Yeah I'm thinking the same as I can't see India touring Afghanistan while there is still conflict in that country however if India do agree then like you said they will be sending a second rate team to play. If there is a security issue and if they are worried about that and not sending a team, then i can understand, but what i cannot understand is the decoy system to sent a second rate team to test the security process and if everything is well and good then they will send the real team, this is ridiculous if that is the case. It looks like Australia is open to the idea of playing a team in Pakistan.
PSL is played in Pakistan this time and i am sure they will provide extra security so that the even goes smooth without any issue and if that is the case then more teams will be open to tour Pakistan. Now in recent days we have many big events in Pakistan with few top ranked world leaders also coming here its going to be good sign as security is improving Sri Lanka and Bangladesh already toured without any issue so this PSL is also going to be big test if we able to manage this then surely this security drama is going to be end.

@Vishnu.Reang this is really joke for me as India going to tour Afghanistan because its not going to happen in next 10 years its more worst then Pakistan recently we watch few developments but these are not enough as any one can tour their for Afghanistan now India and UAE both homes as they can use them for long time.
The situation in Afghanistan have definitely improved, and foreign players had previously participated in their franchise T20 league. If test nations can tour Pakistan, then I don't think that Afghanistan should be left behind. Why the Afghan fans should be denied the opportunity of watching their national team play against the test nations?

I seriously do not know the actual situation in Afganisthan, whatever information I have is based on news coming out of that country, which states that the security situation is not good. As you mentioned US troops will be moving out of the country and it will become a real problem then how can an international team come to play in such a situation.

There is nothing much to know, they are a war torn country for decades and now they have built stadiums with the help of India i believe and they are playing their home game in Indian grounds which is evident by the recent series against West Indies and no one will dare to tour a country like that and the government cannot guarantee any security either like Pakistan is doing right now.

Exactly, if the government of Afganistan's government can provide security cover like the Pakistan government then I am sure the cricket playing nation can think about playing there. This is only possible with the support of both India and Pakistan.

The security situation in Afghanistan has become better recently. For the past many years, the country hasn't witnessed any major terrorist events. In case a country such as India or Pakistan visits Afghanistan, then I am sure that the board will arrange the best security possible. Afghanistan is a test country now and the fans deserve at least 1-2 matches per year.

Yeah.. ethnic issues are still there and the recently concluded presidential elections were largely fought on ethnic lines (Pashtuns won over the Tajiks). Even the sports teams are not free from ethnic conflict. Cricket is largely considered as a Pashtun sport, while football is considered to be dominated by the Tajiks. But recently, Tajiks and the ethnic minorities (such as Uzbeks, Hazara, Pashai, Pamiri, Aimaqs.etc) have started showing interest in cricket.

It seems like the Ahmedabad cricket stadium (which is the world's largest cricket stadium) has been inaugurated by Trump today.
Any idea when we're going to see that ground in action?

Anyone watching the (women's) match between England and Thailand (ICC Women's T20 World Cup)? Thailand won the toss and chose to field first. And England lost a wicket early on and they are 1/1 after 1 over. The match is being shown live (@ Star Sports 2 HD in India). Thailand is participating in an ICC tournament for the first time ever and they have done well till now. Their first match was against West Indies. Although they lost the match, they gave a good fight.

Women's twenty/20 world cup is going with full of upsets as in first match India beat hot favourite Australia then we have South Africa beat England and now today we have third upset as Pakistan beat West Indies look like now circle of game is changing here as hot favourites goind down very badly even still all teams going with full chances but its very interesting we have good matches.

Furthermore the Indian women’s team has won their game against New Zealand, and have now entered the semi finals and I have a strong feeling that they’ll win the T20 World Cup as they look unbeatable to me what are your thoughts?. I would like to see India as the champions, but they are not the no.1 ranked team right now (unlike the case with the men's team). Both England and Australia are being regarded as stronger than India. India has won all three of their matches so far, but their big test will come in the next stage (when they will face teams such as England and South Africa).

South Africa v Australia starts later today, after the poor performance by SA in the last T20 game, they will be looking to bounce back strong. I'm just hoping that the game will be a close game between the two teams. I think Australia will win the match but I think the odds are too short to bet on at around $1.40.

South Africa will not be able to challenge Australia with the present team they have, they won the second T20 which was unexpected as they were destined to loose that match but they somehow came back in the game as they bowled really well and put pressure back but ODI is a different game and Australia will dominate the match and the series.

Many domestic issues and now Rabada is also out from International cricket for some time its hurting very badly for South African cause on other hand home serious against Mighty Australia and then away series again India is very tough time for them because right now they have nothing to show in positive way.

I'm not really surprised that SA won the first ODI against Australia as they really needed to bounce back strong after a poor performance in the T20 series. I am a little surprised that they were able to bowl Australia out cheaply and win the match by 74 runs, I was expecting the match to be a lot closer but it didn't happen as the SA bowlers had a well rounded performance with all the SA bowlers taking wickets.
