We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all attendees of the first Espers community meeting! All of you who showed up were a big help, lots of good ideas and strategies thrown around. Not quite the turnout we were hoping for however due to a short notice, poorly planned, whack scheduled meeting it wasn't bad at all. This being said there are a few things now that we need to talk about with the rest of the community as it will define the way Espers continues to progress. At the end of this post will be a meeting minutes notes so that way everyone can see what was discussed.
First off is the question we all have been waiting for:
MANY users have exclaimed that the coin count is much too large for their liking, due to the coin count there are also other minor issues that cause inconvenience to the end user and that is not something we like to have our users experience, EVER.
Another issue was that a few users wanted PoS to be implemented and to be honest there is no issues in having a PoW/PoS/PoR coin as the PoS can simply be the portion of the PoR that would still reward bagholders however on a capped max possible payout so that way no one user can have staking control over everyone else. Keeping the system fun, fair and with more options for those without mining hardware. So in the end it was strongly suggested that we conduct a swapout (as upgrading the current source to a 0.10+ BTC based source directly from the current source would take an unreasonable amount of time. By conducting a swapout for what will become the new Espers it will ensure that many of our promised features are immediately released upon swapout due to simplicity of integration of features to the newer sources.
Directly below is the proposed swapout details:
Espers (you could call it 2.0 in a sense)
- Drop max coin count from 500B to 50B
- Conduct a 10:1 Swapout for all current users (preserving value)
- New coin will be a PoW/PoS Hybrid from the start and later have PoR
- Secure p2p messaging/emailing system will be released upon launch of the new chain
- Blocktime interval will stay the same 20 seconds (Unless users want this changed)
- Block reward will drop for PoW considerably to allow for proper payout schematics
- upgraded base reference source from a 0.08 BTC base to a 0.10+ BTC version base
- No more MAX TX issue
- network monitoring
- Much much more (feature wise)

- Multiple community members are quietly developing software to interface with Espers system
- Get younger people involved (local community)
- Host virtual get-togethers to get different communities and people involved from around the world
- Re-arrange the ANN, sort miners in order of OS and release date
- Suggest Swapout to a PoW/PoS hybrid while we finish PoR and implement the messaging system at time of swapout, most suggest 50B and a 10:1 ratio
- Mobile wallets with staking/pow/por generation will include S-Messaging
- New chain will eventually store user account info (if user wants to register their account to the blockchain)
- 2 FA ability (mobile wallet will request permission from the user’s full client/phone/alt email/Espers-2FApp)
- Setup a SMS to Espers Messaging system so text messages can be received by Espers users and visa versa
- 2 FA ability with custom Espers App instead of going through sms to a user’s phone
- Load videos on the CryptoCoderz youtube
- Actively update facebook/twitter
- Conduct daily vBlogs unedited on youtube

Espers 2.0 sounds great.. I am in full support on the list! Any timetable yet for the implementation? A good updated roadmap should be forthcoming! Now it's time to get as many as posible ESP
