I suspect "THEYMOS"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=35 is satoshi nakamoto and the rest of the bitcointalk administrators are a part of his team..

Are any of these guys knows outside of this forum?? Like their Twitter account or facebook account??

It is highly possible THEYMOS may just be satoshi nakamoto  laughing
At us as we try to find out who satoshi really is

It is not impossible, but it is highly theymos is not satoshi nakamoto.
Since Craig Wright said he is satoshi nakamoto, many peoples speculating about satoshi nakamoto identity.
I dont know about his twitter or facebook, but you can get theymos email address if your account has been banned.

Man, i feel sorry for you. Maybe you can sell your coin and search for another coin.
I think it will be very long if you waiting your digitex coin to hit your buying price.
my advice, we should not buy any coin when the value is flying, it will have more chance to falling later.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: April 28, 2019, 02:01:39 PM
The most useful advantage of IEO than ICO is about SECURE and CREDIBLE.
Secure because there is no way for you to transfer your eth to wrong address when participating in IEO.
Credible because the exchange itself who conduct their research and due diligence about the project.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All altcoins without proof of work will be destroyed on: April 28, 2019, 01:47:56 PM
the world is ruled by energy sellers, coins threatening coins with proof of work will be destroyed like this car https://youtu.be/Jivb7lupDNU

The higher the hashrate (kilowatt to be exact) - the better the coin, the technology does not matter

So the Proof of Stake big coin like DASH will be destroyed in the future ?
What are your opinion based on ? All coins without Proof of Work doesn't mean they have no place in the crypto sphere.
I don't think that gonna be happening, and more coins without proof of work will be created.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 27, 2019, 12:48:09 PM
Not really, there are quite many centralized exchanges has been hacked and of course it has leaving bad reputation to traders.
I think centralized exchanges still dominating because there are more centralized exchanges than decentralized exchanges in cryptocurrency.
We need to create more good decentralized exchanges to balance the numbers of centralized exchanges.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin? on: April 27, 2019, 12:42:53 PM
While the whole market of cryptocurrency has had a solid 2019, one coin specifically has triggered up to 300 percent gains since the beginning of the year. Binance Coin (BNB), the official currency of to the world's top ranked crypto exchange by volume, has outpaced both Bitcoin and the market with its huge increases in the course of the most recent month. Given how Binance Coin has, to some degree, taken over the market surge, Is BNB the new Bitcoin?

I won't say it is the next bitcoin, but it is the most success altcoin between altcoins.
Other ICO should developing like binance project, they has developed very well even in the bear market.
but maybe BNB will be on the 3rd rank in coinmarket cap later if they keep burning the token.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New token on: April 26, 2019, 02:40:46 AM
Has anyone heard of Neuralium?

I just know about it from your thread now. I haven't heard about Neuralium before, what is it ?
Is it an erc20 token in Ethereum network ? Any links about it could you post ? A new project should give the details to the community.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where does all the tokens mistakenly sent to wrong wallets go? on: April 25, 2019, 06:12:42 AM
I have a question for you all. What happens to all the tokens mistakenly sent from a wallet to a wrong wallet and where do they go?

They will remain in the wrong address and never be able to used unless we know the key.
Based on the cryptocurrency nature, i think it is impossible to use the token that has been sent, because we will never be able to find the private key.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I fell for FOMO on: April 25, 2019, 06:00:49 AM
Back in December 2017 when mining coins are still damn profitable a friend told me about how much he was making from mining and I decided to check it out, I was hooked and I can't keep my mind off it so I venture into setting up my own, the first coin I started mining was electroneum but unfortunately I wasnt able to recover half of ROI back before bears take over the market and now mining seems hopeless, my question to miners like me out here is how are you guys managing? Will mining be profitable again when bulls return???

Not only you, there were many peoples coming to buying cryptocurrency in 2017 when it was skyrocketing.
I think this has happened every year. When bitcoin and altcoins was going up very fast and hit the new All time high, peoples were come to join the train.
Maybe you can expect some bull again few years later and the FOMO will happening again.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: April 24, 2019, 08:22:15 AM
Why do new investors consider the IEO a scam / Should I invest in IEO?
The fact that IEO is a form of mobilization is very smart because it minimizes risks for investors. However, there are two big problems that are common in IEO: the number of tokens that are being held too much by some people, if the token floor will bring a good amount to them, if the token is reduced to the floor then they will quickly take a loss or sell out of the market but the big risk is to be in new investors. Therefore, for those who have lost their money in this market, they lose faith and consider it a fraud.
Everyone please rate IEO projects on the exchanges

How can you say it is cheating ? I believe there is personal cap to participating in IEO.
The problem in IEO is, you cannot just simply buying the coin when the IEO running, but you will have to compete with
other investors who want to buy the coin in IEO too. That is because the hardcap of IEO is usually not too much.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: April 24, 2019, 08:11:36 AM
Even there are still some peoples call bitcoin is Ponzi scheme! But of course it is actually not.
That is no wonder, because bitcoin has giving their early supporters a good reward. Negative and FUD will always exist everywhere, we just need to ignore it.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: April 23, 2019, 07:04:21 AM
I've noticed many ICOs have to spend a lot of money on promotions and advertising.

For example, let's say an ICO raises 10 million dollars but has to spend 9 million on promotion.

Therefore, they only really raised 1 million for the project.

Isn't this unethical?

If you're starting a company and looking for investors the traditional way via stock equity, you would never spend 9 million or even 5 million or even 2 million in order to raise 10 million from investors.

This begs the question, what ratio of promotion cost versus funds raised for ICOs is ethical?

And how do we know if an ICO is using an ethical ratio?

ANd thats why ICO need financial advisor so they won't spend too much money just for the marketing promotion.
Anyway, promotion and advertisement is not unethical, as long the budget is not too high.
It is a part of the marketing strategy for the ICO.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment reality on: April 23, 2019, 04:08:43 AM
80 % of people got involved in crypto from September-December and afterwards, they lost interest to invest watching their investments going down. Companies, corporations and politicians , let's say they filled their bags. And only after all of that we will see some positive regulation

But I firmly stand on my point that the only way for crypto to have a long life is the adoption and not just price speculation. And this will come from all of us. Start in little but whenever you got the chance to pay smth with cryptocurrency, just do it. Let's give real world value to the coins we hold.

I think it was because many peoples joined cryptocurrency at the end of 2017, and later their coins price were falling.
In 2018, it became worst, most peoples who bought at the end of 2017 were selling their coin to avoid more loss.
The lesson i got is, dont buy coin when the price is hyping. Buy it when the coin price is dump.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should stop promoting ICOs who ask huge money for their soft/hardcap! on: April 23, 2019, 03:32:06 AM
Hello Everyone,
Recently I have analyzed that most of the big raised ICOs are valueless or nothing but a pump dump token! No Major updates but they asked huge money to run their technology/project smoothly! Look at the HDAC, Bankex, Pumapay, Online, Cryptosolartech and so on ICOs! They gathered huge money from the sale but then what happened? Their developments mean just listing on some exchanges that's it! Many low cap ICO projects are doing far better than those highly earned ICO projects. Look at the countinghouse ICO, how happy their investors are!

So, My Opinion is, we should stop promoting those ICOs who asked more than 10-20 Million USD as a soft cap goal! what do you think?

Yes, ICO with abnormally huge amount of hardcap should not be promoted. What will they do with the money ?
Countinghouse ICO is the proof that the bigger ICO project raised the fund, doesn't mean the project will success.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: April 23, 2019, 02:47:52 AM
The potential of the coin will depends on the team itself. If they have a good concept but bad team, the potential is small.
If the team is not good, they will not doing any effort to support the coin price in the market, like buyback or periodic burning.
Even they can dump the token later and can causing permanent damage to token value. So, a strong, solid team is the main factor.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market state on: April 23, 2019, 02:29:28 AM
Week #15 of 2019 reveals that the first two weeks of April have raised $45.6m  that is almost twice higher than the number of funds raised compared to the same period in March.

1️⃣Week #15 of 2019 has raised $7m that is four times lower than the previous week
2️⃣Most ICOs are in Cryptocurrency and it also makes to the top3 by average funds raised
3️⃣Average rating has slightly increased to 4.3

More details in ICO Market Weekly Review #15 ➡️https://icobench.com/report?utm_campaign=im2019wr15&utm_source=bitcointalk#weekly

Maybe because the cryptocurrency market starting to going up, the green market attract the investors to investing in crypto.
You calculated the ICO, but did you calculate about IEO too ?
I think many IEO has raised much funds in the period, more than what ICO raised.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: April 23, 2019, 02:10:37 AM
You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.

I think there is no other way to recover 90% loss because it will be difficult to using only 10% of your initial fund to get the 100% back.
Instead holding it, maybe you can sell your altcoin and try to using high risk dapp. You can get profit much, but with high risk.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty that paid you some good reward on: April 21, 2019, 03:42:36 PM
hey all... it's exactly one year now when market started downward movement due to which many bounty/ico companies were not able to list their token to any exchange. Some even did not bothered to send bounty reward token to bounty participants. I have more then 40 tokens that are not listed to any exchange. This situation forced many participants to stop working on bounty campaigns and find some other way to earn from crypto. What was the last bounty that paid you token and that tokens were listed on good exachange and you were able to earn 1-2 ETH / 0.1 to 0.2 BTC or any small amount.

My previuos good bounty campaign was Shivom. This project has no analogues and it collected hard cap in just 4 weeks.
I earned about 54k tokens (~2700 $), but now the price has dropped several times.

It has been a long time since Shivom campaign, i participated in that campaign too.
Bounty hunters received OMIX token in a good amount, the bounty pool reward was quite big.
But there is no ICO like that anymore now, this is because the token price of most ICO has dropped and makes investors lost faith.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: April 21, 2019, 03:29:43 PM
This subject has been already discussed, with no conclusion obviously. Now, after a hard year there need to be more incentives for investors from coin dealers and project managers just to sell tokens. There are ETOs, but the concept seems to work for bigger entities. Dividend is more down to earth approach. Do you believe that it would be more and more normal for coins/tokens to offer additional stream of income just to get investors on board? No only as a part of the ecosystem, like Neo. Thoughts?

I think we can find some exchange token to hold, and receive dividend from the exchange fees.
Idex have Aurora, Kucoin have KCS, Huobi have HT, and there are more exchanges like that.
Aside from dividends, many exchanges holding IEO which can increase their token value more.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What has become of the whitepaper document on: April 20, 2019, 07:20:10 PM
Whitepaper and road mad are nice and good things for a project. They tell you what is to be expected of in project especially if you are an investor. But then scam issues sprung up, recognizing the power and influence of whitepaper and road, came in and capitalised on it to defraud a lot of investors

And now it becomes difficult to trust whitepaper and road map, but it wasn't like that from the beginning.

The solution I presume now; let’s take whitepaper to tell us what the project devs aim to achieve; don’t use whitepaper as a reason for investment.

Honestly i am too lazy to read all pages in the whitepaper of project, it usually very time consuming.
Even how good is the whitepaper won't guarantee the ICO is real and not fraud scam project.
But in the whitepaper we can know what is the project advantages from other existing projects.
