481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: February 25, 2023, 01:35:31 PM
The Polygon (matic) platform is currently gaining popularity. As Bitcoin grows, Polygon Coin keeps pace. And it is a well-known fact that a large investor with backing will certainly have the chance to go the longest.  May be more than $20 if the number of investors increases. As was the case with Dougie Coin, the price rose overnight after Elon Musk took over the platform. So if such an investor takes polygon support, it is normal to exceed 20 dollars. Moreover, if the price of Bitcoin increases, the price of Polygon Coin will increase in the market.
Matic is already popular even before. To be precise, it gained popularity by the time ETH fees are rising through the roof. People ran there and use it as an alternative. I think ETH fees have slowly returned to normal and maybe the hype of matic is slightly going down as well.

There are now coins which are better than matic so I don't think matic will ever reach $20. Dogecoin pumped before but it was only an artificial pump. It happened only because some famous personalities are shilling it. Even though matic didn't reach a high price like that, matic was still far better than doge coin. Matic doesn't need a kind of similar support because the coin can stand on its own.

If you're intrigued by the idea of Metaverse and want to learn more, check out our article "Is Metaverse the Wave of the Future?" We dive deeper into this exciting concept and explore the potential benefits and drawbacks.

First of all, we are glad that you are still alive. We thought you won't come back anymore because it's kinda a long time since you made your last post Cheesy. Second of all, of course, we are.

Metaverse isn't really a new thing in this crypto space and many projects related to it are now out but maybe there are still exciting ideas which are not yet given. That is the one that we will be looking forward to. One of the potentials of metaverse is that it might be used in the gambling world. If this happens then I think the offline gambling are going to be more affected because metaverse can now give us that real world gambling experience even without leaving our own house.
483  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: February 24, 2023, 08:53:59 PM
withdrawals are instant up until a few hundred grand then they take a bit of time. I've withdrawn 7 figures few times and it was settled within 20 mins to an hour.

They arent delaying your withdrawals, bitcoin is just the slowest method.
7 figures in 20 minutes? Holy heck. "Veikkaus" that's a gambling monopoly in Finland would demand you to visit them physically to prepare you to handle what's coming. In fact they actually check everything several times and would invite you to lunch to talk with you before you got you money.
To those who are not entirely sure, the lowest form of 7 figure is 1 million dollars, that is 1 with six zeros after that, making it seven figures. And I agree that seven figures is the cream of the crop levels of gambling but weirdly enough, it is not really unique at Stake.

We all know that Drake gambles here for example, and he wagers seven figures per bet, not saying him alone makes the difference of course, seen plenty of people who wagered 10k+ per bet here, constantly, there is at least one person who does that every single day. Which is why Stake is forced to process these huge sums a lot quicker than most other places because it is not a rare thing for them.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's second biggest weekly gain happened yesterday on: February 24, 2023, 07:48:49 PM
If bitcoin didn't break through the $25k resistance price, why was there a need for the 13.5% gain price? Bitcoin has been circling about the $25k mark for the last few days and doesn't appear to be able to get there or over it yet.
Bitcoin did it. It already broke $25k last feb. 16 and then there was a follow up on the dates of; 19, 20, 21. You can see its historical price here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/historical-data. Broken or not, people are always demanding for a price gain because this is the only way for them to earn a bigger profit.

I bet you also want a price gain too more than the need for the bear. People have the assumption that a bear trap is going to happen so they think whales are behind the rise and fall of the price but you are right that it was only the nature of Bitcoin of being a volatile crypto. Bitcoin is too big too be manipulated easily. Halving could bring positive effects on BTC but we should not rush. The price can still be adjusting during or after the event.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Is There a Lesson for Economies and Entrepreneurs to Learn from Bankruptcy? on: February 24, 2023, 07:08:15 PM
Why did they file for bankruptcy?
- rising interest rates
- high inflation
- Difficulty hiring
- ongoing war in Ukraine
I'd consider COVID related matters to be the biggest driver of bankruptcy within the last two years. Interest rates, inflation, labor shortages are all a result of COVID lockdowns causing the government to begin printing money as a form of economic stimulation. All the meanwhile, businesses are forced to close down.

To the extent government can force you to close your business, I don't know what an entrepreneur is suppose to do to combat that. Being flexible with e-commerce might be a mitigating factor but that isn't feasible for a lot of businesses.
I think the real one to be blamed here is not the Covid-19 but it's the FTX bankruptcy because after this, other companies then follows its path. It was like there was a Domino effect that have happened. During the time FTX went bankrupt, the world have already recovered from Covid.

We should not defend FTX but the reason why FTX got bankrupt is already given and that is because the founder is playing carelessly with his costumer's funds. He did trading, investing, gambling and then donating some of it to the governments without their customers' consent. Speaking of the governments, they can only order you to close your business if it's illegal but if not then maybe the owners close them due to the effects of the recession.

Apparently the administrators of Freebitco.in have gotten very greedy lately: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/freebitco.in?stars=1

That's a rough patch considering the track record and credibility of this platform.
I put trust trustpilot as much value as newbie accounts in bitcointalk. Both of them van be weaponized with money, either for praising the product or FUDding the competition.

Also i didn't even find anything that would make Freebitcoin admins "greedy". And being "greedy" is just weirdest fud. Like not every company out there wouldn't want to make more profit.
Trustpilot is also a place that takes money to delete bad comments if you pay them. It has been leaked before and there were mails from the staff members that said if you paid them X amount (changes based on how many bad comments there are) then they can delete some of it, and that made the overall point you got there better.

I am sure you can abuse it to promote your business, but their entire business model is based on blackmailing companies into saying "take my money and delete bad comments", that's how they are managed. Thankfully freebitco.in doesn't need any of that, they are already one of the most visited crypto websites, so they don't need trustpilot to say anything about them.
487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Warning: ZKasino - Possible wallet phishing scam on: February 24, 2023, 11:11:50 AM
The site is already a very suspicious one and there is no single reason why one will be asked to connect or link a wallet address at every step they take just because they want to try out a casino. I'm sure that this singular act alone has already done so much harm than good to their reputation and it will take them so much time to dispute this claims.
Thank you so much OP for raising this awareness to us and I hope more persons get to see this thread so as not to fall victim of any malicious or criminal acts.
I find it more annoying than suspicious because what I know is that any decentralized/web3 platforms do also works like that where they will also ask us to connect our wallet with them but the only difference maybe is that a legit platform does not force us of doing it. For our safety it will be better to use a separate wallet when connecting to any decentralized and web3 platforms.

This is the only downside of this technology because our whole wallet is exposed once we made a connection with them. If this casino here is truly a scam then it's normal that they won't care about their reputation so don't worry about them. They deserved it anyway.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 23, 2023, 09:26:40 PM
I can see one way or another Chelsea or Spurs ending up win a win and going to next stage, which I think Chelsea won't be able to do because they are too bad, but maybe there is a slight chance that Spurs could, which is still a small chance but they will play at home so they might.

But, I can't see Liverpool somehow managing to beat Real with 3 goal difference, that's not going to happen, that's one matchup we can close the book on from the first game, it was 5-2 and that's just way too much to end up having any type of issues and I believe that we will not end up with anything that is shocking about that game, it will be a boring game with nothing changing from first game at all.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos to stop minting BUSD on: February 23, 2023, 06:53:19 PM
GM crypto fam.

So, the NY Department of Financial Services has ordered Paxos to stop minting BUSD effectifly as of yesterday (Feb. 21st).

How big of an impact is the government's crackdown on crypto going to have on the crypto market's growth in the US?
This is no hype, if NY Department of Financial Services can ordered and be authoritative, then sooner or later other state regulatory body might follow suit as well.

But not sure if we can call it a crypto crackdown, maybe they just find something is not right on Paxos and BUSD that's they stop it. I haven't follow the news so not sure if Paxos will have to fight his case or just comply with the law.

So for me there is no effect on us and this is not a crackdown.
If others might follow then it can truly be considered as a hype. A crackdown means to restrict something so yeah it is. I click on the link provided by the OP but I can't find the post there about Paxos and BUSD so I search and find this website: > https://www.cnbc.com/2023/02/20/how-the-sec-and-paxos-busd-fight-could-impact-the-stablecoin-market.html.

It is said that SEC sees BUSD as a kind security and they mentioned something about registration. Maybe the issue can still be sorted out once the registration has been done so I think this isn't something that everyone should worry about. By the way, you can try to click on the link to have a better understanding because the post is a bit lengthy and I might missed some key information there.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos and Tech Devices on: February 23, 2023, 05:54:28 PM
Yes, apps has also evolved and so is the casino themselves. They have to developed more friendly apps that suited their customers that wants to play more on their mobile phone. Personally though, I still used desktop for viewing pleasure to play my favorite slots.

I don't think that a mobile can beat our experience playing using our desktop or laptop.

Might be better if we have the votes though? so we can see the preference of the community?
I only noticed that many legit and top crypto casino sites still doesn't have their own mobile application but this doesn't prevents us from accessing them using only our mobile phones. I tried to play slot games on both my laptop and mobile and the experience is almost the same but I think I can prefer my mobile more because I can lay down in my bed.

It makes gambling more relaxing this way than if I play with my laptop which can hurt my back from the long time of sitting on the chair. Mobile phones might have a smaller screen but the graphics looks crisp on them. More if you have a high-end phone because their LCD's got even better now.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 22, 2023, 09:10:23 PM
Yesterday, there was a statement made by Lionel Scaloni on the possibility of Lionel Messi playing for Argentina in the 2026 World Cup. According to Scaloni, it is up to Messi to take that decision. If he wants to play in FIFA 2026, then he will be allowed to do so. Scaloni also made a comment regarding one of the most promising Argentine players right now, Giovanni Simeone. The last time he played for Argentina was back in 2018, but had a very good season with Napoli recently (after a short stint with Hellas Verona).
It has been always obvious that Messi would be able to play whenever he wants to, he just has too much sway and influence inside the team to let him go. Dude could be 40+ years old and still could play. It is about him being able to contribute that is the question, for 2026 he will be in a difficult age, not saying he will be bad, I don't even know if he will ever be bad until he retires, he could literally retire when he is still good, but it will be a difficult one for sure.

We are talking about around 38 years old or so right? That's very rough, still doable but very tough. I think he can play and he will, but he will not be as good as he has been.
492  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diamond 5 Stake, account was hacked on: February 21, 2023, 08:56:22 PM
It is a little strange that they didn't make your account incignito.

A lot of members which you can see in the top 10 in the daily races are incognito, so that's a normal thing.

Your fault happened, we all make mistakes, but that security should really flag suspicious tip transactions to newbie accounts, I don't understand how this could happen. From time to time here we read of accounts that get blocked "for security reasons" in suspicion of multi accounting or whatever but real fraud in 6 digits doesn't get found out, that's alarming.

Well looking at stake history of things like that ( I am very active in stake's forum and read about strange cases a lot ) I think there is nothing that they will do to refund you. A little bit of a shame since you are almost diamond 5 and therefor have wagered almost 500 million $, what a crazy amount.

I am platinum 4 and also ran into problems in the past where I didn't get help, for some reason though I always stick with stake.
Even if stake incognito his account, I think that won't still help because he was the one who click on the phishing link on the chat and also, we are the ones who can choose to incognito our accounts and not stake. We can do this by going on the settings and enabling the ghost mode feature. Stake allows multiple accounts if I am not mistaken and anyone can create a brand new account. They will then tip their alt accounts.

This must be the reason why stake allow it but after this incident maybe they will now be a little stricter. If the money is already withdrawn outside the platform then I doubt stake can help but maybe they can give some donations to the OP if he is telling the truth only to ease some pain.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB & BUSD Under Attack on: February 21, 2023, 06:35:18 AM
All the Dump occur because of the SEC because they launch enforcement action against Paxos, the issuer of BUSD. Paxos says that it will vigorously defend itself, and the issue is going to court. But as per the CZ's recent tweet, "Ignore FUD, fake news, attacks, etc." it is clear that both BNB and BUSD will recover the price soon.

All the small investors and Newbies are advised to take extra care because if something bad happens then they won't be able to get their investment back and it will be the same case as LUNA and FTX as they were also considered Stablecoins like BUSD.
BUSD is a kind of stable coin. Many are expecting that the value of a stable coin is only going to stay at 1 USD but even the dollar itself can't sustain it. It still fluctuates a little but it will always find it way back on 1 dollar again. I just want to say that it was normal and there is no need to panic about. Anyway, BUSD isn't the only stable coin that experience this little dip.

Tether was also reported last time to experience the same thing but I think many people will get alarmed since tether already have some issues before. BUSD was still a trusted stable coin because it was backed by Binance. As for BNB, it was also normal that it can dump like that because it's a volatile crypto and the bear market isn't over yet. Instead of worrying, why can we just use this moment to stock more coins?

Display and backend are not the same thing, I wouldnt worry too much.   I cant see that section as live either.

Is some of the stats part not there either.  I noticed I do seem to have a high free rolls, Im about 12k rolls which is 500 days worth of hourly faucet waiting time ?    That seems bonkers high, kinda amazed as I never try and always do it just its there and I click it.   Anyone beat 500 days of faucet time ?   Grin
Maybe its including the free rolls from elsewhere not just faucet the premium thing as well perhaps.
I think just gambling and putting your head down to get to a certain number would be pretty easy way of gambling way more than most people do. It ends up being something that you do as a second nature, and you do not realize how much you gambled.

I have been here for so long, and I gambled and I betted, and I have spent so much money here and in the end it looks like I haven't even gambled all that much at the same time. How? Well simply, there are people who wager more than me every single day, they are whales and they wager like tens of thousands of dollars per bet, whereas I wager like a dollar or sometimes less, so my totals are much less than them, but at the end I have accumulated a good amount of wagered here with that little amount thanks to doing it for years.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 20, 2023, 07:43:42 PM
Today I watched a video of Mercedes test run and it looked like they were still quite bouncy. Which means that if they are still as bouncy as last year, that would be terrible. And this was on rain, which means that they weren't even running at full speed and yet they still had the same issue, and if they run at full speed like a real race, it would be even worse. Either something was wrong for the test and they used like last years chassis or whatever I don't know the reason, or they will have the same issue again this year at first. I hope that they will figure that out, it would be a damn shame.
Don't trust these cars we have seen at all.

Especially Mercedes and Redbull are known for presenting a car on filming day and having a different one during the tests.
That was a test, it was on f1 rumor mills all over twitter, and it wasn't a "different" car, it was testing car. Could you be right? Could they test with last years car and not this years car?

Maybe, maybe they would do that because of the whole rain situation and not risk any crash and lose money, but at the end of the day why would you want to test with an old car that was horrible? What could that gain you?

Why not put the new car and get all the information that you need? That just doesn't make sense to me at all. I think there is a possibility that the new car still as proposing problem and they may actually have a very hard time at the start of the season but they at least know the solution this time.
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity vs. KYC: The Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: February 20, 2023, 07:04:39 PM
That's why it remains an issue of trust before using a platform and the options to KYC is always left with you.
I tend to agree with this.

Both of them have a downside whether it's DEX or CEX, if you will entrust your private documents in any exchange make sure about their trust issue.  Many people now are convenient in using CEX because they can able reach out to the team when they have a problem but in DEX, once you have a mistake, it's unrecoverable.

In a case of anonymity, it's clearly CEX is very dangerous, but I don't see it when it comes to reputable or top exchanges.
It might be an unpopular exchnage has an issue of a data breach not being on top exchange.
Mistakes can be prevented with proper practice but we can never prevent a centralized exchanges from controlling us. It's much worse to lose your money because the exchange scams you than you lose it because of a mistake.

This is why decentralized exchanges are still a better choice that the majority must use. It doesn't matter if the exchange is reputable or not, or they will sold your data's or not but once you submit your KYC to them, it automatically kills your privacy. Even a simple sign-up on a centralized exchange will still require our sensitive details such as emails or phone numbers which is not very far from doing a KYC.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: February 20, 2023, 06:28:46 PM
I've never tried Martingale strategy on sports betting, I've only used it a couple of time on Casino games.
I personally do not think that this betting strategy would be good on sport betting, since like you already explained, sports is not an immediate result showing kind of game, its a game where as after betting, you have to wait for some time to see what the results is or are, Using a Martingale strategy for such kind of games really does not make any sense, and it would just make the strategy really boring to use.

Martingale is best suited for casino games where things happen really fast, where you can decide whether to still use the strategy in your next game or not in just a matter of seconds.
Martingale originated in dice games first but later on people use it on any other games so why not in sports betting right? The only problem is that sports betting matches takes too long to complete so the classic martingale feels that we are looking for might be incomplete. In sports betting, martingale isn't necessary because they mostly have smaller odds.

The only best way to play sports betting is by betting at larger amounts at once so that the win that we will get is also huge. People are less afraid of doing it because they are confident about their knowledge on the teams that are involved in the game. This is something that can't be done in casino games.
498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: February 19, 2023, 09:09:46 PM
If he buys Bitcoin it’s considered an investment. Every investment has a risk. People assumed that real estate was a low risk investment and many are under water now. I think the only safe investment right now is bonds. Or you keep it in your savings account.

Nobody knows if it will crash or not. It’s been over a decade, since it hasn’t hit $0 yet then most likely it won’t anytime soon. You can say the same for a stock like Tesla. It’s the most popular EV brand today however will they still be around in a decades time? Nobody knows.
Were people really wrong about real estate being a low risk investment if you buy clean and verified property in places which are most likely to have a higher growth potential for land prices in the future? That is what it is in where I live. Real estate is considered to be one of the most profitable and low risk investments if of course you do your research before making any purchases to avoid potential risks involved in frauds and etc.

I personally prefer investing in real estate or gold rather than bonds, though bonds could be a safer investment, but I feel I can get higher chances of getting profit with the other two I've mentioned. About Bitcoin, I do trust it but I wouldn't with all my wealth, of course.

i have two very good domains and im trying to collect as much info as i can  about opening crypto gaming website that not require kyc and makes instant withdrawals.
First i was thinking about bitcoin crash game only - like bustabit but better, like adding bonuses and more crypto deposit and withdrawal options, more modem UI, But since im not a developer and can't write anything i want
How about you check on Fiverr if you could see a very good casino gambling developer that could help set up your perfect ready made casino for you. Because  I know Fiverr and Github to be the best place to find the expertise needed for this kind of job, and this will actually requires a lot of fund, which you will need to work towards it, including marketing's both forum and off forum promotion
It's not only about hiring a developer, getting the software developed and that's it. Such softwares/websites require regular maintenance and checks and bug fixes, and as he said, he isn't so tech savvy himself. So hiring a developer online to get the initial job done would only put him under more and more pressure and will increase the workload even more.

One will either need to have a very high budget or a team of dedicated professionals who would create and manage everything. Because if you start with a small budget, that too by hiring developers and stuff, you will quickly end up getting bankrupt even before your business start generating revenue.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 19, 2023, 07:29:20 PM
AI generates answers I think based also on the indexed information by search engines so if it's possible AI may also collect from the sports pickers which the AI will search polls on sports forums not just depending on the bookmaker's odds.

But still, it's not a prediction that will give 100%. There are still upset fights that are unforeseeable by anyone. What would be surprising if the AI also gives you a calculation or cheats of how to win more money when you bet on different platforms.
When there are such limitations are still possible, I am not sure why this much hype is going on everywhere on all the products which are AI driven. When I tried openAI and I asked about future events, I got answers like future events are not covered. So, when these bots are running with the help of database, expecting predictions is complete foolishness and nothing else.

Honestly I do not have any plans to use any AI bots for my sportsbetting; I still believe into my own skills as per my past history and performances.
