4801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 25, 2021, 07:52:11 AM
The Lakers played as bad tonight as I’ve seen. They are being exposed badly for their lack of size. They need to pick up Cousins, Whiteside, Drummond, or Howard if they want to make it past the first round of the playoffs. I still have no idea what they were thinking when they decided to overpay for Harrell instead of get a steal on Howard. I blame Rich Paul.

Harrel is still in his prime but with the game earlier with Utah Jazz, it's clear that they can't have a championship without AD. Man, that's a blowout earlier and both their defense and offense are lacking lately. They better rest AD well since he's gone they collecting some losing streak. Thankfully, they were in the top 2 before he got that injury. if it was in the to 7 or 8, then the history will repeat itself like Lebron was injured in the 2018-2019 NBA season they didn't make it to the playoff that year.
4802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Federal Reserve Bank Of Boston statement! on: February 25, 2021, 03:51:12 AM
Here is the statement from the President of the aforementioned Bank....So he is either purposefully missing the point of Decentralisation or he actually doesn't understand the difference between Bitcoin and a bank implemented cryptocurrency?.....
"I would suspect, down the road, that a number of central banks will have digital currency," he said. "When there is a digital currency available, other than the underground economy, it’s not clear why people would use bitcoin."

There's nothing about their digital coin and people might be interested to invest in it but if they have some features that you can convert your BTC to their digital coins, which is stable coins I believe, then that would be helpful for us. we have now another alternative to our existing stable coins. The name Bitcoin underground economy because they cannot access any control of it or they cannot get control of its market. Whatever they say about it, more likely bitcoin will have its positive exposure which makes it more popular than the other coins.

How about the All Star snub of Devin Booker.  I thought he deserved to be in.  Phoenix still isn't getting any respect around the league, but they're beginning to earn it.  I suspect a playoff run this year will change things.

Hell yeah! Why is everyone not talking about Devin Booker, this guy deserve an all star slot, Phoenix has transformed from a shitty team to a serious NBA championship contender although that was when Chris Paul entered the team but still it would not be possible without Booker.

I'm sure if they'll have a good run in the playoffs, by next year fans would already vote for him.
Honestly, I'm excited to see what they can do in the playoffs, as long as Chris Paul is healthy, I know they would pass the first round.

Looks like Booker got his spot on the all star team after all. He’s replacing the injured Anthony Davis. It is well deserved so congrats to him. Looking forward to seeing him in the game and likely the 3 point contest as well. Phoenix representing!  Wink

To be honest, today's NBA has so many good players even the all-star teams cannot fit all of them but luckily this guy managed to get himself in. Anyway, he deserves to be there from the start and now he's really in. Some player Domantas Sabonis didn't make it although he has some skill to be an NBA all-star. like I said, it's a matter of who is the very best it's not just the best.

4804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin did you make the most money from? on: February 25, 2021, 02:13:37 AM
For me, that had to be Ripple. I traded for 100%+ thrice and still holding a position at $0.40.
My next coins are:

1) Ripple
2) ADA
3) Bitcoin
4) Ethereum

What's yours?

In my case, it was ETH cause this is the only altcoin that gave me a huge amount of income that I'm even able to buy the things that I really wanted. I sold it too early than the current price but still, I got the best of it and managed to buy some things that I don't possibly get at my current state. Of course, you need to have some courage to buy those coins from their early price so that when the price would pump, you will be able to maximize your gain.
4805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Failed as Money? on: February 24, 2021, 03:10:33 PM
You know that it can be used for large transactions and of course to the merchants and companies who accept it as a payment. We are practically in the beginning of a long journey of bitcoin; we should understand that it is still unaccessible for countries who ban the use of it, and also those people who merely just can't access it due to their status. We can't conclude to the statement that it failed as a money.

To make it as money will take a long journey since the lightning network is not yet fully develop. But certain things like local exchanges are beginning to make it possible because if you trade some BTC using their platforms, the payment you made is automatic than if the receiver is also using the same exchanges. Now if some crypto exchange will be used around the world as a universal crypto exchange then Bitcoin as money will likely become possible. I think what Paypal wants is to create such universal crypto payment as well.
4806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 24, 2021, 01:03:33 PM
It was another solid performance from Luka Doncic last night vs Celtics. 6/8 3-point accuracy for him which shows he was in fine feather. He had 31 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. I wish he made a triple-double also but it was still a great performance.  Grin
That was a huge shot by Luka, he is a cold blooded person, he can shoot a game winning 3, I think that shot was familiar, I've seen that in the playoffs I guess. And with that, I think we should not doubt on Luka getting a starting line up in the West.

Yeah! no doubt about it and if he will get someone to fully support him in the team, then they will bring the Mavericks together into the championship. too bad this year is not for them since they are not getting enough wins to climb to the playoff tree. That game-winning shot last night was huge and both veteran and current players are praising him for that incredible shot.
4807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump just after a new listing? on: February 24, 2021, 04:49:36 AM
Friends i want to ask about a think that i realy cant explain...there is a token called AME that had an ieo price of 0.02...the token get listed on bithumb globale and the price down to 0.006 (bounty hunters and airdrops)...after the sell off end the price go up and stay a long time between 0.01 and 0.013...the team annaunced a new listing at mxc exchange and everyone expect a big incrass(the token had just 2.5 mln$ marketcap at 0.01) but what really happened is that the price decrass to 0.005 within one week and this make me confused...now the price is 0.08 and i start believing that what happened in mxc in the first days wasnt innocent

Who have an idea about the situation?

This is a normal scene in the altcoin industry and every year, you will see such kind of scenario. the people who sold their token earlier was the one who managed to earn some decent amount of income while the others who take too long to sell their tokens might only get the half of the price of their investments. Most likely the price won't recover since it sinks to the bottom already but if they happen to have a secondary big-time investor which will also invest in their tokens some big cash, then the price will recover slowly until the current big-time will be followed up with another one and so on so forth.
4808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Downtimes during Panic Trading will cause the next Crypto Market Crash on: February 24, 2021, 03:31:42 AM
I am calling it today. Binance usually goes down during peak and panic trading, which makes fear and uncertainties grow bigger. Most volume is being handled by Binance world wide. We are in a sad state with all these beautiful decentralised crypto currencies, but we all went for one exchange plattform because of low fees and convenience.

That's why you need to think fast before that happened because when the downtime is fixed, the price of BTC might sink to the bottom, and you might lose your chance to sell your BTC at the high price. Yeah! you're right we choose those popular decentralized exchange for their convenience and safety but if ever panic trading has come, then we need to make some best alternative and the best alternative I can suggest is moving your assets to USDT because that's the only way to preserve the current price before you get caught with the downtime.
4809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is the right time to gamble on football. on: February 24, 2021, 02:56:26 AM
It should be taken as fun and no profession as you can’t rely on a profession which relies on luck. The best time to gamble for me is when the two teams recent forms are the complete opposite of each other for example when a team comes out of 5 wins and plays against a team which has 5 lost games the team with 5 wins should have an easy win here. However this is just theory as in practice we have seen all kind of things.

Yeah, that's right, it's like touching your own shadow which not gonna happen at all. You may see some possibilities that you might get the win but in reality, it's all about the odds and sometimes luck is not on your way so you better not study those things because it won't really help you either. Nevertheless, If we count that way, those who are professional on the football field will always win their bet but they're not instead they lose big time than the other gamblers out there.
4810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crashed below $48K, is the bull market in danger? on: February 23, 2021, 11:48:34 AM
Bitcoin price dropped below $48,000 in a major correction on Monday right before the U.S. market open.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-crashes-below-48k-but-is-the-bull-market-in-danger

Nah! this is just some sort of decline temporarily and it will move as soon as the market will recover. Remember that most people are waiting for the price to decline and they will give their best to invest in it. Now we are having some decline in the price which is normally happen when the price is about to pump. You guys need to remain cool if you wanted to maximize your profit in this historical bull-run or sold it now and regret it when the price of BTC will create another history with its price in the market.
4811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 23, 2021, 06:00:25 AM
Kuzma and LBJ were missing their shots in the 4th quarter which lead them to lose this game and they could get the win since they force overtime. Those free throws in the 4th quarter were really crucial for both teams but they missed it and lead them for OT. Finally, the Wizards took control of the game and managed to win this one.

That's their 5th winning streak and they're doing good so far.

4812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul moving to Puerto Rico, fight back on? on: February 23, 2021, 05:20:26 AM
I don't think the fight with Mayweather will come into fruition. Seems no one wants to watch their fight so it was shelved. And for Mayweather, if there's no money, he won't do it. Maybe Logan Paul just don't want to pay hefty taxes and that's it.

That's right when they officially announced their upcoming fight which is obviously we already know it was cancelled, people don't really care as if they don't know Mayweather. It is because they don't want to spend any money just to watch a clown fight where everything is a joke and scripted. Just like this one:

4813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the Key on: February 23, 2021, 04:12:39 AM
You are one of the people who actually wait too long to get your money a hundredfold from your investment now you earn both money and respect. Some people from your era might already give up just a few months ago after they want to try a long investment which they think won't work. But you proved them wrong and here you are telling your stories to us and you've just proved that patience and perseverance really pay off if you are really sincere about your goals. The thing is, there are lots of people who think this kind of strategy doesn't really work because of the volatility of the price but as I said you need to have a goal first before running into some action.
4814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 23, 2021, 03:22:16 AM
James Harden back to his old self with not just scoring but drawing fouls. Nets look unstoppable and can only imagine how good the team will be with all of the Big 3 in form. Shouldn't be long that we see Durant back in action. I have no doubts that Brooklyn Nets will top the eastern conference. I'd like to see the odds that sportsbooks provide for it. Could be an interesting prop bet.

With the new form big 3 from the east.

It's very possible that they'll be able to dominate and bring this franchise to the top. They are just one loss away from  Philly. If they continue playing as a team, then KD comesback much healthier. The very chance to see them in the finals is really exciting, either
Lakers or Clippers they are capable to compete, too far for that though, let see how they'll continue this winning streak.

They haven't put KD in the court yet since they winning the game continuously without him. Damn, Brooklyn has some sort of outstanding players in the court and they were really lucky when they acquired James Harden from the Houston Rockets. there's no doubt that they are the ones who won the trade. The guy is so good with Kyrie Irving and Yes, if KD goes back to play, they will become unstoppable again but they need to fully rest him so that there will be no problem in the future.
4815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 22, 2021, 12:08:28 PM
^ Bob Arum says lately, this fight of Manny Pacquiao and Crawford have a possible overseas with a new site fee. https://www.boxingnews24.com/2021/02/bob-arum-says-pacquiao-vs-crawford-possible-overseas-with-new-site-fee/.
This is a big favor to Crawford when it comes to $$, it's a big payout for him while the chances of winning will probably have a 0% against Manny Pacquiao.
Nevertheless, as the article says, if Pacquiao and Crawford's fight will not happen it will possible Crawford and Porter would be a tremendous fight.

This fight has a higher chance to happen because the offer is not that bad and the fight is the dream fight of any fighter in the division where Manny Pacquiao's current weight class is. I think if Crawford will get the wins here, he will no doubt make a name for himself and money will come afterward cause people will know him after the fight. But of course, he needs to get some clean unanimous decision or if he is lucky enough to knock out Manny Pacquiao in the ring. This is how it should be and Manny was like that when he was fighting as an underdog. To be honest at that time. he doesn't really care how much he earns as long as he can show the world some good fight.
4816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have a Bitcoin exit strategy? on: February 22, 2021, 08:00:49 AM
Hi, just to be clear I'm bullish as hell for the next few months but I think it's generally accepted that this bull run will probably come to an end at some point this year.

I'm wondering if people here are planning on getting out of crypto or significantly reducing your stake at some point this year and if so what your plan is and where you are looking at reinvesting your funds?

I think the most common is to lessen your greed and to think of the contentment that you already earning some good money already. This will helps you cast your plans afterwards because the market right now is no doubt a temptation place to hold your assets even more. I don't know if it's the same for the long holders but for the short holders, it should their best option to make some escape plan right now. Either way, at this rate in the current market situation, they cannot still decide on which way they will go since everyone seems carefully waiting for some more spike in the price of BTC.
4817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 22, 2021, 05:12:54 AM
Nets have a sloppy start, but slowly they take over in the fourth quarter, there is no way Batum can handle Kevin, I would have put Leonard to Kevin in the fourth quarter, but it's also too much for the clippers Kyrie hits three-pointers in the last four minutes George nowhere to be found on defense, great start for the clippers they just can't seal it in the end.

They should have not hesitated to shoot the three when they have the chance in the last seconds of the game instead of going to the rim to catch that offensive foul. The game was so tense when the Clippers manage to tie the game in the last minute and too bad they didn't convert it to win the game because of the poor decision of Leonard. If he kills the time and somehow shoots the three behind the ark, they could have won it but man, that's just the way it is. At the end of the day, no matter how good both teams competing with each other, there should always be only one winner.

4818  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we will see a lot of weak hands at $100K on: February 22, 2021, 04:27:09 AM
That would be the last thing for the other old investors because they really deserve it, man, I mean, they've been holding for too long right now and have been through the harsh time in the market. Not to mention the others who mentally broke when they saw the price has been down for long after they've invested in $17,000 in the year 2017. Now if they want to sell their BTC, is up to them and if they wanted to sell it now, is not that bad either but they also miss some opportunities to sell it even more at a higher price than this.
4819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hit 1M on Twitter on: February 22, 2021, 03:33:17 AM
Think about us growth. How long from it's birth to 2020 It went to 5,000. Within 3/4 Of one year it hit 50K. They estimate within 2 Years it will be at (If not surpass) 1M!
Gold has a market cap of around 11 trillion. & gold has been a store of value for what, like 2/3 thousand years or something right? so 21 trillion is way too far. not impossibe though, maybe in 10 years

That's a lot of improvement out there since the time is not really long because it just took 1 year to reach that mark. $50,000 is history and we are glad we are one of the people who managed to climb the ladder. I mean, I got some BTC before this Bull-run and I am satisfied with its current result. Now the things that I said in the early years about perseverance and patience about holding BTC are now paid off. The good thing is, it won't stop here because the price in the market is still holding on and soon it will continue to rise again furthermore. So, guys, you need to hold your horses and if you don't really have some important things to buy, don't sell your BTC yet.
4820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Miguel Berchelt vs Oscar Valdez WBC Super-Featherweight Title on: February 22, 2021, 02:41:38 AM
Berchelt was really outsmart and I would say that Valdez put a clinic here.

This is exactly what happened, looks like betting on odds alone does not work here, knowing what the boxer is capable of is the key because it's the underdog that looks like the favorites in the ring, the win is too easy for Oscar Valdez because he is hitting Berchelt with his easy shots until he KO him in the later round. Now everyone knows Oscar Valdez, I think I'm excited to see his next match.

His method of knockout his opponent just outsmart the opponent that leaves him no clue on what's going on in the ring and even though the result was not done in the early rounds, he finishes his opponent in the later rounds which are satisfying to watch. Oscar Valdez won not only the belt but also proves that he is the only knockout artist between them.
