481  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 07, 2017, 04:44:49 AM
Not yet bro. Why too late when bitcoin's price is still rising? You can still grab some right now and earn a profit later. Just be careful when the August 1 date comes. I think you need to hold on to them. After that date I believe bitcoin's value will rise again after a little drop.

So what is the benefit/interest of a token holder to keep it for long term?

profit from selling ticket maybe, my question is, what is benefit for people who buy ticket with this token ?

Yow, friends, perhaps you didn't even care to scroll on the 1st page of this ANN thread. Should you have done so, you wouldn't have brought out such questions.

Anyway, perhaps to read the whitepaper of this project is too hassle for you to do so you might want to check out this very short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzODwzjplF4

I hope it informs you of the gist of this great Aventus project.  Wink
483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: July 06, 2017, 03:07:12 AM
I have just posted on the other thread discussing about certain serious disagreements and perhaps to a certain extent infighting among the people behind bitcoin. This may look rather normal among workers but when it comes to the people behind a brilliant project which is bitcoin, this may cause a serious trouble. Such serious disagreement may soon cause bitcoin to wither away.

A split is coming because of this.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ladies and Gentlemen, Bitcoin is about to be Centralized on: July 06, 2017, 03:00:29 AM
Maybe the fight within core team and miners will bring to some crazy decision supported by bank/governs. However, despite the Bitcoin brand is rather strong, people will not be so stupid and if Bitcoin will loose its basic ideas and priciples, another blockchain with more privacy will take the place...

Infighting is really a serious threat to such a thing as bitcoin, considering that they are basically the ones controlling the system behind it. In this regard, fiat monetary system is basically more stable and has solid grounds as they are regulated by laws and not just several people.

But as a radical invention in response to the existing banking and financial principles, this will not easily crumble down. A certain crypto may do but others of essentially the same kind will be born.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you follow daily crypto news? on: July 05, 2017, 09:13:20 AM
I follow them here. It is more neutral here. The posts are unbiased although some are unreliable really. But I just have to weigh on the various opposing views sometimes. The trouble when you monitor them through their websites is that they are more or less favored to their side. That is expected. Coindesk is also a big help.
486  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: July 05, 2017, 06:34:20 AM
no!!!!

I am not either.

What is wrong with you people? Can a man and another man create a family? You call a man and another man a family? Come on! Isn't it something more than awkward? I cannot imagine how this world would look like if families are made up of woman and another woman and man with another man.
487  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 04, 2017, 03:20:38 PM
Why not? You've got a new idea here bro.  Grin It looks like new. That would be a jackpot to the newlywed. Their married life would be a lot easier to start if you do that. How about 1 bitcoin, eh?
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 04, 2017, 06:50:42 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

You can already use it now bro. But not everywhere you want. There are still very limited stores, hotels, and I heard airline (in Japan I guess) also that accepts bitcoin as payment. But when it comes to online money, bitcoin is number 1. I think when the world will be fully connected to the internet, bitcoin will become even more huge.

Hi dev. I have changed my signature already from member to full member. I am also wearing an avatar. Please update when you have time.
I understand you are all busy. Thank you so much in advance.

Okay now I'm confused with the signature. I've noticed some full members who have different signatures, do we need to change it to the current ones? I don't want to be tagged as having "no signature" on the spreadsheet just to make things clear.

Hi there thanks for asking this as there may be others who are confused. Anyone who has used the Aventus signatures will be compensated regardless of whether they are using the previous signatures or the updated ones. The updated signatures should be listed on the updated ANN thread for any who wish to switch over. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

I'm a little bit confused dev. What do you mean by "The updated signatures should be listed on the updated ANN thread for any who wish to switch over."? I think this is the updated ANN thread. Do I have to post on the other thread for my rank up and avatar?

Which thread should we be posting our change of rank and avatar? Is this on this thread or this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1955231.0 or this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1957939.0? Please clarify. There are several threads for aventus.

Thanks, again!

Hi there, yes there are multiple threads now due to a number of updates over the course of the campaign. This thread IS the updated thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1979867.0) and the one you want to keep up with.

The bounty thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1957939) has the current signatures. For all rank ups and avatars and other bounty related information look to this bounty thread (I believe yours is updated).

This link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1955231.0) is to the older thread that is no longer being used. Apologies for the confusion, does this help clarify?

Thanks dev. It made my concern cleared. However, mine is not updated yet. I am FM right now and with avatar. And even during my member week my stake is still 0.5.  Sad I've already posted this concern on the proper aventus thread.

Few more weeks and the ICO will start I hope it will run smoothly and it will sold out right away. For the meantime I will keep promoting this campaign.

A couple more weeks bro. This will be a total sold out. I can assure you that.  Wink We totally agree on it, right? I think we will be guessing instead of how many hours from the ICO launch will the tokens sold out.  Wink To the mooooon!

493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you include bitcoins in your will (and make it a quest)? on: July 03, 2017, 05:45:26 AM
(hypothetically) When I die I'd like my children to have all my bitcoins. So I was thinking of writing a will to give each of them equal amount but to make it more fun I'd hide the keys from my wallet and make it a quest.

How old are you right now, mate? If there are still several decades left of your life, we don't know whether bitcoin is still alive at that time. Well, provided it still is, there will be a great actual bounty hunting for your children. I guess it would be much fun. But I think it would also be prudent of you to invest some in actual business. That way, in case bitcoin will perish into thin air when you die, they still have something left.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Russia] Burger King to accept Bitcoin this summer! on: July 03, 2017, 03:54:40 AM
This is good news. But this is still a single branch yet, and in Russia.  Wink I hope it will turn out well and good in the future. If this will boost their sales then perhaps this branch of Burger King will be emulated by other branches and hopefully other food chain as well, especially the huge ones that is found across the globe.
495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS is nothing compared to U.S. cops. on: July 03, 2017, 03:49:53 AM
US Cops compared to ISIS? This thread is a LOL. LOL.  Wink Anyway, there are always rotten tomatoes everywhere. There are some in the US police department definitely. But in the ISIS, everyone's a rotten tomato.  Grin You cannot enter ISIS if you're not rotten, mentally, spiritually, and so on.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: July 03, 2017, 03:41:37 AM
There are different ways to earn with your bitcoin. If you are too afraid to trade then try some campaigns here, signature, social media, translation, and so many other services. If you don't like doing them at all then perhaps hold your bitcoin for quite a while and it will still earn. So you see, your bitcoin will always be worth it.  Wink
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin accepted at New York pre-school on: July 02, 2017, 10:10:43 AM
Of all schools, it is a pre-school that initiates the first move. That is simply amazing. I kind of love the idea of the man behind this school's policy. That is something novel. I hope such a brilliant and huge step encourages other establishments to do the same.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is when you know you should immediately dump Eth as fast as possible on: July 02, 2017, 10:05:08 AM
Why immediately train your guns at ETH just because a stupid scam ad coming out? Does that come from ETH people themselves? Of course not. Why would the people behind ETH commit a suicide on such a scam when they are already trusted? That would be suicide. Why the obvious hatred to ETH? It is fast gaining and investors are banking on it. I would say I would love to invest on it.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2017, 09:58:28 AM
People use bitcoin primarily because there's a veil of anonymity in your transactions. That's the answer. They also bitcoin for trading, meaning to say to earn money. When they say that people use bitcoin because of low fees and fast transactions, I doubt it. People do not use bitcoin for buying small things. That is not worth it actually.
500  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin fall to 1000$ please prediction crisis on: July 02, 2017, 09:50:37 AM
will bitcoin fall to 1000$  please prediction crisis

Highly unlikely bro. I think this price decrease for bitcoin is another temporary setback. I am afraid this will last until the month of August. But it will not reach the $1000 figure. I hope not. But this low price will get back after August or even in the 3rd or 4th week of August.
