I completely agree to this point, there was unexpected sudden rise in BTC price last year, it rose to 19k USD from 1.5K USD with in 2-3 months, that was a shock to everyone and many were expecting it to rise further which however could not happen, a big correction like this was expected in BTC. If we talk about price still almost double before the bull run began last year. I think big investor will come and price will start rising slowly now. |

I am deeply concerned about what's going on in India. The current government is a backward thinking government who are more interested in building temples and creating religious collisions within the country. They are also trying to include their own people as the head of every institution. New Governor is just another example of that initiative. BJP is trying to get hold of the cash reserve of the country to control their own agenda.
I don't see any hope for cryptos in India until the current government stays in Power. They are trying to establish a cottage industry based on cow dung and cow pee. It seems like we are travelling back in time instead of moving forward while the brightest minds are opting to stay abroad.
I do not know if you are from India or an indian communist questioning current govt. I do not want to go into deep analysis but since the day BJP has formed govt there isn't any scam but that is not what we need to discuss here. Cryptocurrency in many countries are still not legal due to no regulations controlling it, I am sure once blockchain technology becomes popular it will be accepted by Indian govt as well. I had a small scale investment on bitcoin and i invested on it when the market price is 30% higher. I never thought that market is going to fall down which results to the loss of some of my money if i will sell my bitcoin holdings now. Seeing the market price i consider it as a damage which is 30%. Well if i may ask you do you feel any damage right now? I wanna know who are those people who are investing prior to the market price fall down?
Not exactly due to bitcoin but my equity is around 90% down due to altcoins but Bicoin has also decreased its value many folds. I would say you are lucky to invest at this price, just hold it for sometime, it may recover soon. Its around 10 months of bear trend and people are not waiting for big money to come in, once market starts recovering everyone will be buyer elevating BTC price. |

I mortgaged my house to buy $300,000 of ETH at 800. I dod not tell her. This house was paid off in full. Now I cant make the mortgage payments with my job. First rule of any financial market is " Do not invest the amount which you cannot afford to lose" and you broke this rule. Its really sad that you mortgaged your house for ETH which is very new in this financial world. I can understand your situation as I made same mistake once, not invested such a large amount but the money which I needed, I invested in forex which I lost later, it cost me around 3-4 years to get be on track. I would suggest you now to just keep holding your ETH, may be for 1 year or more, adjust your expenses and be patient, there is nothing much which can be done at this moment. Lets wait for market recovery and last do not tell anything clearly to your wife but give her just a hint that you have invested money somewhere and it locked for sometime. |

Trading seems easy but its the very hard to be accepted as job, trading is not that easy as it looks, I am in to trading for around 8-9 years, I have read lots of tech analysis, money management, controlling emotions but truly speaking I have not succeed yet. Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.
Investment in any financial market is good but it should be given some time to grow, also only the amount should be invested which one can afford to lose, I hope you have not invested all your savings. Bitcoin will be back to your buying price of may be more but it should take some time, just wait patiently, your investment will grow by time, give it some time like 2-3 years. |

There will a bottom but where noone knows, only various predictions are there. As per my personal thoughts $3000- $3300 should be the bottom and price should retrace from here. Bitcoin price remained stable at around $6k for quite sometime and a last dip was expected to create panic among holders and this dip of around 50% decrease in price should be the end of this trend, lets see how price reacts.

"Buy the dip" is something only fools believe - and as can be seen in here there are unfortunately many fools in here who do not understand that their money is already lost
Its "buy the dip" not 'catching the falling knife' try to understand difference between both these quotes, if you try to catch the falling knife you will definitely get hurt, rest about holding Bitcoin, believe me even 2% of total population in the world is really aware about bitcoin, I doubt, so it is irrelevant to say that there is no one to hold or buy it further. market crash is very normal, just accept it and wait for the right opportunity. |

People looking for quick rich schemes are most common prays of scammers giving high return in a short time thr pump and dump schemes, be careful while subscribing to such schemes. Fake ICOs are the worst scams these days, its very difficult to find out which project will turn out a scam as initially their whitepaper and website looks so promising. I came accross one ICO which was initially looking a good project, they run bounty campaigns in 3 different stages and in the last they closed down everything. I think there should be some regulations before launching of an ICO.

Did you hear the part "could" which can be next week, next month, next year or never. If you know the way bank work, you would realize that they cannot just wake up then decide what they want to do with customers deposits. Except they finance another company to carry such activities with no relationship with the bank and enough provision to cover for the possibility of it failing, they cannot pull it off. Every cents in the bank is accounted for and monitored from the Central Banks, deposits commissions, fraud units etc. The point is, its not that its impossible but the allowance to use deposits of customer to engage in crypto currency and be open about it, has to come from the way top which we all know its not something that is easy to come by. Its a good proposition and I hope to see it happen anytime soon. Its true that banks have to report everything to central banks but that does not mean that banking sector cannot enter crypto market, if you are aware the biggest bank in Saudi has adopted ripple. Banks basically invest in different sectors like real estate, stock market etc other than providing loans to consumers which generates income for them. Investing in crypto may be the other choice for banks, its possible that banking institutions may start investing in crypto sooner or later. |
