481  Other / Politics & Society / Community power on: November 24, 2018, 10:26:52 PM
Just like the little creatures such as the ants the have been able to model the gains and success of community power this creatures individually are small and powerless. But with there cooperation and division of labour can be able to establish strong and progressive ant society.

A community comprises of the total number of people existing in a particular area. The strength of a community is not solely dependent on the amount of wealthy, strong or notable member of the community but also the level of coexisting ability of the members of the community

A community can be hit with various challenges ranging from natural disasters, bad economy, stagnant traditional belief,  and so much more but it's the selflessness of members that can spore a recovery process even before any external intervention can come in.

I feel inspired and encourage watching or reading articles about community aid to recovery from any situations.

I am from a community that was hit by terrorists attack in the western part of Africa coupled with the economic and societal problem living as a woman has become doubly tasking. I had already established a business(cryptocurrency, small scale business) and internet lectures might not be an expert in any of the above field but the little knowledge I gain from my various source can be a building block for members of my community.

A community does not necessarily have to wait on the government for aids members of the community can rise and work together to tackle some of there issues even before aids Can come. a good community also breaths peace, and peace is the answer to most of the global problem.

Food for thought•••The power of a strong community can not be overemphasized. It can be the path to a successful nation in general

I would take you seriously if you can show me where I mentioned merit in my post
483  Other / Beginners & Help / Massive thread quotation can create an eye sore on: November 24, 2018, 07:33:53 AM
 Hello crypto hot heads.

There is actually nothing wrong with quoting message but when it is a being abused for some inordinate reasons(increasing post count, spamming e.t.c) can make a thread unattractive and sickening.

There are various post that has received quote abused but this particular one would serve as a reference
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030847.0
I must say the original post was quite a nice and informative post but with unnecessary quote replies  mostly all ending with "thank you" made the post lose quality. Having a quick look at the OP profile it's noticed that the individual last active was October 27 and last posted on September 17 and has some negative trust with all this is not hard to decipher that the OP is either banned or does not have any interest in the forum there is no need dropping thank you after thank you messages.

Let's not contribute to spamming. before we drop a message let's do a little check on it and make sure it is right. It's not really much of a task
484  Other / Politics & Society / Corruption (from an insider) on: November 23, 2018, 09:15:20 AM
What is corruption?
Corruption can be easily be regarded as an untruthful and fraudulent, dishonest action by people, company or government.

For so long the menace of corruption has eaten deep into government especially those in the under developed countries leaving the poor masses in penury.

Corruption on the part of government can range from
* misuse of national funds
* fraudulently converting national find and asset to personal property
* rigging election
* tempering with governmental records  and so many more

Corruption can lead to the downfall of any economy the acts of very greedy politicians all in search of the personal gains ignoring the cries and yarn of there subordinates with issues (like unemployment, low power supply, inflation, poor health care, poor educational institution and  a general low standard of living) being a constant experience in developing and under developed countries

Globally citizens in more advanced countries might be able to read or watch on the news issues of corruption in the not so advanced country and feel they know what's going on well let me state it that it far from there understanding even most news agency are corrupt and and are poppets in the hands of this corrupts leaders and only put out what they want them to put out.

Corrupt leaders get away with practically any corrupt practice without being sanctioned for it while preying on the rights of the masses.  As a citizen with low income you are not regarded and are striped off the right as a human.

The economy of a corrupt country is dilapidated but it's of no concern to the politicians because most relocate there families to more advanced economy and they don't really fill the menace they are causing on the nation rather they do more inhuman act by taking the funds of the country and investing it in advanced countries. The wealth of this gluttons can be over emphasized Forbes magazine don't put politicians in the list of wealthiest man if they where and all the hidden asset where calculated it would surprise you to know that politicians in developing countries like West Africa would out weigh politicians in developed countries.

This issue has become a global issue and needs to be tackled by global agencies like United Nations and other good will countries.
There are alot happening that the rest of the world don't realise
485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you love most about the crypto space? on: November 23, 2018, 08:24:51 AM
I wanted to ignore the post not until I took a peep into your profile and noticed this your first activity. OK am also a newbie as well post like this a quite unnecessary and a part of the reasons some members are avoiding this board of the forum. Try putting more effort in achieving much more from the forum. We have tons of spammers already we won't want to lose you as well to the virus
486  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk is growing up so fast. 9 years old today on: November 23, 2018, 08:19:48 AM
I have been here not even up to a week as at the writing of this reply but I have been elevated already both in cryptocurrency and off cryptocurrency and for over nine years the forum has be impacting in multitude of individuals I think if there is a position for the ninth wonders of the world bitcointalk forum stands a chance.

A forum that's cuts across various countries eliminating most problems faced when nationality gathers like racism, sexism e.t.c. I have no doubt that the forum is a trail blazer in the cryptocurrency forum sector.

Made up of very enlightened and educative member I cheers and celebrate with everyone in the forum to the ninth year of the forum and I know there would be more fruitful years ahead
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto adoption on: November 21, 2018, 06:15:03 PM
Well in as much as I am a crypto enthusiast I doubt cryptocurrency can't  get a complete global adoption there a various reasons why cryptocurrency can get a complete global adoption and even if it where to it might be forced to lose it decentralized system and become under regulation to curtail scams and fraud.

Cryptocurrency is base on a blockchain technology which means it's runs on technology there are so countries that are not technically advanced or experience a whole lot of internet service issues this can pose a hindrance in transferring crypto funds while some citizens all can be to old and stubborn to change there traditional way of transaction, also some religious beliefs can also be of hindrance.

Cryptocurrency should have a bright future from the looks of things but it would not be easy to gain total global adoption
488  Other / Meta / Re: Post Deleted - Standing up for bitcoin. on: November 21, 2018, 11:43:10 AM
Just reading your post "it always was since the said BCH is BITCOIN..... It died wink" even if I was the moderator I would delete it myself because it's incorrect, so very causal, unimportant  and unfit to be on the forum

Firstly there is no war with bitcoin and bitcoin cash so I don't understand you saying you stood up for bitcoin. You should probably read more about bitcoin fork because bitcoin cash was form after a fork on bitcoin

And reading the original post you commented to it was in contrast to your reply and deserve to be deleted.
489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling - help needed! on: November 21, 2018, 10:41:17 AM
Firstly to be honest this a questions you would be able to ask and get answers on google

 But since you already here
Question 1. It wouldn't take too long for you to be able to sell. But there was a release from binance that they will bring back limited users registration so that to say they will have a limit of user That would be able to register each day.

Question 2. You would be able to sell when your registration is approved.

Question 3. K.Y.C is needed during your verification

Question 4. Binance by trade volume is the top most exchanges but there are other features that other top exchanges can compete with it.

And to your end remark I would advice you to cultivate the habit of browsing the internet first. Google is your friend
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: anyone know these address? on: November 21, 2018, 10:13:10 AM
It would be proper to state your reason for wanting to know

No member would want to unconsciously support scam or any fraudulent activities

Because if the wallet is your you would definitely know which coin it is affiliated to
491  Economy / Speculation / A quick peek at bitcoin history of dumps on: November 20, 2018, 06:50:09 PM
With the recent drop of bitcoin to less than 5000$ it has been greeted with mixed feelings by cryptocurrency enthusiast around the world. So many critics has jumped at this situation making boost of there earlier claims that this would happen and even predicting more down fall.

But if there is one thing I have learnt so far from cryptocurrency is that it's prices are volatile and can pump and dump. This won't be the first time bitcoin is dumping and everytime it gets back up.

In that regards let take a little history walk into bitcoin dumps

*june 2011-- this was the little price period days of bitcoin at this moment the price of one bitcoin was $32.00 and it dropped to as low as $2.00

*January 2012--- after bitcoin must had started it recovery process  from its first major drop it has a little  growth up until January 2012 where it experienced yet again it second consequential drop. Bitcoin took a leap down from  $7.40 to $3.80

* April 2013--- bitcoin picked up from its second fall and was growing graciously to the surprise of those that must had panicked during it dumped. Bitcoin grew to a good price of $260.00 before going down again to a sad depth of $40.00

* November 2013. After the third drop bitcoin started an upward movement given birth to a bullish run bitcoin beat the 1000$ mark and headed to $1,200 before dropping again to $150.00

* November 2017. 2017 was the year of bitcoin alot of investor gained during this year bitcoin in this year reached it all time highs of $20,000 before dropping again to a price of $14,000 there was not so much complains because investors at the beginning of 2017 bought it at a low price compared to what it reach later on in that same year

November 2018---- this is the current drop we are experiencing as bitcoin took a down fall from around $6326 and is dropping to the price as at the moment of this write up $4598.34

We hope that this like it has always done lead to another good rise. The current situation might be bad but let's take solace in the fact that bitcoin has always rising after a fall.

PS believe in bitcoin and hodl
492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I bought my 1st BTC 2 weeks ago for $6 500 ("Lucky"). Pls recommend next steps on: November 20, 2018, 09:31:45 AM
Allow me to say welcome to the forum and I wouldn't say you did a wrong thing to purchase bitcoin at that period.
The cryptocurrency market is experiencing a bad period currently at the moment.
I made a post not to long ago about discussing pressing matters like this and I was gifted with this link

I think you will find it helpful as well.

493  Other / Meta / I appeal enlightened and higher rank member to start up threads more often on: November 20, 2018, 07:29:48 AM
Ever since I got here I have been in a search for knowledge and I have been browsing through various sections and I am blessed any time I come across a very informative and educative post that would have required some sort of financial funds to get such information outside the forum(buying books, attending lectures e.t.c)
And I am very appreciative

We have very knowledgeable member in this forum that has so much to impact on the forum but some has become reluctant or vexed probably because of the degrading works of some no good individuals(spammers) this particular sect of people tend to take a large ratio of posts in most section and it makes it difficult searching for educative post because you would need flipping pages after pages.

Please I make this sincere appeal on behalf of myself and every other knowledge seeker like myself to the educated members of the forum to share there knowledge across various sections of the forum more often there is so much happening in the cryptocurrency world recently that can cause panic and confusion
*bitcoin and altcoins prices are dropping rapidly
*the fork that recently happened on BTC cash
And many more pressing topics that requires more elaboration from senior members

We would love an expert view and break down of the whole situation it's time we take a break from merit, ranking and other unproductive post and rub minds together about recent happenings in the crypto world.

I once again thanks everyone that has contributed positively to the forum Your works has been helpful. Wish you more strength
494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why getting merit without helful post? on: November 19, 2018, 06:39:09 PM
You have alot of hindrance prevent you from getting merited and whining about merit wouldn't get you any merit also. And beside a post that is not useful to you might be useful to another member so there is no range used to measure the usefulness of a post. If you can be honest to yourself you would know that you and the rest unmerited member you stated have made merit an obsession or not been constructive enough and merit would continue to elude you guys until the right thing is done. If one can't not get merit from a member if a forum there are some merit sources that are always going through searching for meritable post to award merit It's never to late to start making good contribution

PS. You can start to become useful to the forum by locking this thread and not making any like this anymore
495  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn from this forum? on: November 19, 2018, 04:10:52 PM
Your desire to earn is not so out of the box but it has to be done the right way. You are a new member as I am and just like in any other professions a rookie can just start earning right way you have to first pay attention to details and gain enough knowledge about cryptocurrency
You can get advice to join some bounty program but I had already done a research on that and I have come to the conclusion that half of them end up to be scam and abort part of the other half does not pay well(its rear to see any of them paying in BTC or other established coin)

And it's not only disadvantageous to you if you don't first learn before you earn the forum can also feel the wrought due to the fact that you would not contribute meaningfully here but rather be part of the unfair group of spammers.

Crypto offer a bigger prizes in the long run just like me you might not be financially stable but. Suffer now but learning and reap much in the future I know you can do it come on
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware telegram malware, virus and phishing tools! on: November 19, 2018, 03:54:31 PM
Sending Malware, virus and phishing tools is one of the ways fraudster and hackers carry out there activities not only on telegram but across so many social media platforms. It's not so easy for a platform or channel that has millions of users or subscribers to regulate things that are sent between users. They have done there part by educating people about scammers and creating avenue to block and report spam.
We have the obligation to protect ourselves from this bad eggs we are humans and curiosity is part of human feelings so we can hit a malware once in a while

But if we have some required protection like employing 2fa authenticator that act as a double layer protection from intruders in case the first layer of protection is broken. Having password and code alone is not a guarantee safety precautions with 2fa authenticator there is other level of security that would needed to passed(could be what only the true owner knows or is in possession of).
This is just a great measure that needs to be taken to protect ourselves
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Cap below $170 Billion. Where is the bottom? on: November 19, 2018, 02:49:36 PM
Well firstly when ever a marker drops it is referred to as bearish market and bullish is the opposite. I don't think there is any pegged bottom amount or any pegged recovery state either cryptocurrency market like most market is volatile and can rise and fall and the moment things are not all so good but when a good bullish market strategies are employed our loses can be minimal
498  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another step in my cryptocurrency knowledge quest on: November 19, 2018, 02:26:25 PM
Let me use the medium  thank everyone for there warm kind welcome and advices am really energised by this. I was brought up to think that it is a man's world and women are meant to be in the background. But I have overcome that and it's lovely been here already bumped into so many helpful thread. Already done a good scout around, understood a lot of terms in crypto. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126798.0
 *Investment and trading strategies
*How to protect my self and my wallet against scammer and lots more.

PS I think it's proper to lock the thread now. Thanks once again
499  Other / Meta / Re: Now Apriand isnt me on: November 19, 2018, 07:42:13 AM
It's sad to know about your lost account. I might not be in the best position for this but from my view you saw bitcointalkforum as a means to achieve wealth(bounty hunting) alone that's why you offered it as a collateral in the first place you bastardized it by that action and it's totally wrong. I hope you get it back and refrain from such
500  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's aid the not so fluent in English on: November 18, 2018, 11:27:25 AM
Just as you stated the obvious, the community is a varsely large one, comprising of various individuals from various countries with various native languages..
That being said, just like"you"said the forum hence has created local boards,in order to be user--friendly and quell the language barrier issue..
Also individuals on the forum aren't espected to speak pure queens/kings Grin English, the major issue is coherence, which makes your text readable/understandable..

If one isn't coherent in his/her post, how then do you expect others users to understand and act upon such posts...
The right thing for such user would be to stick on their local boards while trying to develop his/her English..
And this days the internet has made it so easy to do that, there are tons and tons of YouTube videos,as well as online grammar lessons that could brush up ones English rather quicker than before..

The forum shouldn't always be the one to help us solve our problems,we are here to discuss, not to hand out English lessons
You have a good command of English you are gaining from the forum you don't have to be so unconcerned about other people. And like I said some languages are not on the local board
