481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice 101 on: September 09, 2021, 01:12:52 AM

I implore you to take my advice here and get rid of your mentor.

He is likely trying to leech off your wins to claim that you only won them because of his guidance, whilst blaming you for the losses that you incur as you 'didn't follow instructions properly'.

There is no system that can beat a house edge, period.

If there was then why are casinos willing to put up billions of capital just for you to win over time?

They're not stupid man.

I'll do the same but if he is stubborn then he can wait for the time that he will lose a lot of money then he will realize that there is no such thing as the right instructor it's non-existent especially in the world of gambling all gamblers have equal shares of winning and losing especially in a dice game your chances in dice is not even fair, compare to sports betting.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: September 08, 2021, 11:23:58 AM
The popular opinion now is buy the coins that are down, and when the market recovers that you'll be in profit. While that saying is correct but that doesn't go for all coins. Don't go buying every coins you see losing value just because you think when the market bounces up, they'll follow. Majority are losing value because people are seeing them for what they truly are which are just a waste of investment and time, also a ticking time bomb waiting to explosed.

I don't follow the rule buy when this coin because it's still cheap I like to see the potential of the market and why it's going down, every coin suffers from uptrend and downtrend you should check what is the reason why the coin is moving that way, not because of the market condition but more so on the opinion and reaction of its investors.
483  Other / Off-topic / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas Rematch discussion on: September 05, 2021, 11:06:13 AM
Pacquiao just announced that he will announce his decision in the month of October if he wants to go for the presidency or will continue boxing and win at least two more fights before he retires so the rematch is still up in the air and depends on Pacquiao's decision if he decides to continue boxing, I'm sure if he wants to continue boxing he will go for a rematch.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never judge a token by it's name, Dev aren't your friend on: September 05, 2021, 10:16:18 AM
I saw Cake at 0.5 and thought that was overrated, after all, a financial project called "Pancake" with a token called "Cake" couldn't be serious. I followed it for 1 month and when I saw it, it shot to 8 dollars, so I waited for it to fall and bought the 6. It was one of the best moves I made, but still, I ended up missing the timing, because it reached 40 dollars and I ended up selling it at 15, in that insane fall

I don't go for names anymore, there are coins in the past that I've invested that bear a great name and slogan that connotes prosperity and riches at a short period, in the end, they are the ones who get rich and prosper when they scam their investors, some of the stable coin in the market with an unusual name for a project are Pancakeswap, Apeswap and of course Doge.
485  Other / Off-topic / Re: Traditional Banks Vs Ponzi Schemes. on: September 05, 2021, 10:08:02 AM
To some extent they are they need money coming from their new depositors to run their business, I consider them legalized Ponzi scheme, they hire businessmen and creative thinkers to use their depositor's money to grow the money, I don't think they can manage a business without using their depositor's money once money stops coming in,  they will have a hard time with their liquidity.
486  Other / Off-topic / Re: Knowledge is the most important key on: September 05, 2021, 09:54:36 AM
If you have a great knowledge, everything about you will be special Even your social network naming right.

Although I know asking will be futile, I just have a quick question: what does knowledge have to do with social network naming?
Or did I get something wrong here?

I also do not have an idea why we should attach knowledge on picking social network naming you can use the wisest or knowledgeable name of people as your username but that doesn't mean you are as good as those you attach your name, whatever your name is you will be judge on how you think and act and give your opinion.
487  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use deodorant? on: September 05, 2021, 09:50:38 AM
Citrus or lime is a good alternative and potassium aluminum sulfate or Alum is widely used in our country and this is the one I'm using, I also do not consider using deodorant because of the many harmful chemicals on it, Citrus and Alum last for 48 hours and stop perspiration also.
488  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your favorite altcoin? on: September 05, 2021, 09:09:47 AM
what is your favorite altcoin and why?  Cheesy

When you mean altcoin that means other than Bitcoin, I have three altcoins that are top on my list and comprise the bulk of my investment but I have 15 other altcoins in my wallet, the top three altcoins are Ethereum, Binance, and Bitgesell I have high hopes on these three coins in the coming years of course I'm still looking for other coins to add to my portfolio.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Warrington vs Lara II -Sept 4 on: September 05, 2021, 08:58:05 AM
Although the ending is a big disappointment especially to Harrington who wants to revenge for his loss on their first match I don't see an immediate rematch because of the injury Lara suffered, but both fighters a rematch in the future, Lara will have to take some time to heal the injury, based on what I saw on the fight Lara is leading in the fight.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 05, 2021, 04:15:35 AM

Funds are not confiscated. Only the account was suspended. That was based on the feedbacks before that I read on Facebook where funds are given a chance to withdraw.

But to be honest, there are no users yet that provide proof that their account got suspended due to gambling exactly. I think that was just a speculation of their users but in reality, there's another reason why accounts got in question like in 2017 example, where lots of coins.ph account questioned as earnings big bucks to ICOs are everywhere and coins.ph was mostly used exchanges because of lack of competition before.

If the government of the Philippines looked at the progress of Cryptocurrency in their territory he will just look at the financial performance of Coins.ph and since they have millions of users and millions of transactions they implement a full regulation into it, they are part of AMLA which is an anti-money laundering board in the Philippines, and they treat gambling as a possible gateway of money laundering.
491  Other / Off-topic / Re: Concerning so called Climate change & Global warming on: September 04, 2021, 03:01:53 PM
Here is what you need to know, it's not what they say it is. It's not even close. Their theories and guessing is even worse than the blind men trying to  describe what body parts of an elephant are: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blind_men_and_an_elephant
Don't believe or trust the World, whether it's the doctrine of the so called left or right. Believe the Word of the CREATOR of this World. The World is approaching hell, so things are reacting on earth.

What you see happening around the world is reversible. It can easily be reverse right now once they surrender to their CREATOR. HIS Glorious Presence alone will make all living things rejoice and blossom. It will quickly calm the weather.

The only way we can combat this is Climate change & Global warming is propagation and education, there are a lot of organizations and big personalities that are doing this but it's not enough we have to participate in the propagation and education and we can start on ourselves if we practice energy conservation and only suing recyclable materials, we should touch and make one a believer if every one of us can do that we can achieve it.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They do not want the great riches... on: September 04, 2021, 09:52:37 AM
They want the baby gains. Invest 1000 into ethereum for a chance to make 50 lousy bucks a month.

They do not want to invest in the heavily undervalued, newer projects that could make them rich.

I made a thread about a crypto gem called oneledger here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5352752.0

when it was only $0.008

Then it later went up to 0.02432

now sitting at about $0.02

nobody wants to listen to this stuff. They said they'd rather invest into ethereum...

People want sustainability and long term profit, there are so many coins especially new coins that get a pump into their development stage only to weaken as it progresses, Ethereum is a very stable coin if you are just starting out and looking for reliable and low-risk investment Bitcoin and Ethereum are two of the coins that can give you that, so no need to blame investors majority of them want stability in their investment.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: September 03, 2021, 09:30:55 PM
The fight is a done deal so why start an allegation now when Plant should be in his training camp and train as hard as he can because he has a very tall mountain to climb now, they put a lot of effort putting this fight and he accepts all deals laid out by Alvarez, then why he is starting this allegation now, is he cooking up something in case he losses to Alvarez and that is the drug issue, this will be a lame excuse for him if he loses and he is going to lose the fight.

A common scene in every match either they want to hype more the fight so issues are thrown for more people to pay attention and watch the fight or there's someone who likes to attempt some distractions to both boxers.

As long as the allegation is clean and backed up with strong claims, nothing wrong to throw it. But if just a speculation, should just be simply ignored and let the people who witnessed the fight see if there's something wrong.

If he is going to make accusations he should have done that when they are making a deal, not when the fight is progressing, he just wants to annoy Canelo, which I think is a cheap trick he can thrash talk him but accusing of taking an enhancement drug is very personal and putting Canelo in a bad light, whatever strategy he employs, he will have a tough time beating Alvarez.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: September 03, 2021, 01:17:03 PM
https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/la-liga-betting-shirt-sponsors-2020-21-season

The new law has knocked down strongly all the preferred advertising options for betting business. They cannot, for example, be on a teams shirt nor celebrities from sports are allowed to promote betting houses or platforms. Also, the adds in TV can only be run late at night. Needless to say that is a torpedo on the finances of several teams and may affect their ability to recruit and maintain the right players.

Teams directly affected:
Quote
Alavés (Betway), Cádiz (Dafabet), Granada (Winamax), Levante (Betway), Real Betis (Betway), Sevilla (MarathonBet) and Valencia (Bwin).

They are trying to kill that lays golden eggs, they are taxing these betting platforms so why they are limiting their promotion, they should contest this, they have loyal followers I don't think they will run out of business or bankrupt since these restrictions can hamper how they run their business they must find a way to counter this they will have to find new ways to promote and advertise.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 03, 2021, 06:22:14 AM
This is a short definition of Metaverse according to the article
Paid to Play in the Metaverse – the Crypto-Based Future of Gaming

Quote
Not only is the game world persistent, but players within the Metaverse can do things they are unable to do in any other video game. It links real-world commerce and communication with the virtual interfaces for such systems.

What exactly can you do in the Metaverse? You can buy land, form a community, start a business, buy and sell art, and even raise money for real-world charities.

There's a lot of better things this metaverse is offering to the gambling community I have tokens on two metaverse project and so far they are doing great in the market in two years time the metaverse gaming will rule the gaming and gambling online industry but of course, traditional Crypto online gambling will retain their shares of the market.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to make money or for FUN? on: September 01, 2021, 03:29:31 PM
Pretty sure no one's going to admit to make money even though most of the people here wants to win. Of course the reason for gambling is fun but to be honest I think we all want to make a quick money out of gambling.

We want the best of both worlds but unfortunately, we cannot, we should treat gambling for entertainment and treat it as luck if we are making money while money, we cannot win in every session the house edge will always beat us, so we must accept the reality of gambling and only play with money that we can afford to lose but don't lose your mindset if you are winning, just enjoy and have fun.

Its their responsibility to process your withdrawal because its your own money, its just sad that you have to give one of their mods a tipped just to speed up the process and look into your request. Op is active 2 days ago and if he visit this thread he probably see your problem but it seems its not the case. I just hope it will end well with your given duration for them to process your withdrawal.
It's probably going to take a long time because @lightlord is a pretty busy person I am sure that he will resolve this issue soon as he sees it but he's just busy, I mean I am not saying that because I am part of the campaign but because he delivers, our payouts are delayed too so I know the feeling.

I still believe in his brand and his campaign, I've been here for over a year now, there's always delay in payment but when payment comes there's always a bonus I hope Psychodad will also get a bonus for that delay, I understand he has a new project called ElonCoin and he hires reputable people here, how I wish he'll drop here and fix this issue and all will be well again.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 29, 2021, 10:46:58 AM
There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol". This statement goes the other way as well, that "A man who doesn't have money is easily offended by everything and everyone".

I have put this statement on analysis a lot in mind, trying to watch my mood and correlate my happiness with the amount of money I have each time. Everytime it seems like i have overspent and almost becoming broke, there is a feeling of irritation and sadness that comes with it. Also when i get some credit alerts, there is an associated joy.

I know it is not proper to tie your happiness to finance, but i did some research into the subject and found a study that was conducted with the result that happiness increases with the amount of money one makes up until a point  where there is no greater degree of happiness from making money, but unhappiness if ones income drops beneath that range.

(See study here - https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/20/how-much-money-you-need-to-be-happy-according-to-wealth-experts.html)

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

If you are paying a lot of bills and you are broke you will be depressed thinking about all these bills and the food that you need to provide to your family, money is important to our lives and the lack of it will have an impact on how we live especially in times of pandemic, those opinions are true but if you have a lot of money don't overspend and always prepare for the rainy days, whether we like it or not we really need money especially at this point in time.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Cryptocurrencies on: August 29, 2021, 10:39:12 AM
I have never thought that using a particular coin will bring me Goodluck in betting but I would like to try that, but who knows I will be lucky to shift from Bitcoin to other coins but I don't trust that luck will change that, I prefer altcoins right now because of the market condition I am using Tron right now because of all the coins, it's a coin that's not moving at all.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: What could make a hacker return stolen $600m crypto on: August 29, 2021, 10:14:02 AM

How can that happen that a hacker does that I return the stolen crypto and say he is not interested in money. This is funny K can say that. What do you think about this story.

I don't think he is not interested in money, the hacker was tracked and he was given a warning that authorities will pursue him, if they did not track the hacker will withdraw the money, hacking has a serious impact on the market if there is news of hacking expect the market to go down, even if they have good intention these hackers should be charged and prosecuted.
