Ricky Rubio had a double2 with 19 points and 12 assists.
Marc Gasol had 33 points from 11/19 shooting.

We can say that they carried their team to be in the Finals, this two deserve a heroes welcome when they come back home.

Sergio Llull did help with the points with 17 points, but he has a very poor shooting percentage, same with Rubio, but Rubio make some good plays, and he is not known to be a good shooter also but a good play maker, that's his role in the NBA as well.
4802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 13, 2019, 09:32:41 AM
The Detroit Piston added some shooting power into their bench. Joe Johnson signed up with the team after a successful stint at Ice Cube's Big 3 league. The guy may be old but he can still shoot well. https://www.msn.com/g00/en-us/sports/nba/joe-johnson-signs-with-pistons-after-mvp-stint-in-big3/

Good addition don't you think?

Yeah, he is a good addition to Detroit. His experience is what Detroit needs. He is also a physical player who is not afraid for a physical game that fits the tradition of Detroit.
The traditional kind of game where these bad boys were known for.  Though those old days are gone and the type of basketball is no longer physical, but his addition to this team will bring a good impact. He's a defensive and offensive threat, and his experience with this league is a  plus factor. It just needs to be incorporate with his new teammates and the coaching staff to maximize his capabilities.
I would not expect too much for him as he left the NBA with a bad statistics, now he is back, he should prove it again that he can still play physical despite his current age now. He is a BIG 3 MVP and I'm not so aware of this league as I don't think it's popular but compared to the NBA, he won't be getting any MVP award as the award now are dominated by the young ones.

I was reading this link

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2019/09/12/big-3-mvp-joe-johnson-signs-one-year-deal-detroit-pistons/2301950001/
Did it mentioned how much he will get for 1 year contract?
4803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why transactions take so much time? on: September 12, 2019, 11:34:04 PM
Hello! To be honest, I'm so tired of waiting for transactions. I use changelly and I have to wait for my transaction for 5-30 minutes and that's exhausting. Do you know exchanges with faster transactions?
Not familiar to that(changelly) but for that long, it is just fair to me. Withdrawal and deposit it takes a while to process and it needs blockchain confirmations, and it also varies depending on fees and network traffic that it sometimes we need minutes or hours to have the final confirmation. I don't see instant transfers in here as it needs confirmation but if it happens all the times, there might have a problem with that site.
4804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: September 12, 2019, 11:20:11 PM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?
It makes me smile and sounds ridiculous but that is the reality. It is really hard to think that we have millions of tokens but it is not tradable yet or nobody is buying with this shit coins. How it makes sense? Nothing but worst experience...but not just we end up our crypto life because of that, we have to move on.

I have learned things like that before and I still have those dead coins in my wallet but it is accepted that it might be happening and I just consider those coins(shit) as a souvenir/collections...lol
4805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Replace Gold! Here's Why... on: September 12, 2019, 10:59:51 PM
I don't think Bitcoin will replace Gold as a store of value but rather I would like to think of it as an alternative to Gold since we cannot

deny that Gold is fundamentally different with Bitcoin and both has unique properties that seems attractive to its supporters. If they

could only harmoniously go along side by side, then it could be much better. Imho.
Gold symbolizes wealth as people have to keep it. Price is stable which is not really profitable compared to what Bitcoin can do but if we look its market assurance and to know who could still stand for long, it absolutely is gold.
However, we have to take the opportunity that Bitcoin it has. The profitability of bitcoin looks to be attractive that people first consider this than of gold which we think that gold becomes obsolete and left behind but I don't see this is a reason to replace gold cause it will be impossible to happen.
4806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 12, 2019, 06:51:01 AM
If we will just open our mind and be realistic, we will know from the very beginning that we will never win in the long run, unless we are exceptional like those gambler who make a living in gambling. When we play, that means we are having fun, but if we loss, we need to accept as its part of the game where we loss or win. It's not everyday that we loss so that's alright as sometimes when we gamble we also end up winning, but like I said, in the long run we will never win but if we appreciate our winning moments, we will certainly enjoy gambling even if we will have to lose money in the long run.
4807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: September 12, 2019, 06:35:53 AM
Good news for Americans wanting to trade with binance

Crypto Exchange Binance.US to Launch ‘in the Coming Weeks’

https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-exchange-binanceus-to-launch-in-the-coming-weeks

Major cryptocurrency exchange Binance’s United States-based branch Binance.US will launch in the coming weeks, preceded by Know Your Customer (KYC) registration a few days earlier.

No BNB for US citizens:

@BinanceAmerica will open account registration & begin accepting deposits of BTC, ETH, XRP, BCH, LTC & USDT on Sept 18th, 2019, at 8am ET.

https://twitter.com/BinanceAmerica/status/1171853554971054080

Very limited number of coins only, you are right, why there's no BNB when it's the product of the exchange?
Would this mean that the old Binance set up is better the Binance US because with the old set up, traders has a lot of choices to trade in the altcoins marekt.

This looks like coinbase with limited coins listed only, I think we will be seeing the same pattern.
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 12, 2019, 06:11:04 AM
Still can believe that both Serbia and USA lost the matches and that they will not play semis. Expected this to be semis but in the end they will play from 5-8 place. Really both team didn't play as they play, Serbia lost something that had but USA team play to confident that they will win more like they were on practice game then on the WC game.

After this expect to see Argentina and Spain in finals.

I like that there are also a lot of fans for Argentina here, Argentina and France are the underrated in this tournament, but they have proven they can beat the favorite teams to win in this competition and one of them deserves to be in the Finals.

Regardless of which team, all I can say is that they are both good teams, so they can give a good fight against Spain.
Australia is also good with but IMO Spain will beat them, and we will see a battle of bigs between Gasol and Gobert in case France will advance.
4809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: September 11, 2019, 10:04:42 PM
There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

Is the world out of ideas or solutions?

There are a lot of problems that could still need the blockchain intervention but the issue is that most project nowadays are repetition of already existing projects or already solved problems that barely needs to based on blockchain to begin with.
They exist in the market shortly cause they don't have an effective market strategy nor to have a long-term plan for this. They actually underestimate the market design and they feel guaranteed of what they do.

Have many questionswhy most projects that are listed at Binance exchange become successful. That is because they help each other and they keep helping until the end. That is the first thing they do which the others don't have.
4810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 11, 2019, 09:45:18 PM
do your research and be careful what you do. Don't lose hope in fact there's are still other good project despite of the situation of market so keep searching. And i suggest separate your investment  in to two which dont pyt you egg in one basket so that you can multiply your money easily.  Put more effort because that's the only way to become successful trader on this kind pf business .take all the risk especially if you really have a trust on your skill and you know what will happen in a long run  control your emotions bro.  Always remember that.  Regards..
Not just we keep on searching cause its numbers it only eating up our time.
To become a successful trader is just like having a long term commitment knowing the fact that we can't simply become successful for a day but it takes years to prove that we are a champion. If we don't have that long-term commitment, we are just simply missing it to achieve what we are aiming for.

It is not just we say and keep saying to become a successful trader without doing anything cause it is only made impossible to happen.
4811  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 11, 2019, 09:26:57 PM
There is no crystal ball here and definitely we can't see it inside the crystal ball. We are in the volatility and we will just be totally speculating prices every day. If someone could see and tell the exact price that runs every day, it really gains respect and praise but nothing and not that because of Bitcoin price keeps moving and moving we're everyone just only guessing.
4812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and IEO running at same time for same project on: September 11, 2019, 08:22:22 AM
IEO and ICO are running on the same transition to collect funds from investors, but not so for IEO, IEO has now attracted the attention of investors. Investor confidence has been lost in the ICO they switched to IEO which is more profitable now. Short-term returns are a good investment in IEO.
We can't generalize that statement, IEO maybe more successful that ICO because it's the current trend now, but not all exchanges that offers IEO are successful. TBH, there are only few exchange I know that are successful with their IEO and one good example is Binance, people are waiting for a project to be in Binance launch pad so they can invest because based on trend, investors can make short term return of their money with a good profit.
4813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: September 11, 2019, 07:40:49 AM
It is true bitcoin has crushed the altcoins. But there are some of the altcoins those are  in green in the market and it will take time for the bitcoin to crush them.
Altcoin is indeed correct as you said that the price dropped because it was influenced by bitcoin. but not all altcoin is affected and can still be good and they are also quite strong from the bitcoin movement. I hope that at the end of the year all altcoins can grow and produce the best.
Maybe you are just talking of less than 1% of the total altcoins in the market that are not affected, based on my observation, majority of the altcoins have dropped and ETH is a good example and it's the king of altcoins based on its ranking, but until now it still struggles to make a rally and come back to its good price, and if ETH as the king of altcoins struggle, it's expected a not so popular altcoins will also have the same struggle.
4814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins bleeding on: September 11, 2019, 07:09:47 AM
Bad altcoins will goes to zero, they will become worthless if they can't keep up with the competition.
When BTC dominance is increasing, this is the best time to test if the project can still fight for its value, but some of the projects are already worthless now and given the fact that majority of the altcoins are scam, it's already expected.

Let's consider the current market scenario as a blessing in disguise because without some correction that early, it might become a big bubble and it will be hard for bitcoin and other legit altcoins to recover again.
4815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 11, 2019, 06:50:30 AM
Durant on ESPN.

"
Quote
Some days I hate the circus of the NBA," Durant told the WSJ. "Some days I hate that the players let the NBA business, the fame that comes with the business, alter their minds about the game. Sometimes I don't like being around the executives and politics that come with it. I hate that.

Looks like he now saw the ugly side of NBA which is the truth.
Also, this aint just NBA fault but the media.
They keep on analyzing players and sometimes they go way under the belt.
They make rumors like they are truth and people believe it.
That is the problem for entertainers like him. He is a star so he became the apple of the eye.

Oklahoma fans seems to not get over to what he did. Westbrook did.
Now, Westbrook is in Houston. Will they also get mad with him?

NBA has control of the media, this is just how the business is run, player can't expect that they can do all they want.
When it comes to business, there are some corruption and players needs to live up based on the expectation of the people, Durant is a star, he cannot live an ordinary life, he needs to satisfy the demand of his job because that is what he is paid for.

Speaking of media, they are main reason of the success of NBA, without them the NBA will not gain global popularity, so let them do their job and as a player be professional, otherwise get out in the NBA as there are a lot of players hoping to be in the position of where you are now.
4816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 10, 2019, 11:59:50 PM
Gambling won't be dirty if you've played it fairly without doing any cheating, it can only definitely be dirty once you're taking beyond it's advantages. Most gamblers in the real world of physical money, had a mindset that gamblers who initiate huge wins was seriously taking hidden strategies that eventually losses their opponent.

Isn't about the way you gamble that money, is about the source of the money used for gambling. Some people use casinos as a way of money laundering, because if you have a big bankroll from a scam or from theft, then you can join to a casino a chase big multipliers with low chance to get them, and each time you hit one of those 'Jackpots' then the money gets justified.

That's not dirty anymore since you were able to launder it successfully, that's life, we have different ways to making money, whether illegal or not but it's the government job to get their people and punish. In general, I don't see gambling money a dirty money, like every business or services, there are legal and illegal, so this one, illegal money are dirty money but I don't really care as even the government are corrupt, they also get a lot of dirty money for their personal interest.
4817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Will be much better on: September 10, 2019, 11:45:33 PM
Your arguments were contradicting to each other. Saying late and dying. There are altcoins that are verified to be dead and no chance of being revived but as for the new investors, it's never too late for them. We used to think the same few years ago that we're already late but it isn't.
Move forward to the present and look forward to the future. It's never too late for anybody, it's just about on how they will decide and when they will start acting of buying not just with talks.
"More actions fewer talks", that supposedly it will be.
Crypto continues its journey, not only Bitcoin will becoming great soon but also altcoins. It is sad to think that not all crypto coins are on the way to survive but some of them die along the way. This is might be a feature of crypto existence, some grow up while some also disappear.

Looking forward to the betterment of crypto future, it also we need to recall what it did before and we don't want that those old days will dissolve as we focus on the incoming.
4818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitfinex still be trusted? on: September 10, 2019, 11:21:38 PM
hehee....this is crypto we're in buddy. You can't trust any of the companies with 100% assurance. You always have to give everything a shot but with carefulness. We all witnessed great crypto and blockchain companies closing down somewhere last year. Bitfinex has history of bad things happening but they're aren't alone. Binance also got hacked once and got info leaked. It all depends on how project managers deal with the aftermath other than exit scamming. So I think for now, Bitfinex is somehow not bad even tho ut can't be perfect.
It absolutely we can't escape from hacking incidents but not to the extends that it often to happen cause that it means that they don't care about their security and also the security of their investors. The troubles that it happens to Binance is not the same as what it happens to Bitfinex. And considering the numbers of the issue with Bitfinex, it makes traders give some doubts.

It needs Bitfinex to solve it otherwise, traders will leave this exchange pretty soon.
4819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: September 09, 2019, 11:26:50 PM
The main question is if banks only mode to earn money is to handle payments from their clients? Because the last time I check it's not even their main mode to earn money from you. Banks are not like wallets where its only purpose is to send and receive money the biggest chunk of their income are coming from lending money out froms people and businesses which Bitcoin doesn't have. Lets stop thinking that BTC is here in order to kill the banking sustem because from what I see banks are already acvepting the change, some even have their own versions of blockchain already.
That is to be clear that Bitcoin/cryptocurrency is not against banks nor the banks banned crypto at all. It is all about technology adoption and it is time to see what it makes us easier and to change our lifestyle. I understand how banks look after bitcoin but there is something that stops them and that is market assurance. And if it is only the same with gold that the price is always going up, there are no doubts to accept instantly but it came into high volatility risk which is really hard for them.
4820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever invested in an ICO? on: September 09, 2019, 11:03:56 PM
The last time i invested in an ICO was with ATLANT and UTRUST.

ICO price :
ATL = 0.65 UTK = 0.065

ATLANT goes live on HITBTC and sold my tokens @ 3.14 USD each
UTK with KUCOIN exchange sold my tokens @ 1.6 USD each...

A good profit but that was November 2017.
I can't forget that year cause it is totally amazing, hypes are good and gives more profit to the investors. A lot of tokens sold at a high price but how it looks today, they've gone and the price was it almost at zero value. It has something to think that hypes is over and whales are not greatly participating by now. Mostly ICO today fails and investors suffer losses.

The question is, could this ICO/IEO projects could sustain for the next couple of years or they just dried up?
