Do not concern yourself with such questions we have no control about the number of investors in the market, so I think it is pointless to think about it, bitcoin is becoming more popular as time passes and this means that the number of investors over the long term is going up and not down so we will never know the answer to your question but if were to guess I think the market will fluctuate in the same way.

When more and more new investors join the market the possibility is that it will lead to crash as bitcoin is very volatile and a small correction if it happens this new investors will do a panic selling and thus it will lead to further fall in the market . I think more coins means more opportunities to diversify and compete with other coins. Besides, newer coins make for fair markets and competition and in the end will give us more diverse projects and a way to break off from the pack as it's says. i think for many new investors who are still in the introductory stage, because it is impossible to invest a lot of funds without knowing clearly the object of investment. but i think this is good for the future once they know clearly about cryptocurrency
