Because people are idiots and all think they experts and that their opinion is fact. Also is is all about the viewer count and money. They will tell you that bitcoin is a creation of the Devil if it made them money.

Also, it is India.... What do you expect? They scared because they treat their people badly and now the people have a tool of liberation and the government can't have that now can they?

You shouldn't be spending your money on anything without doing the proper research and I don't just mean investments I mean anything.
If you do and you lose money then who is to blame and what did you expect? You can't just say "cool I will buy this or that and it will be an investment and magically grow and that is that" no sorry not that easy.

It would be awesome to use an ATM when I go out and need fiat for food or getting into clubs and such and for everything else I use bitcoin already.
It will solve the problem of needing a wallet with me (I mean actual oldschool wallet not bitcoinwallet ^^ ) When I can keep my phone with my bitcoins on it to withdraw from an ATM. I just don't like the high fees.

What makes your friend think he knows what he is talking about?
Many lolz I even know of third world countries that accept bitcoin at some of their online shops.
I use bitcoin very often to pay for things. Transfer fees are $10 and take 10minutes.

Bitcoin is not going to drop much moe so wait for a downward spike and buy during it then later see how much profit you nabbed. People always wanted a second chance not to miss an oppertunity and here is one and it is happening right now. People will slowly start buying their bitcoin back and others like ourselves will buy them from the people selling so it will recover from this impact. Bitcoin is resiliant but it needs time to heal.

Now go out there and buy bitcoins!! Wink

People should really learn how to read. It shocks me so many bitcoin holders can't use half their brain.

India is even talking about using blockchain technology so they definitely not banning it, but sure believe any half-assed report you read online....

I still remember bitcoin at $3500 and I was like wow !! Then it just mooned. Not it is just under $7000 still much higher than $3500. People don't read and freak out. India was not going to ban bitcoin or crypto just illegal use of it and that goes with most things but people freak out. Then the thing with the finance minister and Korea and China always causing a stir. Maybe people are over it now and calming down and realizing crypto is here to stay and won't just disappear overnight. It is like worrying that the internet itself will one day not be there.
