What was the odds for Steph to win though?
I'm not sure about the exact odds on this, but I remember the other bettors mentioning that Steph to win the 3-point competition was around 1.40-1.50 in decimal odds while Sabrina is on the slight underdog side (2.80-3.00).

I also claimed that $20 free bet the other day and failed to back the winning horse. It was a fun experience, even though it's not the type I would bet on regularly.  Cheesy

I was kinda hoping that you would win or atleast gets a draw against him but oh well things happen. If its a 3-way draw then I would be the one that would escape the relegation Tongue
I also thought I could force a draw, but nothing was landing on my end, plus almost half of our answers were the same.

I guess my luck ran out after what happened last week. Tongue Anyway, BOL on your promotion battle against Jinetics/Maamanda.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fantasy game betting markets on: February 18, 2024, 04:00:59 PM
Unfortunately, fantasy sports aren't popular in crypto sportsbooks, so the options are limited. The only site I know atm is Duelbits, as they recently released their fantasy sports.

I'm not interested in fantasy betting since I prefer participating in fantasy leagues that last throughout the season.

Lec finals today, for a spot in MSI 2024, BDS will be olaying without their toplaner adam whos taking a leave for personal reasons.

They are 3x dogs and i dont think they have a chance todayz with how important adam has been to them. MDK should win this 3-0
BDS almost got the reverse sweep, and it took two losses before MDK got to close the series. In their first two losses, BDS had a slight draft advantage with K'sante, but their sub-top laner couldn't capitalize.

G2 will probably sweep MDK in the finals since they already swept BDS during the upper final, and this series won't be any different, assuming G2 won't draft anything unexpected.

The EU RMR A also ended earlier, with most top teams qualifying except for NiP and Falcons. The team that stood out a bit for me was Amkal Esports, as they had to go through NiP and Falcons.

It was a low-scoring finish between me and @dbshck, and I wasted my opportunities to turn the tide of the match.

Congrats on winning the final round, and looking at the results of the other matches, you escaped relegation while I dropped one spot in the standings.  Wink
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? on: February 18, 2024, 01:39:53 AM
What is the most challenges faced by gamblers on online casino platforms? Below are some key issues I've noted:
  • delayed payment
  • withdrawal rejection
  • can't access the casino site
These three in the list are the ones i've experienced so far and they're only minor problems if you stick with the best casinos.

The delay in payments is one of the common issues, but it shouldn't be that big of a problem unless you frequently request large withdrawals and force the casino to require more funds to process your transaction.

If I could add a problem, it's the casino's withdrawal limit because they all have different limits and can sometimes increase or decrease the limit whenever the price fluctuates.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: February 18, 2024, 12:35:35 AM
I don’t know if I’m really staying my points well but I wish to know if people really have to gamble without intentions of making money?
The intention to profit is still there because they stack up even if you gamble with smaller amounts, but the difference is that you take it less seriously, unlike others who put in more time and effort because you know that gambling is more likely going to make you lose money at some point.

Those gamblers would still try to win because winning usually makes it fun, but they're more aware of their capabilities.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 18, 2024, 12:04:07 AM
what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,  also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.
I disagree with the addiction part, but it's understandable if he wants to stay with what works best with him since there's no need to change when the current casino is already enough. There's no point in convincing him once more, knowing that those promotional offers or bonuses won't be enough to change his mind.

In the poll, I voted sometimes only because some casinos can remain competitive and are willing to one-up their competitor if it means getting more players in the future.

In a competition like this one you can't afford to fallback by putting everything in one basket at this stage unless you ready to hit rock bottom should the zero points follow.

And it's commendable that you applied your law of probability well and showed your risk management skills, otherwise had Bayern done justice this would have been another story Roll Eyes !!!

And personally my gut feeling told me to go with a Bayern besting but I had already submitted my picks and no VAR here for my late change...
That's the situation for me in Pot B, currently at the near bottom of the leaderboard with little stake to lose.  Cheesy

I also imagined Bayern potentially waking up any time, which led me to make a plan B as i've already made the mistake of going all in one of the previous weeks, gaining nothing in the end.

That 90+ minute goal from Shakhtar saved me from trailing by two points.  Grin

I need a solid bounce back in the second half, and hopefully, the Southampton match delivers with tons of goals.

Also, how long does it take before the weekly free bets are credited? I just don't want to waste it since they usually expire in a few days.

Let's go Lazio made the upset. I knew they could do it, but I regret that I only had half of my stakes.

Initially, I had all ten points on them before finalizing my prediction and used the other half for next week's matches. Tongue
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler lost what he couldn't afford to lost and broke his TV after game Lost on: February 14, 2024, 01:08:47 AM
Here in my hood, someone staked $1,000 to a bet with little odds and to all hope that there was no possibilities of him loosing the game but revise be the case that the game got cut off in just 3 minutes for the game over and then he could had cashed his winning.
It's a stretch to say that the bet had no business losing because you can never count out underdogs until the final second of the game. Those late comebacks always happen, and it's why I always tone down my bets if I want to bet on close matchups.

Also, going big in a favorite bet is always a recipe for disaster when bookies like to overvalue favorites, and then they become a trap for several bettors.

I'll be counting on you @ralle14 to win your last game against dbshck to save my ass  Tongue.
I doubt i'll get another six-pointer, but we'll see if my luck would carry over from the previous round.  Wink
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 12, 2024, 04:28:23 AM
Both teams are pretty dominant in this tournament so I really wish I hit this, although this one is relatively at smaller stake than I usually bet but hey its going to be pretty nice to hit this bet though. Honestly, Im quite unsure with Team Spirit on dota2 but I bet its going to be relatively easy 2-0 for Team Spirit on cs2
Donk and the boys delivered against Faze, while Yatoro and the gang got outdrafted so hard by Gaimin Gladiators. I guess Gaimin Gladiator is back to playoffs mode because that 2-0 win against Team Spirit was too clean from start to finish.

We have a few lower-bracket matches today and who would've expected all the higher-seeded teams are one series away from elimination?  Shocked

I'm only sticking with the Team Spirit series and skipping the Team Liquid series because LGD looked worse, and the other series is somewhat off, with XG being overvalued mainly because of their better group stage results.

AC Milan with a solid 1-0 win at home against Napoli to give me a crucial point in our matchup and it all comes down to the Super Bowl question with the Chiefs winning or not.  Wink

So far, it's been a tight defensive match, with both sides having to turn the ball over, and i'm praying for the Chiefs to come alive because the Niners are starting to gain a slight advantage.

Edit: Wow, it's unreal that the Chiefs edged the Niners in OT only because their kicker missed the extra point around the fourth quarter.

Just how competitive is it to win here?
The bet-free 6-6 promo is somewhat competitive, and if you check the results from the previous rounds, most winners always end up with 30 or more points.

On top of hitting 6/6 match results and over/under, you need to hit at least 3 or 4 correct scores at the minimum since they give the most points (5 per score).

The last time I participated I had a similar result and fell short on the correct scores (1/6) while having 5/6 on both results and totals.
