Good AM Bitcoinland.

Sideways I see. Ho hum.

A late good morning Bitcoinland.

Missed posting yesterday because I ran out to buy the dip. Up a little bit overnight.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still no repeat dump. Maybe they're done. Seems pretty much sideways for now.

4804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 28, 2016, 04:00:51 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Another dip, all the way down below $440, which was buyable except it happened while I was at the ballgame. By the time I got back it was too late and this morning it's back up almost to $450. Window of buying opportunity closed. Oh well, maybe someone else will dump a few thousand coins more and I'll get another chance.

In the meantime these massive dumps have put us all the way back to where we were 5 days ago. That's such a long time.  Cheesy

 Embarrassed

Well look who's back. I was worried something had happened to you. What's it been? 3 weeks?

You missed all the fun of a great little month-long bull run. Hopefully you were too busy accumulating bitcoins to bother with posting here.

Seeing the pathetic result of today's frantic attempt to stop the rally, we've still got a long way to go.

All those ask walls at $466, $476, $483, $490, $493, etc., were pulled for a massive dump and it barely put a wrinkle in the price.

Too bad it's not enough of a dip for me to consider buyable. I hope I don't regret not buying more while the price is still below $500, but I did stock up pretty nicely when the price dipped below $200 and while it was still under $300.
4806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 27, 2016, 03:15:25 PM
Well good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we finally got a real correction after a month of steadily rising prices, a massive $10 crash, all the way down to where we were the day before yesterday.  LOL  Grin

Needless to say, the bears/trolls are having a picnic.

Back to $470 by tomorrow?

That might send them back home:

How pleasant. A new high for 2016.

How do you guys store your coins in cold storage btw?

Electrum, paper wallets??

Just curious, thinking about using a different method.

I use several dozen paper wallets, scanned, encrypted, and backed up on microSD cards in multiple offsite locations.

MicroSD cards are really easy to hide.

Well, well. Looks like someone's frantically trying to keep the price under $470.

A couple of fairly large market dumps and a couple of decent ask walls to back them up.

Let's see how long they last.

 Cheesy

Edit: not long

BCT getting DDOSed?

yes , its looks like

Seems like somebody really doesn't like this ongoing rally.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still in the high $460s after smashing through $470 and having a minor correction. Hopefully we've left the $450s for good.

Sideways for a while or on firmly into the $470s? This rally seems far from over, possibly just begun.

Just got back from ballpark to see the bears/trolls are having a gay old time celebrating a $5 correction after $16 rally.

"See them gaily gad about. They love to play and shout, they never have any cares. At 6 o'clock their mommies and daddies will send them straight to bed because they're foolish little teddy bears."

Sorry, no image. Photobucket is down for maintenance and I'm too lazy to post it elsewhere. Here's a nice video instead:

This has been fun and I'm glad I got to see $470 breached, but I'd better head out to the ballpark if i want to have time to get a dog and a couple of overpriced beers before the first pitch.

Let's hope we hold this gain until I get home. Cheers.

Nope. My old Honda EU2000i is working just fine. It could use a new recoil rope though.

Here we go again. China must be waking up. Do we see CA$600 on Bitcoinaverage tonight?
4818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 25, 2016, 07:14:32 PM
can china please ban bitcoin one more time ?
i need more cheap bitcoins

We had most of 2015 to stock up on cheap coins. Even as late as last August the price was below $200.

Anyone with more fiat than Bitcoin has only him/herself to blame.

That said, I'd love to acquire more coins but I'd rather see the value of my amassed coins skyrocket.

2014 was the aberration, the only calendar year that saw the price of bitcoins actually fall. Now it's time for Bitcoin to resume its natural organic growth.

Good morning Bitcoinland. I see we're back over $460 after a brief correction down to the mid-$450s.

Hopefully that was that and we're ready to continue the slow steady climb up, although I wouldn't be surprised at a little sideways for a day or two.
