Well its always started with bitcoin. Once the btc movement is good then it will be followed by altcoin rally as per historical data. Were in the stage of waiting of bitcoin cycle bull after halving so right now its full of uncertainty and could dump or retracement action. I doubt that it will go straight to pump as correction might be imminent.

Altcoins will not have their bull market and bull runs if Bitcoin is in a bear market.

The mandatory condition is Bitcoin must kick off its bull run and trigger a very positive sentiment in cryptocurrency market. After Bitcoin bull run, social media will have many news about this market, that will bring more newbies to this market. More people will bring their fresh money flow to this market and will help altcoins to bump.

It is a second condition for altcoin bull runs and by this, I believe altcoin season will not happen before Bitcoin halving. It usually will happen in late of the halving year and will reach peak in first quarter of one year after halving, in Q1 2025.

I dunno what price chart you are using but Altcoin market is already on bullrun since the last quarter of 2023. Most of my altcoin holdings already grow at least x2 already which you can only experienced during bull run. Bitcoin is already on 40K level which is just 20K before it reach ATH.

Altcoin bull market season is already started. We are just waiting for the peak to come on this current trend. Probably when Bitcoin already reach new ATH since Bitcoin dominance will decrease that time after the hype.

Well, we just have to wait for bitcoin bull run and probably we will see altcoins next. But I just want to clear it up to you that bitcoin bull run does not guarantee an altcoin bull run. There are times that only bitcoin and some potential altcoins only make a massive price increase and the rest are just steady on their present value. When that happens, it’s hard to predict or speculate when will be the real altcoin bull run.

However, since we still can’t predict correctly as to when it will come, then it’s better to just prepare for it and find some good altcoins that you can buy and store in your wallet. I believe altcoins have a lot of potentials that they’ll go massive in the future, but the problem is that time remains uncertain up to these days.

Where there's smoke there's fire. So what you should only concern yourself about is when's bitcoin going to pump. Why? Well for the most part whenever bitcoin pumps in value and in relevance the whole industry along with the altcoins and sometimes even shitcoins follow suit. Everyone wants to get a piece of the crypto pie and when they see that bitcoin's pumping out of control and have the misconception that they couldn't catch it, they start reinvesting their efforts and money onto altcoins. Or sometimes there are just people like you who swear by altcoins and when they see that the industry is thriving they just buy as much altcoins as they like, all of this is happening but the concept remains the same, bitcoin pumps, it takes everyone with it.

As with bitcoin and any other A-list cryptocurrency on the market right now though, I don't think people should wait for the first sign of pump/bull run before they begin to take action and invest money, it's way better to be as early as possible and reap all the possible profits that you can get while you're at it than be late and miss out on a lot of stuff. And since altcoins are cheaper anyway it doesn't make investing in it hard unlike with bitcoin where newbies will get discouraged by its high value. Don't wait for the bull run, invest as early as you can and then reap the benefits when the bull run arrives, that's how most people in this industry profit.

Most of the time altcoins pump is after before the halving and after the bull run but things change, don't follow the historical moves of the market but you can use them as a reference and get prepared just in case before they start. As you can see as the halving is approaching, some altcoins have started to peak and recover and even Bitcoin mempool experienced more transactions, don't be caught by whale manipulation because usually, bitcoin prices don't pump on the halving day, they pump before the halving a month before it happen.

The moment halving concludes, that is when you see a particular trend in altcoin and start shooting up because they are usually the low caps that start such run and then others follow and you will most likely see that the rest of the existing coins will rebrand to the same trend just like we had Defi in the last bull run, none of the existing coins were doing anything like defi not until Uniswap was launched and others follow the trend and some of them lose money, so be careful of the type of altcoins you want to buy and sell.

That was the pattern until the last rally in 2021. The expectation is that altcoins begin to bull once Bitcoin has done its rally but we didn't see that in the last bull rally that pushed Bitcoin to $69+. It was disappointing as some of us waited to see what would become of our portfolios. I can't stick out my neck this time around what alts will do. Though I'm picking alts I think are viable and expecting that they come up in price too, hopefully the dynamics of the market still remain the way they were in the past so they can print nice bullish candles.

it has already started, there are just altcoins that were left out but obviously, there are altcoins ahead of the bull run like SOL. i think we are just in the middle of a dip and this rise will continue where it left off. we'll be seeing another spike of the tokens in the next months.

this 2024 has been predicted to be a bullish year for crypto because of BTC halving and spot ETF. it's just what it needs to make the altcoins a massive run. it could happen after halving but you may have to buy already because prices are gradually going up.

All you have to do is wait for bitcoin to run then everything else (altcoins) will start to run.  Trading altcoins is not the best way to maximize profits though.  Most people end up losing more than they make trading altcoins.  I'd say very few do it successfully at a high rate.  Either way I think we are going to see alts surge here shortly.

Altcoins are different and if you noticed, many of them have already shown a very good movement, which amounts to several hundred percent profit. But it is not worth expecting that such coins will also increase rapidly in price in 2024, it is better to focus on buying such altcoins, the price of which has not yet increased and, accordingly, the profit from the sale will be higher.

current mini bullrun also shown that some altcoins aren't really following the path of bitcoin and ethereum. some of them are just having their own moments so I assume its gonna be the same in the future if there's any altcoin season it will just be like current situation, though surely if the altcoin season truly arrives we will see massive bullrun thats even more significant than it is right now, but we can't really predict when the real altcoin season will arrive but from my experience its usually when bitcoin done hitting almost of its all time high, usually around that time most of altcoin also just gonna increase massively.
this could also means that we still have some time for us to invest in some altcoin before the real altcoin seasonn arrive then at that time it will be massive rally from here on, be sure not to get too greedy otherwise we will miss out many opportunities.

what I do believe is that altcoin season mostly happens after bitcoin Bull happens so basically with what we have coming in halving that said to be bringing market another ATH(at least what had happened in the previous halving) then that would be the altcoin season coming.
but make sure to expect other movements as altcoin is not that accurate comparing to what he have seen in Bitcoin , about the index? if we will all look at it , is there any accuracy we can find every 4 years cycle?it is you that can answer that mate.
