481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bernie Sanders will use bitcoin for economic growth? on: February 19, 2016, 12:52:59 PM

Sanders is a socialist, so anyone who values individual liberty  should be strongly against him.

If Bernie becomes president... money will flow out of the USA like crazy.

Offshore, Bitcoin and other such things.

I feel the same

Oh come on, it is for the greater good.  Roll Eyes

If its better for USA money will actually flow IN to the USA, not out

Who wouldn't want to pay a 80% tax!

Our country currently rewards fuck ups and punishes success.

Yep 70-90% tax brackets... So people can screw off and be economically equal...

AHHAHAHAHHAHAH
Go to Poloniex and hand them your Picture ID then buy Monero.
Yes Poloniex sucks because of this!
Earlier they didn't care, i hope this trend will not become standard!

Bitters now too, but only to trade $2k or more vs the USD. I'm sure it will change soon though.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: February 19, 2016, 09:50:35 AM
Hey guys, if you have a wallet not open, fire that bad boy up and help us stake and move the chain a bit.

Arg needs more connections for a bootstrap.

Side note, the block explorer is back up and synced.
484  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-02-18] Insider Says This Could Send Bitcoin Prices Skyrocketing on: February 18, 2016, 10:51:33 PM
While the world burns we will be rewarded for the forsight and trust in Bitcoin.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play in btc casino that doesn't offer Bonus ? on: February 18, 2016, 10:28:42 PM
Bonuses are nice but yes a good quality casino is much more appealing to me then a bonus that I'll play at once.

487  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Coin Ad (New Owner) on: February 17, 2016, 10:52:22 PM
Do you guys reply to emails via your contact page?

I have an advert that has been approved and not started for 6 days now. Email with all applicable info sent once per day for 3 days.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous coins on: February 17, 2016, 10:13:48 PM
thx for the answers,

so for now, i think the most important ones are:

Monero
Dash
ZeroCash

right?

Right

Sonic could be added to the list right next to XST. Hondo and argakiig colaborate on much of the coding and testing of each others projects.

Link to sonic thread?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=755180.0

Link to sonic thread. Most conversation, development is released via slack in which stealth and sonic share a slack channels.

A slack channel is being planned down the road per Franko. I'm ganna guess once their current project build is done.

That would be most welcome - can't wait to have a place to get regular updates on this one... Been hodling a long time, as the project seemed refreshingly worthwhile.

Yes, not the normal crypto scum rolling around here. Even their logo is light years ahead of most everyone else here.

I'm actual glad they decided to stay away from bitcointalk. It's no place for a legitimate company to operate on a regular basis. Unless your target niche is this space, which theirs is not.

Our latest Press Release, proud to announce that Ribbit.me has joined The Linux Foundation's Hyperledger project
https://www.acnnewswire.com/press-release/english/28137/ribbit.me-joins-the-linux-foundation's-hyperledger-project#.VsP6OPb6tkE.twitter

Between raising $1.5 million at bnktothefuture and now this announcement, a huge week for RBR!  Great to hear all of this, would love if there were more updates by the Ribbit folks themselves here (although I can understand why a real company wouldn't want to bother much with this troll-rich environment)...

492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bernie Sanders will use bitcoin for economic growth? on: February 17, 2016, 01:08:06 PM

Sure, he will take the capital gains tax you owe on the Bitcoin you have made, then take some more for the less fortunate ones who didn't know about Bitcoin until 2016 and beyond....

Everyone is equal right?

It's not fair that you keep the majority of the profits if Bitcoin moons right? I mean this guy flips burglars but deserves the same compinsation as you do even though you spotted a trend and acted on it. Wink

No he has no interest in Bitcoin besides the redistribution of your wealth from it.
493  Economy / Goods / Re: Used panties for sale on: February 17, 2016, 12:20:14 PM
Cake between the toes, I'm ganna have to try that. My wife is into the grapefruit BJ. Not all it's cracked up to.. But I humor her.

Married have enough panties hanging around... I'm sure you will find some buyers though

GL don't let these buzz kills get you down.

Play in the commodity markets

498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: martin Shkreli loses 37,000 bitcoins (10 transactions = $15 million) yesterday. on: February 15, 2016, 12:51:53 PM
Oh lord how I detest this man.  Aside from anything to do with bitcoin, it eats at me that someone can put the screws to people who need an old, long-generic drug like he did and profit from it.  I will eat up with delight any story about him getting anally probed with dull objects in prison and/or losing his ill-gotten fortune.  I get a foul taste in my mouth when I see him smirking.

So that's that.  If he lost this amount of bitcoin, I'm cool with that.

Seeing as Obama care Mandates that not any person can be denied coverage, and that the insurance company picks up most the cost on the drugs. He is sticking it to the man... Are you listening to mainstream media when you make your comments? The cost goes to the insurers...

I don't condone his searching for young girls, and being stupid with his money. I.e. Buying a record nobody will ever hear.  But that's the luxury of F ME MONEY.

Wow great win! My biggest win on slots was 3.1 BTC at Betcoin, nothing compared to that! What bet lvl were you playing, I was playing 1mbtc spins. Wish I was playing 10...
500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is IMMORTAL... on: February 15, 2016, 12:25:58 PM
Bitcoin is proving to be extremely strong, practically "immune to death". If you look at Bitcoin Obituaries, people among the most influential and powerful in the world (let JPMorgan CEO be one example) have been unsuccessfully trying to bring it down. Even Hearn tried to destroy it and, despite all the incredibly negative promotion worldwide, Bitcoin's price went down a little only to (slowly) get back. If not even one of its creators was able to kill it, who will?

Another altcoin might slow it down but not actually kill it. Someday one of the altcoins will emerge as a better payment option and take away the throne from bitcoin as the top crypto out there.

i see no reason for that to happen, as long as they do not offer anything worth it, and no right now there is not a single altcoin that offer something that bitcoin lack or that bitcoin can not have in the future

I agree here, ATM no other alt coin has the infrastructure that Bitcoin has nor the merchants, hashing power, people, development, or funding...

I did NOT invest in ETH but see them as the only ones who eventualy might be able to compete with Bitcoin ONE day. Although they have a long way to go.
