I think the answer is both so I can explain how. You should trade into altcoins because the market is very volatile Nowadays so you can get some good profits. But it requires a very good skill set otherwise you'll lose assets.
You should invest only in well established projects like BTC, ETH and SOL etc. They will give you some good profits for long term holdings. Otherwise investing in low cap coins or heavy volatile coins in this sort of phase can be profitable but it's very risky. Yes you can have some risks and gain profits if you can afford to.

For the last 2 days, we had seen no match of PSL, the day before yesterday was the day where was the break of PSL matches but yesterday again was like a break but yesterday was not a break that was a disappointment. There was no Babar Azam vs Shaheen Shah Afridi clash. They said to come to Sri Lanka and in Sri Lanka all the matches had been abandoned because in every single match, the rain had been coming and we could not see a proper match. I remembered this moment, When first match of Pakistan and India abandoned after some overs..India batsmen was struggling against Pakistani bolwers and their mains wickets falls earlier but somehow they manage to score but rains comes and match abandoned without any results. That time Pakistani fans were saying that India was praying for rain but when other match between these two teams played in world cup, India proved that they are so good and can beat any team. bull season already started in the start of Feb . BTC rose more than 10% which is bullish sign for whole crypto market. Many altcoins shows a great movement. ETH which was stuck below 2500$ finally start journey to break ATH although still almost 1500$ rose required which will not happen in week. If spot ETF approved then maybe happens soon then expectations. Solona,Avax,Inj and all major coins are now in great position and if anyone took entry in Bear season I believe that their portfolio will be more than 2x now. If btc remains stable for two days more above 60k then we might see a real altcoins bullish cycle. |

Honestly as far as my experience is concerned you cannot get the amount of profit and value you're looking for without investing into the projects. Yes there are some platforms that'll allow you to play some games and earn some NFTs but they'll either be very hard work and gain of low value or a waste of time.
It's common sense that if a project is offering free play and they'll spend on you then how they'll earn through? The modes could be different but they have to make some of the revenue models in order to excel with this competition in the market.

Yes you're right I don't see TON as the next big altcoin.Its a good project to get some quick profits but it's never recommended for a long term investment.It solves issues like payments with small fees, Faster payments, decentralization in payments but these features are nowadays in every coming altcoin.
USP( unique selling proposition) is missing somewhere I think of TON. It doesn't offer you much creativity and in an era of that much competition it's very difficult for it to compete here. It has good profit points for now so use it for daily trade and quick profits. It's integrated with telegram which can gives some positive attraction especially when airdrop hunters need tons for airdrop form then it value will be increased.

I think it'll get approved but will take some time. Sol is the project that is the most similar to ETH than any other coin in the market.They both are used for NFT, Gaming and other staking purposes, this makes a much wider use case of both projects. So if the ETH for approved then I hope that Sol must also get approved likewise in the next stage.
Now what's the difference then? The difference is that SOL has a shorter ecosystem than ETH. Sol is not that much established in the market as ETH is so this can make a little bit of difference.ETH is more accepted in Defi space. I hope this will clear the picture a little bit but ETF is not one day approval system and SEC will check coin from every aspect.
