Guys, Anybody knows how to open the qt in a Linux invironment? I have some friends interested on NAV that use Linux Thanks!
You need to compile the wallet yourself from the source code for linux. There are instructions in the source code itself on github. Perhaps get them to jump on the slack channel if they're unable to follow the instructions. Might be worth them waiting for the new wallet though since there will be slightly different libraries required for compiling the new wallet. Cheers, Craig. Thanks for the fast response. If you have a second and can take a look at this would be fab! http://pastebin.com/1zdLnP6t

I was hoping for an update but this is more than I can handle I'm surprised that the recommended way to swap is though an exchange. I hope nothing goes wrong cause I have a significant amount and dont feel like keeping it there. Not after what happened with mintpal 2 years ago. I suppose we dont really have to do anything other than keep the coins in our bittrex accounts and wait for bittrex to credit them on a new address, and then we can withdraw on our new wallet, right? It is all coins from the faucet you have After that you can of course withdraw your coins again. And after that 2 weeks you are also able to swap manually, like said. regards shahim Morning guys! Congrats for the announcement. Quick question: What will happen with Poloniex? at the moment is where most trades are happening.

Unobtanium (UNO) have traced coins 15200 UNO from cryptsy wallet moved to bittrex on 10th April 2016 they have contacted bittrex and asked for the recieving wallet to be frozen while it is investigated. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.msg14494331#msg14494331Top NAV wallet at bittrex has 4500000 Nav these may be coins bought honestly but if someone could check blockchain in case they are from cryptsy. if proved to be cryptsy NAV ask bittrex to freeze wallet. also might be worth checking other coins you own that was on cryptsy that are on bittrex for suspiciously large wallets. this may be nothing but after sundays big dumps on a lot of coins might be worth checking out That wallet has been there even before Cryptsy collapsed. So, If I was you, I would delete that post Salud! Its good to have this information out there though , we would do well to keep track of the "cold" wallet. If found that post very helpful and its exactly what several users here including myself have been warning about maybe its not Nav today but it could be tomorrow. Yes agree with Cyptsy crap, But that wallet has been there forever! I would say more than a year ago... So no need to scare people!!!! And no need to do it when this coin is lifting up and New things are about to come!

I am a long time Nav holder. My wallet is a top 10.
I have always supported this coin. Even in dark times.
I have spent more than £2000 on this coin
I have never fud or talk crap about devs.
I find very worrying and annoying the whole involvement of Soopy on Orange coin. That talks very bad of Nav and the ''Revolutionary anon'' I know in crypto anybody can do anything, but this is very unprofessional. The whole 5 month or 6 month delay on the web wallet and announcements over there about a coin that is very similar to this one.
It's time to be a serious coin. If you are not 100% here. Why to bother?
Cheers.

How different is Navajo Anon compared with Soopy's ''help'' on Masternodes in his parallel project ''Orangecoin''?
Regular masternodes, such as the ones used by darkcoin and orangecoin don't offer total security, merely an extra layer of difficulty for anyone trying to trace your money. A masternode is essentially a user who the coin bounces through. However the NAV system is fully anonymous and secure. Thanks for the prompt response! Welcome to the team.

Why instead of bitching all the time, just stop for a second and READ THE WHOLE POST and also the whitepaper... Raspberry pi staking unit is a great step forward. Decentralization is coming.... NAV Foundation Update Seasons greetings NAV community!
It is with great excitement I come bearing four important gifts for you today.Decentralization White Paper After a long and difficult process of research and development we can finally announce our ground breaking plans to decentralise NAV which will revolutionize blockchain supporting services.
The white paper details how we will remove the reliance on an API to select an incoming server for processing anonymous transactions. Instead, the server list will be written into the wallet itself and distributed through the existing peer to peer mesh network which distributes the blockchain. Each server will become self registering so they can be brought online and begin processing transactions without human intervention.
This type of peer to peer API will be the worlds first implementation of its kind and will forever change the way blockchain services interact with users wallets.
Read the NAV Decentralization White Paper:New Developer Joins the Team Along with the recent addition of our new Business Strategist Sophia, we've recruited another Senior Developer to help with the decentralization of NAV and the BIP32 implementation.
Paul is an experienced and talented programmer who was Craig's professional mentor for a number of years. He will be a valuable asset to the team and help to speed up the release of the decentralized technology.
With Paul, Sophia and Craig all living in the same city it will make their collaboration on the project a much more dynamic process. Paul will be formally introduced on the forum in the coming days.NAV Raspberry Pi Staking Unit We are in the process of designing and developing a Raspberry Pi controlled Staking Unit for NAV. The final implementation will be a Raspberry Pi with an interactive touch screen which allows you to setup the wallet address, view the balance and withdraw the coins all from the touch screen. All you will need to do is plug it into the network, send it some coins to stake and it will begin earning you coins. This will allow coins to be earned with very minimal setup and running costs. (Artist impression, not actual product)The beta version of the Raspberry Pi image is ready for user testing and will be available for download over the next few days. This version will not include the touch screen capability, so if you want to try it, you will need to login to your Raspberry Pi, manually generate a wallet address and withdraw mined coins through its terminal interface.
When the touch screen implementation is ready to go, we will setup an online store where you can purchase the Rasperry Pi Staking units directly from us, all setup and ready to plug in.
New Github Repository We have moved the NAV repository from Soopy's personal account to a shared github account which we all are contributing to. In an effort to be more transparent about the projects status we want you to follow our progress in delivering the anonymous decentralization via this github account.
New NAV Repository: https://github.com/navajocoindev/navajocoin
Craig & Paul will primarily be working on NAV's decentralization which has been labelled as NAV Improvement Proposal 1 (NIP1).
You can follow their progress here:
https://github.com/navajocoindev/navajocoin/tree/NIP1-decentralization
Soopy continues to work on the HD Wallet BIP32 implementation to allow for us to build both mobile and web wallets.
They will be regularly committing their code over the next few weeks so you have as close to real time updates on progress as possible.
We will begin our social media and PR campaigns this afternoon to advertise the decentralization white paper. The projects page of the website will also be updated shortly to reflect the new status and road map of our projects.
We remain committed to this coin and moving it forward with continuing to deliver world class work into 2016.
Stay tuned and please remember to help us by sharing any content we provide through your networks.
Best Wishes and Happy Holidays
- NAV Development Team

Hmmmm, I'm still not convinced. In 6 (six) months we have an update that essentially prepares us for an update that we probably won't see until next year? can someone please show me what I am missing here that we should be so excited about? Isn't it just a rewording of what we have been promised months ago? Is this not just an update that says there is another update coming? (note no time scale either). Soppy said "he would rather just show us, than talk about it" but isn't this just that? Im not trying to fud, i am trying to figure out for all the REAL long term investors like myself exactly whats going on here and trying to get some real perspective. This "update" doesn't "appear" to do anything. There are no fixes to the problems we have highlighted months ago. Don't get me wrong, if (after the last 6 months of silence) we got everything thats promised in the next 3 stages as an update I would be over the moon. But there seems no point in this update if it doesn't actually do anything until the others are delivered? Please help me see what I am missing. I think this is a positive way to do the updates. Do you remember when Anon was released? It was a mistake not to prepare the grounds for a smooth transition. In this case, it looks that dev team learned about that mistake. Chapeau from here mate!

someone sell 600k nav on bittrex. Oh well...at least we are at the top in trexx...
|
|
|
Hi guys. I understand the frustration of NAV holders. I am one of them.
Now looking at Remy's charts and Bittrex distribution I can tell that people keep accumulating and top wallets haven't dumped at all...Top 3 wallets in Trexx still the same. If you look careful you'll see that dev's have been buying as well. Now...I see lots of people complaining...I understand them. That's the flaw of Navajo coin (or it seems to be). But also I see lots of people just fudding to make a quick profit which doesn't help at all.
I think now is the time for Dev to stand out and defend the coin. Release the Kraken!!!
While this shit is on, I keep buying....
Salud!
