4801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice on deleting a wallet... on: March 21, 2017, 08:39:23 PM
In blockchain.info, the wallets can be put on a archive especially the not used address. You can unarchive that wallet anytime to check it. But I didn't  see a delete wallet address there.

Hmm, I think seeing these kind of setup in your wallet will make someone greedy, making a plan or a trick to hack it, it is possible right?

No, seeing a public address does not allow someone to hack it. The reason is you have to know the associated private key. If you don't have it then to hack it you need to guess what it is. This is the fun part. The chances of someone guessing the correct private key are very small. How small? Let's just say smaller than a guy winning his state lottery a million times in a row.

Yeah, I also thought that, I am watching a video about these, he said that hacking the private key of one's wallet is very impossible, though it can be. I think you need a super high luck to do these kind of hacking. He also said that the number of possibilities is like the number of the atoms on the sun, damb that is really many,
4803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About transaction fees. on: March 21, 2017, 12:12:03 PM
As far as I know, every sites has their own transaction fees and these days it is getting larger and larger making it a pain for users. The higher the fee, the faster the transaction will be.
4804  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Almost gave me a heart attack on: March 21, 2017, 12:01:26 PM
You are importing their public address, thus as you said it is watch only.

The only way you would be able to influence the coins on that address would be to import their private key.

In short, you cannot affect other users by importing a public address in watch only mode.
Hmm, I think seeing these kind of setup in your wallet will make someone greedy, making a plan or a trick to hack it, it is possible right?
4805  Economy / Web Wallets / Almost gave me a heart attack on: March 21, 2017, 10:49:40 AM
I was just wandering in my blockchain.info wallet because I am bored and seen this import wallet address, I then clicked it and it is asking me for a wallet address, I look some address at the transaction section, look for an address with the most transacted bitcoin and copied it, and there happened to give me a slight shock. I was really stunned seeing that amount on my wallet though I did see it is a watch only ( though I am hoping it to be truly mine)
So I have a question, can this import address affect users or other people that transact or save bitcoin in their wallets? I mean can it be taken from them using that way?
4806  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Basic concepts for beginners on: March 21, 2017, 10:40:53 AM
I've been getting a lot of questions on my channel lately regarding the basics of sending/receiving from various wallets, websites, etc. I made this video for people in the beginning stages of understanding bitcoin. It may not be super exciting for everyone here, but if you know anyone just getting started, I think they'll find this useful. Feel free to give it a share.

Read a book or two about Bitcoin. Just reading articles, participating in this forum and watching youtube is not enough to understand Bitcoin, since it's mostly opinions or opinion flavored things you will see. Also it'll never be as systematic and complete as a solid book.

Thanks. I started reading articles and news about Bitcoin so that I can interact more and answers questions confidently in the Bitcoin community.

I also did that, the truth is I was pissed with the people that have higher ranks because when theybare asked about a certain topic they will say to read in this topic because they give it all, how did that help us beginners? Not all articles are that straight forward answers that us readers can understand it thats why we are asking the idea of the people here, and theyre answer will be read articles here in the forum. Wow, Just remove the Help in the title Beginners  and Help, just put Beginners there.
If you want to learn something, it can and is expected that you put some effort into it. So did everyone before you who has knowledge in a certain field.
Usually more advanced member will gladly help you and answer your questions, but beginners tend to ask always the same basic questions. This is because there understanding is not good enough to ask more advanced questions. So pretty much every beginners question was answered here already many times. If someone tells you to read something somewhere ti is usually because your question is answered there and better answered than the person telling you to read it could do this.
I gave the advice to read a book, because Bitcoin is a big and complex topic. A book covers 1000s of question and in an order that makes sens. It would be much harder, more time intensive and i doubt that you would cover it all, if you would ask every single question on this forum and someone would answer. Would you rather read a list with the numbers 1 to 1000 on a paper sheet and be done or would you prefer to ask people for random numbers between 1 and 1000 on this forum and hope you will eventually cover it all?

That makes sense, though not all of them really answered the same question but making their post count reach the maximum post of the signature campaign. And the truth is I am really putting effort to gain knowledge about bitcoin so I can use it and giving it to the newbies that may ask it. But, as a lone ranger, I cant hunt good or understandable articles because the more I find, the more it gets complicated because of the informations that is available making me anxious and really pissed and puzzled.
I think it is really a good idea htitting the books than the internet. But I still need the internet for some terms that I may encounter reading them. I hope high rank people are like you that give this kind of information, unlike some spammers just doing it to earn some. Thank you.

4809  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust Issues on: March 21, 2017, 10:10:49 AM
So I do most of my activity behind TOR.
When I signed up here, I had to pay a fee as I signed up behind TOR as no doubt some numpties scammed some people or something. I had no problem paying the fees as they were tiny.
Now I find that I can't post a lot of the time as people are posting from the same IP as me which means I have to wait like 5 minutes... However 'this lessens with more trust'.
So I don't want to move away from TOR - yes I know there are some VPNs out there which have no logs policy, and my actual set up is TOR over no logs VPN.
How do I get more of this trust? It's getting annoying trying to post, not being able to and having to try and wait it out or reload TOR.
As I go to post this thread, I wonder how many times I will need to reload TOR before I can post.
You have trust issues in the first place. I mean why to use tor for posting on public forum? I mean its not guns & murder forum, its a bitcoin forum man Cheesy.
So you have more problems than flood limits on this forum, TOR is known from slow loading page speeds depends on nodes you get in your path.

Yeah, if you want to be anonymous here in the forum, you can just avoid linking any important infos in your account, because people here do really not care about you, unless you got many bitcoins in your wallet.

4811  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IPv4-search on blockchain.info what does that mean ? on: March 21, 2017, 09:54:50 AM
The blockchain does not store IP addresses. The service blockchain.info however does. They operate a node, and other nodes connect to their node. When a transaction or block is sent to them, they record the IP address of the node that relayed the block or transaction. This IP address is almost definitely not the IP address of the node which created the transaction.

The IP address search feature allows you to lookup what transactions or blocks an IP address relayed to blockchain.info.

Well said Sir, Thank you.

4820  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people become vegan? on: March 20, 2017, 12:46:16 AM
I was a vegan for little over a year and during that time I've noticed I was less fatigued throughout the day and I slept like a new born baby.

It's not normal to sleep as long as a newborn baby.  Seems like you were fatigued.  Maybe you weren't getting enough nutrition?

Edit: found a chart and marked it up for you compliments of the National Sleep Foundation (wasn't sure exactly what category to put you in but the young adult and the adult require essentially the same amount of sleep - much less than a newborn)

Damn, seeing these image really made me realize I am not sleeping well and alright.
And he said he is less fatigued but still sleep like a newborn baby, I think he is a heavy sleeper.

I need sleep because of these picture. By the way, i am not really vegetable lover, I dont want any vegetables unless it is in my burger.
