Thanks to you 12G richer. Hows fred looking in the long game?

and btw I read your posts daily Spots, and bite my tongue, and never say a word, because Im not out to fud or hurt a coins value. I avoid that at all costs. I just came to try to help those that needed an explantion of where they went wrong. I made and lost loads of btc, its part of the game. But I just came to help and explain so others dont make the same mistake. Simple as that.

lol so not not bitching about MMXIV?

Bitching are you kidding? Im dancing in the f*king streets!! LOL!

I could see how $12,000 seems like a fortune to some, but that doesn't go far, especially when it's in the hands of someone who obviously doesn't know how to handle it

I wont brag more, except to say what DOES it say that I can invest that much and not think twice? Im also retired and just a bit older than you (still young), and have the time to do it. Spots, this is not a pissing contest. Dont be butt hurt cause I exited at the right time. I wont try to enter into a pissing contest with you, cause I know your ego comes above all else... Umm..kind of like me..LOL

Dont worry about me, and just keep cranking out them dar coins and making me rich!

Thanks to you 12G richer. Hows fred looking in the long game?

and btw I read your posts daily Spots, and bite my tongue, and never say a word and think your strategies are WAYY off course, and our numbers prove it. I dont fud or cause panic,  I avoid that at all costs because that just hurts a coins value, and I am vested in ALL of your coins still. I dont think its special, but I think its a move that others should consider in the future of other high pos coins. Im going to share my strategies , and others can adopt them or not. Hopefully they find the information valuable. Another strategy I employ is to wait until the high pos coin is sub 100 sats, and buy back in. USUALLY it wont go much lower, and profit is made from  buying in massive volume. Take it or leave it. Spots , now you have addressed me , I beg to differ on your strategy that interest will outrun inflation, it hasnt worked yet on any high pos coin. As you very well know , I was once the top holder of mmxiv, and at that time was worth over $12,000. Notice my address is not there now? Thanks again for a VERY profitable coin Wink Now the top holder on the mmxiv richlist, who we will call "fred" who has not sold any MMXIV , his wallet today is worth $4250. Care to explain?

Guys seriously, you didnt know a coin that was 10,000% interest would dramatically drop in value on a daily basis!?? Hold YOURSELF accountable. YOU made the choice as I did to invest, difference is I invested a few btc for a few days and out. Now THAT is free advice from a professional that consults on bitcoins/altcoins for a living. Your price is ALWAYS the highest in the first few days/weeks, and the drop % gets higher as there are more coins are available. Stop pointing fingers and blame, and educate yourself. I made many mistakes in high pos coins early in the game with Hyperstake, but I learned from that.

Heres a few articles I wrote around the time 10k was released to better explain:

Look at this one first: http://bitcoinlasvegas.net/the-decline-of-hyperstake-what-really-happend/

http://bitcoinlasvegas.net/revisiting-old-coins-can-they-be-more-profitable-now-even-after-they-have-lost-most-of-their-value/

...and to lighten the mood a bit, here is a parody I made before the Hyperstake crash (months before the crash):

Heres a link to my original post on Hyperstake in Nov 2014: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=830958.360

yes we all know... and a lot of you follow the same old path... buy, short hold, dump all

I'm still making btc weeks later... so who's right and who's wrong?

and PS your post really feels like a pure "ego stroke" you know like someone masterbating in a mirror Wink

Hahaha.. yeah it really does.

Congrats dude you want an award for your good investments?

not everyone is on their computers for 16 hrs a day like you and have the "PoS" knowledge to perform good dumps like you, infact you didnt take any regards for the market value of the coin and said fuck everyone else by dumping your invested "few btcs" of 10k just to get a few more big macs

Its amazing what you make up in your head without knowing facts. I sold from the ask side 4 days after I bought. I dont dump. I dont put myself in a position for that, and I am always careful not to hurt the market. People that dump, dump because they need the money, and waited to long and panic. I came here not to brag, but to educate people thats wondering what the hell happend. As I stated in my earlier posts, I have lost lots in POS coins MANY times, I came here to help people understand pos better, and what to do and what NOT to do. I dont like seeing people lose money, and if I can help others with my knowledge then I will. Anyone that knows me in crypto knows I am VERY community minded. There is lots of room for everyone in crypto, and I share my knowledge for free on a daily basis on my site thats dedicated to high POS coins and anything crypto related.

Hey guys

For those who mine on my pool pls point your rigs to others big pools , you will waste your hash on mine (coinminers) , i see the miners dont want to spread the hash

Thanks

Ok Ive often wondered about something, and Im not being sarcastic here. If Im on a pool that gets 99% of the blocks, and for example I get 5% of the block reward each time (Ive got 12Ths) ..why would I change to a pool that gets about 2-3% of the blocks and get next to nothing? Please explain?

So Im a bit confused on something. I have my miners ready to go, and I look at the the net hashrate is 5GHS of scrypt!! Then I check all the pools listed on the OP and they ALL report 0 Mhs of speed?!!? Is there another VERY populated pool I dont know about?   Huh Also Ive looked and looked and cant find what the min stake time is. Can someone post it.

Thank you

Ive been out of balls for a few months, I rode the rollar coaster, then folded after the initial fork. So, now things are back to "normal", Im back in the game. I decided to just sync from scratch, and its taking forever. Ive seen a few people ask for a bootstrap.dat, anyone kind enough to supply one? A big list of addnodes would be nice too.

Thanks

I have a question about POS rewards. The op says: "max reward is 3, POS starts at 100% and decreases"

My question is how often does the reward decrease?  At what rate each decrease? 1%? 10%?

Op says max block reward is 3 coins. What would be the max block size I would use in coin control to avoid going over the 3 coin reward?

Thanks
