Hi soniq,

I'm interested in 10 stakes buy.

The deal seems legit and all. But please explain why are you propagating BitBillions in your signature? It is most likely a pyramid-scheme scam, where community members reffered by you personally could easily get robbed of their BTC.

signature:
Missed Out On Microsoft's IPO? Apple? Maybe Google? Click here for the next event bigger than all three combined ( http://www.bitbillions.com/?refid=1CfDhutF8XfumgoX4i7knKBatshvZ1zxRq/ )

That doesn't build much trust man.

I have read Bitbillions full business plan and have to disagree.  But you are entitled to your opinion.

Nobody knows how this or any of my other BTC investments will turn out. If I had a crystal ball I would gladly share.

On your advice I have changed my signature

KNCminer wrote on Jupiter miner page:
Quote
An additional gain of 30% more hashing when the advanced algorithms provided by ORSoC are applied.

So, buying 1 share = 2BTC our hashrate will increase from 11.66Ghash/s to 15.16Ghash/s if they will apply these advanced algoritms?

Yes, that is correct if advanced algorithms work

soniq, why did you send btc to this guy?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=213968.0

An address you control sent btc to 2 different addresses that "VPSguy83" posted.

According to post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157930.msg1676001#msg1676001
you control https://blockchain.info/address/1N1U4nFNDpVEqZYthcbXNbL1Qq2KjQ1qB6
because you sent 2.5btc in this transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/8ff0ac6dbb80bf08e4a75f98c7974205e680f504e828e7505855d0fda2cc34c9

VPSguy83 then used 2 addresses in his thread
https://blockchain.info/address/1CkhnDPQpK5CiQWf8r6WfVwet5F7Kozu7C
https://blockchain.info/address/1HD5drkLSsy6iCL2RjEqwMYpLYa2HRX6Du

You sent btc from 1N1U4nFNDpVEqZYthcbXNbL1Qq2KjQ1qB6 to both these addresses.

Did you get scammed by this guy or are you part of the scam?

P.S. Hoping I'm wrong somehow...

I have investments in a large variety of BTC investments, some will work out, some wont.

I talk almost daily to Jon, so far everything seems legit, but have not heard from him today

When I started in BTC about a year ago I invested in an IPO called Asicminer, heard of them?   You just never know who going to be the winner and losers in BTC wild frontier. I have also invested  in Bitshares ( bytemaster)  a FPGA for LTC (Nova) have a BFL and a Avalon preorder,  several Pyramining accounts, and Bitbillions. Will any of them succeed?  I have no idea?
489  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy]12 KNCminer Jupiter's [Live][Updated] on: June 06, 2013, 05:36:32 AM
Have you paid VAT on that order, what country are you ordering from?

no vat as kncminer are hosting?

That's what I'm interested about if I decide to buy one.. it's product basically sold in Sweden, staying there, it's kinda logic that VAT should be applied. But then again I'm not Sweden or EU citizen, not sure if that changes anything.

good question, I will send them and email

494  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy]12 KNCminer Jupiter's [Live][Updated] on: June 05, 2013, 09:09:33 PM
Perhaps you could get a trusted member of the forum to verify your identify, John (the escrow guy) for example?

I have done some transactions with John. I will send him a PM to verify

PS: I have sent a PM to John to verify identity

PPS: I am going to be away from the computer for the next  3 or 4 hours, will respond to inquiries when I get back
495  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy]12 KNCminer Jupiter's [Live][Updated] on: June 05, 2013, 09:03:26 PM
Sorry mate but I don't see why people would trust you enough to send you 720 BTC.

They don't, I am sending 60 BTC to KNCminer after every 30 shares are sold. So shareholders will be trusting KNCminer with 720 BTC

They will still have to trust you with 720 BTC when you get miners. You could simply never pay what you mined. Not saying you'll do it but you could and they can't do anything about it.

It's just too much trust to one random forum member for my taste. The fact that you went for big number of miners just intensives that feeling.

I have an opportunity to buy 12 Jupiters, it does not mean that all 12 will sell.

All my private identity will be provided  to shareholders

Hi

apologies if my question looks a bit stupid and your thread is then full of inane comments.....

I think I'm interested in 2 maybe 3 shares (If we're not limited to 1?)

so this is ->

12 jupiters x 350gh =4200 gh total hash
4200 / 360 =11.66 gh per share
- 2% management fee and other incidentals

So at todays difficulty rate = roughly after fees 11.4 btc per month

(Assuming 24/7 uptime - reboots maintenance failures etc will prob understandably come into play)

Quote
-> Are my maths about right?
yes

Quote
So as a share holder, would I have anything to log onto to see how my investment is coming along?
(Most miners love a tweak... so i hope this is read only so my 359 partners do not tweak my investment!)
read only, KNC will be hosting miners and optimizing hash rates

Quote
Will I receive anything saying I am a shareholder?
(Certificate of part ownership etc)
your payment address in blockchain and I will create a password protected Google Docs spreadsheet with all investors

Quote
Will these commence mining in September?
I hope so

Cheers

So each 2 BTC share corresponds to 11.66 Gh/s, is this right?

350 GH/s/30 shares =11.66GH/s per share

So 30 shares per Jupiter... Are all 12 in <500 bunch or just 5 of them?
All 12 Jupiters are in preorder slot lower than 83. I have #77, #78, # 83 and a Mars preorder

Will add photos of all preoders, if requested. And a email from Sam at KNCminer that states that I am entitled to order 12 Jupiters.
