Can someone please tell me if I just can keep my EQT coins on Cryptopia?

Of course you can, but most users warns about keeping large quantities on exchanges .. especially this littles.

UPDATE :

EQT Blockchain switch over to new difficulty re-target algorithm would take place on  14:00 GMT August 11 .

Github : https://github.com/equitrader/Equitrader

We would be contacting pools and exchanges to update their code base to the the current code .
The switch over would happen automatically so after 14:00 GMT the chain would be mining blocks with new difficulty re-target code .

For Users having EQT in their wallets , they need to update the wallet , nothing special has to be done . Please don't forget to backup your wallet .
All balances etc will be retained when running the new client, nothing special needs to be done

Thanx for the update let's hope everyone updates their code on time .

HOW TO HELP THE CHAIN AND MINE THE BLOCKS

The current Blockchain Hull is due to mining difficulty which is making it impossible to mine blocks and move the chain .
We need a lot of hash power to move it and for that we need everyone's support .

GUIDE

1st ) Register & Create Workers

STRATUM :
stratum+tcp://eqt.suprnova.cc:2408
First step is to make an account at https://eqt.suprnova.cc/
After making the account you need to create workers ( These workers will be the one which will help you mine EQT )

2nd ) Rent a Rig

Now you need to go to : https://www.miningrigrentals.com
Register and Make an Account
Deposit Bitcoin

After this you need to rent a rig .

GO HERE :- https://www.miningrigrentals.com/rigs/scrypt

Now you need to add your workers details which you created at supernova

Now you are ready to go , check the hash rate and go to https://www.miningrigrentals.com/account/myrentals to see the performance .

Thanx for the info , I am mining

Helps a lot

The difficulty I have with escrow is how to choose a trustworthy service.  I've heard stories of individuals with reliable histories suddenly flaking out.  Are there escrow services more dependable than individuals on the forum?

Look no further than the fella above you.  Blazed is more than reputable here.

These are just individuals, right?  Why should I not be skeptical of them as you are of me?

I would trust both of them in front of you for many reasons, nothing personal.  Since you dont conduct regular business here there is nothing from stopping you from disappearing after receipt of funds, it is possible blazed and og could do the same but it wouldnt probably make much financial sense to considering the business they conduct here.  Just like being an honest miner....at this point they make much more money by being honest then dishonest is what it comes down to, at least for me it does but yes due your due dillagence when choosing an escrow.....which you will have to do to make any sizable trade on here.

Yeah, its tough.  Wasnt JohnK a well-known reputable escrow service before he just disappeared one day?

I understand the healthy skepticism.

I've successfully executed auctions on here in the past without a hitch.  I'm also the guy behind www.stellaw.info

With the recent uptick in BTC price, I'm trying to sell some of the casascius coins I've been sitting on for a while to be able to purchase a pinball table (which are quite spendy).

My numbers are just asks.  Gotta start high, right?  Smiley

Yeah, how have these been taken care of... please and thank you! Looks nice! Smiley

5x 1 Bitcoin (brass). 2011. REDEEMED
Asking .2 BTC

Is that .2 per coin, or .2 for all 5? Thanks!

.2 per.  I'd entertain other offers.

Have the 5 and 1s been without cases since you purchased them?

The 1s and the 5 have been stored loose in a ziploc bag.
498  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Coins for sale - 1, 5, 10 on: May 29, 2016, 06:20:51 PM
Are you asking 3x face value on all coins?  Shocked

Yes, that's the ask.  I will consider all fair offers.

so if you guys are using same firmware as trezor what really is the difference between yours and theirs ? .. doesnt that kinda makes them both same other then the price difference i mean ?

the bootloader is different.

If you can set aside your tinfoil hat for a moment, you are correct in principal that these are the 'same' devices.
