4801  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: June 03, 2021, 06:39:51 PM
You can be sure because a holding of this size is disclosable information.  TSLA is a listed company billions in size they follow fairly strict rules on open disclosure of what their actions and holdings are, its how you get all the articles on Warren Buffet doing this or that because every quarter he has an obligation to report openly large movements in publicly traded assets.   I get BTC is not a central register in that way but TSLA itself would be required to report such a large movement of cash and obviously its been used for this purpose.
Elon has got in trouble before for random tweets about his own stock, he isnt allowed to do that as it can easily move the share price.   He can post doge memes or whatever he likes as that asset is not directly under his control and that market is not regulated in USA, its still seen as some bad taste to have a large influence like that but public speech allows it I guess.
Indeed. A movement of such huge amount cannot be done without attracting the attention of everyone following stocks and related information especially that Tesla already declared how much it has in its possession.
I doubt Musk is not holding yet Doge, directly or indirectly, he just didn't announce yet how much he holds and where.
4802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 03, 2021, 05:29:49 PM
Will be interesting if Ronaldo back to La Liga than League 1.
How about Barcelona, do you think Ronaldo and Messi have a chance in one season to be in the same team? It look funny, but it's still very unlikely.
Nah I don't think CR7 will be ever in Barcelona, they are suffering enough with huge salaries and Real fans will treat him miserably after being a legend there.
He will move to PSG or ManU. Possible scenario is him moving to Juve to replace Mbappe who will move to Real Madrid imo.

What I know is that China has always been inconsistent in holding stocks so that their finances are so irregular that they are now facing difficulties in paying their previous loans.
I hope this will soon be owned by the middle east who are always financially secure so that inter will be fine and can buy better players.
Scuddeto champions now have to face loan problems, the players are victims.
We will see what will happen in Inter later. For now, Lukaku confirms that he will stay with the team. His performance in Serie A was better than EPL imo so I can understand his decision. For Hakimi, he will most likely move to PSG next season.
4804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 02, 2021, 09:59:23 PM
As I know, on May 21 Inter Milan received an injection of funds from Oaktree Capital, an Asset Management Firm from the United States of 275 million Euros.

Even though the funds provided by Oaktree Capital are classified as small, maybe it can help finance Inter Milan.

I hope that Inter Milan can have a good performance next season.

Inter gives his shares to the foundation to cover the loan.

The economist here already did the math, that money is already been used to pay the debt of the past season and they will last until November.

If they can't pay the debt Inter will sell the team.

Also if we were in another State probably Inter was disallowed for default but in Italy, the law is a joke.
Sometimes it is hard to know what is happening behind the closed gates. The Chinese aren't able to keep the team alive financially + Inter won the scudetto = this will attract bees to the honey pot no? Just sell the team! I remember we had a talk about this months ago, where 2 entities wanted to buy it, I think a middle east and us? ones..
4805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: June 02, 2021, 08:09:18 PM
Only Sheffield have had the worst run in the table and I don't know if in the second division hopefully they will get better and return to the premier league.
I am very happy because Watford is back again with it being a well-known sportsbet.io gambling sponsor on this forum so I am happy to be part of bitcoin that's all.
And I'm tofu new  to the Brentford team in the EPL, have there is been in the EPL before?
Sheffield, from fighting top teams to being the worst ever in the last seasons. A catastrophic failure. Not sure if they can get back to EPL next season with the same squad.
I think everyone here want to see BTC in EPL Wink welcome back Watford!
For Brentford, yeah it is the first time in their history to access in EPL, at least since it was created, but apparently they played before in 1947? or before in what used to be the first league? Not sure, I read about it some time ago and that's what I recall.
4806  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards on: June 02, 2021, 07:55:41 PM
Can anyone recommend a crypto debit card linked to a bank that is not just app on smartphone, but allows internet banking using a PC with Windows?

I know the latter is less secure, but I hate apps on smartphones.

Alternatively, a bank account like Fidor with easy access to Kraken (if Fidor allows internet banking). I live in Germany.
Not sure if I fully understand what you mean by "bank". There is some online services that offers plastic or virtual cards, allow sepa transfer and other options depending from the service itself and from your location. Take a look on advcash, you can use it in pc, you can register there and see if it is suitable for you or not before doing KYC.

Looks like most people here are not yet aware that Ancelotti was officially announced coach about 5 hours ago.

Quote
Real Madrid C. F. announces that Carlo Ancelotti will be the club's first-team coach for the next three seasons.

The ceremonial signing of the contract will take place tomorrow with club president Florentino Pérez at Real Madrid City, after which Ancelotti will address the media from 6pm (CET) in an online press conference.
Source: https://www.realmadrid.com/en/news/2021/06/01/official-announcement-ancelotti
Apparently you didn't pay attention to my post 7 hours before yours nor to AakZaki's post quoting mine and discussing the fact that Real Madrid has limited choices for coaching. Anyway, I hope Real Madrid will be better but essentially more stable with him, although without bringing new names it will be a hard mission..
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 01, 2021, 11:10:49 PM
there were a lot of draws, I doubt anyone has managed to get all the games right
That's why I dislike friendlies and avoid them, because simply their results are weird and unexpected most of the time + the result doesn't mean anything in real competition since weaker teams have the wrong impression that they are playing good before releasing the sad reality.
Otherwise, I think everyone managed to predict Kosovo - San Marino result but odds were closed hours, at least, before the game Roll Eyes
4809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 01, 2021, 07:42:15 PM
Today we have an interesting friend, between two teams that will be at Euro 2020:
Poland vs Russia

https://www.uefa.com/european-qualifiers/friendlies/match/2032186--poland-vs-russia/

What do you think the result will be?
Friendlies have weird results and very risky, I just avoid it since generally it is an opportunity to give more time to new and less experienced players, testing new strategies and so on. I remember seeing high odds for Armenia and Bulgaria, yet they managed to get a draw vs Croatia and Slovakia respectively!
Poland 1 - 1 Russia half time, Lewandowski didn't play yet, few opportunities..
4810  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 24-May-21] on: June 01, 2021, 07:34:22 PM
@ralle14 and Mitchell, I ask you to remove / not includ 1xbit signature campaign in the list for multiple reasons: multiple scam accusations, almost all members wearing their signature have at least 1-2 negative trusts from DT members, high risk of getting scammed... (Besides I have my doubts that the enrolled members, at least some of them, were paid to promote this scam, but this is another story).
More:
This thread belongs in the gutter, not only are the 1xbit scammers making a complete fool of themselves this thread has been a magnet for the Adkinsbet scammers sock-puppets.
I ask other members to refrain from quoting my post and starting a discussion here as requested several times by Mitchell. I couldn't hold myself from posting here to warn about the consequences of having it in the list.

Edit: OK, I respect your decision and thanks for the answer.
I will just add one thing that we can't compare yobit and 1xbit. Yobit flooded Bitcointalk with poor quality posts and as a service, they are using bad and shady promotions, yet I find the comparison between the two services irrelevant.
Listing all campaigns whether it is redirecting to a legit or a scammy service is a valid option but in this case, I think that the fight to clean our forums from them should move to meta sub then.

...
Ramos is offered a 1 + 1 contract, but he wants a two-year contract at once. In my opinion, Ramos, as the captain and legend of the club, should agree to the club's terms. Moreover, he is 35 years old and he is unlikely to find a club in which he will play on a permanent basis. At the expense of the new coach - there are rumors that negotiations are underway with Ancelotti.
He deserves a full 2 year contract but it's a business decision that the club has to make and we all expect that there are many changes to be made. They could easily grant it to Ramos if the club is in a better financial position and the team is stable or strong to compete for next season.
It isn't just a business decision nor related to finance as far as I remember from an article. Real Madrid principle is to not renew contracts of old players, > 35 years old, and to search and prepare new players to replace them so the club remains in top position while having a smooth transition from old to new players. Obviously if that old players is very important and still can do something for the club, Ramos for example, then they can renew the contract for 1 year every time. Real Madrid doesn't want to give Ramos an exception so other players will ask the same after few years.

Real Madrid unveiled the new blancos jersey. Waiting to understand who will be the new coach, ready to take over the legacy of Zinedine Zidane (among the candidates there was also Antonio Conte, freshly divorced from Inter, but in pole there is Carlo Ancelotti as per the last rumors)
Apparently Ancelotti joining Real Madrid is not just a rumor according to Marca. Today we might see an announcement about him being officially the new coach. Not sure about his contract with Everton but I assume it won't be a big deal. Real Madrid administration prefers to see an experienced and qualified manager, there isn't many available, Ancelotti or Conte, otherwise trying Gonzalez.
I prefer to see Raul working with one of them and once he is ready he can replace them. Waiting for the official news.
4813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 01, 2021, 01:31:36 PM
I agree with you about the relegation games. I prefer leagues where the last 3 teams gets automatically relegated, like EPL, La Liga and Serie A.
The team that messed it up the whole season and missed its opportunity to stay in mid-table at least has to quit and let its place to a new one.. But to be honest I find Koln way better than Kiel, yet I preferred to see a new team in 1.Bundesliga Wink

I also found Cologne much better than Holstein Kiel, but only in the last game. The relegation games (or ist it play-offs?)  were only created for the money.  Two games more means more income from broadcasting rights, ticket sales and so on.
Yeah I meant relegation play-offs games. True, having 2 more games will generate more income, yet it isn't that fair for 2.Bundesliga team which has less money, less top players, less experience, but managed to pick the 3rd place and normally gets promoted to first division in other leagues. Anyway football = money first then entertainment..
4814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans Bitcoin too on: June 01, 2021, 01:04:43 PM
Me too, didnt find details about Iran ban of btc. Speculations only maybe, cos I dont see confimation yet.
This news was reported in barely every news agency and even in international TVs and you are still talking about speculations. That country risks electricity shortage in the hot summer with the enormous rise of power consumption in this season + illegal mining activities will cut electricity from large parts of the country and this will destabilise the fragile situation there. It is normal to restrict or temporarily ban mining until September. End of the story.

Last night's relegation match between Nantes - Toulouse was won by Toulouse but even so, Nantes still have the right to advance to Ligue 1 next season on aggregate. I thought and hoped that Nantes would still win in the second leg last night, but it looks like they don't have that target and even Nantes' goal attempts and shots on goal are very low. If I look at the performance from the first and second legs, I think Toulouse deserves a chance to play in Ligue 1 but unfortunately, they are still not lucky even though Nantes are playing badly.
Totally forgot about the game, didn't pay attention about it even in bookies.. Nantes escaped from relegation with 2-2 aggregation thanks to scoring 2 goals away! That was a weak performance imo and with such bad results I wonder how they could resist in the next season.
4816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 31, 2021, 05:02:54 PM
Congratulations to Cologne for stay in the first Bundeslilga. But I also feel for Kiel. They lost the decisive game, but actually they deserved to get promoted. They have won 18 games and Cologne have lost 17 games. Kiel played an outstanding season and in the end only one game decides....I don't like the relegation games.

Aguero has joined Barcelona as a free agent, hopefully that would help solve some problems on the frontline, but the real question while ditch Suarez, if you're all going to come back to settle for Aguero ?

Either ways, I'd take Aguero over Brathwaite or Greizmann up front any day.

https://twitter.com/FCBarcelona/status/1399393268509650947
The real questions are: Could Aguero be as efficient as Suarez used to be? He will be as consistent as Messi or as fluctuant as Griezmann?
I have the feeling that Aguero will be either a top scorer or a big disappointment. He has to prove himself and works hard to be a key player in a team that has many attackers without a constant performance.

I also heard Raul Gonzalez is closer to Real Madrid he has been familiar with young Madrid players since 2018
Hope he will have a better luck than Pirlo or Gattuso...
4818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 31, 2021, 03:53:56 PM
That Spanish coach prefers Ilkay Guendogan as a defensive midfielder compared to Rodri or Fernandinho who was suspended. In fact, Guendogan is the top scorer in the Guardiola team this season with 17 goals in all competitions. Guardiola's decision made Man City's play in midfield seem unbalanced.
Ilkay Gundogan can be a big surprise from Pep and if Manchester City had won the final, every people would have talked about Pep and that decision. People would have called him as a genius.
The previous defeat vs Chelsea affected Guardiola's decisions so much and his judgement imo. He tried to play differently and confuse Tuchel but City's players were the one that got confused the most.

The best time Gundogan played successfully as a central midfielder is in Dortmund many years ago in the season with Gotze, Reus, Lewandowski. However, Pep already lost two other matches against Chelsea and Tuchel so if Gundogan was not chosen, it does not mean Manchester City will win the final, LOL. People criticized Pep too much.
I agree that people are criticising much Guardiola. Imagine Tuchel losing that game, he will be treated the same way or worst.
4819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 31, 2021, 03:42:10 PM
Three coaches who brought Chelsea to Champions League or Europa League finals lost their jobs in the next seasons. Avram Grant, Di Matteo, Sarri. Tuchel is the fourth coach who can achieve it but does it is a signal for future of Tuchel in the season 2021- 2022?

I hope he will not be sacked and will be have enough time to build up a strong Chelsea to fight against Manchester City and Liverpool in Premier League.
Chelsea improved a lot with Tuchel but I doubt it will be able to compete for the title next season with the current squad. They are good but not very consistent, they lost vs Aston Villa, Leicester (1/2), Arsenal in this month =3 defeats in 8 games in 1 month in different leagues. Such results aren't promising and won't guarantee the first place easily.
4820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 30, 2021, 10:55:41 PM
I can't wake up when see Real Madrid social media announcement about give thank for Zidane because left Real Madrid this season, I was sad although Zidane not success give any trophy in this year for Madrid I think he was great coach for Madrid so far, success give La Liga trophy and third time for champion league was very awesome coach for Madrid.
Zidane is a legend in football World and in Real Madrid as a player and a coach. This season he wasn't lucky, he found the team struggling, succeeded to make it running very close to ATM but failed to bring a trophy home. Real Madrid problem isn't the coach, it is the current players, old ones in part but especially the guys that are useless and those who dropped badly in performance and fluctuating from a game to another. BTW we might see Zidane after few years in Madrid again, you never know, fans still appreciate him Wink
