.newsbtc.com/stablecoin/can-pyusd-be-frozen-in-your-wallet/
Kung ganito nga ito, mas ok nalang na gumamit ng other stablecoin since marame naman option kaya if hinde ka sigurado sa isa, better not to use it. Big companies are creating their own stablecoins, di ko sure kung ito ba ang trend ngayon pero dapat talaga tayong magingat kase hinde lahat ay ok and hinde porke malaking company ang nagrelease nito ay safe na ito, again mas ok paren maginvest kung saan ikaw ang may control.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 11, 2023, 08:58:51 PM
Sudden Wealth Syndrome SWS anxiety has killed a lot of people that I have heard. There were some gambling that won a big amount of boy and because the over excitement BP rise up and killed them. And I also heard a local chief in my clan. A state Governor game him $7,000 and immediately he saw the money and he fainted and died. Those who have not seen such huge amount of always display different kind of drama.

There's also a story like this in my neighborhood, because of so much excitement he experienced severe stroke though he's still doing good right now and slowly recovering. The reaction is normal though after winning the jackpot or huge amount of money, and it will always depend on how you handle the situation and with this you should focus more on your mind over matter. You have to be healthy as well if you're into gambling, don't let your body becomes weak or else your emotion can take over you instantly.
Being healthy doesn’t mean you are safe from this Syndrome since winning big doesn’t happen all the time. Yes this is normal scenario to be more happy, increase on your adrenaline because of too much excitement, some are able to control this while some are also suffering from a serious condition. I even experience this when I won in art contest before and seriously, I didn’t know what to do but meditation helps me to focus on the real situation and stop overthinking, I think this can be a big help if you are on this kind of situation.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 11, 2023, 11:49:16 AM

Most people always say real estate is very safe, but they forget if there are mafias which create a fake certificate or use your land for their own benefit. Don't forget there are robbery who want to steal anything especially in empty building which is safer than someone else house.
Making sure the title of the property you are going to buy is clean and selecting the best location that's conducive are basic things for real estate investors. You don't just put money on a building that's in the hood or other areas infested by gangs and criminals.
This is the burden when it comes to real estate investment since fake documents will surely be a big problem and the location as well.
Though despite of these cons on investing in real estate I still see this as the most efficient investment and most safe compare to the two.

Crypto is good too as part of your diversification strategy, but when it comes to doing business, I think this is only ok if you have enough time to monitor and handle it, business is a lifetime commitment as well, and you work here 24/7 as the owner not unless you already established a solid team to handle it.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance indirectly manipulative by promoting Tokens? on: August 10, 2023, 08:42:28 PM
They are guys promoting the project so they can get something from it as well, this is business after all so profit will always be the priority. Though I don’t see manipulation with regards to its price movement, the market of Binance is huge that’s why the target of many good projects are to be listed on Binance. The airdrop, launchpad or whatever kind of strategy with Binance is part of their agreement for sure since Binance can’t do that alone.
495  Economy / Gambling / Re: JackpotInsight.com - online review guide on: August 10, 2023, 08:24:13 PM
I am confused about the rating system. Users can rate it but do those affect the rating in the site or what? BitStarz has 9.5 and zero user reviews.

And how new this site is? It looks good but as there are only 5 casinos and all of them have nearly five stars, it's pointless so far, as everyone needs to know about the bad sites, and maybe some transparency on who does the ranking. Do you take requests what sites should be added or are you already too overloaded with the amount of sites. Also do you want compensation from the casino before releasing the review?

That’s really confusing especially if the rating doesn’t show how many gamblers review that site.
We actually need more a reputable review site that give fair rate about the casinos but having this issue, i think many will hesitant. Anyway, i hope this site will grow more and have some updates too, try to list more good site as much as possible and get the real reviews from the player itself.
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hacker attacks again on: August 10, 2023, 08:09:37 AM
Now, let's have an update about the curve finance. recently it had an issue where a hacker entered it and it happened on July 30, 2023. So what Curve did was they offered the hacker to return its fund and they will give 10% bounty rewards. And it will not be charged or imprisoned. The offer was accepted and the stolen assets were returned. But the hacker did not complete its full refund from other pools.
What can we expect from those hackers, it's rare though that they accept the offer maybe the company knows the hackers and to avoid being compromised, that's why they accepted it. Well, hackers are always there I wonder if they still have the plan to hack the system again. Cheesy
Also confused about talking legality here where in the first place they are doing illegal things.
If you are here in the forum, I believe malaki ang exposure mo sa crypto at maganda ang opportunity mo dito. Sa totoo lang

Hinde talaga maiiwasan tumaas ang Inflation due to the world economy, apektado ren tayo specially with other big countries. Ang nakikita kong solution talaga dito is maginvest at kumita ng malaki.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 09, 2023, 09:47:04 PM
Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.
Slots can make you happy and sad at the same time, this is a game of luck but the excitement is there.
I also started my casino journey playing slots machine since this is the easiest way to gamble on a casino, yes I won but eventually the house won. If you're looking for a fun activities at the casinos or even on the site and want an easy instructions to understand the game, then slots machine are best game for you.
Ok ito if you still have the control over your crypto, pero sa nangyayari before with Unionbank na kung saan if ever na magtransact ka ng Crypto, irerestrict nila ito and I have a friend na pinilit isara ang account nya or else, hinde nya na makukuha ang pera nya since ang source is with crypto at maraming nagpopost ng kagaya nito online.

I'm not against to this pero sana wag maging centralized masyado and magkaroon paren tayo ng freedom since ito naman talaga ang purpose ni crypto.
500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on Weekly looks Dangerous on: August 09, 2023, 12:17:17 PM
What is the expectation now, we are still below $30,000, but the price is still resisting to reach above $31,000, which we can consider as the strongest resistance level before we reach $41,000 (which is an unexpected scenario based on current trading volumes)

Personally, I hope to see levels less than 25K in the coming weeks. I want to buy a little, and therefore buying at these levels is much better than 41k levels, so my hopes are different from what some people here want. Grin
Looking at the price trend now, it looks like Bitcoin is slowly getting its momentum and gaining more volume as day passed by.
We might not see Bitcoin at the price of $25k again as its able to hold to the support level of $29k. I expect a more bullish trend in the coming weeks.
Despite of the ghost Month, Bitcoin is able to survive the threat of a dump, we should continue to watch the price and decide what's the best for your strategy.
