4801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does technical and fundamental analysis help? My example. on: July 13, 2021, 02:36:40 PM
Fundamental from news is always number one factor to buy a coin for me, because in this current internet era, the news spread around the world in second and the investors must be look at the coin and buy the coin, the coin's price have to be increase within a minute or even a seconds. So for me keep up to date with the information is number one must have skills for crypto investors

Yeah, definitely not anymore at least not with all the paid media we get to see for majority of altcoins anyway. Not that fundamentals is any easier to see for all these new coins still not even having enough data to look at, or with so much manipulation going on. Which is why it's best to stick to the ones most resistant to manipulation (hello Bitcoin and ETH).
4802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT has broken the buck, once Tether goes to zero so does the real value of BTC on: July 13, 2021, 02:02:21 PM
First of all, Tether won't go to zero. I don't like it at all, but if anything it's proven that it can survive regulations and for a company, it's actually too big to fail at the moment. Not that they can't get in trouble, but they can't go to zero without finding a replacement.

Secondly, when has the real value of BTC ever relied 100% on Tether? Or even the entire BTC market?
4803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 13, 2021, 12:45:11 PM
I fell asleep immediately after the game yesterday, these constant overtimes really wore me out Grin

I'm glad that Italy won at the end, I thought they were the better team throughout the 120 minutes. I feel a bit bad about Saka though, it takes courage to shoot that last penalty, he's only 19 years old and will be put under a lot of pressure for a prolonged period now. He's also been racially abused, which is something that should never happen.

I like english team football-wise, but the english fans showed once again yesterday why the whole world is against them. Disgusting behavior.

This isn't the reason why I don't really follow English football more than Spanish, but definitely I've known for a long time about these English fans, and for a weird reason it also translates to their foreign fans abroad, talking about the hooliganism online. You will see them talk all the highest order crap online and hate each other with words not even reserved for things that matter.

I don't even like Arsenal but I hope Saka blows everyone out of the water next season. Football has to really kick out these racists.
4804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 13, 2021, 12:04:02 PM
Quick question, how does a country qualify to play the Olympics? I really want to see my country play but they aren't even participating so I don't exactly get what is the requirements to do be part of Olympics, also who will be carrying the torch this time?

I do not know how it is for most sports but the big ones like track events and team sports, you have qualification rounds for them all the four years throughout the wait for the next Olympics. OR like for running, which I sometimes follow, there is a qualification time you must meet at a recognized competition, if you do it, then you win a "ticket" to Olympics.

So this is like a "final" also except I think in individual sports you have a limit for participation as I explained.
4805  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ratio of supply on exchanges hits 6 months low on: July 13, 2021, 10:36:08 AM
Yeah but Tesla isn't going to an exchange and buying up orders. They're probably all buying in staggered orders on OTC brokers.

All companies buy through OTC, thus ensuring that transactions are private, and do not affect the price - and when they want to affect the price, then publicly announce that they have invested in BTC. However, people overestimate the investment by T, because it is approximately 40 000 BTC, while MicroStrategy has bought more than twice as much and still continues to buy.

What we don't know is how big the OTC market really is, and it's assumed that it may be larger than what we see on crypto exchanges - which again show the data the way they want it - and not necessarily the way they really are. In the past, Chinese crypto exchanges faked volumes as part of their business strategy to show how liquid they are, and does anyone suspect that not all other crypto exchanges do that today?

Yeah, so the point I was getting at is that Tesla buying all that isn't going to affect supply on exchanges since they all buy OTC, so it's not really relevant to the main point of exchange supply:) UNLESS OTCs themselves also feed off exchanges (and some exchange OTCs seem to). I definitely know all exchanges still play along with stats. And why wouldn't they right?Smiley When they've gotten caught and not punished.
4806  Economy / Exchanges / Re: U.K Banned binance exchange. on: July 13, 2021, 08:45:24 AM
Gizmodo submitted a Freedom of Information Act request with the Federal Trade Commission, asking for any complaints filed with the FTC about Binance. The agency found 760 complaints filed since June of 2020, 200 of which were released to Gizmodo and redacted to protect private information. And while the redactions making it difficult to independently verify each individual claim, we start to see illuminating patterns.

Remember, this is crypto we're talking about. Open up any of the trusted services on this forum and you will see 100s of complaints. Check casinos for example, where I am a user at many, and we know the admins are even active on this forum. 100s of Flags, Red Trust, and Trustpilot scam complaints. But very few actually merit a real complaint, just scammers who got caught or losers whining or people who tried to scam with fake KYC.

I believe there are 760 complaints. I don't know how many are legit, and I think most of those if not all would have been resolved.
4807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: July 13, 2021, 08:06:16 AM
Been a long, long time since I did POS coins, guys. There was a time I was having all these wallets open on my computer, at first making quite decent income from reselling back into BTC, but eventually when POS madness got crazy, not even high interest earning could counter the 99% price drop.

Tempted to see how far this goes as I do like lightlord and am a Bitvest supporter:P
4808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 13, 2021, 06:54:19 AM
I did not have any special for the final, my choices were Netherlands and France for outright winners. When all specials are summed up I am very happy how Euro went. That cards special and total goals specials made nice profit.

I am only sad that monster special @300 France, Brazil, Djoko and Barty to win did not hit. That one would have been epic and life changing money. Just shows why it is easier to bet on single athlete sports then on team sports.

I myself only went for Spain + Italy, but the Italy one was more like a tiny bet because of the odds 16x so I didn't win much, but okay at least I still won back the Spain bet I lost, and a little more. Definitely happy with Specials too but that's exactly why you can't really bet on team sports and especially not football. Too many random things can happen, unlike Barty/Djoko where they more or less can make mistakes and still progress.
4809  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 13, 2021, 06:17:22 AM
So we're back here after a week, and back to the old "35k resistance but 30k support" line.

Have to say am a little disappointed that the markets took another loop around the same week, and if you look at volumes, it's all very low also so there doesn't seem to be interest (or maybe lack of resource) from anyone on either side bear or bull. 9 days away, we're closer to 20k we have to admit.
4810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your thoughts for half year on: July 12, 2021, 02:53:13 PM
I'd rather think that the rest of the year will be a bearish market situation, it's hard to expect a new bull run when it just happened this year, it doesn't work that way and we can always verify that by looking at the price history of bitcoin.

Agree. I'm happy to consider that we've entered a bear market or crypto winter or whatever it's called, ready to wait for another 3/4 years before the next.

And if I'm wrong, and we do see another rally unexpectedly, I'm still a winner. So no harm to expect the worse and just get ready to sit on holdings tight for a long time more.
4811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compound becomes the bridge for non-crypto financial. NEXT? on: July 12, 2021, 02:13:26 PM
So... since 2019 we've seen bridges all being built. From TRON to ETH, EOS to CHAIN and what not and so on and so forth.

But guess what? Defi users are still not even 100k, basically the same less than 100k defi users on Ethereum moving on these bridges to all the other defi platforms for better APYs doesn't mean delivering core benefits to normal crypto users:)
4812  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to buy BTC with Credit Card or PayPal? Urgent on: July 12, 2021, 12:45:22 PM
I suggest you don't use the instant exchange service if you're fine with KYC. In addition to being more expensive, I can't trust them with my card/KYC data. I'd rather use a CEX or other centralized services if KYC is not a problem.
I can neither trust instant swap services nor centralized exchanges with my credit card details after some centralized exchanges will still demand for ID document verification before someone can be able to make a purchase. Truly centralized exchanges are cheaper while buying cryptocurrencies, in this case if WAXP and many other altcoins, you can easily send the WAPX or many other altcoin to noncustodial wallet with just low fee, but it will require high fee for bitcoin.

Just make sure whenever you are forced to use these services, like I do, that you also request for their privacy policy. Then, after you've finished using the service and you don't want them to keep your data, request they remove it and delete it permanently with proof. Otherwise, you threaten them (and this is real) with reporting to EU (even if you're not EU but the service serves EU people then it has to comply). This is privacy legislation that works these days.

It works for me at one exchange I didn't use anymore. They deleted and showed proof. Doesn't mean it's really gone but I feel better about it.
4813  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 12, 2021, 12:11:15 PM
Ok, so what? This is the 10th time in the last few weeks it has done so, still a really tight range of trading for me between support at 30k and resistance at 40k. We're eating up the second half of 2021 quite fast already so time is running out to get 100k BTC before end of the year but people who're in the industry are still strong with belief so let's see.

There will be a meeting of the mind of the biggest influencer in the industry Musk and Dorsey, Bitcoin is having a hard time climbing to $35k this meeting could be the one that we are all waiting for the price to pump, there is a lot of good news, unfortunately, not the news that can lift up the market, we need better news to topple all these FUDS.

Not all of us all sorry:) I don't like Musk at all, don't really trust Dorsey, and if we're waiting for dudes like them to pump prices up, we have to equally be prepared for dudes like them to dump prices hard when they're done. And trust me, these guys don't care for bitcoin or the long term goals, they only want to feed their ego and get richer than they already are. They don't care about "us" in crypto:)
4814  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Customer just placed a $1,000,000 USDT bet on England!! on: July 12, 2021, 10:44:27 AM
What was the return on Italy for winning the match including Overtime?  Roll Eyes

It was something like 3.5 for Regular time, and just a bit less for Overtime (also a bit less for England). And to lift trophy both were less than 2.0x:)

I'm happy of course, my final special hit which was the Outright for Italy.
4815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 [Argentina The Champions] on: July 12, 2021, 10:03:43 AM
Can't say enough how happy I am for my man Messi. I don't know about his future anymore at Barca but I expect him to still be there, but it doesn't matter anymore. First Suarez wins the title with Atletico and now Messi his first major title other than Olympics, so I feel like the universe has been kind to my two heroes. I can rest easy now.

Ballon again though? Not sure.

Hopefully Messi is going to win the Ballon again. Has performed exceptionally well throughout Copa America. He has scored 4 goals and 5 assists. If Harry Kane performs outstandingly in today's match and England becomes Euro champions, Kane has a chance to win the Ballon d'Or.

My dream of course, if he wins it and wins every honor there is to win from now on until he retires. But even objectively I'm not sure I can say he would deserve it this season, but it is interesting to note he was involved in every single goal in Copa except the final, so he basically really did was responsible for getting Argentina to the final, but they won that one with a new fresh team and without needing his involvement.

Kane can't do it, man, sorry, even if he won EURO he hasn't done enough at international or club level (not his fault).
4816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 12, 2021, 08:59:33 AM
Well.. you know the facts. England got the exemption, because they vaccinated more than 60% of their population (Italy managed to inoculate just half that number). The cases are increasing once more in England, but the situation is under control and the number of deaths have remained low. I am also supporting Italy for today's match (I guess a majority of those outside England are rooting for Italy), but for them it will be a very tough job to face England in front of all the English fans at Wembley. It can be quite intimidating, as Denmark found out a few days back.

We all got what we wanted in the end, regardless of the home advantage fan advantage etc. I can't remember which English player who said the 60k fans at Wembley sounded like 200k. I can't imagine how sweet is tastes now for the fans players and coach of Italy who won against what sounded like 200k.

Also, shame on England fans who abused Sancho, Rashford, Saka. My god, you guys don't deserve real Englishmen like them.
4817  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ratio of supply on exchanges hits 6 months low on: July 12, 2021, 08:38:51 AM
There is a lot of reasons why the supply decreases. Sure there are companies like Tesla which buy billions and which are going to be held in cold storage. But there are other reasons.

Like what was mentioned above. Some retail newbie might lose their BTC due to whales and the whales withdraw those profits into cold storage.

Another reason is people have hardware wallets these days and are worried about security on exchanges and withdraw them. Especially since price hit $64K at one point. So if you had 1 BTC and before it was worth $10000 you might of not cared as much as it’s worth $34K now and decide to buy a $100 hardware wallet to protect yourself.

Yeah but Tesla isn't going to an exchange and buying up orders. They're probably all buying in staggered orders on OTC brokers. You simply don't go to an exchange and ask them for BTC off their order books, that just crashes the market and gives them all kinds of slippage loss.

It's just less people keeping on exchanges, which is the trend that will only keep stronger, people finally wisen up to exchange "hacks"Smiley
4818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 12, 2021, 06:57:36 AM
Total point : 12 and another push. Thats it for the Euro as the BJ special bet, too bad we didnt hit any BJ from Euro matches
Too bad but it was sort of expected. These big competitions full of high importance games are bound to be cagey affairs were teams look to keep their net empty more then they look to score goals. Furthermore, it is easier to work on defense than on attack when you have limited time so national teams often go by that route.

If I recall correctly, the very first game for EURO was a Blackjack:) Or someone was pointing out in the early games but all the games ended up for the late ones so more people could bet I guess. So group games were the best probably but we also had a bust or two I believe in the late stage KO rounds. Too lazy to go and check but for sure, to get a quarter, semi or final to 20 or more would be too much to ask, unless you have a crazy head coach.

DeepOnion Turnings 4 Years Old Happy Anniversary

4 years ago we announced DeepOnion Tor using private crypto currency.

More than 3 years ago now since this cost over $20 and today it is barely 1.5% of that price:) Still a good achievement, more than 4x more than 1 year ago but this really reminds me of a good old time. And to think it's already been 4 years! Those were the good and bad old days when everything was possible except to maintain price.

Good luck to you guys, What's the most important development you had in 4 years?

I am with Darkstar here I would love to get a win with 5mbtc even though most times I only bet 1 but I bet a lot of people waiting:)

Today we only have one choice and for sure it had to be this game. I want Italy to win, but England looks like they have destiny making them win with nothing else but the force of finality:) How many of you are English here? Good luck!
