We are updating our systems.

Some downtime is expected.

Major Update Notification

Hello everyone.

Over the past couple of days we have updated our systems a lot.

Many users asked us and we've listened.
so what is this new update?

From now on there are two panel, one is pure simple like faucetbox, paytoshi and microwallet simple.

there is no need for pre-registraion ( although there wasn't this need even before).

New users can just simply enter they wallet address (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dashcoin) (more coming soon) and check their stats.

Let us know what you think.

Thank you.
Lucile

I think I am going to like this...  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Glad you liked it.

we are working on some more features for faucet owners Wink
485  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - Alternative to epay, faucetbox, paytoshi. Coming this month! on: November 18, 2016, 02:15:00 PM
I studied your API and i realised, the users must first register in faucethub before first claim.
Correct me if i am wrong.

I think it's not so good for comfortable users, but good thing in fight against bots Smiley
You're correct.

You shouldn't care what users going to say about this. (This might sound bad/harsh/ or whatever)
Users come to our sites and get -free- money. So they shouldn't be the ones having the last word, but us, the ones who provide that free money.
Correct me if wrong.

We're the ones protecting our own sites, not the users, so we have to do those things right.
We can't satisfy everyone.

It's a one time thing they'll have to do. Register their accounts so they can protect their own interests.
This is a deal breaker for me. I'd rather move to epay.info. The thing is that the faucet script that I along with other 90% faucet admins use, doesn't allow users to change their bitcoin address. Also, bitcoin address of a user is the only information it stores and it is the sole mean of logging in for users. Changing whole script and asking members to create account at a new service means losing 90% of users.
If you are looking to provide an alternative to Faucetbox, then at least make this transition possible. Just do some research and try to understand how Faucetbox effectively replaced Microwallet. Are you looking for a similar thing or want to create a totally new and different service. If the later, then you won't be able to get a lot of adoption.
Admin @ Dailyfreebits.com

as far as i know, the epay needs first "registration" too... So i dont know why do you think the faucethub will be wrong choice for faucet owners. I am trustint to mexicantarget to 100%, if faucethub will be OK for his faucets , i think it will be great for all of us. And he is totally right, if somebody wants to get free satoshi, move his ass and register. It will reduce the number of bots.
Didn't know that about epay.info. Look for another alternative.
Simply for the reason to not trouble 7000+ members to create a new account at another service for a few satoshi.

With permission form the owner
as you are talking about ePay.info i felt the need to answer you.
Users don't need to register first on our system
our system worked like faucetbox , users gets registered by just playing on faucets.
users need to register ONLY if they want to manage all of their addresses and currencies from one panel.

I don't know why . Sad
Please kindly check my faucet & add into your rotator . Thanks .

I want to share some my minds about ePay.info. In last few days I tried lot of ePay faucets. Now I see more faucets use ePay than earlier. But there are few things which annoys me in ePay script. Firstly, faucet ballance isn't visible for users. In lot of faucets I wasn't able to claim. After claim faucet pages reloaded. And I can't know reason for that: other services like Faucetbox after claim shows message about insufficient funds, safety limits or or similar errors. On ePay script no message are shown after not succesful claim.

Hi
Faucets with enough balance are shown on the rotator.
and balances are available to seen, whether the owner wants to show or not is not in our hand.
we check the faucets every 24 hours to check their status.
492  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] ePay.info, Micropayments and Faucets [0% fee] on: November 17, 2016, 08:52:07 AM
Hi, I am using mini faucet script for my faucet, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333748.0

Apart from FaucetBox, payouts could be processed through Xapo, Coinbase, or blockchain, but once FaucetBox shuts down all other payment options available on this script does not really serve the "micropayment" purpose. Of course Xapo is good, but then users need to have a Xapo account (registration, verifying number, I do not think many faucet users prefer that). I think many faucet admins are using mini faucet script so it would be really helpful if you could explain how to integrate ePay into mini faucet script Smiley Thank you.
Hi

We'll contact the developer of this script to add our API

great news

i was awaiting this since years now !

good job seems we can work now more with ePay since they grown now.
i have many users now using epay.

kind regards

Hello

i'm glad you are happy

Good to see that ePay started actions to become serious player in market. Improved support and zero fees will help to your service.  But I'm not sure how without deposit fees it will be possible to keep service. I don't think that advertisements can cover it.
I see that some faucets already moved from Faucetbox to ePay. Looks like there will be two main players in faucet industry.

Our business plan was always to offer 0 fee,
we have other plans.

That's awesome guys, not sure how other microwallet services are going to compete with you.

After all, you've been around for 3+ years and provided millions of transactions, right? Smiley

Wish you good luck!

We do not compete with anyone
We have our own user base and we welcome competition as competition build and advance things.
We would be happy to offer you our experience.

Wish you happy luck too.

Explanation regarding no fee

It has been a question for everyone that how is it we are going to offer no fee service.
First, of we do not rent our servers, we bought them from the manufacturer and are just placed in datacenters.

Second, We are a user of our system too and our costs are covered by showing small ads on our own pages

Update Announcement

Hello everyone,

Effective immediately we no longer get fee from faucet owners and faucet users.

also, access control, budget control, and Proxy detection are added to faucet owners panel.

ok this is good news, but if you don't mind me asking...

how are you going to pay for that, then? is it a limited promotion, and then you will set fees? or are you promising it will stay this way forever? pls clarify

BUT HERE'S AN IMPORTANT PART

your system requires sign-up for users. I understand that you have several services on your site, that require a full account.

but regular faucet users hate this. first they sign up for the faucet itself, then to epay.info, then when they use different address (and like anonymity), they have to sign up again, it is not nice.

and! on this topic a user was complaining someone stole his BTC wallet address under different account.

this should never happen. we must not be required to contact support to resolve such issues, it must be automatic.

if I can sign a message with my wallet, than it is all the proof you need.

please, please consider implementing light accounts (no sign-up, just enter wallet address AND GO, then IF user needs additional protection, then just ask him to sign a message with his wallet, and only IF USER WANTS it, then offer ability to sign-up with e-mail).

sorry for my tone, but that was main reason I never used epay in the past, hopefully new management can make it all better.

Hello and thank you for your reply.

We've been around for 3 years, and we also have our own faucet
so in the interest of our users we have decided to remove our fee completely and forever
so no more fee from now on.

about addresses and registration, it is in work to fix this issue for good.

We have changed our staff and management completely, more is coming..
