...whorbling snipped...
Good good. And when you googled "traditional investments", what did you find? What did those other results from you googling "cash"+"invest" return? (Incidentally, and this doesn't bother me but it does surprise me[1] - why do you make so many assumptions about things? I'm not bothering to challenge them because it really doesn't matter, and it'll just drag out a tedious process even more, but I'm genuinely curious. It's great you think I'm a pro, though.) [1] It doesn't really. I answered you, punctually, which is to say point-by-point, following the handy Schwab link provided in your post. Hopefully you didn't expected me to search Google for what you might or might not consider to be an "investment in money," and then thoroughly refute each one, 'coz that's a crazy big job -- your brain thinks up some wacky stuffs. Regards.

Yeah! My buy limit orders went through , time to wire more fiat for another round of buys. These shakeouts don't scare veterans who have been riding the rollercoaster for some time, just another buying opportunity.
My guess is we'll see a second round of dumping, and since I am not going to act on this suspicion, it is bound to become reality. I don't need to waste any calories guessing. The beauty about a long term perspective is you don't concern yourself with the daily ups and downs, you don't get emotional, simply load in more fiat and set the buy limit for 2-5% below current price and wait for the next shakeout. Rinse and repeat. Smart investors will be doing this aggressively for anything below 1200 USD... It is all dirt cheap now!

... still wasting day after day on here, imagining you contribute in anyway I see
You're mistaken, this is just light entertainment, a way to while away the time. Not here to teach deranged old dogs new tricks -- can't be done. Tho neighborhood kids seem to enjoy the spectacle ... Smart investors will be doing this aggressively for anything below 1200 USD... It is all dirt cheap now!
The more you say it, the funnier it gets

I think we see $440-450 and quarterly future back to $10 over spot.
Still expecting another $10 down fairly soon. Quarterly futures are tightening up.

"Tightrope is the safest possible way to get around, protecting you from everyday dangers like molasses floods. All known tightrope accidents have been due to poor tightrope implementation and/or user error " @BayAreaCoins: your calls have been weirdly spot-on lately.

Track? You mean neither the sender nor the recipient of the ~$140k are aware of the mistake?

You'd probably earn more Bitcoin than the sell off costs by shorting and buying back when you forced liquidation.

You mean neither the sender nor the recipient of the ~$140k are aware of the mistake? this makes you wonder how mistakes like this happen... what client were they using? dosnt core warn you if you try and send a fee that is 100,000times higher then the amount you are sending? you'd think most wallets have implemented some common sense checks before sending.

Well good morning Bitcoinland. I see we finally got a real correction after a month of steadily rising prices, a massive $10 crash, all the way down to where we were the day before yesterday. LOL Needless to say, the bears/trolls are having a picnic. Back to $470 by tomorrow? That might send them back home:

you'd think most wallets have implemented some common sense checks before sending.
It usually happens because someone who doesn't understand how change transactions work in bitcoin tries to spend a portion of the funds in a paper or brain wallet. If you send funds from a paper or brain wallet, you need to make sure to send ALL of it at once to your wallet, then spend a portion from that. When you spend bitcoins, the amount you spend comes out of chunks you have received (inputs), and usually, there will be at least two outputs - one is the spend, and the other is the change, which is sent back to an address you own. If you create a transaction that spends from one or more inputs without spending ALL of the funds contained in those inputs, and you don't provide an output to a change address you own, any funds in the inputs that exceeds the spend will become transaction fees paid to the miner that mines the block containing the transaction. All software and hardware wallets, as far as I know, handle that stuff for you, and yes, Core, at least, will warn you if you try to send with an excessive manual fee.
