481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 03:44:34 PM
Your losses will surely stop you from gambling.
But don't let it go beyond you cannot feed yourself anymore from putting everything in your gambling addiction.
Sure, it's fun and I don't blame you for the joy it could bring but there should always be limits on how much you will spend on it.
Just like how you buy your own clothing or everyday food, a budget is being set so you won't feel the guilt of spending too much for low quality.
Use that in gambling too, set a budget, and once it's used up take a rest.

If a loss could stop others from gambling, the gambling community might have been better since then but the opposite result is that a loss only enriches one's gambling mentality, quite a few people have acknowledged this when they are bitter when they fail, their goal is revenge and like an action movie, a revenge maniac will have nothing to stop them until the mission is complete. Complete for our selves is the smallest amount in the budget and cannot be deposited for gambling, so I just like to gamble by online game genre, deposit a little money to get a corresponding amount of assets, satisfy whenever possible
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: August 13, 2021, 04:09:27 PM
Memecoin trend has already subside,  nft is actually trending with game based token.  Memecoin trend will come back in the future and I aiming to buy more Shiba inu as it is very decentralized and I love what it represents.  If one however by shitty Memecoin,  just consider your money gone!
This small disappearance for you is insignifican when you are probably just a person who often buys lottery, winning only needs to put in a small amount of money, losing a little money can also try again in the next time but other people don't have such a level of perception, meme coin for them is a big exchange and can be a big success. Shiba Inu is one of the trusted representatives of the get rich revolution and as usual, nothing more special, except for the extremely sharp price drop following such demand.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: August 13, 2021, 03:50:18 PM
Poverty is a relatively relative term, and everyone can define poverty.
If poverty is eliminated, it means that the world is equal and fair.
The most basic way to get rid of poverty is to rely on labor and get how much money you do. But it is difficult to cross classes. The more you go up, the more you need to broaden your horizons and increase your knowledge reserves.
Poor people are slow to accept information and will accept wrong information.
Learn to control risks, control risks, control desires, and save money.

No matter how equally you divide the wealth there will still be some people who have more money and and still many people who have less money.
Without this the difference in the world we cannot find people who are willing to do odd jobs or fulfill them.
Equally distributed in a day but the future is still ahead, the intellectual and environmental gap and the work that each person is doing will take away the assets of those who are limited in this problems, more precisely, what a person can do creates value and judgment around them, can't let light jobs have the same salary as creators or big bosses, society will gradually lose the sense of development with people's relaxation. Equality only creates more poverty while discrimination increases the opportunity to compete
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 13, 2021, 03:35:46 PM
That's not impossible, if the Ethereum did not fixed its issue it might happen. We all know that if the price of Ethereum rises or the chain is crowded we all know how ridiculous the price gets. It is only one of the things the Ethereum needs to fix but it's really not impossible that Ethereum can be overthrow by other coins.
I just see a high percentage that they will completely overcome the cost of the network as well as the time to transfer the tokens, recent hard fork in london and a few plans with updated codes that i don't remember the names of but claim their progress is going to reduce competition from other projects. Even in case this plan is postponed and canceled, Cardano cannot take away the users here, quite a lot of stronger projects will take over these important folders, the small ant won't be able to cause too much pain and death
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any miner who have not sold any bitcoin from the beginning? on: August 13, 2021, 03:18:21 PM
I don't think it exists because every businessman wants a profit and if the price has gone up then they try to release the bitcoin into the global stock market, maybe right now, yes, this is true considering the relatively low price, they will try to choose to survive rather than them selling it at a price that does not match what I want, and if the price returns to normal then it is not impossible that I will also sell bitcoin
Agreed, if they have brought a large capitalization for such mining, their plan would be to sell bitcoin as soon as the price is as high as possible, the aim is to restore some of the initial capital, next is to think about the profit levels after months of trying to recover capital. Furthermore, the cost of equipment damage and repair as well as the usual costs of living, a small mining system also requires a relative fee, other miners will surely take advantage of the quick sale opportunities to secure their own interests
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: August 13, 2021, 03:04:36 PM
Online gambling has been very popular now especially when the world was faced with Covid19 and the economic sector was scrambled, man looked for money from all directions, and to most people, gambling online was the alternative. Therefore online gambling rate is
alarming, and will continue to be very popular because people are still  gambling to make money.
I think it is because the control from the people is less in online gambling. That can make the number of addicted to gambling increase. Moreover, they can get comfortable playing gambling from their home. They do not have to go to the offline casino, even if it reopens their business because they can play gambling from home. That makes online gambling can still grow and get more customers worldwide because when people browse the internet, they can easily find online gambling. People who are never involved in gambling will be curious about online gambling, which can make them play because of curiosity.

However, I believe that the problem of online gambling as well as the number of users will cool down in the next quarters of society even people who are addicted to online gambling can no longer participate in this activity as their money will run out if continued in the long run, besides that, vaccination campaigns are being accelerated towards a safe society, jobs and businesses will resume. The next time will be the work of repairing the budget as well as building jobs for the unemployed, asking people to practice more and they will no longer have time for online gambling.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano (ADA) coin hit $10 During 2021? on: August 12, 2021, 03:20:50 PM
Cardano is one of the coins that is currently developing, if it can reach the price of $ 10 of course this will be very remarkable although for now the price is still $ 1 but do not hesitate with the coin because it has long been in the interest of many investors, and for this year many atlcoin prices continue to increase so that the development of the crypto world is increasingly visible, then never hesitate to invest in all the potential altcoins.
You are making us hesitate more for investment because as you said the establishment time of this project organization is also long and the market has ended quite a few quarters, value is still a precariousness and lack of improvement after years of striving, here, I still recognize this ADA partner is still a good and contributing project but the investment view cannot change with this perspective. It's been a while and just over 1$, to go to 10$ would be ten times the old time, allowing for faster advancements but also not complete this year
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: reasons for bad trading on: August 12, 2021, 03:04:37 PM
Trading is not a get rich quick scheme.

Some people are enticed by the notion that trading brings in a lot of money and has the ability to make one rich quickly.

Others are enticed by the huge portfolios of old traders, and the successes they post online.
As a result of this misconception, many people quickly want to get into trading and we all know how badly it ends for them.

They do not concern themselves with learning the rudiments and also learning from the in between the line excesses from masters who have become conversant with trading.

Not being patient enough to learn completely to adopt a strategy, and being in a hurry to make money from trading are leading causes of bad trading.

They don't know that old traders also just post random wins and the purpose of these advertisements is to open up a tutorial group for those in them to become teachers, we are becoming chickens and being made fools by others, very few old traders have good expertise as well as accompanying people all the way. Today's society is only colored with good things to convince users, no one exposes the stories behind, deceived users also do not want to share and show their mistakes to others, chains of silence become cracks for newcomers
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: August 12, 2021, 02:42:59 PM
It could happen someday if human knowledge is advanced and parallel, the human need for transactions will be even greater. security and speed of transactions without any restrictions between countries with currency differences are no longer a problem when it is on the blockchain. so in my opinion, what we are discussing is just a matter of time, and people will agree to use bitcoin and ethereum as a substitute for fiat in the future.
Your problem is an idol disease and considering your choices will be the priorities of the future but when bitcoin runs parallel to time, maybe more people will agree but a large part feels the danger will still be separated, finally, a war like in the past emerges and the government is also the pioneer and gives an opinion that makes others respect. Decentralization cannot become the supreme council of society, replacing fiat is replacing government decision with society, small country can manage well, big country will be rebellious
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: August 12, 2021, 02:27:16 PM
When i have time i go to local market to check prices

Vegetable prices doubled
Fruit prices doubled
Meat prices around 30% increase
Grain products around 20% increase
...

And my country  is a exporter of food products

How is it in your country ? Same ?

----------------------

My country is Romania

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-04-10/food-supply-fears-are-growing-as-romania-bans-grain-exports

We tried to ban exports of grain ,but stupid EU intervened...

Same here in our country, the prices of all fruits, vegetable, rice, meat products, fish are all increases. Not only foods but also transportation fare. It was because of the pandemic. The supply of foods are becoming limited because some establishment and supplier halt their operations. And also the passenger are limited because not anyone can go out or there's a limitation on how many passengers that a bus can take that leads to high transpo fare.

Shipping fees are really becoming very expensive due to the problem of shipping between countries, even in a country that is facing many difficulties due to the risk of spreading the pandemic as well as the lack of businesses that accept these products, once the sources of goods were frozen and such delays, the original value remained the same but shipping costs included, all of which became more expensive than ever. Food is a key commodity but cannot escape such danger, the policies of many governments are not good in this regard and there is too much lack of balance between psychosocial and price.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: August 12, 2021, 02:13:20 PM
I guess there's no better one, since it's all depends on the person, based on their own perspective. People who involved in cryptocurrency might want to get paid in bitcoin, since they know its value, how to manage or use it, and such. However, those who are not familiar with bitcoin might not want to be paid in bitcoin and prefer fiat instead. They will not understand bitcoin, and think why should they get paid in bitcoin. It'll be a lot dangerous too if after the company paid certain amount of bitcoin, then bitcoin price fell, those people will have the amount of money less than they should have, and since they don't understand they'll come out for protest. Both are fine and work well for the one who like them, each of them has their own advantages and disadvantages, but if the price of bitcoin is in bearish situation or trend, maybe I'll prefer to be paid with fiat instead of btc, and vice versa.
You only think about your personal ambitions while it is a fact that many of us do not fully recognize and want to bring bitcoin into payment and receive a payment in bitcoin, although we may know the value as well as the ways to make this product most useful to us but the ferocity of bitcoin still scares us, an unfamiliar person is afraid of new things, a person who is used to is afraid of the hidden doors behind this investment. Fiat is still the club that gets the most votes for payments, bitcoin only gets propaganda but less votes
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why be allowed to create tokens with the same names? on: August 11, 2021, 04:43:54 PM
This is also my concern as well, I don't know why they are allowing those scammers to create the same name token and scam people, beginners are commonly the victim for this scam, I am hoping that they will do an action for this thing and will not allow anymore the same name token to avoid scammers. Even though it has different contract address, beginners can still fall for this scam.
This is a decentralized environment and the functionality of the systems and tokens is not fixed, more precisely, the same name can apply to two separate fields and the government is not here to check for plagiarism or counterfeiting of documents, the token sector is not legal, once the law is out of control, it's very common for similar names to be created to cheat. New projects involved in similar cases are many, they are lacking in ways to protect their rights and users while old projects enhance this feature a lot and know how to notify to be alert
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 11, 2021, 04:27:11 PM
I think it's just pure coincidence. Sports betting analysis depends on the particular sport. But I think the main factor in this one is your familiarity and experience. If you have been following each football game in a league, for example, you can easily predict which team is going to make it against another team.

In poker, it's another skill that is involved. There is also the luck factor.

Sports betting needs familiarity with every sport which includes a little survey about the pulse of most sports critics while poker needs skills about the strategies on how the game itself goes. Both have risks yet they are quite different. We could win in sports betting depending on our trusted players while we could win in poker depending on our luck and skills.
Indeed, poker is a game that exploits information from opponents and trains a skill to read the behavior of people around, knowing the expressions on other people's faces to define what they think while sports betting is about training the range of past data as well as observing a few stats of each team, but my general feeling is that the element of luck as well as the nature of the two are correlated with each other. These are games that can be won with skills created during betting and gambling but their skills are separate and unrelated
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still have thoughts of picking Gold over Bitcoin, read this. on: August 11, 2021, 04:13:50 PM
Of course bitcoin is a better investment option than Gold due to it's high returns but at the same time it's good to have a diversified portfolio.
I have learnt from this forum that we should never put all our eggs in the same basket.
While investing in bitcoin for long term will give huge returns, I think we can invest a little portion into Gold as well to diversify the portfolio.

In bitcoin, we can also find things that can be diversified, I mean altcoins, they can be called different affiliates of bitcoin and each place will have a customer base with different needs, a precise location will help bring more profit because a new regional roadmap is easier to develop than an old one with quite a lot of saturation points like bitcoin. Diversification for gold is also possible but it is a different market and influenced by many different cultures from different countries and sectors, exploiting the route with them will take a lot of time
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Interested in Dogecoin? on: August 10, 2021, 03:02:16 PM
I think Elonmusk doesn't really like it and just makes it a game, I think the most important thing here is about btc and his interest in it, in the long run musk will definitely come back to side with BTC and pay attention to it.
Part of the crowd has been the pieces of wood for Elon Musk to sculpt his dogecoin stories but instead of coating them with paint that preserves these values and creations, these rudimentary works were soaked in water, the crowd became damp pieces of wood, the ability to ignite a fire from Elon Musk a few more times as well as try to continue sculpting, it will no longer be eye-catching products. Dogecoin is just a diary of sad stories and hope, Elon Musk's beginnings with dogecoin are just new sensations, long-term loss of excitement
496  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: August 10, 2021, 02:46:26 PM
And this pandemic, however horrible, has opened the eyes of millions of people. They have started working remotely, or found new jobs online, they've never thought existed. This pandemic will end, but the world will never be the same.
The world will be more efficient working at home but I think our social values could take a new low.
Human resources are reduced by more than half, the company only retains important positions, only a few areas are still active, I do not find working from home more effective, before such a challenge, we can only do some small work from home with extremely low salary, educational experience is not applicable, this seems to be the weak point of working from home. Society consists of only rays of sunshine, the streets of fairs are empty of people, tedious and without the quality of the future created by covid
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Criteria for Choosing Alt-coins to Invest In on: August 08, 2021, 03:08:19 PM
I think There are no specific criteria to invest in Cryptocurrency. Now i think experienced investors they didn’t wanna to looking forward to long term investment with new projects. NFT is trendy in the market and i see it’s market is growing very smoothly and so many big NFT projects is top rank. Also MEME coins hype not over, Still many projects come up.
Meme coins are considered losers who want to revive from the ashes, and bitcoin opened the door to hell to help the coin meme get out of the depths of the earth, positivity is back but because they are defeated soldiers, they have aspirations but our criteria should not be on them, one failure proved their ability is not enough. Some old and big altcoins are a more specific criterion then will come to NFT, they are adding a lot of manpower to the online game segment but terrorists like such crowds and events
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China takeover Bitcoin network? on: August 08, 2021, 02:51:26 PM
I don't think China will be able to take over the bitcoin network, because we know the Chinese government really hates bitcoin, but I admit that China dominates in bitcoin mining, but if the problem is they want to take over the bitcoin network, I don't think it will be possible, even though they do. any way, I'm sure they will not be able to do it all..
China is an old fox in scams and changes between black and white very quickly, a stormy day will allow them to confide in their interest in bitcoin, even disgust for the network but as long as the situation of the world and surrounding countries show special behavior with bitcoin, they become a more friendly and sociable face. The takeover is probably also one of the few strategies they are working on, even readying parts to manage, it's just that they're not the only wolves in this world, countries all have an insularity about the bitcoin network as well as approaching takeovers.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: August 08, 2021, 02:34:21 PM
I do agree with you, most of the projects listed on Binance have good chance of pumping, just announcement that a coin is going to be listed on Binance is enough to pump the price and give 100%. Binance for now is the most liquid exchange for Altcoins in the space and money will always follow liquidity because people want to be able to get in and out of a trade without affecting the price that much
Binance's system is an extremely large publisher as well as advertising, creators always trust and like to sign the contracts listed on this exchange based on its effectiveness, estimated listing costs are probably quite expensive but can confirm the worth for every silver spent, the good potential will increase a few pumps but the bad potential also cannot be affected, some pumps are the least standard for efficiency levels. Binance is an initial dynamite for a project, the potential of the project is in the later parts of the project and how it will spread
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 08, 2021, 02:03:21 PM
Happiness and money are linked to each other, happiness is when I have a luxury house and a new model car and I have thousands of dollars, for me the definition of happiness is when I get a salary or get the return from my investments, what a beautiful life with abundant money so we work day and night to get it. When I have no money how miserable and sad I feel, So I am ready to do everything in my power not to live in poverty.
Your definition of happiness is just temporary and impromptu words, after those goals come true, you will not be able to feel the level of happiness you have ever wanted because the house only represents a complete but emotionless object, the air is relatively cold and tasteless, separating the meeting between friends and family, you may be satisfied for a few days but then the laughter and warm words of loved ones are needed more. Poverty is a distasteful thing that compels us to strive but this inadvertent striving will hurt the objects around us
