481  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much can bitcoin cost in Future. on: November 23, 2019, 09:12:24 PM
Bitcoin price is uncertain and we couldn't predict how much would it be in the future.
I think the current event has proved it already Bitcoin could pump up rapidly just like what happened in 2017 and it could also drop down insanely just like what happened in 2018,
And in the past couple of months it also shown us that we couldn't tell how would the market moves, So predicting the price after 10 years is so hard and I think no one could get it right.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22nd November 2009. Satoshi created a forum called "Bitcointalk". 10 Years ago. on: November 23, 2019, 01:31:36 PM
Wow it has been 10 years since this forum was created.
I think most of us are thankful that we found this forum and it helps us a lot to understand crypto currency.
I think where ever Satoshi is right now he/she or they are proud of what he have created both BTC and this forum.
483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a scam? on: November 22, 2019, 06:35:26 PM
Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and in a situation where I need some advice.
A person I know, who I have been in contact with for months now (through social media), has been trading bitcoin for me and some friends. Everything seems to be fine and seems to be really trustworthy.

However.., now he is asking me to deposit 2 bitcoin on my Blockchain(.com) account, where he previously has had access to for the following reason;

He tells me he added me to bitcoin mining but there was a `server error' which he tracked down to my account and somehow all bitcoin is `encrypted in 1 block'. The result is a large amount of bitcoin in a `non-spendable/watch only' wallet that is sitting on my account.
He says he needs a minimum of 2 bitcoin to be added to my account to remotely start `decryption of the encrypted block', which he cannot deposit, since he is region locked. (We are from different regions)

So, to me this sounds like a scam.
1: I have done my research and found similar constructions related to non-spendable wallet scams.
2: Yes, he had access to the account, so could simply have added the watch only wallet..
3: I can not find anything about large amounts of bitcoin being encrypted in one block, and decryption being possible only after a deposit of x amount of bitcoin.

So the question is; what is your opinion on this topic?
I also noticed that the value (in dollars) of the non-spendable bitcoin is affected by market fluctuations. So the value shifts depending on what the coins are worth. Is this normal for a non-spendable wallet?

thx!
It is clearly a scam, If you really want to mine Bitcoin it is better to do it on your own so you could monitor it properly.
2 BTC is a huge amount and with that money you could already set up your own mining rig and start mining.
Always be careful on who you would trust specially on the internet we don't really know how long we could trust them because some of them are being nice to us to gain our trust and scam us.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the market goes down remember this... on: November 22, 2019, 02:56:23 PM
Next bottom has to be below $3k, that's what you need to remember.
And where did this came from?
Any particular reason or explanation on this speculation.
I know that BTC and crypto is bleeding more often this past few months but is it enough to be back below $3K again?
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the alternate plan - second option on: November 21, 2019, 02:44:58 PM
I also believe that BTC would go up next year so that is why I am trying to accumulate as much as I can.
But if the price goes down I think I would just try to keep some of it in BTC and alts then the rest would be an investment for a small business.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: November 21, 2019, 12:55:21 PM
I think we should be thankful that Bitcoin is already at $7-8K before Christmas unlike last year it was so low.
And we couldn't expect anything from Bitcoin this Christmas investor could also cash it out since they would need some money to celebrate or it could be the other way around.
We could experience a pump because of those people who would buy due to their Christmas bonus or something.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: November 20, 2019, 04:38:23 PM
Yes people should be aware of this kind of scams in the crypto industry,
Specially those new in crypto they could easily fall for those sweet words they should also learn to do some background check before they invest on anything.
I also think that this is the reason why other people say that cryptois a scam because it is being used as a tool to scam .
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of you Bitcoin Hodlers are mentally ill - *Must Read! on: November 20, 2019, 03:14:35 PM
And despite all this, you still come to Bitcointalk to talk about Bitcoin! Why on earth would you register on any specialized forum just to post you don't like that forum? Only people with an agenda do that, so I have a message for you: There's no stopping Bitcoin, no matter how many anti-Bitcoin-shills you send here!
I think OP is one of those who have high hopes on crypto or those who thinks Bitcoin is a quick way to be rich but reality hits them so hard, And lose so much from their investment.
And also how could you call all of the Bitcoin holders mentally ill if some of them are even making a big amount of money compare to other people who works 8-12 hours a day.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 12:16:07 PM
We all have different reason why we hold and in your case I think you just didn't have a plan or a target to sell off your crypto's.
You bought it right before the market rise up but your only plan was to HOLD it and don't know when to sell it and this is why most of us traders are losing money in our trades because most of the time traders like us would just lose patience and sell off our crypto to cut loss.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 19, 2019, 04:20:48 PM
To all newbies like myself on this forum, you never know what you are missing if you are not visiting scam accusation thread regularly on this forum, this board right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Can safe you lot of headache when you are still trying to invest on a project but you aren't sure yet whether to invest or not due to lack of solid information or

You haven't decide on which bounty project to promote yet, some members are very good at detecting scam projects and from time to time they always reveal fake/scam projects on the board, make sure you seek for better info before making any decisions, seeking answers can help.
Yes this is a really great help for those who still didn't know a thing about it.
That could save up a lot of money for investors and also time and effort for the bounty hunters.
I remember that it saved me one time when I was about to buy some alt-coin because it seem's to be a good one but I saw an accusation about it and tried to dig deeper and after a couple of weeks that alt-coin drop down.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Simple idea on: November 19, 2019, 02:45:20 PM
Hi fellas, i want to drop this info mainly for newbies on this forum that just start getting familiar with crypto wallets, i was waiting for some tokens to get delivered into my coinomi wallet since a month ago but they never appeared but the projects teams claim its been sent but guess what? i decided to track my address last night using Etherscan and i saw all the tokens there, sometimes your tokens might have arrived in your wallet but you won't know until you track your wallet address or you manually add token contract address, thank you.
That is why I am only using MEW or MyEtherWallet for my Erc20 tokens .
It is important to always check your wallet in etherscan because those new crypto wouldn't show up unless you manually add them in the wallet.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one makes sense on: November 19, 2019, 01:23:54 PM
Which one should come first? better to get through bounty before ICO/IEO fund raising or better to run bounty while fundraising is ongoing... Suggestion need
If you are looking for a higher stake or much more higher reward then join before they even starts the fund raising.
But it is also risky sincewe wouldn't know if they would be successful or not.
But if you want to secure your reward then join the bounty campaign that have an ongoing fund raising that already have a huge amount of investment.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are to be blame for what happened to them on the internet on: November 18, 2019, 06:50:47 PM
When it comes to money people like trying out things the way they see fit, try first learn later is the rules of newbies and thats why they always get scammed easily, HYIP, Pyramid Scheme, as dangerous and alarming these two are people still join them till date, both crypto and internet is not the evil here, people are to be blame for what happened to them
Yes it is true we are to blame for whatever we have done.
It is our choice me made the decision ,
For those who fall victim on those scam it is their fault for being greedy and lazy for not trying to have a proper research before investing.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best altcoin which gives 2x profit in 1year on: November 18, 2019, 05:23:17 PM
please suggest me some best altcoins that can easily give 2x profit if I hold them 1-year.
Don't rely on others when it comes to your investment put up some effort and try to learn to choose for your own.
We could easily point out some well known alt-coin since they all have potential to grow some of them could even give you more than just 2x profit next year but they could also drag you down.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Red trust account users can still introduce good bounties on: November 18, 2019, 03:40:39 PM
As we all know that accounts with red trusts are those who break the rules on this forum either by plagiarism or scamming habits or even more and newbies are been warned not to engage in any type of deals with them but on bounty part its different, good bounty projects can still be introduced by users with red trust account and this doesn't mean the projects are bad, for example sessia bounty project

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5118659.0

Which actually was a profitable and a successful bounty of this year, new bounty hunters should not be too worried about this, just do your own research on any bounty project
Yes red trust accounts are being used to join some bounties.
But I think only few are still around I think most of the bounty hunters are already tired and sick of being scammed for their work.
And accepting a red trust account on bounty or signature campaign all depends on the bounty manager there are some who are willing to accept them and there are some who are strict .
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware; Do not Fall for Phishing Sites, Do Not Be a Victim of Scams on: November 17, 2019, 05:52:06 PM
Damn! Any airdrop asking one to pay is scam. Also, I usually advise crypto enthusiasts, don't just click any random site you come across,  some will even install spyware to your device. Some sites will ask noobs for private key or keystore, in a bid to hack their wallets. Let's be guided please.
Just a little bit curious how could you even call it an airdrop if you need to pay in order to receive it?
People are surely being blinded by their greed if they would fall on to this kind of tricks.
And also those airdrops that would ask for private key or keystore is clearly a scam so how could anyone fall for it?
Those new in crypto should be guided properly and know the difference between scam and legit airdrops if they want to join airdrops.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: November 16, 2019, 07:50:49 PM
The altcoin markets has been favorable to few but not all. it is presumed that the early and private investors rake out big cash on New and old altcoin projects leaving many projects at the mercy of the cryptomarkets for survived.  Although Most altcoins that has gone down below ROI to the verge of disappearing from the market are increasing daily.
One of the ideology we all know about the cryptocurrency is the knowledge of Holding back some altcoins we believed that will do well in the long run. it is an interesting thing to NOTE that these TWO Altcoins made me have a strong feeling that cryptocurrency can be a fortune if you are lucky to invest on it

BLOCKV
 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/blockv/

and
THORECOIN
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/thorecoin/

A closer look on these two altcoins will make you have a rethink about holding some altcoins, what to hold and Not to sell off everything if you have to sell. Both token raised from zero usd to a high price. even contesting with the top 100 coins on CMC. i am sure there are other altcoins that made this moves in the market but it's quite unfortunate that few people are holding such while some has sold off.

So, before you make that decision of selling off everything that you have in wallet because the market is down and out. please reconsider before you regret your moves. you might be holding a token that worth millions in the next 2 years.
If that is just how you would choose the alt-coin that you would hold then I am sure that there are tons of other alts that would be listed on your portfolio as well.
We couldn't be so sure that those crypto could really be worth something in the future .
We have seen so many crypto ends up dead or being worthless so I think it could also happen to any crypto as well.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020 on: November 16, 2019, 07:04:49 PM
I think those who are on the top list of crypto right now would still be the good one to invest next year .
I don't really trust the new alt-coins since I already lost too much from those new crypto.
My best pick would be BTC,ETH and LTC.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Keybase airdrop fake not pays on: November 16, 2019, 04:34:10 PM
Be care to keybase airdrop that promised 500 xlm. Is a scam.
If you are going to accuse some project as a scam please provide some valid proof and more information how did they scam you?
Because based on the previous replies this project seem's tp be paying maybe they are right that you have missed something or just being impatient.
500  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are people of today hates learning? on: November 15, 2019, 03:07:19 PM
I get your point and I think the reason is they are to lazy for it
All they want is the profit and doesn't want to learn how to make it happen and this is also the reason why there are so many people screaming scam in crypto.
They all just want some easy money to have doesn't want to work for it.
