Future DECENT token swap? This just got interesting. Time to do more than thumb through the white paper.

These apps/games.....Will they be playable on smart tv's too?

I guess they are playable on those devices as long as the SMART TV's are Android based of which all the apps will be based on it.

Most Smart TVs that I have seen use Samsung apps so I'm thinking that they would work. I'm not so sure that the market demographic they are talking about is the same as the ones buying smart tvs but if they succeed then they have to take into account all the possible customers and cater to them.

Glad to hear this update! I always admire on the team's steadfast commitment towards this project and keeping the community informed asap. With this traits, I'm very optimistic they will achieve their goal very soon! Smiley

Thanks for the kind words.
Having been on both sides of these conversations, waiting for an update or giving the update, I've learned that communication is an absolute must. Before, during and long after tokens are distributed. Whenever I am holding tokens of a project that the devs have gone silent in, I worry about the future of that project. Even if the devs are not silent but post one or two messages a week that are seemingly random and never address any of the comments from the community, I lose faith in that team immediately. On the other hand, we've got projects like Dimcoin that ended their ICO almost a year ago and they are still very active. They even post weekly updates and answer comments too. That's commendable. We vow to keep our community updated on our progress and dealings. The good and the bad. If we have failures or setbacks, I think that information is just as important. No project goes off without a hitch. You all are coming along for the ride so buckle up.

What the heck happened in our bounty thread? Whoa! We are forced to lock that one and throw away the key. We will try this again though. The thread is redesigned with the three most important rules displayed across the top so big that nobody can miss them. Luckily the actual bounty hasn't actually started. We were still in the sign-up phase. Please don't begin participation in any of our bounties until you have been approved by an admin. (except for the creative bounty. no approval is needed to be creative) Then, once approved, please do not post participation links in the comment section. The comment section is reserved for the creative bounty submissions.
Sooooo. Bounty Campaign... v.2.0
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: URAllowance Bounty Campaign on: April 07, 2018, 04:09:40 AM
Everyone. Seriously. Read the Header of the OP. Then read the rules. You must first be accepted into all campaigns except for the creative bounty campaign. This thread is for posting creative contributions. DO NOT POST PARTICIPATION HERE. THERE WILL BE A FORM FOR THAT. None of you have been accepted yet. The campaign is in the application phase. It says under the general rules to not post here. Please follow the rules from here on out. Especially the part about SPAM. THANK YOU.

Ok. read carefully. If you have been participating without approval, that's not good. I'm not a total dick though so if you are accepted into any of the bounties that you have preemptively joined and started. I will allow you to use the work you have done and posted here only if you fill the proper form and wait till you are accepted.

One More Time.... This Thread Is For The Creative Bounty

1.Quick update. Our meeting with Dmitry Machikhin was postponed due to his crazy traveling schedule. He did tell me that taking on an advisory role would be tricky because he is working on Midex full time. He couldn't yet commit to that title. I fully respect that decision. Some ICO advisors that I see on twenty projects at one time makes me wonder if they are really advising or just selling their profile picture and name. He loves URAllowance and is an advocate for education on any level. Great guy all around. While I was researching him I discovered he is also humble. He never mentioned that he has fought and won some important battles for cryptocurrency against regulation. We are lucky to have gained his interest. If he can't give us proper advisory due to his busy schedule, he will take on an ambassador role for us. Whatever is decided, our team is happy to have him onboard. Our rescheduled appointment is set for April 16, 2018.

2. The alpha version of our platform is in development and we are putting the finishing touches on the new website early next week. Unless we find time this weekend. We may surprise you. The new website will look much cleaner and professional. Our CTO is a wizard and never ceases to surprise me. I did an alright job on the current website but as any visitor will be able to tell you, I'm not a pro web designer. So stay tuned for that.

3. Partnerships. We have a few important meetings this weekend with two local (Las Vegas) companies that are crypto veterans. I won't give up the names just yet. If next week rolls through and I haven't mentioned who they are then we didn't come to any terms.

4. Our Team/website/whitepaper/business plan/SWOT Security Audit is apparently sitting in the outbox of CryptoCoinConnect and the results are looking very good. According to them. I still wait to see it with my own eyes. I will post it here not more than one minute after we receive it.

5. Token Contract/Crowd Sale Contract. Complete. Since we are 100% self-funded and can't afford an outrageously priced celebrity to audit our Smart Contract, we are first having it audited internally. We have full confidence in its security. It was written by our CTO and none of it was outsourced. However, We understand the importance of external auditing so we will be starting a very generous bug bounty prior to deployment. If necessary.

That is it for today.

One more thing. We are willing to negotiate with some Seed Investors and or Venture Capital to help us out with some of these increasing Pre-Sale expenses. Everything would have to be done by the book though due to our geographical limitations.
Thanks for reading.

Hell yeah! I'm staying tuned for the bounty thread! Way too excited to properly function, hahahaha. Let me get something off my chest, I think our kids are the future (cliché, but it's true) and it is vital to teach the ways of crypto. URA could be a great reward system, haha…

Absolutely!!! Our kids are the future. The way we see it, mass adoption is not going to happen overnight. I'm not talking about mass acceptance. When I say mass adoption I mean crypto domination. Bold words I know. But think about it. The current lawmakers are stubborn and set in their ways. They grew up counting money with only 2 decimal places. What happens in twenty years when the lawmakers are replaced? Who are they replaced by? If we make cryptocurrency a part of our kids everyday lives, mass adoption becomes automatic. This is because crypto will be a comfortable form of currency that my son is familiar with. We have short-term goals of educating the next generation in financial responsibility. Our long-term goal, mass adoption, is simply a bi-product of what we are going to accomplish here.

Well, they have a very generous bounty thread i should say.

They are not looking for quantity. It is all about quality. I respect this.
You are right and what I really like is:
"No penalties for quitting the signature campaign at any point after joining. If you find a better offer, contact admins and we will prorate your earnings and say thank you for wearing our sig."  Cheesy

Btw, you could add the bounty link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3233467 on the ANN.

I really like signatures giving people to right to leave.

But i can't join because my current one doesn't allow people to leave Smiley

If a member gets accepted into a higher paying sig campaign, we think that it would not be fair to penalize them wanting to earn more. Some campaigns are hard to get accepted into and when they have an opening they are often times open for a limited time. We know the forum's ins and outs. We are not just here to capitalize on the ICO trend. We were here long before this became popular and we will be here long after. I've never joined a sig campaign because I've always created and worn my own signature for affiliate marketing purposes. That doesn't mean that I haven't paid attention to them. The inability to leave has always been a turn off for me with most sig campaigns. So after discussing it with the team, we decided to allow our participants to leave whenever they want. I even have a hard time with locking participants into the translation bounties. That's not so bad though because no one is limited to one translation at a time.

Thank you for noticing. However, the requirements have been set a little bit too high. Quality was definitely our goal here. We expected we would have a minimal amount of qualified signups with the current requirements. We were right. We will be lowering the amounts of friends/followers/subscribers required for the bounty campaign. Thank you.

How easy will it be to use your contracts for parents? Is there an easy to use interface in which you can put in contracts and let the kids check their stuff?

Yes. our smart contract editing is completely user-friendly. It's basically wysiwyg style input fields on the front end and pre-coded solidity with the blank data inputs filled in by the submission of the front end contract. It will be thoroughly tested. Right now a drag and drop smart contract written in solidity is untrustworthy when it comes to the transfer of funds. Especially in a crowd sale or Token generation type contract. Our Family-Smart contracts will be fairly simple though. Each having 50 lines of code or less. I am not a developer but I am very involved in the creative process. I don't want to give the impression that I could write a Family-Smart contract myself from scratch.......Yet.

I get your point about Oracles but if you think about that, Oracles are parents in this program and if they give a duty to their children, it is logical that they will decide whether is it enough or not. Even if you do a ai that can check the jobs and give red or green mark to it, if a parent is irresponsible enough can say "hey don't be sorry here is 200$ for you to spend on pc game, don't tell your mother"

The ultimate thing is parents need to be responsible. If they are not, URAllowance is not a magician. Just a tool for parents to help themselves.

That is exactly what I was getting at. The parents are the Oracles.

The modern use of the word oracle has sometimes become bastardized, meaning a good source of information.

In the classical sense oracles were not infallible at all, in fact, the priests deliberately misled people to influence politics, as the oracle's prophecies were understood to be the will of the gods verbatim - yet gibberish under the influence of chemical fumes, and the priests could interpret that gibberish as they pleased.

It is the classical sense of the word oracle, not the modern bastardization, I believe to be the correct meaning in the context of the Oracle problem. It is about the trustworthiness of the conduit, or like Michelle24 said, the interface, between the input and the output.

Bear with me. If you have ever watched an episode of Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer you may notice he is not so much training the dog as he is teaching the handler. In most cases, the handler is the source of the trouble, not the dog. Similarly URAllowance should be teaching the parents, not just their kids.

Bingo!! Absolutely correct. That is a huge piece of the URAllowance solution. We are in fact providing the tool that parents use to teach themselves how to teach their kids. As URAllowance matures as a platform, it will also become wiser. The URRules Forum will fill up with useful advice from parents that have been through the process and as time goes on, we all become better and more aware. I can't think of another platform that unites families in such a timeless manner while simultaneously creating real-world economic value and providing education that is also ageless.
