4801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB is at it's peak price? on: April 14, 2021, 09:56:47 AM
Wanna know that should i hold my investment or do day by day trading. And now its at 500$/BNB. Convert them or keep them and wait for pump?

If you are looking for short-term profit then it's good to sell now. It already losed its steam yesterday when it hits running from $550 all the way up to $640 and I think that will be the ATH for now together with its upcoming quarterly burn. But if you see it as your long term investment, bnb has still a lot to grow. I've noticed that everytime an upcoming token burn is near, its price is pumping hard in a week. The coin also has a lot of utilities in their BSC which makes it really good to hold.
4802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 14, 2021, 04:28:09 AM
I only gamble if I have some spare amount of money. And usually, if I gamble it depends on my bankroll how long I will play. It's either I run out of capital to bet or I managed to double it then I quit that time. I only gamble online and usually play dice games. My friends do gamble but their type of games needs higher bankroll which I cannot afford. They are addicted to online cockfighting which is very popular here now in our country. They got hooked by the fact that it can double your money if you win just by sitting and watching the roosters fight, they don't realize the risk yet because they haven't lost a big amount yet.

4804  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How come some KYC exchanges ask for more info than others? on: April 13, 2021, 04:50:27 AM
Why do some go above and beyond what is even actually required?

Also, which ones ask for the least amount of KYC?

Can you name what exchanges are those? As far as I know, the only and normal way of requirements that we should submit on KYC is an ID that they want and a live selfie where you follow what the app asks like looking up or down. If it goes beyond that I would hesitate to complete the KYC on that exchange. There is this exchange where its KYC verification is very hassle. Except for the ID and selfie, they also want a picture of you holding the ID you submitted and a piece of paper that shows the name of their exchange and the current date. I did not complete it even if I have some bitcoin stuck there which amounts to $1000 now. Based on the experience of some users that attempted to complete it, submitting those doesn't guarantee you to be verified. They would ask for more documents which seem very suspicious.
4805  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: April 13, 2021, 03:47:01 AM
Investing is not only for the rich but it is also for people who want to be financially prepared in their future. Older generations tend to think that they can't invest if the amount left on their salaries is only small, but when it comes to buying luxurious things that the value would definitely depreciate in 1-2yrs they don't bother spending for that.

Some young or millenial generations now are open-minded and they want to become financially literate at a young age. As for me in that generation, it's not a problem for me if I can only invest a small amount. As long as I do it consistently, that amount would become big in long term. This is the problem for some young generations, if they found out that the profit is small, they hesitate to invest because their goal is to get rich quickly.
4806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most expensive account ever bought on: April 13, 2021, 03:11:00 AM
You will just hurt yourself if you look into the past when you purchased some goods or services using bitcoin. I had a friend before who is good at arts stuff. I needed a project to submit but I don't have the cash to pay. Since he knows bitcoin also I asked him if he wants to be paid in bitcoin because converting bitcoin in our country at that time is difficult. He agreed to be paid 0.01btc which is only 100$ that time, now the current value of it is more than $600. I don't know if he still didn't spend it but during those times, spending bitcoin is really unavoidable because that is our only source of income.
4807  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Other Bitcoin wallet that converts Bitcoin to PHP? on: April 13, 2021, 02:07:32 AM
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the most popular game in gambling field ? on: April 13, 2021, 01:30:41 AM
I need a simple help to collect some data from you guys. I hope you guys will try to help me atleast a little bit according to you gambling experiences. I need some data about how many games are most played in gambling field? Or which is most popular game?
Thanks in advance Smiley

For sports betting, basketball is the most popular for me especially if the NBA season is ongoing.  Many people around the world are looking forward to when this event is ongoing and each of them has a favorite team that they want to become the champion.

For online gambling (if this is also considered), I would choose dice games to be popular. Every gambling platform has that game, the mechanics of it is really simple and if lucky can give you some big amount of profit.
4809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who else wakes up every day asking if this is the day I'm taking some profits on: April 12, 2021, 12:29:06 PM
I think it is very interesting to sell about 1-10% when you reach 1000-10000% profits.

This amount of gain does not happen that often and it only does on very low cap altcoins which is very difficult to know what could increase that much in the future. If I would experience that kind of gain I would probably sell all that coin at 1000% gain. That coin with that kind of gain will surely have a pullback and you don't know how deep it will be, if that happens you will just regret it because you did not take the opportunity to sell it when it was at peak price.
4810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 12, 2021, 03:11:24 AM
I'm amazed at your determination not to give up in life. There is still hope, unlike me who is physically disabled, you have a normal body so you can still have a job again and start a new beginning. Just learn from this lesson and guide someone that you think that is going to what you have experienced.

Chasing losses is really not good, you get more greedy to recover it everytime you lose more. This is a reminder for everyone to not let their emotion get over them when they gamble. If they lose, just quit the casino or get away whatever that gambling platform it is.
4811  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Have lots of fun this weekend 🥳 on: April 12, 2021, 01:25:06 AM
So far the app is working great, been testing it for few days using free credits. The games have fun mode allowing new players to test the game using free credits so they can choose what to play in an actual game. The app has a variety of games to play with like poker, baccarat, blackjack, bingo etc. There are also live games offered on the app so this is like an all-in-one app for gamblers. Though there are still connectivity issues but it is still in beta so I'm sure this will be fixed when the app is officially released. Once this goes live on playstore, I'll recommend this to my friends that I know who gamble often.
Nice thing that they created an app for their casino. Are those free credits are withdrawable or they're just for testing the app? Where did you guys downloaded the app, or are you their beta testers for it? I'll be getting it asap if I can download it now. If not, perhaps I have to wait for it to go live at playstore.

Oh you misunderstood what I meant. What I was saying was I am enjoying the games via fun mode where you can bet freely. The app has 20 free credits for beta testers but I'm having an issue when I try to claim it, the app immediately force closes in my device. Is anyone able to solve this issue?

They did beta test signup here a few weeks ago for those who want to try the app. I don't know if you can still fill up for that now.
4812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 11, 2021, 11:28:17 AM
I think there is one and that is hodling your bitcoin for long term and continuously buying bitcoin and accumulating more. I think that is a safe strategy in my opinion.
you have point there mate. The question now is if OP can handle such way? .. Because seems he still lack of knowledge. Probably for now the best thing to suggest first in my own opinion, is by reading some books about trading,  wherein in order for him obtain specific information and strategies .. Btw here's the thread OP if you're interested (Trading book I have read so far) this was posted by death69 with Free links of books.  So don't hesitate to read that books if you have free time because it can really help you.

OP wants to atleast trade for twice a week so hodling it for long term is not counted though it is considered a safe strategy. For me there is really no safe strategy when it comes to trading, you don't really know what can happen on the crypto market. A coin that is good to buy at its current price doesn't guarantee you that it would pump or give you profit it in a week. Sometimes they consolidate for many days that if you lose patience you will sell it at loss. I suggest that dividing your capital into multiple cryptocurrencies, so the chance for you to gain profit in a week will be high.

4814  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's not the end, $60k again on: April 11, 2021, 10:07:36 AM
As most people said in April, bitcoin will show a new ATH and it looks like bitcoin increase is also bringing altcoins up from their previous price.
It looks like bitcoin price will continue to increase gradually towards the new ATH for the next ATH, and there is a lot of good news that could influence bitcoin to continue to increase, and I am very optimistic that the $ 100K price will happen in the next few months and even exceed that price.

I am also hoping the new ATH will be like this. Bitcoin dominance would stabilize below 56 while the price slowly going up so altcoins can keep up their pace too. This would benefit everyone even if you are a bitcoin maximalist or alts. $100k is really possible but the question is how big will the correction be like before it reaches that price? If $70k is the next target for the ATH, would it have a correction like 30% or maybe even more when ghost month happens.
4815  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Elon musk 5000 BTC give away scam ad on: April 11, 2021, 02:08:21 AM
I don't know what type of people still fall for this scam. It is obviously fake, how can anyone double the amount of their bitcoin. This is not even possible if bitcoin was cheap like 2019. I'd rather waste the 0.3 btc on gambling or buy some lowcap altcoin rather than believing in them.  Reporting the ads can help but they just keep making a new one. Youtube should take down these ads or this could be a bad impact for bitcoin in long term if many people will still believe in this.
4816  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Experience with USD, Euro, Yuan, Yen on: April 08, 2021, 09:41:13 AM

Bitfinex offers USD, Euro, Yuan, Yen. Nakapag-cashout nko via international wire transfer, pero yung bank dito sa pinas asking more and more questions if san galing ang money, pano ako nagka btc and etc. Planning to set-up an account sa other bank and planning naetry yung other international currency. Meron po ba kayo ma-suggest  na banks na hindi masyadong hassle itransact.  Nakapagtry nadin ba kayo magcashout using international currency maliban sa USD?

Union Bank is working OK for me sa ngayon pero need lang back-up na bank just incase gipitin nila ako. I tried business  account at security bank pero wala.

4817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read whale alerts? on: April 08, 2021, 08:56:05 AM
I don't really rely on these signals on twitter or telegram. It is just scaring you to panic sell your holdings. If you have proper risk management, you won't be afraid of this. Don't go all in buying a particular crypto, leave some stablecoins so you can do dollar-cost-averaging when the price dumps. Those whale alerts won't help you to gain profit in trading. Learning technical and fundamental analysis is still better to learn if you want to be good at trading.
4818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2021 $100000 in Dec? on: April 08, 2021, 07:58:18 AM
I already learned a lesson from 2017's ATH. Many said that it would reach $50k by 2018 but that never happen but instead a bear season happen for a couple of years that made bitcoin to drop more than 80% of its price from its ATH. I will just enjoy the bullish trend now and see how far can bitcoin go this year. But considering that many big institutions adopt blockchain technology now, I think it is likely to hit that price before the year ends.
I just hope that once it hits that price, no big sell-off will happen.
4819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: April 08, 2021, 07:02:38 AM
BNB is a good investment for me and a must-have in a crypto portfolio. They do quarterly burns reason for the price to increase. By having bnb, you can have less fee using it on their exchange. It can also be used to participate on their launchpads and some BSC projects which gives a good profit. Right now, I prefer it because transferring cryptos under bep20 network has very low fees rather than using ethereum network which has a fee of more than 100$.
4820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoins as a gift? on: April 08, 2021, 06:28:26 AM

I have been thinking...
Would it be totally crazy, if I gave 10-15 bitcoins to a woman, who helped me in a really really big way when I was younger.

I mean, would she think I was crazy if I do it?
Would it be a positive thing? Or just weird?

The coins were not worth much when I got them, so from that perspective, it's not THAT big a deal, right?

I would gladly give them to her, but I fear it could have a negative effect to what little friendship we have

And she is married with kids, so while I will always like her, there is no hidden agenda on my part here.

For her to be not shocked, tell her that you bought it at a very low price that you don't mind giving it to her. As you said, she helped you a lot when you were young so tell it that you feel indebted because of that. I think you two are close or know each other for a long time so I don't think she will give it a deep meaning. If you still hesitating to give it that you think will affect your friendship, give it anonymously to her and see her reaction. If she feels scared that it is from a criminal then admit that it was you then tell her the reason.
