4801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: November 12, 2021, 05:51:23 PM
for Binance this is an easy target which is very much within reach in the nearest possible time as we are already passed the 60% or 600 dollars, and depending on what regulations and new developments happen now could make most crypto assets bullish or bearish and from as much as i have seen coming from the internet its all looking rosy. Btw Binance coin has token burns as its secret weapon, which means value addition is not going to be a problem.
4802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: November 12, 2021, 04:18:02 PM
Elon Musk is not much of a secretive guy, if he had something to do with shiba inu ,we certainly would have heard it right from the horses mouth and since he has "not" tweeted nor said anything i don't think his the boss behind SHIB. As far as meme coins go i think the success of this project is people failed to acquire some dogecoin which Elon has shilled for a long time and out of nowhere people had the fear of missing out of holding a coin and turned out Shib was a popular choice for most.
4803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 12, 2021, 04:05:04 PM
I also admit that Xavi does not have enough experience to coach a big team like Barcelona. But Koeman was much more experienced. He has led the team to further decline. Xavi at least don't take Barcelona further down. He may not be experienced enough, but I believe he can blend in with the players very quickly. Able to develop young players more experienced. A coach like Xavi was needed to boost the morale of the young players.
Experience is important but the way you treat players is another thing that could make Xavi more successful than Koeman.
Koeman pushed some players out of Barca, made others feel neglected and with Messi leaving and injuries it became a sad story for the team. Now Xavi can bring back the necessary confidence for the team and with the actual talented players, they should start winning more frequently.. Hopefully..
I think the issue of experience plays a big role in terms of carrying your job as a professional but clubs like Barcelona actually need more than this. Koeman might be the guy with the experience & the professional but he lacks the connection with the club to inspire players to give more than 100%. With whats happening at Barca they team needed someone that has lived the barca way and it so happens Xavi is the man of the moment, its now up to the players to yield results for the team .

4804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 12, 2021, 12:01:27 PM
The competition for advancing to the World Cup is still going on very closely in the Group G:

Turkey are chasing Norway and Norway are trying to run away from them. They both won their last two games. And in four days, Turkey are going to play a home game against Gibraltar. And Norway are going to play a home game against Latvia. Turkey have a really easy task to do. Gibraltar are one of the most terrible teams of this tournament. They are not much different than San Marino. So Turkey should be able to demolish them. And when it comes to Norway, Haaland is still injured but Sorloth seems to be back. Latvia are another weak team in the group and I don't expect Norway to make a mistake here.
Anybody looking at the log should have expected Turkey to be second but football being a game which is unpredictable  at times, I guess they found themselves chasing for second sport as Netherlands might have created some breathing room for themselves but I still think Turkey can still catch up as all it will take is Norway dropping all three points and them winning their game. But with the finish line in their sight, this will be good race to Qualification.

In other games, I'm really surprised that Sweden's losing away to Georgia. If they don't win, that will be a big boost for Spain before their game tonight.

That's so far the upset of the day, I never saw that coming.
I had to look at the Swedish team again after the match ended to just make sure that the A team was fielded, and i can report back to say there big names did play , even their most decorated player Ibrahimović did play but boy was Georgia playing some good football...the last 10 minutes i actually thought a third was coming for them.

Spain are barely able to take full advantage of Sweden losing too, they're only up by a goal against Greece, but if they're secure the win (10 mins plus added time left), that would put Sweden in a really bad spot, as they will have to win the last game against Spain to regain top spot.
After seeing how the results came in, its safe to say the moment we stopped playing football as an entertainment medium and tuned it into a business...is the very time the game lost its originality and honesty, the game of football isn't being played with a passion anymore which is why am convinced match fixing still exists.
4806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SCAMMERS NEVER GET TIRED on: November 11, 2021, 11:48:34 PM
these guys are always trying to get ahead of themselves by trying to bag themselves free cryptocurrencies which they hadnt worked for, and the fact that they know many fall for these airdrops, click baits and all that surrounds free coins many fall into this trap, but with continued dissemination of such information...everyone gets to be aware of such cheap scams and cyber crimes will be slowing down sooner or later.
4807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 11, 2021, 06:35:45 PM
Just watching some of the games being played right now, if Sweden doesn't over turn the  current result against Georgia am done betting for the day, btw these guys were tipped to be favorites for crying out loud but the results they are bringing forward are the total opposite of what the bookies weighted them for  Lips sealed so disappointed with that am seeing.

Otherwise North Macedonia is winning as expected, so is Russia and Luxemburg and a couple of matches starting later on.
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 11, 2021, 06:30:10 PM
I can feel Mino Raiola's handwriting

This can be also only clickbaiting.

Raiola already said the past year "Paul will leave Manchester".

I think there is no chance he will stay with Red Devils.
oh year i remember you posted something about this Paul Manchester dilemma some couple of weeks over Pogba not extending his contract but whats currently in public domain is contradicting to what we are expecting from their contract negotiations. And with several teams expressing interest in this lad, I wouldn't be surprised if he finds himself playing for Newcastle because its money he wants, and Newcastle might give it to him Tongue

https://metro.co.uk/2021/11/10/paul-pogba-makes-cristiano-ronaldo-demand-in-contract-talks-with-man-utd-15576786/

According to L'Equipe, Paul Pogba is leaning towards signing a new deal with Manchester United and extending his contract. But it is claimed that he wants a salary that is worth more than Ronaldo's.
He knows this is not going to happen and the fact that he brought in Ronaldo's salary on to the negotiating table am afraid if this is his condition, then Paul Pogba and Manchester United could be parting ways. What makes him think his at that level...how many times has CR7 saved the devils and how many times has Pogba saved Man United.....this is not even a debatable topic! Pogba thanks for your services, all the best in your future endeavors .

Lionel Messi already linked with move back to Barcelona after flop start to PSG career

Six-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi has been linked with a move back to Barcelona having only quit the La Liga giants for Paris Saint Germain three months ago.

Due to the Catalan club's depleting finances, their star man was unable to be registered in time for the new season and headed for pastures new in Paris.

Messi has already stated his desire to return to Barcelona once his contract with PSG expires and now there are calls from within the Camp Nou to bring back their beloved Argentine.

Marca report that Victor Fonte, who came second to Joan Laporta in the presidential election, is imploring the club to pursue a return for Messi.

Is Barcelona really ready for this move, is their man going to perform as expected Huh am afraid not.

4810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Popular Cryptocurrencies Of 2021 on: November 10, 2021, 06:52:57 PM
i think 2021 has actually tuned out better than i thought after coming from a very horric 2020 which hit us hard with the pandemic, but thank God we are slowly getting back on track.

For my popular 2021 coins
  • 1. Ethereum -simply because its the undisputed king of altcoins and keeps showing a steady growth in its usage
  • 2. Binance coin-honestly i think this is an underrated coin but either way this is among the best and popular coins of 2021 because it came to the rescue when eth was giving us hell with its high transaction fees.
  • 3. Shiba Inu- didn't think this wouldn't make my list but it is what it is and its the coin that is about to dethrone doge from its meme throne.
  • 4. Doge- for the year 2021 doge did make several headlines and if this was a popularity contest this would have won it easily thanks to the Elon Musk effect.

4812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin makes new ATH. More ATHs to come shortly. on: November 10, 2021, 05:31:23 PM
there seems to be some momentum left with bitcoin, which means a new all time high is still in the pipeline... possibly we could be seeing a crossover of 75,000 dollars before the year ends which isn't far by the way. And as per tradition when bitcoin is bullish and posting new ATH its expected that altcoins will ride this bullish wave and post some new numbers but unfortunately all time highs could mean a sell off for some of these projects which will soon be tanking.

Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend?
For starters i have never heard of FTX, despite having a clue of what this could be from similar names i have encountered which is something likely to do with Forex and unfortunately we cant apply assumptions to such a comparison, perhaps an introduction of FTX will be appreciated!

On the other hand Kucoin is a well known name in the crypto ecosystem who need no introduction and I use them from time to time and based on this, if am still given a choice to pick between the two i would go with Kucoin...no hard feelings FTX Tongue
4814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: November 10, 2021, 05:12:03 PM
Gerrard to Aston Villa - all but confirmed. The announcement is expected in a day or two, he's finalizing agreements with his backroom staff.

I'm really happy for him, he's making all the right steps. Maybe one day he'll be good enough for the ultimate challenge.

December 11th - save the date - Aston Villa coming to Anfield.
Welcome back to the premier league Stevie and great move from the legendary Gerrard! And from the look of things there are better days still to come in the future  seeing that his already tasted some success in his coaching career. Btw for him to return to Antifield where thee real success was made, dreams built and trophies won would really be a dream come true for him or any player that has graduated from being player to manager. Looking forward to seeing you more in the PL.
4815  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-11-08] Zimbabwe may be the next country to embrace Bitcoin as legal tender on: November 10, 2021, 11:07:01 AM
How is the situation in Zimbabwe by the way... the last time I read about these guys in news tabloids was stating that their local currency was ditched and its citizens resorted to using the South African rand and the US dollar and some portions of bitcoin usage.

Now seeing this in the news that Zimbabwe wants to embrace Bitcoin as legal tender says these guys have failed to stabilize their own currency and running to bitcoin for solutions which is a win on crypto's side but as a country i dont think this is the right move as this will mean not going back to a local currency for them. What the heck, if it solves hyperinflation good for  Zimbabwe  Roll Eyes
4816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO Tim Cook invests on Crypto on: November 10, 2021, 10:55:45 AM
This is big news for crypto to be honest, and the fortunate part is Tim Cook might want to clear the air by trying to separate his business deals from his personal  investment ventures but many might see this to have potential influence on the current company his working for to do something crypto related which means Apple could have something for the crypto world on its radar. This is bullish news if you ask me ...

Having Cook on cryptos side is a big win, as this means we have Apple in our corner too Tongue
4817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Due Diligence: Investor/Trader or Exchange on: November 10, 2021, 07:14:02 AM
A few years ago when we had ICOs the responsibility of due diligence fell on the investors to try and vent out the bad projects from the legit ones

and this worked 80%( Percentage could be higher or lower) of the time, but then came IEOs which were a fundraising process which was/is done

by an exchange which meant we had less shit/scam projects because the due diligence pretty much few on the exchange itself.

Now in cases were an exchange delists a coin which was introduced to us through IEOs are they not responsible for any of our losses?
Do these exchanges conduct their own due diligence before listing a coin on their exchange?

Is Due Diligence still necessary these days...?
4818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose projects for investment on: November 10, 2021, 06:56:20 AM
Back then when we had ICOs looking at a team to try and see the legitness and seriousness of a project was a must but now i really dont even bother looking into them because ICOs are dead and gone Roll Eyes . With these new generation coins being listed on an exchange is a must as this was one of the down falls of ICOs initially which left many with worthless coins but today the game has changed.

My last prerequisite would be a combination of large active community and token burns of its coin to guarantee value to its project.
4819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: November 10, 2021, 06:39:52 AM

Why does btc growing faster than other Cryptocurrencies?
I think it has to do with it being the anchor of most if not all cryptocurrencies...and in this regard it acts as the leader

What makes people chooses bitcoin?
-In the crypto ecosystem its a known name or brand if you like.
-Its among the assets with the most liquidity.
-Bitcoin has made some people rich and others use it to try and relive or replicate this success.

Does bitcoin going up forever?

Go up forever, that is a definite no!!

Bitcoin price moves in a wave like motion which means it will swing from below then Up and then down again & this keeps repeating itself, which is why certain times markets are bullish and certain times they are bearish....and on certain days markets are kind of in an equilibrium(buyers=sellers) .
4820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you think of Meta (Facebook) allowing bets in the metaverse on: November 10, 2021, 06:24:54 AM
While we keep talking about Facebook aka Meta, is this new name change actually taking place because the company name is already being used by another and if they choose to go on with this they will have to throw in a couple of dollars, millions to be exact as the current owners know they have the capacity and they need to buy it off them first.

Quote
However, rumors say that they may actually enter into the betting arena by implementing gambling and gaming for money in the future Metaverse of Facebook. What do  you make of this?
All i will say is a successful company knows when to diversify its portfolio to spread risk and maximize on its profits...and tbh this is a welcome move. Welcome to the gambling ecosystem meta.
