When I read Vertoe's posting I sprang wood that'd make a Viagra marketing exec's eye's turn into saucers. I grabbed hold of it (Vertoe's post that is) like it "was my precious" and couldn't wait to rub Toknormal's nose in it. Oh yes, me and my tented trousers are dancing around in joyful delight! How exquisite!!! Hahaha, that is really funny, its a pity his posts don't form a leading edge of 10 minutes then we could trade on it to our advantage and smooth could finally have a raison d'etre in life. There's surely a CFD someone could pull together around this! Perhaps we could design an algorithm that assesses each of smooth's posts and allocates a "troll factor" from 1 to 10. This is then one of several added to a basket of troll activity that's monitored to create a reportable index compared against DASH's price to facilitate a secondary CFD market we can trade on. The dynamics would be hard to understand (a bit like trying to determine what drives people to become trolls in the first place) and it would be highly volatile, but it would add a whole other interesting factor into the mix! |

Hilarious! I think you need to do another graph that shows the "troll level" factor in his posts tracked against DASH's price as I have a feeling the price goes up when he's posting most ardently as a troll and the price eases off when he's being reasonable (like in his last post he's speaking normally and with relatively respectful terms/expressions yet DASH is easing.....when he's as per his more usual style, the price starts ascending again). We can then provide some sort of incentive to him to do "his very best" trolling which will help things along nicely. |

Interesting. The Matrix series of films suggests a "simulation" we're all likely a part of, except I don't believe that upon breaking out of it we'll find ourselves still within physical bodies wired up to some gigantic computer that's using us for evil intent. It's more likely that what appears to be a physical realm we're all occupying, with all its drama, tragedy and chaos, is but a mock up of what's real and what we experience in this supposed realm depends on the depth of our convictions and belief of its reality and that what's conveyed to us by our five physical senses is indeed truth. As per the "8 veils" video, this is what most people never ever question because they accept all these "authorities". It's just the same as how I could let myself be mesmerised into believing numbers and notes can only be used if I have physical instances of them - so when I want to do sums I have to get my boxed set of physical numbers made of wood or plastic out and arrange them on the table in front of me and I only have so many '4's and '7's and '8's etc, so am limited in what sums I can do....an absurdity of course). Likewise we've been mesmerised into believing we're trapped in matter in these physical bodies that are easily destroyed yet matter is most likely just a construct of the human mind; nothing more. Ultimately "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding" will become as common an understanding as "I am alive, I have a physical body, I exist now but I will be dead sometime in the future" and we will transform into what we really always have been, way way beyond our current limited perspective.  Righto! There's your completely whacko right-out-there-on-the-distant-edge commentary for the day and my outing of myself as "insane". It was given a big boost to its marketcap after the dev sold the project to such a high profile person within crypto. Use the opportunity to build on that and do something positive with it. With an appropriately handled fork you could work with the community there and turn it into something far bigger and better than what it ever would have been. Surely that's a more worthy outcome than spending all your time here crying "they stole...they stole...!" when we did nothing of the sort (really, it's completely pathetic and the phrase "get a life" is entirely appropriate). |

One of the good things about been here for a while is one can recognize some of the characters. Do you remember when you use to think XC was the best and it should be added to Moolah for it to be successful?  Or when you thought Mindfox and Cryptcoin was great?  Or when you thought Supercoin was the one? currently SuperCoin have the best and convenience wallet then them all, better then Darkcoin, XC and VeriCoin. all other coins still using debug window to send anonymous transaction.
edit; Darkcoin now have darksend checkmark. all other coins still lack the status green/yellow/red lights SuperCoin have which tell if SuperSend is ready and available to use, a plus.

There are two types of people here, those who want to gain more fiat and those who want to help humanity. Choose your side
This is a noble sentiment, but not entirely true. There are certainly any number of gradations on the scale running from St. Francis of Assisi, to Bill Gates. Now while I consider BG to be little more than a criminal, on any number of measures he could be considered of more help to humanity than S.t Francis. The fact is that the desire for fiat and to help humanity are not mutually exclusive. More to the point of this discussion is the fact that even a "pure" desire to help humanity will not settle this debate. I suspect (in a completely unfounded way ) that I have more in common with the first person sited above, than most folks on this forum; my pursuit of fiat has been, for the most part, to be able to help others who are not in a position to do so. 10 months ago, on a mountain in the middle of a jungle, connected by a feeble long-distance wi-fi link, I wasted some time browsing, and found an ongoing debate between advocates of something called Shadow coin, Monero, and Darkcoin. As a technophile, and someone who witnessed first-hand the devestation wrought by banksters, I was intrigued. The vulgarity, and crudeness were hard to stomach, (not to mention the name "Darkcoin") but for the sake of those I wanted to help, I continued investigating. In the end, having only limited resources of time and even less of money, I had to decide to follow only one. In spite of its name I chose Darkcoin. I chose it not based on superior technology, (which I suspected it had) but on the basis of superior people. They had their share of trolls and FUDers, but they also had a reasoned core of supporters (such as majamina here :-) who reasonably and politely stood up to the FUDers and trolls, or simply ignored them. Even more importantly, Darkcoin's developer, did not live in shadows or participate in the trollfest, but continued, day-in, and day-out, to improve the coin. I saw no ongoing development in the other coins, and their developers did not even deserve the term, from what I could see; they certainly weren't willing to show their faces in the light of day. I returned to the U.S. to teach last September, and began participating in the DRK community, lobbying along with some others for a name change, and slowly trying to acquire a masternode of my own. I now own 908 DASH and hope to buy another $80.00 worth tomorrow. (That is after sending $280 (which is half my pay) to help those I left.") In retrospect seems clear I have made the right decision. Shadow coin is no longer worth discussing, and the general tenor of Monero backers supports the market's judgment of them. In large part it was the incessant screams of "instamine," which I was perfectly capable of investigating on my own, which drove me from them. Maybe they are right, and their tech is better, to me it makes no difference, the caliber of their people out-weights any consideration of the tech. It grieves me to think that most of you probably have no idea what I am talking about, and will never know the joy of being invited to share a meager meal with those who would not be alive but for your small involvement with them. Should you want to experience this, pm me, and I will be happy for you to accompany me on my next trip. It is my hope that it will not be too long before a masternode will relieve me of the need to return to the States to refill my coffers. If I am wrong, and DASH becomes worth nothing, and Monero takes over the world, I will sleep easy, knowing that Evil men often rule the day while goodness lurks in the dark; that money is but a means to an end, and that character determines the nature of that end. DASH is making more solid progress then ever, now prices going to the moon like skyrocket,
so DASH will hit the maximum high price with this healthy trend.
Yes, tremendous progress. But lets be a bit circumspect with "moon" talk about the price. It's experienced a big rally over the past week but it's around 20% off its recent high and will likely drop a bit more during this correction. And, in terms of $US pricing, it didn't even get to half of its ATH so there's a way to go yet before we break the previous record in actual dollar terms. Lots to be excited about but I think we need to be a bit sensible about what's happening and how quickly it's moving up. (Having said that, it's still possible we'll see a mega rise happen that might catch many out. It would only take one very serious investor to drop a mill or so in and "rocket" probably won't be too far off an appropriate word to use). |

Hey Tungfa Many thanks to you, Daniel, Fernando, Evan (and I know a whole lot of others) for the large amount of work you're all doing around the rebranding. Having worked in corporate environments where similar undertakings have been executed, I know just how much under-the-covers work is involved. What everyone sees and hears about is just the tip of the iceberg. I've been to all the links above. Everything looks great with the updated logo. All fresh, clean and smart. My only comment with the new website would be that I wish the images were a little less "greyed out" as they're great and interesting but the page isn't jumping out at you. It's like you're in a special Windows app and you've just clicked on print or something and the application's put everything into very low contrast "shadow mode" while it's processing the command. I'm sort of expecting it come back and display more fully (or something) but the images stay in that barely visible style. I know the images aren't supposed to be too vivid or they take away from the page's prime purpose and also make the foreground text too hard to read, but they're just a bit too washed out I feel. Also (you probably already know about this) the SSL certificate for Dashtalk.org is obviously registered for Darkcointalk.org so Chrome is giving a warning error upon first hitting the site. All-in-all, great stuff! Thanks again to everyone for their dedication to DASH. |

Thanks Tungfa. b.t.w. what does "MLM" refer to ? I'm guessing it means the same as what MLM usually means - Multi Level Marketing. Reading the Google translated article it's hard to derive the context of why MLM is mentioned but MLMs are huge business in China (as they are in any new market where people haven't yet wised up to the pyramid nature of how they work) and the article's mentioning MLM banners and scams. I'd reckon MLMs are right up there as some of the dodgiest things people can get involved in in China so that's probably how they're referring to it in relation to these fake Darkcoin sites. |

man half of posts are ignored... silly me  hello my dear community, hello trolls For the guys that dont have 1000 Dash to start their own MN... i recommend Splawik21This guy is clearly one of the honest guys i have met in my life... Story: I took loan from bank, 1500€ and I bought 1000 DASH @ 0.0066 then started my masternode, it went really good.... but life came across and i had to sell 550 Dash to cover some expencess because im buying house (i had some old loans in banks that needed to be covered plus that 1500€ loan that i took for 1000 Dash) Then i sent aprox. 650 Dash to splawik to his MN service (my 440 and friends 210), aprox. 15 days ago... and he started MN... Splawik only have one rule, if you want out you need to tell him and give him 7 days for refound! Yesterday was the day i was gonna get my big loan for house from bank! What happened is that bank called me to tell me that i need to pay TAX for house aprox 7.000€ so that i can get complete money for house... i was like wtf can i get those 7.000€ from my loan... they said NO, you need to pay that 1st ... shit i only had around 5.000 € savings... my only choice was that i need those DASH to convert to money to pay that TAX. with sad heart i wrote to splawik21 and tell him...sorry bro i need out...im aware of 7.days rule and i will gladly wait! when he realised what is going on, that im so close to have my own house, my wife could have her big kitchen, and my 2 kids would have their home, he SENT ME 500 DASH to convert to € so that i can pay that TAX and then i can have money from bank avalible to buy house!!!! Im still short for those 150 DASH, but i think splawik will find them ASAP  That friend who have 220 DASH with me said, Rux take my Dash and sell it go finish that with house, when you finish and take money from bank you rebuy me 220 Dash and we continue our life!
