481  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still a buy despite recent losses on: June 07, 2018, 08:31:48 PM
according to the news at CNBC here is why:
the coin has seen better days. After surging last December to around $19,500, bitcoin has declined more than 50 percent since the start of the year. On Thursday, amid increased regulatory scrutiny in the cryptocurrency space, the coin fell yet again — this time below $8,000, where bitcoin had hovered for several weeks. Late Friday, bitcoin changed hands around $7,400.

Regardless, Bogart(a partner at blockchain capital) said it's still a buy. In fact, he said it's the only coin traders should be buying as the coin becomes more mainstream.

Many of the other forms of cryptocurrency, Bogart said, are "over-promising and under-delivering. Meanwhile you have a few that are kind of excelling at their use cases. Bitcoin being one of them." Bogart recommended selling coins like Cardano, TRON, IOTA and NEO.

"A lot of those tokens are overvalued," Bogart said. "They could be go up significantly, but they also have significant headwind." Alternatives like ethereum, ripple, bitcoin cash and EOS, however, he described as "neutral" — and he told investors to hold for now.

what are your insights why does bitcoin still a buy in spite of all the losses?
Of course you should be buying bitcoin right now, it does not matter what it does if it begins to go up or down or if it remains at its current price, the price we are seeing is very low compared to the all time high, this is similar to what happened when bitcoin crashed after reaching 1200 some years ago and then the price reached a price below 200 that was the moment to hoard bitcoin and even if the price is higher right now this is the moment to hoard bitcoin once again.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: A coin issued by some country government - would you go for it? on: June 06, 2018, 10:49:16 PM
Imagine that some respectable country would go far beyond legalizing cryptocurrency and start one of its own. It would surely be no scam and it would probably have a strong support, but would there be any drawbacks to the currency and the state itself? Would it get more attention than some of the biggest coins now?
It does not matter what country creates a cryptocurrency I will never use it, the first cryptocurrency bitcoin was created by satoshi as an effort to get away from the current economic system, and I'm not going to begin to use a cryptocurrency that is nothing more than a fiat currency that is designed to keep us captive of a system that is institutionalized fraud.
483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't lose your faith in BTC. on: June 06, 2018, 10:26:34 PM
Losing one's faith to BTC is just like quitting crypto once and for all. If you have just read the history of how bitcoin started and how it successfully over the decade, then you will never lose any faith in bitcoin. Ups and downs are just spices of bitcoin's success and will always will even how high BTC's market price is.
The problem is that many people do not go through the trouble of reading the history of bitcoin, the whitepaper and its price through the years, they only see bitcoin as a way to make money and when you do that and then the price goes down it is natural all of those people panic, but for people like us even the great decrease in the price is something that is not going to make us lose our faith in bitcoin.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 06, 2018, 09:49:55 PM
It can be considered as a kind of investment. You invested your "time" here instead of your "money". People here saying that "you will not lose your money" or "bounty rewards are just free coins" are actually wrong. You have worked for it and you have earned it. No way it is something you got it for free (unless it is an air drop. Air drops are shit anyways). Instead of doing the bounty you could have done something else to earn money but you chose to do the bounty program. So that earning is equivalent to your job you gave up for doing the bounty.
I dont agree, time is actually not an investment, you just spend it to something you think is worth it. bounty is a work and you will received your reward in exchange of your work. bounty is not an investment, its a work that is worth of our time.
Unless you know beforehand how many tokens you are going to get out of your participation in a bounty campaign then it is not a job, remember a job is an activity in which you are rewarded for your skills and knowledge for a clear and established amount of money, and this is not the case with almost all the bounty campaigns where you are not sure how much tokens you will get.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: June 06, 2018, 09:33:24 PM
I think those big players never got to where they are now if they didn’t grab every oportunity that comes to their way, investors are risk takers and they are very much willing to risk what they have just to gain more profit, at the same time, they acquired wisdom upon all their investments, that is why I believe that most of them would be very carfeful as well as observant in investing, and cryptocurrency is one that worth investing with.
Correct, being an investor is being willing to take risk, when something becomes a sure thing that can give profits then those profits by definition are very small, the big profits always come from things are not a sure thing, we can see examples of this all over the world like the expedition of Christopher Columbus through the ocean that was backed by the monarchs of Spain.
486  Economy / Services / Re: Rasputin Mansion Signature campaign (Full) on: June 06, 2018, 09:28:05 PM
Any update with the payment of this campaign? Did this campaign continue for another round?
I confirm I received payment for the first round of the campaign a few days ago, as for whether the campaign will continue or not that is something that only the manager can answer.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you a bounty hunter .. ?? on: June 05, 2018, 09:05:07 PM
I have seen a lot of friends who follow the bounty program to find additional income and I also do not want to miss but I am still confused because the income that I get just a little ..  Embarrassed

my question, how much income you get from bounty signature or sosmed dll. . ??
The income that you can get out of bounty campaigns varies greatly, if the coin in which you invested your time promoting goes down in value after the ico it is likely you will sell and your already low pay will get even lower but you may get lucky and the coin in which you invested your time goes up then the profits you will get out of it can be incredible way better than what you could get in any other form of bounty campaign.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: June 05, 2018, 08:52:02 PM
Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

Because the main reason why of it because they didn't understand the uses and importance of it in the future.....  They declaring war on it because they simply didnt understand it.... They keep not understanding it because they are a narrow minded and they treat it as a threat....  But a lots of country also that legalize it and we are hoping that every country will follow it....  Because BiTcoin and cryptocurrency is truly great....
Do you really think they are that dumb and they do not understand cryptocurrencies? Of course they do, that is why they are so afraid, governments have created the perfect system to perpetuate themselves in power by stealing most of the wealth of their citizens through taxes and inflation and bitcoin is the perfect way to avoid both without those two things governments as we know it will not survive.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: June 05, 2018, 08:35:04 PM
For me The reason why most bitcoin users from good economies countries
because they are open minded person in the terms of business and they are also a risks takers that can accept what will be might happen to there decision that they  make and do.
This is not about being open minded, people from rich countries invest more in bitcoin simply because they have more resources to spare, just look at the average income in a rich country and the average income in a poor country and there is no comparison, a person in a rich country can just cut some luxuries and he can invest in bitcoin very easily.
490  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: June 05, 2018, 08:20:29 PM
I will not take a gamble for my retirement in this high risk investment. Yeah I understand that we want to have a big returns but the risk is too high and considering that it's for your retirement funds. What if it goes worst? How will you recover that money and considering that you are old enough to go for work and you need money to support your medical maintenance. Will you still take a risk? I will still invest but to the amount which I can afford to lose not the whole retirement plan.
If you read some books about investment for your retirement it is common practice that if you are younger you can take greater risks since you have time to recover from them if you fail but when you are older then you need to take safer choices, so if you are young take a risk with cryptocurrencies, but if you are very old it is better that you do not do it or that at most you invest a very small amount of your capital.
491  Economy / Speculation / Re: The whole market is experiencing slump in last few days. on: June 04, 2018, 11:08:14 PM
I suspect there has been manipulation in bitcoin. And recently there is also news that the US Justice Department opened a criminal investigation into the possibility of market participants manipulating the price of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies,

The investigation includes an examination of spoofing practices, in which an investor makes an order intended to manipulate the price of an instrument, and flood the market with fake orders.
So far this issue of market manipulation has no hard facts or evidence that this is actually happening this are all speculations. The only constant with cryptocurrencies is its volatility.
Market manipulation happens in all the markets we do not need to have evidence to know that it is happening if we had evidence we will have proof of a particular case but we will have no proof of all the rest of the manipulation that is happening, you just need to look at some previous confirmed cases in the fiat markets to know that the same is happening in the market of cryptocurrencies.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: Five common mistakes made by Bitcoin users on: June 04, 2018, 10:58:33 PM
Forgetting you passwords for your wallets is a down right sin. Panic selling is another big mistake in this here markets. Investing on coins you have no idea on is a crappy way to do this. Lastly, holding on to shitcoins and hoping that it will have valuenin the future, really move on.
In my opinion forgetting your password to your wallet or losing your private key is probably the worst mistake that a bitcoin user can make we all know from before we even make an investment in bitcoin that once you lose access to your wallet or address there is no way to get it back so it is completely unforgivable to make that mistake and you deserve to lose your coins.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has dropped so invest more on: June 04, 2018, 10:36:18 PM
For me, this time is is the best time to really invest in bitcoin. We have to be really open minded and become a risk taker when we want to earn big time. And with this, I know that bitcoin is going to recover again in no time. Let us just wait and you will see those those who did not buy bitcoin during this season of investment will regret and be our first customers.
We must have the mindset of knowing that the price of bitcoin will recover but do not expect that to happen anytime soon, because if you do that and the price does not recovers you are going to be extremely disappointed with that and there is the possibility that you will sell your bitcoin for a bad price and then you will miss all the profits that you knew you could get but were very impatient to get.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 04, 2018, 10:13:16 PM
emergency funds should not be invested. because we know that this emergency situation can happen anytime. we can not predict about this. if an emergency fund is invested in cryptocurrency and you need funds but the market price goes down, will you sell it directly.. Huh
I agree, must not use our savings fund in investment, we must learn how to balance and divide our money. Mostly we used our savings for important things that we need. It is much better to be prepared for anything that may happen and you have your savings because you dont need to worry for the money that you need for that time.
Diversifying it will keep us safe, have some in bitcoin or crypto and make others for real life investment that can be used when the market sees bearable.
Diversifying is a good thing, but people need to remember that investing in different cryptocurrencies is not enough if you can invest in some other investment products then do it, even if those other investments are not going to give you that many profits  we must find other forms of investment, investing in gold and silver is a good option and if you can afford it then invest in real estate as well.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain future on: June 04, 2018, 09:51:53 PM
An infrastructure that should definitely be developed and used in useful areas. Governments are already interested in the blockchain system rather than BitCoin.
It is very obvious that governments are more interested in the blockchain than in bitcoin, they claim that the blockchain is great but that bitcoin on top of it is a silly idea and they think that because if they recognize that bitcoin is an invention that is going to change the world the first affected by it will be them and then banks which are their supporters.
496  Economy / Economics / Re: New investor and prices on: June 03, 2018, 08:18:09 PM
New investors cause the market to be more alive and les svolative, also the ICOs will rise and prospher in the same time
If anything it is the opposite new investors bring more money to the market and they begin to invest in it in whatever they find attractive this in return makes all the existing investors aware of their presence and they begin to move trying to take advantage of the new money in the market, and if the amount of money is big we get something like what happened at the end of the previous year, so new investors create more volatility in my opinion.
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think should invest in BITCOIN now? on: June 03, 2018, 08:11:18 PM
For the past 9 - 10 years people have been asking the same question as though they are oblivious to the facts of cryptocurrency market trends and the huge role bitcoin plays to that effect. and from $0.03 to >$7,000; it's still a surprise why people won't take advantage of interim opportunities.
I think that at the beginning it was reasonable to have doubts about the future of bitcoin after all nothing like it has been created before but after ten years I do not know what people are waiting for, it seems they are going to let pass of this opportunity, I will not be surprised that if in the future if you have a small amount of bitcoin like 10 bitcoins, you will be considered a wealthy person.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin should I invest in? on: June 03, 2018, 03:24:48 PM
I am %100 sure everyone will come here to say their own coins and you will be confused. So you should choose coins on your own. Do your own research please, we forum members are not that trustable sources. By the way ethereum doesn't need any research, you can buy it blindly...
We all make mistakes, I know that I have gotten my predictions wrong and this is not really surprising the market moves in ways that no one can really predict and this makes this market especially difficult if you do not have any knowledge about why things are happening which is why it is recommended that you learn the most that you can before making any investment or you run the risk of losing your money very fast.
for Ethereum it is not necessary for us to do research, because this coin many people choose to use as an investment, and many ICO projects that use its platform, with the current market conditions, it is very difficult for us to be able To predict the coin in the market, so to choose coins as an investment, we should be able to choose the right coin, which have good potential, so we will get a big profit.
This is a mistake even if ethereum is one of the best coins you still need to analyze the market there is no way around that, I know that they hype of ethereum is great but there are many people that invested when the price of ethereum was very high without doing any research and now most of them sold their coins already for a loss and the ones that have not do done it will probably do it eventually and lose money.
499  Economy / Speculation / Re: The whole market is experiencing slump in last few days. on: June 03, 2018, 03:10:30 PM
Whatever happening to the price of bitcoin or cryptocurrency is a normal phenomenon and can be called or regard as natural for it will rise back to it usual price in time to come. Will can't if its as a result of FUD for bitcoin but for some altcoin; they are been affected FUDs and also the price of bitcoin. If you invested in bitcoin and also other prominent cryptocurrency, its best you hold on for brighter days ahead.
People like to talk about the price being manipulated and it is probably that it happens but I think the scale is lesser than what people think, what we are seeing right now is completely natural and bitcoin has done the same several times already, each time the price of bitcoin skyrockets and it reaches an all time high the price crashes and then it needs sometime to recover during this period many lose their faith in bitcoin and sell for a bad price and then when they see the market growing again they realize they made a mistake.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 03, 2018, 02:54:00 PM
I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?
Some people just do not see it that way but I agree they are mistaken, after all how do you get money in the first place? You get money by offering your services or products, if you offer your services you are offering your time and knowledge, so if you invest with that money in a coin you are in a way investing your time already, so there is not really a difference between investing your time or money.
