I'm kind of happy Arsenal lost the FA cup tie to Man City. I'm not a Arsenal fan but I'm desperately prating for them to win the EPL this season. The FA cup might have been a distraction and its kind of like a blessing they've been eliminated. So now they can focus on just the league and Europa league, two trophies that Arsenal will give anything to win. They suffered a lot and came really close in the 2015/16 season at a point but they still lost it to Leicester City. Arsenal should put all their focus on the league and Europa. They will do that.They have I believe as their main objective for the season to win the Premier League and that is how it should be.They are not leading by a lot of points like Napoli is doing in Italy that they have the luxury to sacrifice a game or two to follow their Champions League dream but Arsenal does not have this kind of luxury.For Europa League if they happen to win it will be good but they should have it as a second objective and their primary focus should be on the Premier League. The FA cup would have really been a distraction which if continued by Arsenal in these last stages would maybe even impacted their title fight beside the Europa league challenge. |

Thank god for the FA cup. I honestly, thought I forgot to put my predictions in once again today upon waking up. I've put them in now to make sure the same doesn't happen come Friday. A little gutting though, I was looking forward to catching up on some Premier League football, I totally forgot that it was the FA cup this weekend. That doesn't have the same sort of magic for me. If I supported some of the lower tier teams, I'm sure it would mean a whole lot more.
Well, on that note I just hope Liverpool don't put out too many of our first team against Brighton tomorrow, just so we can avoid some of the injuries that we've been plagued with.

I think FA Cup is unnecessary. Manchester City can take FA Cup. Let Arsenal be the champion. It's better for Arsenal to focus on the league completely rather than stalling with the cup and confusing them. Manchester City has the best squad depth in the league. This was very clear again. Arsenal doesn't have such a deep squad, their bench players are not so good quality. I find this result normal.

Can't wait for the season to start, it will be awesome to see how teams changed. I think that it is truly a great marketing for Ferrari when the World Champion goes and buys a Ferrari car.He could have also bought a McLaren or any other sport car and in fact if he were to be in love with the Redbull-Honda team he could have bought the new Acura NSX racing which is the flagship racing car from Honda but yet he got and bought a Ferrari bypassing the team where he is in. @Iroh what I liked from this match was Vinicius Junior response as any other player would have been probably rattled to see his effigy hanging, but he kept his composure and helped his team win. Furthermore such cowardly acts should be punished, and strong actions should be taken to prevent such activities because this is not how a player should be treated. it turned out that Vinicius jr had experienced such harassment several times and I am proud Vinicius for being calm in the face of such racist harassment, he kept smiling. I'm sure the act of hatred aimed at Vinicius will make him even more enthusiastic to be better in every match. but what I'm surprised is, racist acts or harassment of Vinicius have occurred several times but why isn't there legal action that really looks for the suspect and is immediately punished? or, is it because it is so anonymous that it is very difficult for the police to find the perpetrator. I don't think is that anonymous and hard to find for the police.Police usually have much more better tools than those persons doing the racist acts so if this have happened several times I think that there is something wrong with the people there if no legal action is taken. Others are lagging far behind, with Newsom at 11.00, Buttigieg at 16.90 and Michelle Obama at 20.90. Sanders is at 41.00. So it is fair to say that the next Democrat nominee would be either Biden or Kamala. Most likely it is them,Joe Biden or Kamela Harris but I think we are quite early in 2023 and many things can happen that can dramatically change the course of such elections.God forbid but it can be possible that Biden dies because of his old age and so Kamela Harris to go from 7.5 to 1.3 in odds so I think a good option to choose is exactly her. The Chelsea team is not in a very good position at the moment. They really need to replace some good players in their team. Because those currently playing in the team are not doing well enough. I don't think Chelsea will achieve anything this season.
The good players ddin't need to be replaced by some bad players must have replaced with new players that have better capabilities. Chelsea management knows so well about that. that's why chelsea was doing so many things like buying so many players. Chelsea didn't have a lot of plan for this season. Being able to make team gets a better performance will be so good. I meant chelsea shall wake up. Chelsea was a big club and it must not perform like a mediocre team again forever. I think it is a bit to late to try and wake up now.Sure in the Champions League it is a different thing than in Premier League because there is only a 2 encounter game that will decide which team to qualify further and any team can come up with 2 good games no matter how bad their condition may be. Diaz isn't back until March, right? Still over a month away until we get him back. Obviously, the break helps. I don't tend to watch the FA cup unless some of the underdogs or Liverpool are playing. I can't say it means all that much, even when you do win it, but it's a nice feeling to actually perform well. I'll take the break though, this year has been pretty miserable due to our performances.
Hopefully, Arsenal can beat City. That'd be nice. I wouldn't bet on it mind you, think the game could be rather cagey due to what's up for grabs. 1-1 draw anyone?
I think Arsenal most likely will pass on this game in the sense that they would not play full power against Manchester City,the last thing they need is injuries when they have all the players fit so maybe they will play with bench players to give them space to test them.I know Man.City is not a team where you can do that but I think that Arsenal should value more the Premier League and if possible also to prioritize a bit of force for the Europa League,if they don't win any of these competitions with Premier League being the most likely then we can consider Arsenal season a failed one. |

Icardi's performance was great again, Galatasaray is trying very hard to score points.
