I think that Manchester United shouldn't let Paul Pogba go by making him sign the contract extension somehow. But the current condition of the team is really not that good. If they signed a permanent and top-quality manager, then it might have affected Pogba's decision in a positive way. But obviously, they haven't done this. And Manchester United are still struggling. Pogba might not want to stay here anymore and he might want to go to a big club which is in a much better shape.

Galatasaray's terrible form is still continuing. They played against Giresunspor yesterday and I was expecting them to get their second win in a row. But they were really lacking the ability to end their attacks with a goal. And this cost them three points by 0-1 as a result. I know that Galatasaray are focused on the Europa League more now. But they have still time for the next games in that tournament. They can work for making things better here. But they don't.

Nantes - Monaco game is still going on by 0-0. This could be one of the most boring games in the Ligue 1.  Grin  Nantes have been much better in the second half as they got so many goal chances. Monaco seem to have the most ball possession but they are still having a problem on finding the target. There are less than ten minutes left to the end and this situation is very risky for Monaco. But I think that the game will end by this score.

I really love to watch West Ham's dedicated game in this season. They started stumbling a few weeks ago and got bad results as a result of it. But they still stood up and they are on a win streak right now by two games. And they are gonna play their missing game against Norwich a few days later. Norwich shouldn't be a big deal for them. They are the worst team in the league literally. West Ham can maintain this run.

After having a very satisfying win, Milan's next rendezvous is going to be against Venezia tomorrow. It is an away game for them but I still expect Milan to become the winner of the game. And this probable win would carry them to the top by being two points ahead of Inter. And this might cause Inter to be anxious a little before their game against Lazio. I feel like that they will draw with Lazio.

There was a pure dominance by Marseille in the opening game last night. Especially in the first half, Marseille performed superbly and dominated it. Their winning goal came in this half also. Marseille started letting Bordeaux come more in the second half. But this didn't make any change for the score and that was it. I really appreciate Marseille's performance in the current season. They can't get close to PSG maybe but they are maybe even the biggest candidate for the second spot.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 08, 2022, 06:19:30 PM
I can't say that any of the teams are playing too effectively now. But Barcelona seem to be playing a little better. But they are lacking as for shots on target. Their goal was cancelled too due to offside. I think that Barcelona should score first somehow. Because Granada are one of the solid teams home lately. If they score before, then Barcelona can have a really hard time winning or maybe even drawing with them.

Trabzonspor are still doing a great job in the league. They played the opening game of the week against Yeni Malatyaspor. And they won the game by 1-0 having a very solid performance. Cornelius' only goal was enough for them to win. But this was a risky score also. However Yeni Malatyaspor performed too badly. They didn't even have one shot on target during the whole game. Trabzonspor are the most deserving team for title for sure.

It is really good to see that Real Madrid are playing as a real team now.
You mean they haven't been playing a Real team before?
So what happens if they beat PSG. Does PSG suddenly turn “unreal”?

I mean that Real Madrid haven't ever been this much good since Ronaldo left the team. Now in this season, they are showing incredible performances in the La Liga and the Champions League both. It is like they are back in their old days.  Smiley  And this is really good for me truthfully. I want to see Real Madrid playing like this and being this much determined. And I can't even imagine how much powerful they will be in case they manage to sign Mbappe and Haaland both or even one of them.

The last 32 round is near starting. There is only one game today and it is going to be the opening game of this round also. Manchester City are gonna have a game against Swindon away. These two teams haven't played against each other since 2002. And this is going to be the end of Swindon certainly. I expect Manchester City to rotate their lineup actually but they can still destroy Swindon easily.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 07, 2022, 06:11:50 PM
I think that Barcelona did the right thing by loaning Philippe Coutinho to Aston Villa with an option to buy also. This option must be €40m. This is the right thing because he wasn't playing even for Barcelona. And when he played before, he wasn't performing well. So it is better for Barcelona to increase their wage budget by sending him. They will probably hope for Aston Villa to buy him at the end of the loan too.

It is really good to see that Real Madrid are playing as a real team now. There is no player who is being selfish and playing according to it. Maybe Vinicius Junior is a little like that but the general situation is like I said.  Grin  Thanks to this integrity of the team, they are doing very good not only in the La Liga. They are doing awesome in the Champions League too. Maybe bookmakers don't see them as one of the biggest favourites but I do. And many people think the same too.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 06, 2022, 07:06:41 PM
In the second half, Roma seem to be more effective than Milan for now. They found more goal chances. If Milan don't start playing better than this, Roma seem to be near scoring the equalizer too.

By the way, Lazio - Empoli also was awesome today. Empoli got ahead two times in the game. But Lazio somehow managed to get a 3-3 draw. It was great to watch this many goals in this game which I wasn't expecting for. Lazio got one disallowed goal also and Immobile missed a penalty too. Maybe they would have even won by 4-3. But considering Empoli's great performance in this season, this wasn't a shock for me.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 06, 2022, 06:28:23 PM
The game is really tense now. Milan are ahead by 2-1 now. They made a great start to the game and got ahead 2-0 already. And while we were in the last minutes of the first half, Tammy Abraham gave life to his team by scoring his goal. Now, things can get really interesting in the second half. Milan should be able to keep their performance level. If they lose their focus, then Roma could make a comeback.

I don't think that Nets did the right thing by bringing Kyrie Irving back to the starting five. He still hasn't been vaccinated so they shouldn't have made such decision. They are just acting so selfishly. This might threaten the other players who have been vaccinated too. I wonder what NBA board will say to this. But as he played against Pacers, they don't seem like they are against this decision.

There are lots of games tonight. But there is one among them which has drawn my attention. It is Dallas Mavericks - Golden State Warriors. For the Mavericks side, there is some good news. Luka Doncic has finally started playing again after a long break. He was injured for some time and right after that he got covid-19. But he already played two games after getting rid of it. And I believe that he will get better in performance soon. I'm looking forward to see him playing in this game. Maybe this is going to be the game he starts playing awesome again.

Manchester City and Bayern are indeed the favorites of the Champions League, but Real Madrid are not even in the top five contenders in terms of bookmakers:

Manchester City FC 3.80

Bayern Munich 4.65

Liverpool 6.05

Chelsea 7.60

Paris Saint-Germain 9.95

Ajax 15.00

Real Madrid 17.00

Surprisingly, even Ajax is rated higher than Real. I know Ajax is having a fantastic season, but I think it still has to prove that it can play well even against top clubs. Interestingly, Chelsea and Liverpool are close by, just like in the EPL.

It is very interesting honestly. Because Chelsea have a better odd than PSG just because they are the last champions in the CL. And Ajax are favoured by bookmakers even more than Real Madrid. I get that Ajax have been really awesome so far. Their performance in the group stage was just extraordinary surely. But this still doesn't mean that they are better than Real Madrid. If we somehow see a draw between them, I strongly believe that Real Madrid would eliminate them.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 05, 2022, 06:41:26 PM
Bayern Munich - Gladbach looks like another comfortable game for Bayern Munich. Gladbach have been really out-of-form for many weeks. They got horrible results recently and they should be ready for another one in Allianz Arena. They will hope for Bayern Munich to make many mistakes in this game. Only by this way, they can lose at least by a close gap. But I still expect a comfortable win for Bayern.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 05, 2022, 06:10:58 PM
If Inter manage to defeat Bologna and get their eight consecutive win, Milan will be under pressure for sure. And Milan are being favoured for their game against Roma this week. Maybe their job will be really difficult but I believe that Milan can win this game and maintain the gap with Inter at worst. I really want them to fight till the end for the Serie A title. They are powerful enough to do this.
