RASPBERRY-PI - RASPBRRY-CHIPSET - CHIPSET, RASPBERRY PI, MODEL B - £21.60 (google tells me thats € 25.54)
RASPBERRY-PI - RASPBRRY-PCBA - SBC, RASPBERRY PI, MODEL B - € 33,02

What I think (but can't find clear on the website) is the first one is the components (chipset) and the second is the complete assembled version.
The first one is listed under accessories, the second one under primary platform.

/edit, seems I can't order them yet.
Binnenkort verkrijgbaar - registreer hier uw interesse (Coming soon - register your interest here) at farnell site.
Register here to express an interest in Raspberry Pi at rs site.

You could earlier (when I ordered).  They've disabled the buy button now though.

Wow, that's a lot of DLL's Wink

Good news, it loads on my machine Smiley   That's about all I have time to test right now, but so far so good Wink

Looks like the first Raspberry Pis are on sale.
I was hugely disappointed to see they changed distribution to use RS and Farnell.

Both sites are overloaded now but even after waiting a long time and getting to the Farnell page I see they're selling them for $50 not $35. I can't tell yet if that includes shipping because the pages keep hanging. I can't imagine that passing them thru distributors like these guys will allow them to make any money for the foundation nor keep the pricing promises. My experience with "mainstream" distributors is they always want to ship by FedEx or UPS and charge a fortune for it.

What a shame.

There's actually two products on the Farnell site.  One for $50 and one for $38.   No idea what the difference is, but I obviously ordered the $38 one Smiley   Free shipping as well which is nice.

I ordered one today, yep.   Pretty sure it's a pre-order though, no idea when it'll show up.

On a related note, I just bought a RaspberryPi, so when that arrives (could be a while yet) I'll certainly try hooking up the BitForce to it Smiley

Just bought a RaspberryPi so I'll be keen to give this a crack on it when it finally arrives

Brilliant, I assume this'll fix the Python 64/32bit issues on Windows?

I'll try it tonight Smiley

With their customer service, they will go down the tube once the competition shows up to play the ball.

Unless they have designed and manufactured their own waffers, they have no competitive advantage.
Price is not competitive, customer service and marketing are nowhere to be found.

They only stay in this "mining business" because there is no competition.

Uh-huh, and where are all the other companies offering a comparable product?    Sure it may happen in the future, but first people will need to work out what chips are being used and then get hold of some.

You first Wink

Just got my tracking number for one of my units (I ordered one very early, and one a couple of months later).  I was given the option to have the earlier one sent first and the second later on (which I took) or wait and have them both sent out at the later time, so they're absolutely respecting the order queue.

As for the customer service stuff, I know it can be frustrating waiting for a reply, but know that they've been extremely responsive right up until the units were finalised.  I don't think they're a huge operation and from what I gather it's just all systems go trying to build units and get them sent out to satisfy all pre-orders) and hence quieten down the rabble on this forum.  Unfortunately that's taken focus off new orders I guess, but that's just the price you pay for waiting to order (not that there's anything wrong with that, not everyone is willing to take the risk of pre-ordering an unproven product).

I'd suggest everyone just try and chill a little, and no doubt they'll get back to you when they get some breathing room.   As long as you've sent your order through (even if you haven't paid) I assume you'll have your place in the queue.

Now ban Coinhunter while you're at it, for the same reason.

Hi!

You're absolutly right. It was I that have forgotten to remove a .lock-file from the webserver.
I've been doing some work to the share-calculation to prepare for the PPLNS-switch, so i needed to pause the scripts for a few minutes - but accidently left the file there...

I'm terrible sorry for that, i immediately initiated the script manually when I read the posts a few minutes ago. It was NOT anything intentional to stop the payments nor fake stats.

It won't happen again, once again. My apologies.

Not a prob, thanks for the heads up.   What's the ETA on the switch to PPLNS?  I'll unfortunately be leaving the pool when that happens, but just wondering how long it's likely to be.

Thanks

Problems at the moment?

Blockchains.info (which is normally accurate) says you've found 2 blocks recently, but your site says the current round is 1 day 5 hours so far....

Don't pull a Bitclockers Wink

The most amazing part to me was his renewed drive to lose weight because they were expecting  a "little one"

i placed an order to pay with dwolla a few days ago, sent couple emails, PMs even called

trying to be patient... waiting for them to contact me

They're busy.  They obviously want your order, but I imagine it's full steam ahead trying to put together and post out all the pre-orders first.

Viper never really believed in SolidCoin.

Coulda fooled me.   If he's an example of someone who doesn't really believe in it, I'd hate to meet someone who does Cheesy

Your coin aside (which is flawed and doomed, whether you choose to ignore the facts or not), you've completely ruined any chance of wide adoption purely by being a gigantic dick this past year or so.   The name is tarnished, your name is tarnished, and only the foolish would get involved with you (and that's WITHOUT understanding the fundamental flaws of your design).

Act superior all you like, I know for a fact your coin will fail and "we" will have the last laugh.   Nothing you say will convince me otherwise.

Essentially, you've dug your own grave.

Haha ok. Just keep caring about SolidCoin like you are then. Thanks for caring about something you think is so doomed, make sure you go out and spread your message so what you think can happen will happen. Tongue Without you "keeping it real" then maybe SolidCoin will indeed take over! Funny person you are.

Well, you're either stupid or.... nope, obviously just stupid.

Shocker.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Solidcoin finally been shut down? on: February 26, 2012, 03:42:00 AM
Still no less delusional though.

Such arrogance!

The post above this one is proof positive there are more than one person posting as Coinhunter as I stated in this post. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=64699.0

Notice how the sentences are well thought out, different writing style from the norm???

seems like there are 3 people sharing the account.

A good enough reason for a ban you'd think.

See point 1.

Lite coin etc aren't picked on because they hold true to what this place is about.   Your sham doesnt, not in the slightest.

If it were up to me you'd be banned in an instant, then we'd see how well you'd do with just your own forum to "educate".

I agree I'd love nothing more than for people on here to stop taking the piss out of Solidcoin as it'd die all that much quicker, but its just too easy a target I guess.

Now run along.   You no doubt have to make some fundamental changes to how your coin works to keep it alive and flailing.

Firstly, don't pretend to speak for every Bitcoin user, you sound arrogant.

Secondly if you think many people here don't want a currency that is a lot safer from government/bank attacks you don't understand what SolidCoin is. You believe the hype of the other trolls here at your own peril.

Do yourself a favor and read this, and see what you really disagree with. http://solidcoin.info/myths.html

At my peril?   Now who's arrogant.   I think I'll be fine, thanks.

Back tracking again I see....

You've been say "Undependable" ad nauseum and now suddenly it's with conditions.... trying to dance around the fact they are spendable with some technical bullshit.

The conditions are, you can spend them anytime you like but no one else.

I appreciate the ammo, I will bury you with this.

~BCX~

It's not my fault SolidCoin is "over your head" when it comes to understanding it. It's obviously more complicated than Bitcoin and few people understand how Bitcoin works... but the source code is there, hire a C++ programmer if it bothers you that much to know the truth. Put your faith in the SolidCoin developers if you don't know C++, they are experienced C++ developers and also now some of the most experienced cryptocurrency developers going around.

Haha!  That's the best post you've ever made Cheesy

Haha, oh man, my sides actually hurt Cheesy
