P. Lindsay@Buf, T. McLaurin vs Det or D.Parker@ Cle for my flex 1/2 PPR?
I'm leaning Lindsay but Parker is probally the safer choice.
Damn gambler in me. Smiley

shit just noticed i'm outta time!

Call me crazy, but I am going with the Jets ML over the Raiders today at around 2,50. The Jets always have the right tools, but more than often they fail to put all the pieces together. Darnold being diagnosed with Mono didn't help this case this season. But they are getting healthy again and Darnold is upping his game each week he is under center again, tossing 4 TD's at Washington last week. Jets are on a two game winning streak, albeit against piss poor opposition with the mighty Giants and Redskins struggling a lot this season. But it should still give the Jets a lot of needed confidence.

The Raiders otoh are playing a good season so far, sitting with a 6-4 record just behind the Chiefs in the AFC West. They are on a high as well, winning their last 3 all at home. These wins didn't convince me though. Only late TD's gave them the wins against the Lions and Chargers and their win over the Bengals last week wasn't very impressive as well. They are pretty poor travellers, only winning around 20% of their games played outside of Oakland. Now, after 3 home games in a row, they have to travel across the country, playing an early game in cold-ish and most likely rainy weather at Metlife.

All in all I think the odds on Jets are too high in what I see more of a 50/50 match.

I like those arguments and they are all very logical and well thought and laid out but unfortunately they can not compete with my reasons which are I dropped Williams to the wire and chose Mayfield over Carr to sit in for my QB on buy so they will naturally have their best game of the year! So there!

don't know if anybody already reported on the mess of binance offices in china..

this reference reported by bbc.reporter :

Link doesn't work but doesn't matter as binance doesn't have any offices in china and left there years ago.

Grin still affords a stronger privacy model than Bitcoin or other non-privacy coins, since amounts are safely encrypted. But Mimblewimble provides a strictly weaker privacy model than Zcash or Monero. This makes it insufficient for many real-world privacy use cases.

This is not FUD, just a heads up. I'm sure the Devs will address the issue if its possible.

I havn't spent any time in looking into this but wanted to give you guys a heads up asap.

I see him laying feces on mimblewimble in that medium article but I see no proof of the statement in the first paragraph. Can it be presented in the form of a proof? I can say that I could unveil sendees and senders in every single monero transaction but what will that account for without a shred of a proof. Disclaimer: Im not buying any of privacy coins. Will only buy when it tanks like 100 times of the current value.

Why don't you try reading the rest of the thread, specifically this post.

Good morning Bitcoinland from the Maya jungle of Quintana Roo.

Woke up this morning to a nasty red dildo erecting before my very eyes... currently. $7644USD/$10144CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

It went down almost to where it was a month ago.... pretty close to a double bottom.

Why does the price always seem to tank whenever I come down here?

Oh well. I'll be flying back up in a week. Hopefully the price will follow me.

No Warning again! Your in timeout.

Of course, anyone can choose or not to report any post, and I was more than willing to bear the inconvenience of many of the posts; however, here we have a situation that seems reportable, and such posts should be removed - banned members should NOT be able to post here.  Otherwise I agree with you that compliance with forum rules is not very onerous for quasi-normal peeps.

OK, this one gave me a good laugh! Cheesy

...

But...

If you leave a young child in that car playing Asteroids for a couple of hours, you're going to need new front tyres... BAD design. Either they should not let the wheels move with the steering wheel (very difficult to do as it's probably mechanically coupled), or they should not allow the game to be controlled by the steering wheel in the first place. It's exciting, but not good for the tyres, especially when parked on a rough surface such as a normal roadside.

Wanted to send the video to a friend who's into cars, but didn't after watching it...

Still would like to own one though. Not too excited about the racing/performance elements, but I absolutely adore the tech behind its design.

Nothing like teaching a young kid to grab the steering wheel, i swear people don't think this shit through.

If  I sold then I'm buying back.

It's not really fuD (as it is true), if you read the Devs responses they even conform it. I personally had forgotten all about this as it was discussed pre launch and it is a known issue in the grin Lab list. It is a rehash of an old known attack vector.

Basically a full node can log all this information from the genesis and have all the connecting information. There is nothing that can be done about that currently.

The Fud is the distorted way it has been presented and the hyperbole that accompanies the information as if it is a new revelation. I wish my memory was better as I should have noticed that when I was reading the article initially.

The  cut-throughs don't successfully eliminate data, because surely some entity logs all the transactions in real time and stores the data.  And there you have it, a full blockchain.

You can bet your Last Romero there are full logging sniffer nodes on this from day one.

I think you may have got them -- did you? I had Henry and Gordon. Henry hit his projected and Gordon was a bit shy of it, but I still managed to get the win, putting me firmly in 1st in my division... Definitely going to our playoffs at this point.

Nope, I was shy a bit more than I thought (1/2 PPR).

Relaunch is not necessary for the linkability issue of Mimblewimble protocol. I'm not pro at codes but hard fork is what I'm looking for as the best possible solution to address MW issue.
They can add a new way to improve MW so that the linkability issue can be solved. Grin is a solid project and I have 100% trust in devs. I'm sure they will come up with a solution to this issue
besides forking the coin.

Not that BTC needs any reason to dip but this is as good as any.
Quote
Mimblewimble’s privacy is fundamentally flawed. Using only $60/week of AWS spend, I was able to uncover the exact addresses of senders and recipients for 96% Grin transactions in real time.
The problem is inherent to Mimblewimble, and I don’t believe there’s a way to fix it. This means Mimblewimble should no longer be considered a viable alternative to Zcash or Monero when it comes to privacy.

https://medium.com/dragonfly-research/breaking-mimblewimble-privacy-model-84bcd67bfe52

TL no link clicky, Mimblewimble is supposedly dead  Cry

Good thing that Mimblewimble and BTC are not the same thing.  In other words, fuck that shit coin.   Tongue Tongue

Mimblewimble is a protocol it could have been used to create private sidechains.

Well first of all I own NO Grin or other MW coin.  The only alt i DO own in any sigificance is Monero, so there's the disclaimer...

But how many times have we heard about a cryptocurrency being toast?  I tend to take these things with a grain of salt.  On the other hand MW is a very experimental tech, and we should not be suprised when this sort of thing fails.

But why would this relative unknown coin be a reason for BTC to dip?

(one more thing...  I am always amazed anyone would give any creedence to Zcash at all... the founders reward is reason #1 to shun it, and opt in privacy is not really privacy).

Just the fact it is a Trusted setup makes it a no go, Zcrap is proof people do not do any due diligence whatsoever.

I started to report the posts of THX1138 - since there seems to be a pattern of a ban evasion going on here. Banned members should not be able to go through other members to post responses here, which would cause THX1138 and anyone else who engages in such conduct to be attempting to evade a ban.

It's not that important (I don't care if thats how he wants it to be[he could easily get back by following the simple ass rules]), I just don't want to hear it so the ignore works for me but then when i get attributed his words in a fucked up quote I want that shit fixed.

The resizing did the trick.
