Goin' down to the libary to rent you up some movies?

I dig it.

I dig it, but I am not a huge fan of italics...makes me feel like someone is going used car salesman on me.

Man, how is it that so many seemingly intelligent people on these forums don't understand what construes libel and slander, let alone the differences between the two?

Slander - a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report.

DEEPBIT = ENEMY OF BITCOIN

Maybe I can't prove that this statement is slanderous.  But I doubt that he can be proven to be true.

I've never said anything about libel nor being "seemingly intelligent" either.  Smiley
Sam

That statement is in print, making it libel.

Point proven.

Except that one of the most common defenses to libel is "reasonable belief" that the statements are true, where "reasonable belief" usually means that the idea can be entertained by a rational person.  Clearly, many here are entertaining the idea by trying to form rational arguments against the OP.

I couldn't care less about the basis and defense of the claims, I was merely pointing out that for a bunch of intelligent people, few seem to grasp the difference between the two terms.

I like Tycho, he seems intelligent and industrious...but I would never point my power at deepbit. It is just too counter-intuitive to the reasons I am here. If I set up rigs again any time soon, p2pool will be it, with a voluntary donation to support its development.

It is never more efficient there is always intra-node overhead.

Unless of course you are talking about BFL's rig box. Tongue

Traveling, so I sold my rigs.

Sounds like the start of a country song.

No, that would be selling off my pigs to travel in my rig...and probably smacking up my wife and Budweiser would be somewhere in the mix as well.

Deepbit is a pedophile rapist to a succulent teenage bitcoin. That is not libel, nor slander. Call the internet police.

Man, I just looked at the donation stats, and despite not mining for almost four months, I am still 23rd in donations. Y'all cheap as hell, dawg.

Why did you stop mining?  Hardware failure?  Fatigue?  Cynicism?  Or did you already achieve your ultimate goal of becoming a bitcoin billionaire?  Just wondering.

Traveling, so I sold my rigs.

Five days left. These should already be in the mail. Who has their tracking info?

I've also got the RV02. It looks ultra sharp, and having the whole bottom lined with 180mm fans that have speed switches is awesome. It also has dust filters, which are like maintenance gold. I haven't found a single dog or cat hair in my box, I just pull the filters and shop-vac them off and I'm golden. Also, as jake pointed out, because of the vertical orientation, the PSU draws air from outside the case (with another filter!) and exhausts it outside the case. And there's a fancy window to show off you tri-fired liquid cooled goodness.

OP is an idiot, please stop these threads.

Late Poster has no sense of humor, please stop commenting in these threads.

I certainly have a sense of humor, I just prefer posts with more substance and thought.  I know this is the internet so I have to set the bar low but when OP posts three threads in five minutes it is a little much. CRASH!!!, RALLY!!!!, BTC TAKEOFF!!!!...I understand the humor, OMG bitcoin could go either way wow! It is just there is a point where these types of threads reach a point of over saturation...a point long passed by our "Hero" members.

You should probably apply for mod privileges and ban everyone who cracks a joke. Then BTC will really take off. You can tell how upset everyone is with people posting things. It makes me sick just thinking about it.

I believe the standard defines 1.5cm of movement or something like that. This is only .5cm yet makes a massive difference to temperatures.

what are those pegs made of and where can i get some?  i'm having temp issues.

i got cgminer installed and working!
Great!

They're... pegs... as in clothes pegs, for a clothes line. I just pulled them apart. You get them... everywhere and these particular ones are made of... plastic.

i don't know how you're keeping your temps under control with cards that close.  i have 2 cards that close and the top one is running 102C using cgminer with fan at 100%.

Vertical orientation on the motherboard, FTW. Those raven cases are pretty spiffy. Venting heat out of the top makes a hell of a lot more sense than trying to work it out the back, past a bunch of things that are  sucking it up again.

How did you get a photo of my outhouse?

From Randy's other sister.

that tattoo looks so fat. LOL

That's a tattoo? I thought it was a bruise from resting her belly on things.

If I wasn't so lazy, I'd add my own TA with an animated graph of MtGox prices and the benny hill music...
497  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling MTGox Code grabber IRC Bot on: January 24, 2012, 11:58:04 PM
Nobody want to buy it...? Going down to 0.5BTC, may go less...

I'm not sure lots of people would want to pay for a script as simple as detecting any occurrence of a string starting with MTGOX- with the right length (and if you went far enough, with the SHA256 matching) and just calling our API to try to redeem it, plus if this becomes widespread we may add a throttle on failed attempts here too.

This seems like it should be the least of your concerns with all the shit people have been dealing with on your exchange...

So you are suggesting I replace my precious Koi with these hellish creatures:

No thanks. Its so ugly I wouldnt even want to eat it Smiley.

If I were in it for the money, I even think growing Koi is the better investment. Though I would need warmer water... (or indoor winter tanks).

Oh, there are some prettier species than that but they are all pretty fugly in the grand scheme of things.

I only suggested tilapia cause it can tolerate the highest density. You could grow out some walleye pike or something awesome like that, but like all the other delicious apex predator fish, they are super cannibalistic and have like, 90% mortality on an ok run.

I know a couple people who culture Koi in California and make a good amount of money on it, but for every nice koi, there are a thousand flushers.
