Lahore was 41/0 after 4 overs and now they are 98/4 after 13. That means that they could manage just 57 runs in 9 overs (from 5th to 13th). The spinners made the difference for Multan, after a horrible performance form both the opening bowlers (Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Irfan) proved very expensive.

BTW... Australia is batting first against South Africa and Steyn got Warner out in the first over.
4802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the price of Altcoin stopped in one place? on: February 21, 2020, 03:53:58 PM
however, it depends on the circumstances. an altcoin is always changing, especially altcoin that has just developed. the thing that we most often see is a point when altcoin prices stop, like ethereum today. however, it all depends on the trend, if the crypto trend goes up again, I think that point will be higher.

As long as the cryptocurrencies don't have any real usage, their prices will remain in a depressed state. Even Ethereum has few real life uses. It was the first platform to offer smart contracts, but this concept hasn't taken off. Smart contracts are not being used widely outside the cryptocurrency sector. I hope that the situation will change once ETH 2.0 comes online.
4803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decent signature campaigns? on: February 21, 2020, 03:46:11 PM
I would like to know if there are any decent signature campaigns running? I'm aware of the ones that pay with BTC, I want something that pays with altcoins, preferably not an ICO though, but an alt that has been running for sometime.

As far as I know, there are no signature campaigns that pay in ETH. But previously, there were a few campaigns from already listed coins (Denarius for example). If you have an account in any of the cryptocurrency exchanges, then you can trade these coins for either ETH or BTC. I am not active in the bounty section now, so don't know about the current campaigns.

Lahore Qalandars off to a very good start against the Multan Sultans and they are 41/0 after 4 overs. Both Fakhar and Lynn are playing well against the pacers. The Multan captain has no choice other than to bring his spinners... So he has called in Imran Tahir to bowl the 5th over. Shahid Afridi is also playing for Multan.. and he can be handy with his leg spin.

^^^ Don't know what happened to Virat Kohli. He used to be the only Indian batsmen who performs consistently abroad. I guess he is now finding it difficult to manage both captaincy and his own batting. Regarding Jadeja, I think that he could have added more variety to the bowling attack, in tandem with the off-spinner Ashwin.
4806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 21, 2020, 03:08:46 PM
This is really frustrating. The match between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans is underway at Lahore (Pakistan Super League), and DSPORT is not showing it. They are saying that there is some technical issue... I wanted to watch the match for 1 hour, since the South Africa vs Australia T20 match is about to start in 50 minutes from now.

Edit: Coverage has resumed at DSPORT. Nice to see Fakhar Zaman playing after a long gap.
4807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 21, 2020, 01:43:32 PM
Vihari played better in the warm up match this is the reason why he is included into the squad,Ashwin also played better than Jaddu and he is clearly better all rounder than Jadeja in test format so why need to skip him? Mistakes done by the batsmen so blaming the selection of bowlers has nothing to do with it for now.

Performing against a second-string side is one thing and doing the same against an attack which consists of Boult, Jamieson and Southee is another. I was pointing out the selection of Ashwin, because historically he has performed poorly outside the sub-continent. And this time the New Zealand curators prepared a pitch that is very conductive to pace bowling.
4808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: February 21, 2020, 01:35:08 PM
The only thing left for bounty hunters to cling on is the positive mindset from every projects they promote, if you keep thinking that many bounties aren't paying or scam you will end up regretting when you later noticed that some hunters earn big from bounties you once neglected, it won't hurt to try

Good bounties happen once in a blue moon nowadays. So you are saying the bounty hunters to keep on participating these campaigns, hoping that eventually one of them may give good rewards. I quit doing bounties almost two years back, because I didn't wanted to go on like that. Anyone with self respect would agree what I said.
4809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a quick warning on: February 21, 2020, 01:00:26 PM
No matter how promising a project might look, especially if they are new projects just look them as if they have nothing to offer and invest only what you can afford to lose. Do not keep your eggs in one basket, do not fall in love with a single coin, no matter how good they are always keep digging, many more good gems won't hurt than relying on a single gem 💍. Be smart

I have to disagree. "Diversification" may be a good thing to do in the stock market, but not in the cryptocurrency sector. There are far too many projects and many of them are copycats of the earlier ones. I would recommend the new users to stick to the tried and tested, rather than going for the new projects. For the last 3+ years, this tactic has worked for me.
4810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 21, 2020, 12:39:29 PM
Why is Jadeja not playing? Was depending on him to make 20 more runs like he always does Sad

I would regard Jadeja as the most under-rated player in the current squad. He makes crucial contributions but always get overshadowed by the others. I don't understand the selection of Ravichandran Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari for this match, as these two players have not performed in overseas tracks. They could have selected Jadeja in the place of Vihari and Yuzvendra Chahal in place of Ashwin.

Babar Azam and Imad Wasim propelled Karachi Kings to the first total above 200 this season, with the former making 78 from just 56 balls at Karachi. Hasan Ali was very expensive, and conceded 52 from his 4 overs. The 20th over, which was bowled by him went for 20 runs, with Iftikhar Ahmed hitting two sixes and a four of the last 3 balls. Peshawar Zalmi is struggling now, after Jordan picked up 2 wickets.

I am not sure whether South Africa will be able to put up a strong fight against the visiting Australians (they managed to do so against England recently). If they succeeds in that, then the tour is going to be very interesting. Smith and Warner will be hoping to put all the bad memories behind them. But I don't think that the other two tours (WI/SL and Zim/Ban) will generate any interest globally.
4813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 21, 2020, 07:22:02 AM
PSL started and the controversy started with Umar Akmal getting suspended with immediate affect for anti corruption charges and the Pakistan cricket board is yet to release the seriousness of the issue and they are yet to publicly confirm what the issue is. I am yet to follow PSL matches but i will be following the matches because these tournaments will have an impact on the upcoming T20 World Cup and the team selection depends upon the performance of these leagues.

This is the worst start that PSL can get for this edition. It tarnishes the reputation of the league and the foreign players may stay away from it. Even the TV channels may show reluctance in bidding for the broadcast rights, if they suspect that it is tainted. There should be a zero-tolerance policy from the PCB and they need to make sure that there is no repetition of similar events.
4814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 21, 2020, 07:13:18 AM
Recently the CEO of ripple came up in a interview with the statement that Ripple will be amazon of crypto currency by 2025. Although there is lot of negativity with the centralisation of ripple the ripple company is working towards enterprises adaption . I think they have a good chance of adoption in finance industry.

They are centralized and therefore the banks and the wall street giants are not afraid of them. This is the type of cryptocurrency that they want (one which can be controlled by a central authority). And it is not surprising that a number of mainstream financial institutions (including some of the major banks) have reacted positively to Ripple (XRP).

Exactly, if the government of Afganistan's government can provide security cover like the Pakistan government then I am sure the cricket playing nation can think about playing there. This is only possible with the support of both India and Pakistan.

The security situation in Afghanistan has become better recently. For the past many years, the country hasn't witnessed any major terrorist events. In case a country such as India or Pakistan visits Afghanistan, then I am sure that the board will arrange the best security possible. Afghanistan is a test country now and the fans deserve at least 1-2 matches per year.
You are right they need some events but you need to know about them also there are many conflicts like on language basis and tribes they have history of wars and internal conflicts its never been easy for any official to control this all just four years of Taliban was really amazing as they was in total control if current dialogues will successful then we can sure this is good sign for them and local peoples.

Yeah.. ethnic issues are still there and the recently concluded presidential elections were largely fought on ethnic lines (Pashtuns won over the Tajiks). Even the sports teams are not free from ethnic conflict. Cricket is largely considered as a Pashtun sport, while football is considered to be dominated by the Tajiks. But recently, Tajiks and the ethnic minorities (such as Uzbeks, Hazara, Pashai, Pamiri, Aimaqs.etc) have started showing interest in cricket.

Another test match getting affected due to rain interruption.  Angry

The climate change is playing havoc with the international cricket schedule and I think that very soon we will be forced to stage all the matches involving international teams in the United Arab Emirates. Only 55 overs could be completed today and in case the weather doesn't improve in the coming days, then we'll be having yet another boring draw.
4817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: February 20, 2020, 07:03:54 PM
We seriously need to be careful at this point. See, 2017 came with a surprise truly and no one was able to predict the exact thing that happened. Now predicting that 2020 wil be the same as 2017 might bring a lot of downturns. The market truly is improving. Some ascribed it to bitcoin halving and some other updates, but what if those updates come and go, what will remain?

The prices have remained stagnant for almost 7-8 months now, after a sharp bull run from April 2019 to the next 4-5 months. The market is showing signs of fatigue, as evident from the low volumes. If the prices don't rally after the block reward halving (81 days from now), then we can expect a bloodbath in the market. And if that happens, then the alts are going to get more affected when compared to Bitcoin.
4818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: February 20, 2020, 06:55:44 PM
Here in India, it is now very easy to spend your coins. We can easily purchase various gift vouchers using Bitcoin, and these gift vouchers in turn can be used to purchase anything ranging from gold/diamond jewelry, flight tickets, hotel bookings, stuff at Amazon.in and grocery from supermarkets to payments at salons and media sites. So direct payments are not even necessary.

For Kiwis - Seam bowler Wagner is not part of the first Test.

This is a big blow for New Zealand, because Wagner had performed exceptionally well against both England and Australia. He was the backbone of Kiwi pace attack for sometime, along with Boult. The absence of Wagner is going to have a big impact on their chances, as Indians are comfortable against the other bowlers such as Matt Henry and Boult.
Yeah, big blow for kiwis. Don't remember the name of replacement bowler but replacement bowler (insert name) performed well against the Indians in recent ODI series. Boult is dangerous bowler when he's up against subcontinent batsmen.

- Wagner's wife is pregnant and they are expecting first baby soon.

I think that you are talking about Kyle Jamieson, since the other replacement bowler (Hamish Bennett) went for too many runs against the Indian batsmen. His bounce and seam movement troubled some of the Indians and that is why he got selected to the test squad. BTW, Wagner's decision to skip the test surprises me. It is such a crucial match. I remember Sachin Tendulkar flying back to England in 1999 to take part in the remainder of the world cup, just two days after his father died. Anyway... it is up to the individual to decide.
4820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: February 20, 2020, 06:40:11 PM
I also think so because binance represents complete altcoin. Complete here what I mean is, from coins, exchangers, to wallets, binance has advantages. binary coins and exchangers also have a fairly high trading volume and will continue to increase. while etherum so far is still in a safe zone but etherum 2.0 also has to wait for the results. although in the end binance cannot pass through etherum, but at least binance will enter the top 5 best altcoins.
I think that if we consider these two coins as competitors for 5 years, then I think that everything will depend on the development of ETH. Now BNB seems stronger technologically for me.  maybe an ETH community and its capitalization is higher, but everything can change very quickly.

Do you think that BNB is technologically superior to Ethereum? It is surprising, as I though that Ethereum is one of the most advanced coins available at the cryptocurrency market. Can you please explain a bit about the technological advantages of BNB over Ethereum? Even if it is having some advantages, they will be gone once they roll-out Ethereum 2.0.
